Chapter 335.
(Royal Woods Middle School.)
The school day has begun once more and all the students are locked and loaded to continue with their rehearsals for the big talent show on Friday, but many of them are staying quiet and less talkative since two familiar faces are walking down the halls.
Lincoln and Jordan, everyone is looking to the white-haired kid with worry. They all know what happened yesterday at the Royal Woods mall and all feel bad for him and what that Silver girl tried to do, they know she would try everything to get to the kid, but interacting with his sister is a no go, especially if it's Luna.
Jordan looks to her boyfriend with concern. "You okay handsome?"
They go to their lockers and open them, Lincoln grabs what he needs and he closes it and sighs. "To be honest, no. I'm not okay. After what happened yesterday, I'm not happy or even feeling a good vibe. Heck even my sister's tried to cheer me up, but I mostly found the comfort either from Leni or Luna."
Jordan grabs what she needs and closes her locker. "Linc, things got worse which we know is bad, but don't let what happened yesterday ruin what will happen two days from now and this Friday. Luna wouldn't want you to remain cautious and ticked off."
Lincoln goes to Jordan and gives her a quick kiss. "Thanks for saying those words, I guess I needed it. At least we don't have to deal with someone today, I haven't even seen that wretched limo anywhere here."
"Lincoln." They stop when they hear that voice, Jordan sees Leslie and her friends behind Lincoln, and she can tell that Leslie is not looking happy or angry, but she seemed upset. "Lincoln, can we talk?"
Lincoln doesn't respond, this kinda ticks off her friends, so Regina speaks up. "Hey Loud, she's talking to you! So turn around and-"
"Zip it!" yelled Leslie to her friends. This shocks them and they back off. She then looks to the boy who has his back faced to her. "Linc, I know what I did yesterday was so, so wrong and I shouldn't have done that. I should've stuck with the normal plans I do, then just going after your own family. That was kinda low of me to do, and I understand how much they mean to you."
Lincoln doesn't respond and has his hand turned into a fist, which kinda puts fear and worry into everyone in the halls, mostly to Leslie. She knows about all the times Lincoln has fought enemies, and though he can be deadly with Jordan by his side, he gets feral or vicious when he's alone and you pick on one of his sisters.
"Okay, I'll just…. We'll just go now, I won't bother any of your family, I promise. I'll just do what I do normally and leave your loved ones of blood out of this, see ya, I guess." Leslie and her friends walk away from them.
Lincoln sighs and he looks to Jordan. "At least she won't be much of a bother for the rest of the week."
Jordan is shocked from this. "Wait, you wanted her to say those things?"
They then walk to their classroom. "I wanted to know if she did feel bad after what had happened yesterday, I mean I hate her, but I can't be hateful to her forever. Also, as long as she sticks to her normal failed plans to get me, then it's alright."
"But if she dare to step out of line and intervene or even speak to one of my sisters, then it becomes personal on a major scale" replied Lincoln. "She's lucky I didn't make the call to send all the evidence we need to the law, we keep her low for a while unless she does something too far."
Jordan smiles. "The man with the plan is back, good to have that handsome smiling face back!"
Lincoln and Jordan share a small kiss. "Glad to be back. Now, I think you wanted to tell me you had something planned for us at the mall later?"
"Yes, yes I did. I made a call to the pawn shop at the mall and he said he'll be waiting. This is not just some way for us to hang out, but for the both of us to make what we need to make for Luna's birthday gift!" replied Jordan.
This shocks Lincoln. "Are you serious?"
"Heck yeah I am!" replied Jordan. "We have to be there after school and make sure we don't have any extra school work or any form of homework for the rest of the day, also we're gonna need a lot of energy to make what we need to make."
"Okay, so what are we doing at the mall pawnshop?" asked Lincoln.
Jordan giggles. "That is a surprise, no spoilers handsome." She kisses his cheek and skips away.
Lincoln chuckles and follows her. "Okay, okay. Yes ma'am."
Then Coach Keck passes by them. "See you two on Thursday, we got track and field, rope climbing, and other activities and then its dodge ball time!"
This makes Lincoln and Jordan smile, then they see they're friends who heard everything the coach said. "Hey guys, come on we gotta get to class" said Lincoln. They all follow them with slight fear, they are not gonna be happy for when dodge ball hits Thursday after activities.
"Should all of us fake injuries on Thursday?" asked Richie.
"Maybe they'll spare us because they don't want us to mess up at the talent show" said Giggles.
"It's about to get wild for all of us this week" replied Simon.
Meanwhile, Leslie and her friends are headed for the Rich Society Club Room. They all see they're rich leader is quiet and not talking to them.
"So, what the heck do we do now Leslie?" asked Hope. "Any plans we have for next time?"
Leslie doesn't respond to them and just keeps walking. "Leslie, are we planning to help you get to Lincoln? When do we make the plan and then execute it?" asked Gretchen.
But Leslie still does not respond. "Maybe we can find out more about what he likes, maybe even get you an eagle, a female eagle to get his eagle to love her and therefore he will be with you!" said Karen.
Leslie stops walking and her hands turn into fists. This makes them worry. "Leslie?" asked Chastity.
"That plan failed!" said Leslie.
They all recall that plan to talk to his closest sister, and they all look to one person in the group who gave her the idea, Karen. "What? It would've worked if we kept talking and he'd shut up. I don't know what the issue is, the plan was sound and all of a sudden he goes upset."
"Because you don't pick and talk to any of his sisters!" said Hope. "We're marked as enemies to the town and he gave that warning last time we were here on Saturday, the first Saturday of September!"
"When Karen suggested that plan, I think Leslie was blinded from her desperate ways and was eventually sided into the ridiculous plan" replied Gretchen. "We should've stuck with the billboard idea of mine. That was better."
Karen sighs. "Look, can we just stick to some other plan. Maybe we can go and see what that Goth freak does, or compare Leslie to that little pink kid who does pageants and photo shoots, she seems as rich and sophisticated as we are."
"No!" Leslie then turns around to her friends. "We are not getting his sister's involved into the plans of getting Lincoln to love me. They are not part of the issue and we are staying to that word. I am not going so low as to have him hate me forever! We're already on thin ice from our parents, and I know none of us don't wanna lose the privileges to buying what we want."
They all know that one, they all have to go one week without any cash to buy stud around town. That was all the punishment they got, that was it.
Leslie then looks to Karen. "And if you ever do so mention one more plan about Lincoln and his family, then I am so going to ruin you so hard, that you wish you never met me!"
Karen feels like being afraid, but she stands her ground and scoffs. "Fine."
Leslie the calms down. "Good, because we're not gonna interfere with the relationship of Lincoln and Jordan till the end of the week."
"What?!" They're shocked from what she just said. "Leslie, are you feeling okay?" asked Hope.
"I'm fine. This is a small punishment I'm invoking to all of us for provoking Lincoln, and going so low with that stupid plan. We'll let them be, for now. But once Saturday is over, then we're back to what I want and what I want is Lincoln Loud." Leslie then heads to their club room.
Her friends are shocked by this new rule from Leslie, but they had to accept it. Though some of them don't seem to like this plan. Hope and Gretchen are more into doing this, just to calm down Leslie and come up with something else.
Karen, Regina and Chastity are not happy with it, sure they hate Karen for making the plan but going one week into not messing with Lincoln and Jordan was not gonna fly with them. Karen is the one who is mostly spiteful from this. 'Oh. That loud kid is not gonna get away from talking back to us, and I'll make sure Leslie gets what she wants, I just need my own plan and some of our friends to be part of it.'
What she has no idea, is that Regina and Chastity were also planning their own thing.
(Royal Woods Mall.)
Lincoln and Jordan go into the mall. "Okay, so where the heck is that pawn shop?" asked Lincoln.
Jordan looks around and smiles. "There it is, come on!" She grabs Lincoln's hand and they head for the place, they do wave to Leni, Fiona and Miguel who are on break.
Lincoln does notice the sign outside of the pawn shop. "We now hand make special trinkets for those you care for." This kinda confuses Lincoln. 'What the heck? What the heck is going on?'
They both enter the Royal Woods Mall Pawnshop and they spot the man in charge: Alfonse Willhelm. A man in his late 40's has grey hair on the side of his head and brown hair at the top. He has a brown goatee with some grey color in it, tall man not that fit, light blue polo, brown pants and black belt, black shoes and he has glasses.
"Hello there, you must be the one who called about our special on the shop" said Alfonse. "Welcome to my shop and I am ready to do my part and help you both."
"Sir, we would like to do the work ourselves" said Jordan. Lincoln looks to his girlfriend confused at what she just said.
The man in charge is shocked to hear this. "Are you sure? This is hard work and it might hurt you both."
Lincoln then understands what was going on. "Sir, we wanna make something special to the one person who's been there for us ever since we began what we sparked and we wanna make sure that whatever we make is made through our blood, sweat and tears. Something to show, how much she means to us."
Jordan smiles hearing what Lincoln said. "Sir, we'd like to take small lessons and tips and then get to work."
Alfonse is stunned by this, but he smiles and understands. "Very well then, follow me." They all go to the back, but first he puts the closed sign on the door first and then they head to the back.
In the back, the place was renovated and they added this place where they melt down minerals or rare stones to forge something. Lincoln knows what this is and what the plan is at hand.
Alfonse puts on some safety gear and clothing and gives some to Lincoln and Jordan. "You're lucky I had these, this was supposed to be for any kids who would want to take the charge of running my shop, but I guess you two can use the clothing for something else. Now, let us get to work."
Alfonse shows them how each of the tools and machinery works and how to be careful as to not get burnt or hurt from any of this and some standard rules on smelting minerals.
Soon, he finishes his lesson. "Alright, so now that that's done. We're going to need something to make what you seek."
"We have one already" replied Jordan. She then gets something from her bag, something that shocks Lincoln and Alfonse.
"By the name of my family in Berlin! Is that an Amethyst?" asked Alfonse.
"Where in the heck did you get that?!" asked Lincoln.
They both look to the dodge ball sized Amethyst rock that was wrapped in a plastic and was in her bag the whole time. "This thing was found in Africa and I used some cash from the accounts of both our families to buy this, so it's marked as purchased by Loud and Rosato, and yes this is an Amethyst and I had to make sure the color was exact to purple."
"This is incredible" said Alfonse and he examines it. "Yup, this is legit real." He hands it back. "How the heck did you manage to carry that here?"
"How the heck did you carry that all day throughout school?" asked Lincoln. This shocks Alfonse, she's been having that thing all day?!
Jordan chuckles. "Linc, tell me whose the dodge ball queen, went toe-to-toe with some bad people, and trained by a pro wrestler alongside you?"
Lincoln chuckles. "Okay, okay. I think I get the idea now. We should get started."
Alfonse smiles. "It's nice to see some youth doing some hard work for someone special and taking action for something of true sentimental value. I'll leave you two be, but be careful kids."
"We will" replied Lincoln and Jordan. They then get to work and the man then takes his leave to maintain control of his shop.
Lincoln and Jordan take the purple amethyst and they begin to vut it in half and then they both get ready to smelt it into something else.
(Outside.)
While everyone is busy, three girls go around the mall wearing hoodies and looking around. "Where the heck are they?!" asked Regina.
"This plan of yours had better work" said Chastity. "Otherwise we'd be in even more serious trouble."
"It'll work, we just need to know where are Loud and Rosato" replied Karen. "They were here in the mall, but where the heck are they now?"
"Let's keep searching and make sure what we brought is safe" said Chastity. They continue to walk and explore the mall, but have no clue Hope and Gretchen was watching them.
Hope and Gretchen knew something was gonna happen, and they knew Karen wouldn't let this all slide away as Leslie does. "We have to call Leslie, and fast" said Hope.
"I'll do it, you follow them and keep a close eye on them" replied Gretchen. "Make sure they don't see you and if they spot Loud and Rosato…. Then warn them. I can't believe I just said that."
"On it!" They both split up. Unknown to them, Jackie and Mandee saw and heard everything and they both nod and go and make some calls, something bad is gonna happen and they need to move fast!
(Hours later, late afternoon.)
The hours have been done and at the pawn shop, Lincoln and Jordan stop what they're doing and look at the work they made. They both do clean up the place and put everything back in place and they both look to each other. "Wow. We are a mess" replied Jordan.
"But it's all worth it for what we made for Luna." Lincoln then places the bracelet into the black box. They both smile and look to the name on the box. "To the best Guardian we've ever had, Happy Birthday Luna Loud. We love you."
"Kinda nice of Alfonse to make this box for us to use" replied Lincoln.
"Yeah, well I did request for it as well" replied Jordan. "He must've made it last night, this is way too fast for him. But making a special bracelet box is easy, and it's gonna be in the right color too."
Lincoln then puts the mineral enhances device away into Jordan's bag. "I can't believe you had that device with you as well."
"It was necessary, we can't make the item purple all the time and it deserves to be colored for Luna to always remember us by" replied Jordan. "This has been so much fun, and a bit messy too."
Alfonse then hands them some wet towels. "You two did an amazing job and I am proud at the hard work you two have put into all of this, your sister is bound to love what you have for her on her birthday."
"Thanks sir." Jordan then hands him the cash for all of this. "Well, we should get going now. Thanks again sir."
"No problem, it's still nice to have you two be part of this. Now run along and keep this safe." Alfonse hands Lincoln the box and he keeps it in his bag. They then head out and wave goodbye to the man, and that if they ever need some other kind of work with jewelry and stuff, then they're welcome any time.
Lincoln and Jordan soon make it out of the pawnshop and they head for the exit of the mall. "Loud! Rosato!" They both stop and turn around to see Karen, Regina and Chastity. "You two aren't going anywhere!"
Lincoln sighs. "I really don't wanna deal with Leslie right now, why don't you three go back to your spoiled rich lives in filthy riches in a dirty vault of bullies."
"We're not gonna let what you said to us slide!" said Karen. "You're going to learn who the real top kids are in town, and we're gonna make sure you two get a beating of a life time!"
Jordan scoffs. "We've heard that before."
Regina then has the briefcase and puts it in front of her and opens it, the two pies launch out and are headed to Lincoln and Jordan, but they both duck and it hits someone else. "What in the heck!" Lincoln has no clue the box fell from his bag and landed near the person who took the pie hits.
They all see who was hit, Leslie Silver. Hope and Gretchen back off from this. "What the heck are you two….." She then stops and feels itchy. "What was in those pies?!"
Gretchen then looks to the pies. "Itching powder, poison ivy and… Pee water?!"
"Oh gross!" said Hope as she backs off and everyone else sees this and takes pictures and video.
Soon, Luna arrives and so does Leni with Jackie and Mandee. "What the heck is…..? Whoa! What happened to her?" said Luna. "Oh god! That smells!"
"Huh, I guess they had this all covered up" said Leni. "Still, what the heck happened here?"
"Those three were planning to go against the word of Leslie and try and get even with you two" replied Hope. "We knew they would be up to something, so we followed them to make sure we stick to going one week without doing any harm to the two of you and to everyone else. But these three are stubborn and less than prepared than any of us combined."
This shocks Lincoln and Jordan and they look to Leslie and she's seething with rage. "Leslie? You okay?" asked Jordan.
Leslie covers her nose. "Never. Better." She then looks to Regina, Karen and Chastity.
"Leslie, we can explain! We just wanted to teach him a lesson in talking back to us like that since yesterday" said Karen.
"We were not part of this, we swear this was all Karen's idea!" said Chastity. "We didn't mean any of this!"
Leslie then snaps her fingers and her body guards that she hired recently comes in and grabs the three of them. "We are having a long and serious talk about not listening to me!"
The three rebellious rich girls try to break free and reason with Leslie, but they weren't going to listen to them. Leslie then looks to something that fell from Lincoln's bag earlier, so she picks it up and she goes to them. "Here, don't lose this."
Lincoln and Jordan both take the box. "Umm, thanks."
"Yeah, and thanks for the whole one week away from plans thing too" replied Jordan.
"This doesn't change anything" replied Leslie, she then calms down. "When it's done, then it's game on for Lincoln's love. But I will not have anyone within the two families be part of my schemes, I swear."
Lincoln sighs. "Fine, but should something else happen with my sisters and parents, then it gets personal enough for me to see you and your friends out of this town, forever. Are we clear?"
Leslie nods. "Understood." She then takes her leave with Hope and Gretchen and everyone else watches as they leave the mall and head to the limo and drive off. Though, as Leslie left she was twitching from the itchiness and smell all over her, she is gonna need a long, long shower and some medical attention too.
"So, that happened" said Mandee. "We were planning to help you guys when we heard those two talk about trying to warn you guys of danger as well."
"But it looks like everything is handled" replied Jackie. She then looks to Lincoln and Jordan. "Also, what the heck happened to the two of you?"
Luna and Leni look to Lincoln and Jordan, even though they cleaned themselves of the mess they had some bruises and small blackened marks to their cheeks. "What the? Why are you guys like this? Did anyone do this to you two?" Luna looks to Lincoln and Jordan and sees the marks on their faces.
"No, we just did something special, for you" replied Lincoln and Jordan as they hug Luna.
Luna smiles and understand what they must've done and she hugs them back. "You two have to get cleaned up when we get you two home."
They are days away from Luna's birthday and they're wondering what Leslie had plans for her three friends who went against her.
Only tomorrow will tell for them on what will truly happen. Let's hope they don't get into too much trouble as they have been since yesterday.
Some part of Jordan was thinking. 'Leslie's not a bad person. I think she needs someone for her, but who?'
