Chapter 329.
(The Loud House.)
Lincoln is sitting by himself and is going through some of the songs he and his band have made for the talent show. That is if they pass the auditions to qualify and try to win. With his acoustic guitar, he goes through the tunes and sounds to make sure they all play right.
Luna then enters the room and she sees her little brother going through the tunes. "Hey bro, having some tuning moments with that acoustic of yours?"
Lincoln notices her and smiles. "I am, I'm trying to figure out the tunes on some of the songs, and then I can show it to the others so we can be able to use at least one of those songs and tunes for the talent show, well if we make the cut tomorrow."
Luna sits onto the other bean bag chair. "That's pretty rad of you to do this bro and I am so proud at how much you wanna do this with your rockin' band with Jordan, Liam and Tabby. By the way, what the heck is the name of your band anyway?"
"We all agreed to call ourselves the 4 Feathered Winged Friends" replied Lincoln. "I know it might sound odd, but it's the best we got. We all liked the idea, and we all knew this name was inspired from the eagle friends we have."
Luna then has concern. "Do you think that Leslie will try something to ruin what you guys are gonna do?"
Lincoln thinks about this. "Yeah, I guess. She might try something to humiliate us at the talent show. One thing I now know about her, is that she wouldn't want to ruin our audition so she can ruin Jordan when the Talent Show begins, and we're prepared for it."
Luna smiles hearing this and she ruffles his hair. "That's my bro, coming up with a plan to counter the bad vibes and make good out of the things that'll ensure we all have a good day, but if you do need some help, then we'll be there to give you our aid little brother."
Lincoln smiles. "Thanks sis, also I was hoping we'd play some of your songs should they want an encore, well if we win."
Luna smiles hearing this and makes her heart filled with pride. "Sure thing bro, I'm cool with it and it would be an honor to have one of the songs I once performed to be played by you and you're band. Which song from me do you wanna perform bro?"
"That will be for next time, I have to inform the others about this and then we'll talk about it and then I'll tell you which song we wanna perform as our outro from our win" replied Lincoln.
Luna chuckles. "Very well then, and I won't ask you to tell me what are the songs you and the band have planned. This is the thing you guys wanna do and I'm happy that you're putting this talent and liking to music to a great event."
Lincoln then goes over and hugs Luna. "I had an awesome teacher, and the best big sister to look up to. I love you Lunes."
Luna smiles and she hugs him back and kisses his forehead. "I love you too baby bro, and I am dang proud to be best sis you look up to."
They soon break from the hug. "You know, I could use some outdoor time to find some tuning spirit. Wanna go to the park sis?" asked Lincoln.
"Sure thing baby bro, but we're gonna need to be prepared should that rich snooty girl and her evil friends come along and annoy us" replied Luna. "School may be done for the day, but we know things are gonna be less than happy with that rich chick around town."
"True, and I know Jordan is busy with her friends at the mall and she's watched over by Valkyrie and the extra guards and patrols around the mall" replied Lincoln. "Everyone understands that the extra things are necessary to ensure that Leslie Silvers stays out of trouble and doesn't bring any ruin to anyone."
They then get up and make their way out of the room, with their guitars, phones and tracker beacons ready. Luna then feels some hatred for the new girl and her liking for her brother. 'If she does do something to Lincoln and Jordan that could harm they're love, I'm gonna make sure she wishes she was never even living in town when I'm done with her!'
They then head downstairs and they see Leni helping Lola and Lana with their homework. "Hey guys, going somewhere?"
"We're headed to the park for some outdoor and perhaps some big sis and little bro time. We'll be back soon after we're done there" replied Luna.
"Are you sure going out there is okay?" asked Lana. "We know the new big and awesome patrols from the big ship is around, but that rich girl might show up anywhere out there."
"Lana's right, she is so mean and rude and she might be up to something after she and her friends were ruined from Saturday" replied Lola. She then chuckles. "And it was still funny."
Lincoln does recall that, he and Jordan also know that Adrien called them and told them about how he along with some other teens managed to dismantle the trap made by Leslie and her friends, and he knows Leslie Silver has more plans ahead to get Lincoln to love her.
"We can handle what happens out there" replied Lincoln. "We know she'll have more plans to make my love for Jordan turn into hatred for each other, but she has no idea how close and loyal we are to each other. She's not as smart as we are when together and sure as heck she sure isn't all that resourceful and if we could recall they don't have friends in town."
"That's true" said Lucy who walks into the room from the dining room with a sandwich. "I can feel she is up to something, but her desire to have you is going to blind her thoughts and make her fail, miserably."
"I've seen that one before." Michelle Lewis comes down from the stairs with their laundry. "Her whole idea of trying to get her hands on you is something from some kind of movie and in the end she is bound to lose, but we can't assume she's gonna give up so easily."
"Michelle's right. Silver will try something and even if she fails, she'll find a way to get back up and strike again, kinda like the other enemies we all went through" replied Lucy.
"And that's why we know what to do when she does so again" replied Lincoln.
"By the way, where the heck is Lisa at?" asked Luna. "I know Luan is back at the school with Benny and they're stage teacher Ms. Bernardo, trying for some new play for October."
"Lisa's in her room, and she's reading Lily to sleep and chances she too has fallen asleep as well" replied Michelle. "You guys have fun at the park and keep an eye out for trouble at the same time."
"We know and we got this" replied Lincoln. He and Luna then leave the house and they make their way to Luna's Ferrari. Lincoln and Luna whistle and Patriot and Bullet come down and land onto their shoulders.
They then let the eagles fly into the air. Lincoln and Luna then head into the car and place their guitars in the back, they then make their way out of the drive way and drive off for Ketcham Park, with Patriot and Bullet following them, the young eagles are still back in the house.
Lincoln looks out the window and he sees some Banshee's and Viking's in the sky and then some Wraith's. "Looks like the new patrols are doing well out there."
Luna then sees some Twinblade gunships, Apollo fighters and Cryocopters. "The guys from the outpost are still doing their part just in case. Two factions teaming up to make sure this place is kept in its cool. What do you think is gonna happen when we deal with Leslie and her friends anyway?"
"Jordan said that once Leslie has been dealt with by the court of law if she does do something horrible and law breaking, then the Battlecruiser will ascend into space and patrol the planet, just in case something else happens" replied Lincoln.
"And how is Rick Rosato handling with the new shipping methods?" asked Luna as she makes a right.
"Jordan said her dad and the company is impressed, they can be able to deliver cargo that are too much for the ships" replied Lincoln. "So the Hercules Transports are backup transports should there be an immediate cargo that needs to be moved, they do have warp jump in their systems."
"Change is here and it is making things sweet and awesome" replied Luna. "Also, you stoked for the big trip to Sleeping Bear Dunes Campground this month?"
"I am and so are the others" replied Lincoln. "This isn't the first time I went to Summer Camp, I did went to one when I was nine and it was kinda fun. We'll take care of each other and make sure we stay out of trouble."
"Just make sure the eagles will be there to keep an eye on you dudes" replied Luna. "And also call me and the others if something is wrong, okay little bro?"
"I know Lunes, Jordan and I know what to do. But you don't have to worry, we can handle it" replied Lincoln as he continues to look out the car.
Luna sighs. 'I hope so too little dude, I worry about whatever diabolical plan Leslie has for the whole camping thing, but I don't think she'll like camping. She doesn't seem the kinda gal to deal with that stuff.'
(Ketcham Park.)
The park doesn't have much people having fun, just a few folks just enjoying some peace and quiet and some teens using this ambience to help finish their homework. Some nice peace and quiet.
Lincoln and Luna are both underneath the shade of a tree and both of them are tuning their guitars. Lincoln is figuring out the tune for one of the songs he and the band made and Luna is providing some tunes she knows that could be an inspiration.
"So, any idea what the other pals and gals are up to for the Middle School Talent show bro?" asked Luna.
Lincoln then writes down the tunes and looks to Luna. "They haven't told us, but here are the friends we know who're gonna be part of it: Rusty, Richie, Flat Tire, Kat, Trent, Mollie, Sadie, Allison, Laurence, Emma, Zach, Giggles, Simon and Stella. The others are gonna be there for support and to see what they can do."
"Well, let's hope your friends can be able to pass the auditions for them to make it to the talent show" replied Luna.
"What about the High School sis? Don't you guys have a talent show or something?" asked Lincoln.
"Principal Rivers decided to move the Talent Show for next year on January" replied Luna. "And sure as heck the band and I are gonna be part of it, we're stoked for the next Royal Rumble."
Lincoln then realized. "I find it almost odd that they call the High School Talent show "The Royal Rumble" when there is a Royal Rumble that exists, but in the WWE and it's way different."
"Yup, I do recall watching it with ya and Jordan and Lynn, can't wait for the next one for next year" replied Luna. "Also, do you think your WWE friends know about the whole Leslie thing?"
"No clue" replied Lincoln. "We haven't gotten any calls or messages from them, but if they did know then they would've been here to give us some advice and I still have my basic training from Sergei Dragunov."
"Oh right, the uncle of Freezer Burn" replied Luna. "When is he coming?"
"He said he's available on Saturday" replied Lincoln. "Which is the same day Ronnie Anne, Sid and they're friends come to visit and hang out with us, and I told them what I was also planning and they wanna come and see as well and I think they might be bringing they're other friends Artemis and Becky."
"You mean they're friends from the Chaves Academy Wrestling Club?" asked Luna.
"Yeah, them" replied Lincoln. "If they end up going into the ring to challenge us, chances it's gonna be a free-for-all and Jordan and I are gonna be the ones to win it. They're good and all, but they seem to be going in too hard and fast without a second thought or plan."
Luna chuckles. "Well, we're gonna have to see when they do come here to town." They both continue to play music once more and find some tunes for whatever songs that Lincoln recalls.
But they have no clue six girls are headed for them. "Hi Lincoln!" They stop and sigh in annoyance.
Leslie and her friends are now right in front of them and deep down Luna is on the verge of beating this kid up with a bat, a shame she didn't bring Lucifer or her shotgun Protector.
"It's so nice to see you here Lincoln, oh and you're sister too" replied Leslie. "You seem to be enjoying yourself with some kind of song, what is it? Is it about me?"
Lincoln doesn't respond and he continues to write down the tune onto his notebook and then strums his guitar again.
"It is, and I know it's about me" replied Leslie with glee. "I don't see Rosato anywhere, so it means it's all about me. Mind if I know what it sounds like from your words?"
Lincoln ignores her still and he goes through his notes and then start the tune once more and then writes it down and goes back to his tune making alongside Luna.
"Well, I was wondering with you here and me here as well. Would you mind if I hang out with you?" asked Leslie. "We can get to know each other, since we don't have time to do so. Even you're big sister can be part of this and also learn to like me, we can be sister's too, with whatever it is she likes."
Lincoln ignores her and remains silent, Luna on the other hand is on the verge of tearing this kid apart.
"So, anything you wanna talk about?" asked Leslie. "Talk about me perhaps. I mean, I am pretty awesome and I am the most glamorous girl in town, or better yet through all of Michigan. So, wanna hang out? We can hang out here if you want, maybe let me sit next to you?"
But then Patriot and Bullet come down and occupy any space for them to sit and they have their menacing glare on their faces.
"Oh for goodness sakes. Can there be a time where those eagles aren't here?" asked Karen.
Then Lincoln's phone rings. Lincoln looks to it and smiles. "Oh, it's from Jordan."
This shatters Leslie's heart and she is now filled with rage. Lincoln chuckles at her text and Luna smiles seeing her brother happy. "What did your special lady say little brother?"
"Jordan said she's with her friends and they finished shopping and they saw a new video posted of when Leslie and her friends got messed up, but someone edited it and added fart sounds and some chipmunk squeals and wants me to check it out later, I told her I'd see it later and also add a like and a comment and it turns out it's her god father who made the video re-edit" replied Lincoln. "Still a trending humiliation through the whole town."
Hearing this literally ticks off Leslie and her friends, now the video of them getting messed up by their own plan is now being edited and downloaded. They're trending, but not the kind of trending they're looking for.
Regina then sees Lincoln's notebook on the ground and the eagles were occupied looking to the txt from Jordan and just as Lincoln puts his phone away, Regina grabs the notebook. "So, what the heck is the song anyway?"
"Hey! Give that back now!" yelled Lincoln as he gets up in anger.
Karen smirks. "What's wrong Loud? Not gonna let anyone touch your precious little book?"
"We just wanna see what the song is, what the heck is your deal kid?" said Hope.
"I think this song could be the one they're planning to make for that dumb Talent Show" said Gretchen.
"Ha! Why need talent, when being rich and awesome is far better than anything" said Chastity. "They should just cancel it and turn it into a camera show for us to be the main stars."
Regina then looks to the notebook with the orange bunny and musical note on it. "Let's see what this song is about?" But then Luna gets up and takes it from her. "Hey!"
Luna then hands Lincoln back the notebook. "Leave us alone now! Last warning!"
Karen scoffs. "Or what? What the heck are you gonna do teen?"
Luna looks to them with the eyes of an overprotective wolf mother. "Oh, I have done so much worse from every scumbag that tries to hurt my family, those who hurt my brother never ever wanna mess with me, and if they do comeback then I'll make sure they never walk again!"
This puts some fear into Leslie and her friends. Then Leslie tries to sweet talk to Luna. "Come now… Luna is it? Let's not go to that, we can all be such good friends and perhaps be able to become friends. All of us, you can know about me and I can be able to know about you."
Luna then looks to Leslie Silver with a killer's intent. "Never gonna happen! And I already know who you are kid. You're the meanest, cruelest, and most disrespectful girl in all of Michigan and i know my brother would never stoop so low to be in your vile position. I am bound loyal to be my brother's protector and the same goes for Jordan."
"I believe in the love between Lincoln and Jordan, and they are both truly happy each other and I know that my brothers' happiness is one thing I would wanna keep fighting for. I may have a dream of music and being big in the world, but when it comes to family then that comes first and everything else will have to wait. You are not family and will never be, so do us all a favor and take a hike and leave Lincoln and Jordan alone!"
Leslie backs up hearing this. She did not like the way this teenager was talking to her and she can see Lincoln standing tall next to this loud sister, the way Luna looks to her sends a chill down her spine and she feels like she's getting shot at and repeatedly beaten up, almost like she can feel the pain from all the enemies who have tried to mess with them in the past.
"Umm, guys." Gretchen nudges them and they spot a lot of the aircraft patrolling have stopped and are now pointing at them, all of them hovering and looking menacing.
Leslie know that they were once again outgunned and outmatched by this. "Fine, we'll take our leave." Leslie and her friends make their way out of the park. But Leslie looks back. "Later Lincoln." She blows a kiss to him, but he moves to the right to avoid her vile kiss.
"Leave. Us, Alone. Now!"
Leslie takes her leave with her friends and they get back to the limo. Lincoln and Luna sigh as they were now away from the park. The air patrols go back to what they were doing, but four Banshee's follow Leslie's limo.
Lincoln and Luna then go back to tuning they're guitar, but then Lincoln stops and he leans onto Luna's shoulder. Luna sees this and she also stops and pulls him close to her.
"Way too close little bro, way too close and the next time they do this again, then there's gonna be hell to pay" said Luna.
Lincoln sighs, he cannot believe he's gonna say this. "I know I don't stick to grudges for too long, but I really, really hate that girl and her friends so much."
They were both thinking of the same thing, and they know Jordan does as well. They have a long, long time before they can truly put her down for good and never see her again.
