Yudo was currently taking Zuzu's place and dueling Lulu in the second round of the Friendship Cup. Yudo gasped in shock hearing the name, "K-K-Kite Tenjo!?"
"That's right." Lulu nodded before smiling softly. "When he met her she couldn't Xyz Summon to save her life. It was kind of funny, though she was a natural with Ritual Summoning even from the start."
"That same Kite Tenjo that uses the Photon cards, and had managed to earn Numeron Dragon after defeating Mizar on the moon?" he asked her.
"That... how do you know that?" Lulu asked in shock.
The other Xyz Residents looked amazed from hearing what Yudo just said.
"He... he knows my teacher?" Carlita asked in disbelief.
Yudo only nodded saying, "He was a legend back at where I'm from. One of the most strongest duelists we ever known, and uses really powerful cards from the Galaxy with his ionic Galaxy-Eyes."
"He sounds like he might be a decent opponent. Before I turn him into a card." Yuri smirked.
'Well you actually won't be that much excited if you seen what he can do.' Yudo admitted before showing him memories of Kite from his mind.
"Well... anything else?" Lulu asked nervously.
Hearing that Yudo called, "Well since I just summoned a Number, Crystal Covenent draws me a card!" He drew looking before saying, "I place 2 cards down! Your turn Lulu!"

Lulu drew her card. "After this... I think we have a lot to talk about with Carlita and Shay, but you're trapped Yudo."
Yudo only looked to her, "Yeah, I know. Five direct attacks."
"That isn't what she means." Shay smirked.
"I activate the special ability of Lyrilusc - Celeste Wagtail in my graveyard!" Lulu called. "Once per turn if this card is in my graveyard I can attach it to a Lyrilusc Xyz Monster I control."
Her monster emerged from the graveyard and became a sixth Overlay Unit on Independent Nightingale.
Lyrilusc - Assembled Nightingale: (ORU: 5 + 1 = 6/ATK: 1200 + 200 = 1400)
"You can see it, can't you?"
"Huh?" Yudo asked hearing that.
"I know Masquerade can negate effects during the battle phase, but I can use Assembled Nightingale's ability during the Main Phase, and as long as I detach Celeste Wagtail I can use her ability to attach herself to Assembled Nightingale each and every turn." Lulu revealed. "Which means I can't take any damage for the rest of the duel."
"Oh so that's what you meant?" Yudo asked shocked.
"It is." Lulu nodded. "An infinite loop."
Yudo grunted hearing that.
"Lyrilusc - Assembled Nightingale attack Yudo directly!" Lulu called.
"So what did I miss?" Yuri inquired having just seen the memories.
'This...' Yudo answered before calling, "I activate Masquerade's special ability!"
"What?" Lulu questioned. "Masquerade can't stop attacks."
"He can't but you remember the card I used to summon him?" Yudo asked her.
"You used a Rank-Down-Magic card." Lulu answered only to gasp. "You don't mean..."
"It gives Masquerade an effect!" Masquerade took a unit, "And by using that Unit, it allowed him to gain Utopia's power to stop an attack!" A barrier popped up stopping Assembled Nightingale before Yudo smiled, "But unlike Utopia, this effect also ends the battle."
"I end my turn." Lulu frowned.

"Why that particular Unit?" Sylvio asked confused.
"Weren't you listening?" Rin asked him. "Lulu can attach Celeste Wagtail from the graveyard, giving her unlimited Overlay Units."
Yudo then called, "And then when summoned he can destroy Bird Sanctuary! Destroy Step!" Umbral Horror Masquerade fired a huge blast from his staff to Lulu's continuous spell.
Lulu frowned as her card shattered.
"And the Crystal Covenant allows me to draw another card!" Yudo called drawing before adding, "And now Masquerade attack Assembled Nightingale!" Umbral Horror Masquerade charged another blast to attack Lulu's Xyz Monster.
"I use Assembled Nightingale's special ability." Lulu countered.
Lyrilusc - Assembled Nightingale: (ORU 5 - 1 = 4/ATK: 1200 - 200 = 1000)
"Not this time! I activate Umbral Horror Masquerade's special ability!" Yudo called as Umbral Horror Masquerade lifted up, "By using an Overlay Unit, I stop Assembled Nightingale's effect! But not only that by but discarding a card from your hand your life points are cut in half!" (ORU: 4 - 3) "Dark Blunder!"
Umbral Horror Masquerade launched a pink wave to Lulu. Lulu's eyes widened as the effect hit her and she discarded a card.

"A-A-And that is it everyone! After maintaining a defense against her monster, and finally using a card to stop it, Yudo advances forward to the semi finals!" Melissa called to the audience.
The crowd erupted into cheers at that as Lulu and Yudo stopped their Duel Runners. Yudo smiled to Lulu saying, "Your a great duelist Lulu. I never seen a Deck like yours, it's beautiful."
"Thanks." Lulu smiled as they walked back only for the faces to appear again showing Celina was taking on Sylvio.
"It also reminds me of one of my friend's decks." Yudo admitted, "I remember buying her a card that she wasn't able to afford cause it costed too much."
"That sounds like the kind of thing you would do." Carlita smiled before blushing and just hugging him tightly.
Yudo hugged her back close.
"I thought... I'd never see you again." she choked out.
"Not to interrupt, but I think the four of us have something to talk about." Shay told him.
He gulped a little but nodded as they all walked out of the arena to talk alone.
"How do you know Kite?" Shay questioned immediately.
Yudo looked down, "I'm also from a different dimension, not from Standard..."
"Wait, but how is that possible?" Lulu asked. "You're not from the Xyz Dimension or the Synchro Dimension, and I know you aren't from the Fusion Dimension."
"Well... Let's just say, I'm from another place that's like a different reality." Yudo said to them, "I'm from this town called New Orleans in Louisiana."
"A different reality?" Shay asked before frowning. "That would answer a lot of questions, especially the unusual Number Cards you and your sister play."
"And... One thing is that Duel Monsters wasn't as advanced as it is here... Duel Disks, Holographic monsters, tournaments like these all don't exist." Yudo admitted to them before looking down, "And... Right now, I had been recently made an orphan."
He started tearing up, "Both... Both my parents... They... They had been murdered... By, by some maniac... Who was after one of my cards."
Carlita hugged him again at that. He hugged her back before saying, "And... And I... I..."
"It's ok if you don't want to talk about it." Lulu whispered.
"I... I know about Kite... Because... Because in my reality... All of this is fictional..." he whispered.
That caught the three Xyz Dimension residents off guard.
"Fictional? You think everything we've been through is fictional?" Shay questioned in shock.
"Back where I'm from you all, and everything before that had been made to entertain people... I don't treat you, or the cards like that though. I also view you as something special." Yudo answered.
"That... it would explain why your cards are weaker than the real ones, they would look stronger to be more entertaining." Lulu realized. "Or for more dramatic duels."
"I'm sorry to kept this from you... I was afraid if you know then..." Yudo trailed off before stopping allowing them to realize they would not see him as a friend if he did told them.
"You... you didn't trust us?" Carlita asked sadly.
"It isn't anything like that promise." Yudo quickly answered before saying, "It's just... people's opinions change based on what they hear, or see."
"Actions speak a lot louder than words, you lied to all of us." Shay told him. "It would have been shocking to hear, but you kept it from us. From everyone."
That only made him looking down with tears.
Shay just frowned at that.
"I'm so sorry guys... After losing my parents, I... I just don't want to lose anyone else..."
Carlita hugged him more. "You won't."
"Carlita?" he asked her hearing that.
"You won't lose anyone, ever again." she promised.
He looked over to her with widen eyes. She just held him close. Yudo soon starts sobbing loudly hugging her real tight like she's the last thing he has crying loudly in her shoulder.
"It's ok, let it out." she whispered softly.
The two brother, and sister Obsidians watched as Carlita kept Yudo in her arms while he cries loudly. Seeing that Shay frowned before walking over to Amy. "Your brother needs you right now."
Hearing that Amy walked over where she sees Yudo crying loud in Carlita's arms. Seeing that she gasped and ran over to them. "What happened?"
"He... Told us where you, and him came from." Carlita explained softly.
"Really, where?" Amy asked.
"You honestly don't know?" Lulu asked hearing that. That was before she explained to Amy what Yudo told them.
Her eyes widened in disbelief. "That... I had no idea."
Now turning his attention to her Yudo asked slowly, "Ames... Do you... Do you still love me?"
"Of course, you're my brother. I'd never stop loving you." Amy answered.
That made him start crying again. His sister and girlfriend both held him close.
"T-Thank you both..." he sobbed in between them.
"Can I do anything?" Amy asked him.
"Maybe... After we're done here, we all... Can visit my home?" Yudo asked.
"That sounds nice." Carlita smiled.
"C-Claire, and Emily... Must be worried sick about me by now." he admitted.
"Then once the war is over, you can tell them everything that happened." Lulu mentioned.
Yudo hearing that shook his head, "N-Not that far... When we're done in this dimension."
"How could we even get there?" Shay asked him.
"M-Maybe Sentital can do that. His future self brought me here, so he might have the same power." Yudo suggested, "Oh Sentital is a Barian Deity that was sealed in the Standard Dimension."
"A Barian Deity!" Shay cried in disbelief.
"I promise he's nothing like Don Thousand!" Yudo quickly added.
Suddenly Yudo felt a familiar sharp pain in his chest. He froze holding his chest, "Ah!"
"Yudo!" Amy cried seeing that.
"What's...?" he grunted out.
Carlita gasped. "That... it's just like when Yuya played Dark Rebellion!"
"Ah, gah!" Yudo grunted as a small black aura flickers around him as his eyes glowed a little before stopping with his head down before raising it showing his eyes are glowing white.
"Yudo?" Carlita asked nervously.
"Reunite... Reunite as one..." Yudo said absently, "Reunite as one..." he walks off where Yugo, Yuya, and the others ran off to, "Reunite as one..."
Seeing that Amy grabbed him. "Leo stop!"
Yudo growled before clenching his fists while yelling to the sky, "I'm resurrecting now!" Silhouettes of Frozen Heart, and Starving Venom rose behind him roaring loudly to the building up ahead.
Meanwhile...
Yugo had just defeated Roget with a dragon named Crystal Wing Synchro Dragon but with the end of the duel Clear Wing reappeared.
"Reunite... as one." he said absently with green glowing eyes.
Yuya who's eyes are glowing red said also, "Reunite as one..."
"What's going on?" Declan asked seeing that. "Yuya snap out of it."
"Reunite... And become whole just as before..." the two said absently before they both yelled, "I'm resurrecting now!"
Their dragons all roared loud as they yelled this with Starving Venom, Frozen Heart, Odd-Eyes, Clear Wing, and Dark Rebellion all roaring in sync with each other.
Carlita's bracelet suddenly starts glowing very bright.
"Carlita?" Lulu asked seeing that.
Carlita watched in shock at her bracelet suddenly reacting. Yudo froze from the light suddenly feeling calm before the roaring dragons vanished before he closed his eyes falling down to his back.
"Yudo!" Amy cried running to him. "Yudo, can you hear me? Say something!"
Yudo was out cold from what had just happened.
"What just happened to him?" Shay questioned only to pause. "Maybe visiting his home will give us some answers, at least if we're lucky."
At that moment...
"It happened just as he said it would." Aknadin noted thoughtfully before turning to the others. "Which means the task he left will soon be upon us."
"What do you mean by he?" Sayer with Nick who gotten away from Obelisk Force asked him.
"You honestly think we all came together by chance?" Nightshroud questioned. "Someone far greater than any of us orchestrated everything."
"The roar of those five dragons means that things have progressed to the point of no return." Don Thousand added.
"Don't leave us in suspense." Nick glared, "Who was it that brought us together?"
"You'll understand in good time." Aknadin told him bluntly. "Of course you have more pressing matters to attend to, the dragon you seek is beyond your reach... you're simply too weak to obtain it."
Nick reaches for his pistol upon hearing that to threaten Aknadin.
"I brought you to the boy, be patient." Aknadin told him. "What is planned for you will make the Frozen Heart Ritual Dragon seem worthless."
"You have no idea how much that card is to me." Nick told him simply.
Don Thousand touched him as images of the Lancers all lying dead before him appeared in his mind including Yudo with Frozen Heart in his hands. Nick smirked seeing the image before lowering his hand. Nick smirked seeing the image before lowering his hand.
"Patience, and that is what his plan has in store for you." Don Thousand stated. "For everyone."
"Alright I'll play this game more." Nick stated crossing his arms.
"You won't be disappointed." Aknadin smirked.
With Yudo's group...
Yudo was in bed with everyone else after rescuing Zuzu before Yudo slowly starts to stir. Seeing that Amy and Carlita ran to him.
"Huh? Amy, Carlita...?" Yudo asked seeing that turning his head to them, "What happened... I sorta passed out."
"We don't know, you were out cold for a few hours." Rin answered.
Yudo slowly sat up breathing, "My... My chest, it felt like it was being burned up."
"That... it's just like what happened to us." Yugo mentioned glancing at Yuya. "When he summoned Dark Rebellion... I felt like my chest was on fire, and the next thing I knew... I was on the ground."
"Same thing happened to me..." Yuya admitted placing a hand on his chest, "What's going on with us?"
"We don't know... but there might be a way to find out." Shay answered. "In fact, it might tell us everything that's going on."
"You got an idea?" Sylvio asked him.
"He... he thinks the answers are in our home." Amy answered. "The dimension or... world, Yudo and I are from."
"You two are not from Standard?" Yuya asked shocked.
Yudo looked down and nodded before explaining what he told Shay, Lulu, and Carlita.
"That would explain so much." Sylvio said after hearing all of that.
Yudo looked down, "I'm sorry to have kept this from all of you... After my parents, I just..."
"So... unless there's a reason to stay, we have to somehow find a way to your home... where we're all fictional characters?" Zuzu asked.
He only slowly nodded, "But... I never believed you all as fake. You all hold a special place in me ever since I found this entire universe on TV."
"Well, there are only four more duels in the Friendship Cup including the match with Jack... so do we finish the tournament and then head out?" Yugo asked. "It's technically Amy, Zuzu, Celina, and Crow left."
Yudo blinked hearing that, "Crow, and Celina won the next duels?"
The two of them nodded at that.
"Then again, you took Zuzu's place so which one of you should finish the tournament?" Lulu asked them.
"And now cowpikes let us start the semi-finals!" Melissa cried in the arena which caught their attention.
"I guess we'll find out when we get there." Celina mentioned thoughtfully.
Ulrich362: Well... quite the reveal from Yudo.
bopdog111: Of course that reveal had to come sooner or later.
Ulrich362: True, just a few matches left and then not only will Yudo be back home where he can see his friends... Amy will finally see the home she left as a baby.
bopdog111: Claire, and Emily must be happy to see him again but wonders where he went to.
Ulrich362: True, so... think we can knock out the four duels next time?
bopdog111: If by that you mean all four in one chapter then we can once we work well with Amy, and Yudo's Decks along with Crow's Blackwings, and Celina's Lunalights.
