Chapter 324.
(Royal Woods Middle School.)
The same old usual thing, Lincoln and Jordan walk out of Luna's car and they wave goodbye to her as she drives off to the high school and the three young eagles stay in flight and patrol the perimeter of the school.
Lincoln and Jordan look to each other and smile, they then run into the members of the Gamer's Club: Lance, Trent, Artie and Simon. "Looks like we're ready to check out our next meeting with the co-leaders of the gamer's club today" said Lincoln. "You guys stoked for this?"
"Heck yeah man. We did have our first meeting with them yesterday, today we all show them which games are we good at and then we're handed the uniform needed for our role" replied Simon.
"We all have played so many games and have participated in teaming up with each other, mostly in MOBA-type games" replied Lance.
"Then what are we waiting for, let's roll out guys!" said Artie. They all head into the school, but have no clue that Leslie and her friends are watching over them as they leave the limo.
"Thank goodness what we need for the plan has arrived and we can commence it when Saturday hits" said Hope. "Let's hope it works Leslie."
"It will, and soon we get what we want, and I get the boy of my dreams and Rosato will be forgotten!" said Leslie. "Now come on, we have other boring stuff to do in this dumb place."
"Why can't we just go to someplace with good shopping places?" groaned Regina as they head into the school, but they have no idea that some stealth soldiers are watching them from far away structures.
Ghost: Silver is in my sights, I'll be on standby for whatever she has planned sir.
Gladius Battlecruiser: Stay in your position and do not engage, report back any activity and keep an ever watchful over Loud and Rosato. Should something go wrong, then we'll send backup.
(Gamer's Club room.)
Lincoln, Jordan, Simon, Lance, Artie and Trent enter the room which is actually the room where they have their computers used for searching and school work, but they also have some extra computers for the club to use. They then see the couple who lead the club.
Laurence Shapiro – 13 year's old. Brown hair in a military buzz cut, green shirt with the logo of the Galactic Empire and a black hoodie with the logo of the Sith, Black jeans with symbols of the Rebellion and grey and white shoes with the logo of the Jedi.
Allison Greyson – 13 year's old. Blonde shoulder-length hair, light blue earrings in the shape of the Scourge, red shirt with the logo of the Horde, dark green hoodie with the logo of the Alliance, red skirt, black leggings, white socks and black shoes.
"Hey guys, glad you all made it" said Allison. "Since classes are still down, sorta. We can be able to see what kind of games you're all good at and also still awesome to have Lincoln and Jordan here as well."
"We're still kinda excited after what you guys have seen" said Laurence. "I mean, you guys have a Command and Conquer base outside of town! You met with an actual Frost Wyrm months ago and now there's a Starcraft-borne Battlecruiser above the town! You guys rule!"
Lincoln chuckles. "Well, maybe when the time is right and if we have the permission, we can let you guys come and see what we have in our Royal Arsenal." they all chuckle.
"Okay, so let's show you guys what games we're good at, what's first?" asked Jordan.
Laurence has the list of the games they need to try. "We're start with fun and puzzle games, then First Person shooting, Racing, Horror-class, RTS, RPG and Adventure, and then finally MOBA games. We'll keep score of what you guys do and see what games you guys are mostly good at and that's the role you guys will have for the whole school year here in the club."
"But chances you guys might be good at more than one games, which is okay for you guys to have multi-roles in the club" said Allison. "Kinda like a video game character, and not like a coven."
Lincoln and the others crack their knuckles. "Then let's do this!"
They all get to the computers that have been setup and start with some fun puzzle category games. Laurence and Allison keep track of their progress and scores, to see how well they are in whatever games.
This is gonna be a long day for them to test their gaming skills before they're next available class. They start with Tumble Bug, then Feeding Frenzy, Angry Birds, TABS and then some new Tetris games.
Next they play FPS: Left 4 Dead, Resident Evil Remastered, Battlefield 1 – 5, Star Wars Battlefront 2, Overwatch, Doom, Call of Duty Modern Warfare and then Counter Strike.
Next they play racing games: Need for Speed, The Crew, Mario Cart and then Obliteracers.
Next is Horror Class, let's hope they can handle this: Five Nights at Freddy's, Bendy and the Ink Machine, Outlast, Pacify, Blair Witch Project, Little Nightmares and Tattletail.
Next is RTS: Warcraft 3, Battle Realms, Company of Heroes, Starcraft, Red Alert 3 and Iron Harvest.
They then play RPG games, which they needed to make some accounts to do this: Diablo 3, World of Warcraft, Elder Scrolls Skyrim, Grounded, Minecraft, Subnautica and Ark: Survival Evolved.
And lastly, the games they have been waiting for. MOBA games: DOTA 2, Smite, League of Legends and Heroes of the Storm.
Now those are a lot of games to play and test out. They soon finish with their win in Heroes of the Storm and now wait for their team leaders to give them the results.
Soon, Laurence and Allison go towards them. "Okay, we have the results and have found out which games you guys are good at" said Laurence.
"Simon, you're skills are good in puzzles and racing, but you seem to be superior in both MOBA, FPS and RTS. So, those are the three primary games you'll take in" said Allison.
"Trent has some good skills in racing and very smart when it comes to exploring locations in adventure and RPG games, but MOBA, RTS and FPS is your thing from what we saw" said Laurence.
"Lance is pretty tactical when it comes to puzzles, RPG and Racing, but your true skills are honed within MOBA games" said Allison.
"Artie is pretty smooth when it comes to racing and you seem to be good and taking in skills at learning through the RTS, but MOBA and FPS are your main skills at their finest" said Laurence.
"Jordan has a lot of skills when it comes to Adventure and RPG, RTS and also Racing, but FPS and MOBA is where you seem to be superior at" said Allison. "Also, you're very competitive and also vicious when going head on into a fight, looks like dodge ball has made you into something more in gaming. Kinda scares me."
Laurence then looks to the white-haired loud boy. "And lastly is Lincoln. I don't know why, but you are damn right good at all of them!" This shocks them all, but then they understand why. "You know how to race with good precision and speed, you seem to solve puzzles with ease and find strategy in coordinating in RTS, you know when to take in jumpscares and find clues in horror and survive in adventure and RPG, you have quite good aim and dangerous weapons knowledge when it comes to FPS, but the one thing you seem to put so much strategy is in MOBA games. How the heck are you...? Oh, right. Ten sisters."
Lincoln chuckles. "Dealing with ten sisters has helped make me who I am now, so I learn how to handle situations and make use with what resource I have in my hands. Also, I have been playing lots of video games for some time since I was 9."
"He also has tons of high scores in the arcade of Gus's" replied Simon, this is something they all know and agree. "Heck, the only person who has ever caught up to his scores is Jordan."
"Well, now that we have that one covered. We can get to make the uniforms with the logos of the game-classes you're all good at, but we need the logos of the games you guys like and then we can make them happen" replied Allison.
Laurence then hands them a list. "Here are the games you're all good at, pick out a game you guys like and we can be able to make the logos for the jackets. We can see an awesome future for you guys when Royal Woods has some game challenges soon against other schools."
"And we'll make sure our school wins" said Jordan. They then see the games they're all good at and the games they can pick for the logo of their jackets.
They soon finish picking out what they like and hand them back the list. "Awesome, we'll begin with the uniform logos today and probably have them to you guys either tomorrow or Saturday" said Allison. "Once we finish handing you guys the uniforms, then we'll call you guys for a meeting whenever Principal Ramirez confirms we'll be part of a gaming contest against any school from around the country."
"Yeah!" They all high five each other.
"We are so going to win it, together!" said Lance.
"Depending on what kind of games are the school challenges are about" said Artie.
"We also have to make sure we balance with the clubs we've joined, we'll need to inform this to Darrel in the music club" said Lincoln.
Then Allison recalls something. "Oh right, the fliers for the big Talent show are here." She hands them the flier and they see what it says.
"Royal Woods Middle School Talent Show this September 25, auditions commence on September 16. The Grand Prize is a trophy and a free one week trip to Hollywood."
"Whoa what?!" They're all shocked by this. "Dude, this contest prize is so worth it!" said Simon.
"A lot of the preteens in here are bound to be wanting to be part of it" said Trent. They then hear his phone ring and he sees a message. "And looks like my girlfriend has a plan for me with this talent show."
"Then looks like we got ourselves some competition when the auditions begin" said Lance.
"Then we hope you guys can win, because Allison and I are also planning to be part of it" replied Laurence.
"Wow. We're all a club and soon competing, this ain't no game and I doubt there's gonna be a reset button or any extra lives" said Lincoln. They all chuckle at this and agree.
Jordan then looks to the clock and smirks, the time is close to the next class they have, the class that can show how dangerous she is. 'If Leslie has the same subject as us, then I am so going to wipe her out of the playing field!'
(Skip, Gym class.)
The time has come, the time has arrived and now it's time to bring in the hurt!
All the students who are part of this subject are nervous and are now in their middle school gym uniforms and gulp in fear, many of these new students have been in Royal Woods Grade school and they know that what they're up against is something dangerous and truly born to strike fear into all gym classes everywhere!
Leslie and her friends look around. "What the heck is wrong with everyone here?" asked Chastity.
"They look scared about something. What the heck is going on here?" asked Hope.
"Something's not right here" replied Karen. "Where the heck is Coach anyway? When are we getting this whole thing started?"
"Right here everyone!" They see Coach Keck come into the gym from her office and she has a different uniform on, it's a light blue version of her normal uniform and has the logo of an eagle with dodge balls in its talons at the back of her outfit.
This sends some fear into the students, they know what it is and so do the friends of Lincoln and Jordan.
But this confuses Leslie and her friends. "What the heck are you wearing?" asked Karen. "And what the heck is going on with everyone else? They look like they've seen a horror movie or something."
Leslie then notices something. "Where the heck is Lincoln Loud?" This irritates everyone, they don't like it when she asks about the boy who is known through everyone in town.
Coach Keck smirks. "Alright team! Come on out and let's rock and roll!"
Then they see them, coming through the main doors and in their gym clothes: Lincoln, Jordan, Simon, Stella, Trent, Lance, Artie, Mollie, Polly and Jenny. The Royal Woods Middle Eagles have arrived.
Thanks to Jenny, word has gone out about this and now there is even more to fear from gym, yet Leslie cared little about the school social media and did not know this, same with her friends.
Leslie looks with a love daze at Lincoln and his gym clothes, but her vision is then blocked by a very angry Jordan. Leslie scoffs at this, but then she feels fear when she sees Jordan, almost like the atmosphere just dropped and the oxygen is decreasing.
"What the heck is this?" asked Regina. "What are we looking at?"
"The Middle School dodge ball team, and today we're gonna see how well they can be when faced against the odds!" said Coach Keck. "With this team we've made, Royal Woods is bound to win the first ever Dodge ball contest, which we never had before and we know this team's gonna win, just as long as we got the most deadliest power couple in all of town."
Lincoln and Jordan chuckle. "Coach, we're not deadly. I mean sure we've fought enemies and kept the town safe from bad vibes and unruly preteens and also helped benefit popularity to the town, but we're kind hearted at times, mostly to friends and family" replied Lincoln.
"But deadly is not the word I would use" replied Jordan. "I'd like to call it tactical and precise, but I guess deadly works too."
"Very well then" replied Coach Keck. "So, you guys wanna pick those you don't wanna harm? You guys get to pick four from the group to join this small gym session."
They look to the group, and they have to pick out those who might get more than they bargained for. Lincoln and Jordan then do a huddle with the rest of the team and they made their choice on who to pick for this gym session.
"Coach, we pick Clyde, Chloe, Sadie and Flat Tire" replied Lincoln.
They look to the other friends who understand. Rusty was ready to try and evade as best he can, Zach and Giggles were ready to put their clowning skills to good use, Haiku will just hide and be unseen until she gets spotted and hit, Liam and Tabby know what to do and the same goes for Kat, Joy, Cookie, Christina, Richie and Emma. The other students also understand, and for once they feel like they can at least have some hope to survive this ruthless day.
This confuses the rich girls. "How come we weren't picked to be on their team?" asked Hope.
"Why are they called a power couple?!" asked Leslie.
"What the heck is even going on here?!" asked Chastity.
Coach Keck then blows her whistle. "Dodge ball!" Jordan smirks and they all begin the gym session.
(One annihilation session later.)
The students all come out of the school, they all look unharmed and seemingly okay. Turns out, the Middle School eagles held back their strength and relied on just doing light hits on less important areas of the opposing side's body.
But throughout the whole gym session, Leslie and her friends were the ones deep in the heart of no man's land, they were all locked onto when Jordan went to work on them. The kids on their side weren't even defending the rich girls and just trying their best to keep themselves from being eliminated.
Leslie, Hope, Chastity, Gretchen, Regina and Karen walk out with some bruises and a lot of groaning all over them. They took a beat down from them.
"How in the heck did she take us down with only one dodge ball and how the heck did we not hit her?!" yelled Karen.
"No clue, but she seems to have skills in this and has managed to outgun, outmatch and overpower all of us" said Gretchen.
"It was almost like she was locked onto us with the eyes of an eagle, or a missile" said Regina.
"This is dodge ball in this town?!" asked Chastity. "What the heck is even happening to us?!"
"We're the popular ones and for some reason we've turned into walking targets by one girl and no one else was targeting us and they all just smirked! What the heck?!" said Hope.
Leslie growls at this. 'She … She beat us! She beat me! How the heck did she beat me?! Why didn't everyone else help us?! Why did Lincoln just watch me take it?! Why doesn't he love me?!' She then sees Jordan and Lincoln talking to their friends about what had happened.
"You guys were great out there, looks like clowning has made you two slippery" said Jordan to Zach and Giggles.
"We did learn how to slip, slide and cycle our way through making laughs for all ages at summer camp" replied Zach. "Was hard at first, but then I got the hang of it."
"We sure know how to slide our way to slide-ly victory out there, and not cycle into the pain train and slip up too much!" said Giggles. This makes them all chuckle, that was pretty funny, sorta.
"The skills on the farm has made you guys good on the front line" said Lincoln towards Liam and Tabby.
"Well, when you toss them horse shoes, manure sacks, beat roots and dodge wild boar and foxes. You take all that you learn and make em all part of living and surviving'. That was awesome" said Liam.
"At least you guys gave it your all and made the whole thing more of a fun sport than a demolition derby" said Simon, then he whispers to them. "Good job on bringing the hurt onto the rich monsters."
They all chuckle hearing that one. "What did you say to me?!" yelled Leslie as she goes to them. "What did you say? Seriously, what is it?! I demand you tell me what you said to these others!"
"Back off Silver, you're in no position to yell at my boyfriend!" said Stella as she gets in the way. "Also, this isn't your business, this is ours."
"You think you can just tell me to back off?! Do you have any idea how the heck I am?!" said Leslie.
"Someone who has no respect or any regard to the emotions of others?" asked Sadie.
"You cannot talk back to Leslie like that you simpletons!" yelled Karen.
"What the heck is going on here?" They see Sam coming out of her car and Luna coming out of her purple Ferrari. "Simon, Stella. You two okay?"
"We are, this girl was just walking away so she won't get her snobby rich shoes ruined" replied Simon. The others high five him.
Leslie looks to them in anger. "You think you can just talk back to me?!"
"Hey! Leave my brother alone and go back to the filthy rich bin you crawled out of!" said Sam.
"Why don't you shut it dumb rocker!" yelled Leslie.
"Hey!" yelled Lincoln, Luna, Jordan, Simon, Stella, Liam and Tabby. "That's my sister you're yelling at!" said Simon.
"That's my girlfriend you snob!" said Luna.
"She's my sister's girlfriend and insulting her is going to make things very personal!" said Lincoln.
"Is there a problem here?" they all see Principal Rivers looking towards them with the rest of the staff. She then looks to Leslie. "Miss Silver, I do not wish to talk to your parents about this behavior of yours, and we know you'll try telling them off about the dodge ball team to them, but to the fact we have all the proof we need to show your rude and snobbish behavior from around the schools surveillance camera system, I suggest you stick with the common standards of how we here in Royal Woods Middle School take in the new change of not getting involved with your actions."
This infuriates Leslie and she takes her leave with her friends, she now sees everyone is against her and her friends and they're style of dominance and social status. She looks back to Lincoln and winks at him, but he shakes his head back and forth in denial and Jordan gets in front of Lincoln and cracks her knuckles, this kinda scares Leslie, but she does her best not to be scared.
Leslie's friends want to talk back, but Leslie stops them before they cause any more trouble. "Girls. We're going back home, now!" They all sigh and follow suite into the limo.
Leslie now sees that she has made too many enemies, all of them who defy her way of rich life and deny her of what she seeks and she knows she made a true enemy out of the one who has Lincoln.
The limo drives off with Leslie thinking. 'This Saturday, I'm coming for you Lincoln, and you will be mine. With, or without those wretched sisters and Rosato!'
