Chapter 319.
(Ketcham Park.)
With everyone done with the first Friday of the month with their return to school, it seems like they all seek some outdoors time before the actual first day of classes on Monday. All the loud siblings along with Michelle and Jordan are at the park enjoying their company and having fun, while their parents are dealing with some things at work.
"I can't believe you guys met the new rich girl and her mean friends!" said Leni. "At least you told her to back off, she is so rude, mean and not so nice."
"I may be mean, at times. But that girl is way beyond the boundaries of mean and I am so going to make her pay for trying to take Linky away from Jordan! She's not the boss of everything!" said Lola.
"Take it easy there Lola, she has friends and even though you have been known to hurt a lot of people bigger than you, she might find a way to counter you with ease" replied Lana.
"I fear that she is bound to make a comeback" replied Lisa. "She hasn't done any wrong yet, and with this access of hers to the many things in her families riches and power, she might do some harm to our town and to the both of you."
"Then we're just gonna have to be prepared as well" said Lynn Jr. "She has no idea that we have been through worse, and that she doesn't scare us! She's not gonna be different from the other dorks we all put away for good, though some of them did kinda die."
"And that part makes me happy to know" replied Lucy.
"At least we're all here, enjoying this moment of fun and away from the hustle and bustle from what we all had to do yesterday" said Luan. She then boops Lily's nose making her laugh.
"The very thought of that girl being here is not gonna be all smiles and sunshine, she kinda reminds me of some rich and snobby people back in Hollywood, and in a way, also reminds me of Doug and that Chandler kid you guys said and that Tetherby guy, or any other rich and mean person we've all known" replied Michelle.
Lincoln sighs. "So much is happening, and we thought change was coming to make things better, and now they're gonna get worse for everyone with that Silver girl being in town."
Jordan look to Lisa. "Have you found any information on who Leslie Silver and her friends are?"
"Indeed I have, and thanks to you and Lincoln and with the aid from the Allied Outpost. We managed to find some information about these girls and their life style." Lisa pulls out a tablet.
"Well, what did you find sis?" asked Lincoln.
"Alright, now the girls all have one thing in common. They have all conquered Tuscola with their brand of popularity, and it has been thriving since they were in the fifth grade. All their families know each other which is why they're all friends and have been known for being rude and mean, and the people from the town they were in have been bribed and in a way, influenced by their money, power and intimidation."
This information shocks them, and also makes them feel uncomfortable.
"Dude that is dark and also evil" said Luna. She did not like this information. "What else is there to know about them?"
"I can tell you all what their family occupation is" replied Lisa. Now this got their attention.
"Well, tell us Lisa!" said Lola.
"Alright, first we have Regina Westwind – She tends to be the one who provokes any plans and makes things hard for others, her parents are both not around, for her father runs a casino in Las Vegas and her mother owns a cruise ship and is always on the move."
"Then there is Karen Houseman – She can be even ruder than her associates, she can be intimidating and very pushy and is also known for her many complaints and her short temper. Her father maintains control of the southern farms in Michigan and her mother has four restaurants around the state called "Houseman Fancy." There are barely around for her."
"Next is Gretchen Warwick – At times she can be informative and also have a habit in spreading rumors which could spiral into full chaos around that person's life. Her father is the boss of an IT company and her mother controls three banks, they too are not around for her and are too busy with their work."
"Chastity Higgins – As it says here, she can be short tempered as Karen, but at times she can be violent and show full signs of little love and dislike for anything around her, she may also be the one with the eye for fashion amongst the group. Her father runs eight car dealerships in Cheboygan which is where they once resided and her mother is an author to some book called "Living it rich for life." They both are devoted to their jobs and have little visits to their child and rarely interact with her."
"And then there is the best friend of Leslie Silver, though she sees them all as her equals. Hope Pertland – She does her best to make sure the group stays together, and at times she shows care for her friends, but not to others. She sees others beneath her and would cast them out, or say some mean gesture that hurts within. Her mother is a friend and co-worker to Leslie's mother and her father is the same as well, which is why they are closest as friends ever since they first met.
"And lastly we have the girl we all hate to the bone, Leslie Silver – The leader of the group. She seeks most of the popularity and her friends always put her on top. She gets what she wants and whatever she sees that doesn't seem fit, she would ask it to be removed immediately. She is fully power hungry and far more dangerous than her friends and will do whatever it takes to get to her goals, even if it mean she has to go through drastic measures to get it."
"Her Father is Thomas Silver and Cassandra Silver – Both of which are too preoccupied with their line of work and only go to her unless it's her birthday, grades, or is she has been caught doing trouble, which infuriates them."
"Thomas Silver runs a company that specializes in acquisition, production and refinement of raw materials. From wood, glass, steel, concrete and even rare metals, to which all have been provided to construction and business companies. Hope's father is the COO."
"Cassandra Silver is the boss lady of a luxurious five-star hotel known as the Siler Luxury, the mother of
Hope is her ally in making sure everything is up to code. But recently, she has purchased a massive land and has built another hotel, in which Hope's mother now controls."
All of them are at a loss for words with this information.
"Whoa! Talk about way too much power, that's enough to make me feel sick" said Lola. "Even with the luxurious hotel and other nice work, I think they're all like me but worse!"
"She's not wrong, I kinda feel scared hearing about them" said Lana. Lucy goes over to keep her calm.
"They're nothing compared to what we've been through" said Lucy. "Even though they have hurt so many people, we have been through so much hurt than anyone, even this town has been hurt many times."
"Plus, Royal Woods is not like Tuscola and our new look into things after some harsh conflicts may have helped Beaverton, Hazeltucky and some parts of the nation change as well into something better" replied Leni. "Jackie and Mandee told me, the whole thing was inspired from the many news and the tour from Lincoln, Jordan, Luna and everyone else."
"At least we now know who they are and can figure out how to deal with them if they even think about doing anything to all of us" said Luan. Then she asks. "How rick are their families?"
"Well, they have less than one million when separated, but when together it equals to six million or more, unlike the amount of cash we have all had within the family's bank account and we should have it transferred into the FutureTech bank account system for safety" replied Lisa.
Jordan chuckles. "So, they think they're the richest people in Michigan, when in truth they're not, and they have no idea about the Rosato Shipping Company?"
"No they do not, apparently they have been using shipping companies that they would see cheap and care little for payment. They only wish to keep the massive amount of credit to themselves and share little to those who have aided them" replied Lisa.
"Wow. Talk about Greedy" replied Michelle. "I can fully recall that you guys have more than 55 million bucks in cash from all the lawsuits and troubles throughout the whole thing, and it's all combined from the louds and the Rosato's."
"We can save all the cash into the FutureTech guys later, and that's one thing they don't have. The newest and superior tech company as our closest ally, and the other friends we've made that aren't in this town or this world" said Lynn Jr. "We got this all wrapped up in the bag."
"Well, with that being said. We shouldn't just let this slide, even though they don't have any allies or the higher leverage that we have, we cannot let our guards down. We don't know what other kind of trouble they can do, and we have to do whatever we can to keep each other close and safe, and the keeping this town safe from their reign of tyranny and trouble" said Lincoln.
"Linc's got a point" said Luna. "They're trouble, and we've seen most of it last month from everyone in town and now we know that sick chick has a thing for our little bro."
"And I will destroy her if she tries to do it again!" said Jordan. Lincoln does his best to calm her down.
Even the eagles were feeling aggressive, they don't like trouble and they have seen it head on. Well, not Bullet, sort of.
"If we steer clear and keep them at an arm's length or more, then we'll be fine" said Leni. "I really don't like her and her friends, they are so mean and rude at the mall!"
"Which is a good thing that they're banned from almost all the local places in there" said Luan.
"Hello Lincoln." they all stop and turn around and see the girl herself, Leslie Silver. "It is so nice to see you here! And whoever these people are." With her are her five friends.
"You have got to be kidding me?" said Lynn Jr. "Why the heck is she even here?"
"Hey! Watch your tone their ponytail, Leslie Silver can go anywhere she wants" said Hope.
"You do not yell at our sister like that you no good snobby rich jerks!" said Luan.
"Ha! You're one to talk braces, nice sense of attire too weirdo" said Karen.
"We are not just gonna stand here and let you talk like that to them!" said Michelle.
"Hey!" they all look to Lincoln. He then goes to Leslie with Jordan and the angry eagles on their shoulders. "I don't really wanna deal with your weird and deranged crush over me right now, I just wanna spend some time with my girlfriend, my sisters and neighbor here in the park, without you or your rude and downright horrid crew you call friends!"
Leslie and her friends are shocked, he has so many sisters. "Come on now Lincoln, we can all just be good pals. Why don't I get to know you better by hanging out with your sisters, and maybe we can see what we have in common?"
Lincoln was about to speak, but Jordan gets in the way. "I don't think you get the idea here Silver. Lincoln and I are a couple, and we always have been since we first met last year and sure as hell his sister's aren't gonna wanna hang out with some jerk like you, so back off!"
Leslie scoffs. "You think you're such a great girl don't ya Rosato, well bad news, because I'm the new top popular girl in town and everyone will soon be saying my name for years to come and not the name you or your family stand for."
Jordan is close to beating her to a pulp, but Luna stands in front of them. "Get the hell away from us, I do not wanna see you going anywhere near my little brother and his girlfriend. You have no idea who we are and what we have been through and you are no different to the other low-life hooligans who have caused trouble in this town. So, make like a block of gold at the bottom of the ocean and sink on out of here."
They look to the intimidating stare from Luna, even though Leslie's friends are the ones with more intimidation than anyone, they seem to be fearful from the one Luna has.
After so many troubles and adventures throughout their new life, Luna's devotion to keeping her family (mostly Lincoln) safe, has given her this motherly glare that feels like a double barrel shotgun through your heart and brain and it hurts a lot!
Gretchen is about to talk back to Luna, but Leslie stops her. "Fine, we'll take our business elsewhere, and I will see you next time Lincoln." She winks to him, but he's not interested.
"You won't have me Silver, my heart and all my love belongs to Jordan and you have no idea what you just started, also do not turn around" said Lincoln.
Leslie and her friends turn around and see 5 Twinblade Gunships looking at them from afar with a Harbinger Gunship and right there near the fountain are ten Peacekeepers and Peter Harris. "Is there a problem here? Are these girls bothering you guys?"
"Hey Peter" replied the louds, Rosato and Michelle.
This shocks Leslie and her friends. "What? You know that weird base outside of town?!"
"Know it? Lincoln, Jordan and Luna here are in command and alliance with it, they're good friends and that cowboy is Jordan's Godfather and the second command of the place" said Lynn Jr.
"And I am damn proud of the role I have" said Peter Harris. "So, Miss Silver and company, I suggest you walk away before trouble turns into a free-for-all cluster fight of pure action."
"And another thing, we're not just some ordinary rich boy and girl" said Jordan. "We're eagle champs." Patriot, Valkyrie, Harrier, Artemis, Freya and Bullet squawk at them in anger. "And to us, family matters."
"So, take a hike and camp elsewhere" said Luan. "Because we sure ain't gonna be on the same stomping grounds and watching the scenery with you bottom feeders!" That kinda made them chuckle.
Leslie and her friends did not like this, then they see the people in the park look at them in anger and are now whispering to each other.
"Also, ever since we found out who you are, we took the privilege of telling everyone else in town" replied Leni. "But that all started when you were all rude and mean at the mall, so everyone is being cautious and doing their best to keep an eye on all of you."
"We're all keeping an eye on you and when you finally slip up and commit something beyond human understanding and breaking laws, then we strike" said officer Schoffner who just arrived with two cops.
"And we'll also make sure that whatever plans you have, your parents will hear of this and don't think you can just get rid of evidence so easily" said Mayor Davis. "We've faced a lot of young delinquents and sent them away, with tons of evidence and no matter how many times they come back, we'll send them back to where they got locked up from."
Leslie and her friends did not see this one coming. "This whole town is with you guys?!" asked Hope.
"They are" said Lincoln. "And this is not Tuscola and you will not have any control or power over the good people of this town, so you can do whatever scheme you think is deemed good for your own selfish and horrid needs, but we'll always stand up and face the odds. We're stronger together, always."
They now see that everything they have hoped for, everything they have thought about taking control and being the most popular people in town is now fading. Leslie looks to them in anger. "Fine, girls let's go." Leslie and her friends then leave.
They all watch as they are no longer in the park and all sigh in relief. "Well, that went well" said Jordan.
Lincoln looks to everyone else. "Thanks everyone, this could've been worse if you all didn't come."
"We're not letting some new rich people do what they want in the town that has made Michigan on the map even more as a tourist place and symbol of true equality" said Officer Schoffner.
"I call them the next Tetherby's and sure as heck we do not want any more of that kind of rich and rude antics, gives me chills thinking about it" said Mayor Davis with slight fear.
"We got your back and we all know what they can do and that this is not the last we've seen them, we'll be prepared for whatever happens and we will make sure justice is served" said Peter Harris.
They all head back to their normal things. The louds, Jordan and Michelle then calm down as they all rest easy underneath the tree. "So, are we going to do the video chat with Lori tomorrow?" asked Luan.
"Totes yes! She is so going to love what we have to tell her, and she might also wanna tell us what she's been up to in College" said Leni.
"Lori is bound to become enraged and concerned when we tell her of the new rich enemies who have taken refuge within our town, which means we also have to keep her safe and our friends in Great Lake City" replied Lisa.
"Lisa's not wrong, all our friends in this town and outside will be in danger. Leslie will go to every lengths to ruin everything and get what she wants" said Lucy.
Luna and the others look to Lincoln and Jordan. "Linc? Jordan? Anything to say guys?"
Jordan looks to them. "Leslie will be an even greater challenge than anything we have all faced before, and sure as heck this is gonna be one battle that could last longer with whatever she has up her sleeve, along with her friends and riches ion her family's life."
Lincoln sighs and has a look for war. "Then let this battle commence, this is like our own little cold war and we're not going to let them take over our home and our lives."
"Yeah!" They all look forward to whatever happens to them in the future. Leslie Silver and her friends are now known and things are just getting started.
Lincoln then thinks. 'I have to inform my hero-self about this. I also need to know if there is a Leslie Silver in his world as well, otherwise we're both gonna be facing front lines in our home town and state. This is about to turn into one hell of a fight and we can't lose this one, not to her and not to their family.'
Meanwhile, Leslie and her friends are in her limo and driving back home.
"Those people are all idiots thinking they can go against all of us! Us! We're the ones who should be in control of them, but no! They sided with that kid and his too many weirdo sisters!" said Regina.
"And that FutureTech Company is with them as well! This is insane and stupid! They are not going to win this, this is our town and we'll be the ones running the shots!" said Chastity.
"There is no way we are going to let them stop us from doing whatever we want!" said Karen. "We're the top girls in this town, and soon this will be our state! I hate that pixie-cut chick!"
"We're rich, popular, pretty, smart, sophisticated and superior!" said Gretchen. "But that white haired kid with his sisters and that Rosato girl think they can push us into the corner? They have no idea what they have done!"
Hope looks to Leslie. "What the heck do you even see in that kid anyway?"
Leslie smirks. "The perfect boyfriend for me." they are all confused by this, and she looks to all of them. "Ladies, we have some planning to do, and when we win then this whole stinking town will be ours, and we star with the hottest guy who is my equal, Lincoln Loud."
