Chapter 320.
(The Loud House.)
Lincoln and Luna head out of the bedroom they share, and they make their way down the stairs. "We're here!" They both sit onto the nearby arm chair, with Jordan as well. Yes, Jordan and her parents are there too.
"Oh goo" said Leni as she sets up the laptop with the help from Michelle Lewis. "Now we can all be ready for the big video chat with Lori, and also with Carol, Becky, Whitney and Jessica."
All of them are there in the living room, and all of them excited for how Lori has been doing. "I hope Lori's doing fine in college, she's the first one ever in the family to go there" said Lynn Sr, and then he starts to cry again.
"Come on Lynn, let's be happy that she's there and enjoying her newfound education to a better life" replied Rita. Lily giggles and hugs Bun-Bun.
Then Leni and Michelle get the TV ready and it turns on the internet and locks onto Leni's account and then they see the video chat is ready. "Okay, we're all set and ready" said Michelle.
They sit with the others on the couch, which is bigger than the last one they once had. Why? Anyone recall what the Stankcos did to their home?
"Okay, so time to see what Lori is doing" said Leni. She uses the remote to click onto the video chat with Lori's account and they see her on screen. "Hey Everyone!"
"Hi Lori!" they all cheered to see her, Lori is wearing her University Uniform. "So, how's it going there at Fairway University?" asked Rita.
"Literally awesome! We can golf, enjoy some good food, have some free time where we can relax and chat, do some more golf and pretty much this is the dream college I have been searching for! Did I mention golf?"
Luan chuckles. "You did, and you were about to go for the two hundredth time too!"
"How is the education there?" asked Lisa. "Is it hard to handle?"
"Well, we haven't had full classes yet. We were given a schedule on where our classes will be, depending on the courses we've chosen and of course I took business management, I did had one class when it was Friday, math and it was hard at first to understand, but I recalled the many times Lisa would start talking about some thing's I didn't understand and I put them together and now it's not so hard."
Lisa chuckles. "Then it appears listening to the many things that have made you bored have worked."
"Pretty much, and no matter what subject is next I can handle all of it. Sure is harder than High School, and I already finished my first math homework yesterday, now I just have to get through history class and science tomorrow. On the plus side, I made some new friends on the course, along with Carol, Roy, Becky, Whitney and Jessica as well."
"How are they doing anyway?" asked Lincoln. "Also, where are they?"
"Currently busy, they want to say hi too, but they have other plans. Becky and Whitney are currently learning on Golf Car mechanics and the courses they took has improved them, Roy is chatting with some new pals he made and Jessica is also doing her own video chat with her family as for Carol, well…."
"Hey guys!" They all see Carol also wearing the same thing as Lori. "Good to see some friendly and more familiar faces, and like Lori said it has been rough at first, but we're getting used to it."
"Good to see you again Pingrey, any signs of trouble there?" asked Jordan.
Carol: "Nope. Everything is fine and we've had no issue at all. Lori and I are roommates, Becky and Whitney are roomies as well, Jessica has her own roommate, but she's bound to take her leave soon, so which means Jessica won't have a roommate for long."
Lori: "We've all had little to know problems, the only issue is that the golf course is being closed. An alligator has been spotted on the course and they need to get him outta here, thank goodness no one got hurt."
"Wow! Sure wish I was there to fight the big guy!" said Lana with excitement.
"Lana, let's not have that now" said Lola. "You may be rough and tough and all, but we're not gonna have that close call incident when you tried to wrestle an alligator during the time Linc and the others were gone from that tour."
Carol: "We don't really have anything else to say right now, everything seems to be okay. Enough about us, what the heck has been happening to you guys?"
Lori: "We wanna know what's been going on with the rest of you since I left, and we can start with mom and dad, then youngest to eldest."
"Nothing special honey, just a normal day for me at my work and of course adding some words to the Royal Woods Gazette" said Rita.
"I did find someone to take Carol's place, I took the advice from Jordan and her mom and now we're planning to have a small competition tomorrow at my restaurant" said Lynn Sr. "Her class will come to the restaurant and they'll be tested whether they can handle working for me or not, the one who is the best at what they do in cooking and keeping their cool will work for me, and to make it fair, we're even going to have some of them see if they can work for Aloha-Comrade, Jean-Juan's and Giovanni-Chang's."
Carol: "Wow! Well, good luck to whoever can nail the job Mr. Loud."
"The house has been maintained, and I made sure that everyone was okay and helped out" said Michelle. "But the real news is from your siblings, also tell Jessica I said hi. I'll be back to get you guys some snacks." She then heads for the kitchen.
"Everything seems to be okay with us, but we wanna let the louds speak their own thing first, before my husband has some words for you" replied Jesse Rosato. Rick on the other hand seems kinda excited about something.
"Lily is improving on her reading, though she is going to need to improve on her vocabulary" replied Lisa. Lily waves to Lori and has Bun-Bun with her.
Lori: "Hi Lily. I missed you so much baby sis, I'll come by and visit when I have the time. So, looks like Linc is over Bun-Bun now huh?"
"I am, I thought maybe it was time to grow out of Bun-Bun and just let Lily be comfortable with him" replied Lincoln. "But, she still has her bear and other plush toys with her, and she still likes to turn some books into a fort."
Lori: "And what about you Lisa? How's being back into least school year of kindergarten doing?"
"Well, I am pleased to say we are enjoying our new teacher who is neighboring the classroom we once were in last year" replied Lisa. "Darcy and I have been improving and I was still given full permission to have my lab in the same classroom, but I do not partake in my science all the time. I am happy enjoying having fun with Darcy and some new friends, such as David. Being a 5 year old and not some over the top genius is doing wonders and I have never felt so alive."
"Lola and I are doing well too sis" said Lana. "We don't get to classes until tomorrow, but whatever we face in class we can handle it. Also, I'm kinda growing out of the whole getting into the mud thing, sorta. But I still like to dabble with animals and mechanics and I am so glad my friends are with me in class."
"Same with me, I'm still being treated as popular and most of the students don't wanna mess with me" replied Lola. "My reputation from last year has left a hard mark on those who tried to make fun of me and my family, but I'm trying to be less mean and try to be nicer, sort of."
"I've been keeping the little sisters in line at school and making sure they're not causing any trouble" said Lucy. "Lincoln let Patriot and Valkyrie keep an eye on us, while the three young eagles are with Lincoln and Jordan are at Middle School, but we know that the little sisters can keep out of trouble, I hope."
"On the good part for me, the Young Mortician's Club will be open for some new comers and we're bound to get some more since I saw three new Goths come into the school, and things are still being monitored to Huggins doesn't overspend the school's budget on too much stuff that seems less important for school, like what happened last time with the floor wax."
Lori: "Well, at least you guys are doing well with no issues, but before I ask what Lincoln and Jordan have been doing, what's chilling it at High School?"
"I am so going to earn my name in high school!" said Lynn Jr. "my friends and I are planning to sign up for soccer, and then basketball and whatever sport that's there. Though, education is still on our mind and I think we just made a new friend who also likes sports as well. She moved in from Cheboygan."
"Things are turning up back to the big time funny for me and Benny boy, we're still in the theater club and advanced miming classes. We're gonna try and join some new clubs, just to see how good we are with other hobbies" replied Luan. "He's also planning to bring me on a dinner date this Friday."
She then brings out Mr. Coconuts. "Which means my Sweet Appleblossom is gonna be there too! We're both gonna be looking more good looking than clowning for that night."
Lori: (chuckles) "That's bound to be romantic, in your own way guys. So, what about you Leni and Luna? How are the top brass older sibs doing in school and home?"
"School is doing great, but like the others we don't start classes till tomorrow" replied Leni. "But I am so looking forward to joining some clubs with my friends, and being a senior sure seems different and also awesome. They let me take the parking space you once used."
Lori: "That's okay Leni, just as long as whatever trouble you have, you can always call me with whatever situation you have."
"I did meet up with Teri when I was at the mall and she's doing well in the Royal Woods Community College, and also we've been trying to stay in touch with Dana and that college she went to with Bobby" replied Leni.
Lori: "Bobby's doing fine, we had a talk last night and we weren't as long as we usually are and he said Dana is doing well."
Carol: "Her over-texting is now gone and we're all on the right track of change. So, Lunes. How's it with you and the music club?"
"Like Leni said, classes won't fully start until tomorrow. When we went to school on Friday, we were just given our schedules and getting used to the classrooms we'll be going to, also the music club is doing well and we won't be putting out entry's until Tuesday which we're looking forward to seeing who will be part of our club. Bullet is doing a fine job watching over the school, along with the guards there and is good company with Principal Rivers" replied Luna as she pets her eagle companion.
"Also, the house and everyone else is doing fine. We haven't had any troubles or any fights and we're all missing you, but we're doing our best to make every day feel like the normal times we've had back in the old days."
Lori: "Good to know, sure seems kinda boring with you guys not here as well. I miss you guys so much but I know we can all manage our own thing. So, Linc and Jordan what's new with you guys at middle School and your friends?"
Lincoln sighs and Jordan seems upset and the others also were upset and so were the parents. Lori and Carol can tell something was wrong. Even the Eagles are feeling uneasy with something.
"Lori, a lot of stuff has happened and it didn't turn out quite well on the first day of Middle School, even though there weren't any classes starting yet" replied Lincoln.
Carol: "What do you mean? What the heck happened at Middle School?"
"Well, we went to school, we met up with our friends and we all talked about what clubs we're planning to go to when the clubs start up and we're all going to do our hardest when classes begin" replied Jordan.
"Some of them wanna start some new clubs and we also got accustomed to know the staff and Principal Ramirez" replied Lincoln.
Lori: "What else happened? I sense a "but" in this."
Lincoln and Jordan look to each other and nod, they then speak at the same time. "New rich girl in school!"
Lori and Carol are both confused by this. "Explain!"
"Her name is Leslie Silver, and she moved into the house that was once where Chandler lived. Her parents are rich and she has her friends with her and they are the mean girls that messed with the mall when you were still here" replied Lincoln.
"All she seeks is full popularity and to have all the boys flaunt over her and her rich mean friends and take control of everything. We did some research and now we know what each of her friends and what she can do. They ruled Tuscola as if they were queens" said Jordan.
"And here comes the plot twist!" said Lynn Jr.
Lori: "What Plot Twist?"
Jordan then looks away with her arms folded. Lincoln also didn't wanna say it, so Lucy will. "Leslie likes Lincoln, as in she wants Lincoln to be her boyfriend and she hates Jordan so, so much for that."
Lori and Carol are at a loss for words and look to Lincoln. Lincoln sighs. "It's true, she likes me because I was the only guy who wasn't even interested in her looks. I guess having the long time kindergarten crush on Jordan has made me immune or something, she also has silver hair and that could be a reason why she wants me, she likes my hair and I think she can see just how popular I am along with Jordan."
"She seeks power and control and since Lincoln is a good friend and recognized face and celebrity in town, she wants what he has and be as powerful as he is, as well as the control of the Allied outpost and whatever else he has been known for" replied Lisa.
"She is way more power hungry than me, but that was the old me" said Lola.
"She's mean, rude and her friends think we're freaks just for being many sisters to Lincoln" said Lana.
"They find humor in people getting hurt and since she can't have Lincoln, she's bound to come up with some kind of plan to get him to like her" replied Luan.
"She's gonna have to try harder" replied Leni. "The one thing we know is that Linky is not easy to take down, he's trained, skilled, smart, caring, compassionate and the nicest brother we have and truly loyal to Jordan."
Lincoln smiles and so does Jordan. "Thanks Leni."
Lori is concerned about this. "Does anyone else in town know about her now?"
"Word is spreading fast sis, we got the whole town into the knowledgeable of what Leslie and her gals have done when they lived in Tuscola" replied Luna. "Mayor Davis said she doesn't want another Tetherby, she's done with rich and mean folks."
"Which I why Huntington Oaks is now changing their policy for only the nice and rich people to reside there, like Hugh and Dimartino" replied Michelle as she comes back with sandwiches. "Got the news from Katherine Mulligan, we're friends online."
"Peter Harris will have all security be reinforced and have more troops on guard and more aerial recon" said Rick. "To make sure this Silver doesn't do any trouble or damage to the town."
"The backup plan is to make contact with FutureTech and handle the situation should she do something with her abusive power and money" replied Jesse. "That, or we could contact her parents and the law itself. They can't have power over that."
This news seems like trouble and they know it could be bad for Lincoln and Jordan. Carol then looks to the Rosato girl. "You okay Jordan?"
Jordan sighs. "Peachy. I really hate that girl and I know she'd gonna do something to get her hands on my man. But she has no idea how resourceful we all are, and she and her friends think they're the richest in all of Michigan." They all chuckle at that.
Lori smiles seeing this and is happy to know they're all holding their own against this new kid. "Whatever happens guys, just fight it back and don't let Silver get to all of you. Be with those who can watch your backs and also keep track of what's happening around the town, but mostly to Lincoln and Jordan. We've all seen and experienced dark things that have happened to them and we are not letting some snobby and rich chick take our brother!"
"This legal Guardian has her sights set to make sure that out little bro is safe and with Jordan to ensure their relationship is as strong as the day they met and sparked the lives we have now" said Luna.
"We all can handle whatever will happen and she won't get the drop on us" said Luan. "We've been through that before."
"She tries something, and I'll be sure to teach her a lesson!" said Lynn Jr.
"Junior, the best thing is to stay out of trouble and let the law go on as it should be" said Lynn Sr. "But you are right, if she does do something that goes too far, then we have to take action into our own hands."
"We're all keeping a close eye on each other and everything around us" said Rita. "She may be rich, but she doesn't have an amazing family and friends like us."
"She won't break us, and she won't win" said Lincoln. "And since she might do some information searching, she might go after you Lori, and Carol and the others such as Jessica and the Casagrandes."
"She will do drastic thins to get what she wants and with her friends with her, they'll do what she says" said Jordan. "They seem to treat her like a boss, and all have the same rich and mean persona and I hate it! Dang I hate her!"
"That's why Peter Harris has sent some troops and a new outpost outside of Great Lake City" replied Jesse. "They begin installations tonight."
Lori smiles. "That's good to know, well now that we have all the troubles dealt with. What did you wanna talk about Mr. Rosato?"
Rick then clears his throat. "I know you haven't left college yet, and I should just let this go to when the time is right. But, should you finally take leave from Fairway University, I would like to hire you for Rosato Shipping's as the starting manager to the whole thing, which is a good start to see if you can be the CEO of the business."
This shocks them, mostly to Lori and Carol. "What?!"
Lori: "Are you sure? This seemed like something you were planning to give to Lincoln one day."
Rick chuckles. "Well, he's not getting older any time soon, and you seem to be the only friend to the Rosato family who is getting a higher education and you seem to know how to take charge of things and keep everything in line, and so you might fit the job for the beginning stage as the manager to the company. Like you said, you wish to one day be the CEO of a big business company and this is a good start."
Lori is in shock by this. "Wow! This is big, but I think we should discuss more of this when I actually finish college, or when we meet at a holiday when I get home."
They all chuckle and congratulate Lori for this early opportunity. Lincoln sighs. 'Thank goodness! Now I don't have to stress out being given an early manager gig, now I have to deal with the many jokes of me being married to Jordan every time we have a family meeting or dinner.'
They all continue to talk to Lori and Carol about what's been happening, but all of them are looking forward to tomorrow. Mostly Lincoln and Jordan, they have a rich girl to deal with tomorrow and her name is Leslie Silver.

A/N: I decided that they should have this chat with Lori, and her roomie Carol and also tell them what's happening and adding some new changes with the presence of Leslie Silver.
