Chapter 338.
(Royal Woods Middle School.)
Lincoln and Jordan walk down the halls and wave to their friends and wish them good luck with their final rehearsals before they hit the big time with the Middle School Talent Show.
Lincoln then checks the time on his phone and then he looks to Jordan. "So, you stoked for tomorrow?"
"Heck yeah I am!" replied Jordan. "After what we did today in dodge ball, I am so game for tomorrow and for this last rehearsal too."
"I'm glad we went easy on our friends, they need to be strong and get the energy they need if they wanna be part of the Middle School Talent Show, can't say much about Leslie and her pals."
"We spare our friends, but Leslie is not our friend and I do not like her still" replied Jordan. "You do know that once the week is over, she'll be up to no good into getting you right?"
"Yeah, but if she goes over the line and gets one of my sisters or even any of our family involved, then I am so going to get even with her" replied Lincoln with some anger. "We have allies and resources and if she has the same thing, then it's gonna be a war zone and I am locked and loaded to bring her down."
Jordan blushes seeing how amazing Lincoln is when he is in the zone and angry. "Well, let's hope no one else get caught in the crossfire, and we still have all the proof we need to make sure the law catches up and it will make her parents as well as her friends parents truly disappointed and no amount of cash or lawyers can get them out of the mess, not when FutureTech is on our side."
Lincoln calms down. "Yeah, the best allies we got are the ones who seem to respect us for all we've done. We did help with making Royal Woods into one heck of a landmark in Michigan and fending off bullies and bad folks."
"The laws have improved and the anti-bullying and surveillance is online and putting all things ruthless and mean on the watch" replied Jordan. "But we have to be cautious still, we don't know what Leslie will do to try and find a way around all of this."
Lincoln smirks. "She thinks she's clever, she thinks she can do what she wants with all the money in the world, but she's not that great. We're stronger together, with our friends and family by our side and we can face the odds and send all things bad straight to the heavy duty cellblock."
"So true" replied Jordan. "So, how was Luna feeling after a nice sleep after her awesome birthday party yesterday?"
"She woke up with high spirits and felt like she didn't wanna let go of me when I woke up" replied Lincoln. "She really is greatful and happy for what we got her, she's never gonna let it go and she'll always treasure it, just as she treasures the love we share together, even with her in the mix."
Jordan giggles. "That's nice to know, well we should get to rehearsals, well our final rehearsals before tomorrow. Let's hope Liam and Tabby got their musical game faces on."
They both make their way to the music classroom and meet with their band mates.
But they had no idea that Leslie Silver and her friends were watchin them the whole time.
"The nerve of her, saying those things about you is so wrong!" said Regina. "We have to make some kind of plan that could literally put Rosato down."
"We have Sunday to do so, Leslie won't be able to make any plans to take her down until the end of the week" replied Gretchen. "But I have made new plans lately, and they can help humiliate her and make her look like a fool to everyone all over town, or better yet the whole world."
"Let's hope it does work" replied Chastity. "Unlike the last plan we had and it went bad and backfired on us! At least the school isn't talking about us anymore, well they are whispering and I can swear I hear them snickering still!"
"You think that's worse." Karen is looking to her phone. "We're the talk about comedy and are made into laughing stocks by those dumb comedians in Hollywood! The nerve of those people!"
Hope sighs. "When we finally put this new plan into action, then we won't be remembered as the laughing stock and Jordan will be the one who'll be humiliated and laughed at. This better work on Sunday."
"It will." they look to Leslie who then stops looking at the music classroom and then goes to her locker and grabs her stuff. "We have less than three days to do this plan, and I know it'll work. We can't fail this and we cannot act like fools."
"Still, why can't we just ruin their talent show?" asked Karen. "Sounds like a batter plan than anything, a live audience and with everyone on their phones too."
Leslie then slams her locker so hard it echoes and she looks to Karen with anger. "Might I remind you what you did with that plan involving his sisters?!"
"So what? What's the big deal?" asked Karen.
Gretchen sighs. "Karen, all of Lincoln's family will be there, especially Rosato's mom and dad and whoever else will be there for the talent show and if they see what we're up to, then we're in deep trouble."
Karen then recalls when she made the plan about talking to Luna, which made Lincoln angry and then made Leslie angry at her. "Ugh! Fine! I still don't understand why we can't mess with one of his siblings."
Leslie then looks to her friend with a scornful look. "You don't get it do you? We mess with one of them, then Lincoln gets ticked off and when he gets ticked off, he won't stop till we're all out of town and out of our social lives and we'll be the ones behind bars after doing whatever stupid plan you have in that low-tempered mind of yours!"
Karen feels like she should be intimidated for someone to mention her anger, but she calms down. "Fine, we won't mess with them. So, now what do we do?"
Leslie then walks away, with her friends following her. "We wait, and when the time is right then we can execute the plan, ruin Rosato and Lincoln will be mine!"
'And if his sister's get involved, then that's not my fault. I didn't want them in it, they got themselves into it.'
(Hours later.)
Lincoln, Jordan, Liam and Tabby finish with rehearsals. "Okay, so we did well and everything seems okay with no flaws and no troubles" replied Tabby. "We got this in the bag mates!"
"Hot diggity dang! We are so going to rock and roll when tomorrow hits it!" said Liam. "I could only imagine what could happen when we get first place from the talent show and my memaw and all my farm animals are gonna be there too."
"At least Jordan's godfather will be there along with Lana to help keep an eye on them" replied Tabby.
"Guys, I know we wanna win and look awesome, but just know that we're doing this to show what we can do and that we're gonna have fun and treat some respect to whoever wins the talent show" replied Jordan. "Let's not get competitive and wish them the best of luck before they get on stage."
Lincoln puts his guitar back into its case. "Jordan's right, our friends are gonna be there competing and each of them is skilled in their own way. So we treat each other with respect and not let the whole show get in way over our heads."
Liam and Tabby nod. "We understand bud, and we know how much our pals and gals mean to us and I just hope Zach and Giggles can nail they're act, they did learn from Luan of course."
Tabby chuckles. "Rusty and Richie are bound to get some laughs as well, and I wanna see how well Trent and Kat can dance. I keep hearing the tango song in the dance classroom."
"We'll only know when we get to tomorrow" replied Jordan as she puts her keytar away. "Now, we should all get going. We all worked hard, and now we need some rest, it's been a long day."
They begin to pack up and they lock the classroom door, Darrel gave them each a key to the place and yes he gave one to Rusty and Richie. All four of them go down the halls and walk out of the school, they look around and see the sun was setting.
"Huh, how long were we inside there?" asked Liam.
Tabby checks her watch. "Well, it is way past 4:30, we must've been going all afternoon with practice that we lost track of time."
They head to their bikes. "See you guys tomorrow, stay safe and healthy and keep up the rockin' confidence guys" said Lincoln.
"You too guys, see you two tomorrow and tell Luna I said hi" replied Tabby. She and Liam get on their bikes and they ride off home.
Lincoln and Jordan notice the eagles weren't there. "Well, looks like they got my message earlier and went back home, we're not in danger for the moment so I thought they'd enjoy some time with the rest of the family" replied Lincoln.
"Let's ride on home handsome" replied Jordan. They both start their long cycle back to their homes.
"So, you ready for Sleeping Bear Dunes Campground on Monday?" asked Lincoln.
"Sure am, I have everything I need for the whole camping event and I know this is gonna feel like summer camp in the 5th grade!" said Jordan. "Only we're not gonna be in tents. I heard from Jenny that we're all gonna be given a bunk mate in a cabin, which might be familiar to your sister Lynn."
"That is true, she did tell me about her time when she went there and had a bunk mate, sure is a shame she doesn't recall who her name is, but as long as we're all together, then we'll be just fine" replied Lincoln. "Who's gonna be there to supervise us though?"
"Jenny said it's gonna be Coach Keck, she'll be the one to keep an eye on all of us, and also tagging along is someone who Coach Keck knows, a friend of hers here in town" replied Jordan. "No clue who it is, but he must be as nice as she is and also responsible."
"You worried Leslie will try something while we're all there at camp?" asked Lincoln.
Jordan chuckles. "You kidding? She doesn't even like camping, I mean look at her. We know she's not into things that a normal kid or pre-teen likes and she seems to be more interested in the more modern stuff and less on the outdoors."
"Yeah, the only outdoors she wants is the one at the mall, or wherever she and her psychotic friends wanna go" replied Lincoln. "I bet she's gonna try and get something sophisticated into the camp grounds to suite her and her pals, but I don't think Principal Ramirez and Coach Keck are gonna be okay with that."
"She can try to reason with them all she wants, but they ain't gonna let her do what she wants at camp and she has to follow ground rules there, plus we got some eagles by our side as well" replied Jordan. "Is it really okay for Luna to let Bullet come with us?"
"Luna wants us to have more security and heavy surveillance, so she's letting the Stellar's Sea Eagle tag along with the other five bald eagles" replied Lincoln. "This isn't the first time the young eagles have been into the woods, and chances Coach got an eagle house for all of them."
"So true." Then Jordan recalls something. "Luna gonna be okay with you not in the room?"
Lincoln sighs. "To be honest, I am kinda worried about her. I mean sure she has the room all to herself, but she might get upset about me not being there and worried about our well-being. She seemed chill that we're going, kinda like when we have a sleep over at one of our friend's house."
"But this sleep over is way farther than here in Royal Woods" replied Jordan. "And she might end up calling to check if you're alright."
"Yeah, but she said she can handle things, and if she does feel kinda lonely, then she can call me so we can talk" replied Lincoln. "She really does worry about me being someplace, I mean she was never like this back then, but now that she has her new responsibility. She really is clingy to keep me and you safe."
"Because we nearly got ourselves into deep trouble whenever someone tries to come back for revenge, and now we have a crazed and creepy, stalker-type rich girl who won't stop till she gets what she wants" replied Jordan. "So, she has the right to be over cautious with us, at least she's not like Clyde's dads."
"Speaking of Clyde, I heard he's planning on another hang out, or date with Chloe this Saturday" replied Lincoln. "He said he has tickets for Chloe and himself to watch "Operation Dessert Storm" which is coming here into Royal Woods."
Jordan chuckles. "Oh, looks like someone wants to show Chloe how sweet he can be. They're bound to enjoy their sugary moment watching they're fave show right in front of them. What are the odds those two might end up on the show?"
"If they do, then Clyde's dads are gonna have a heart attack, also I am planning a date for us on Friday" replied Lincoln. "With Leslie taking one week away from being a creepy planning maniac, I was thinking it would be a good idea for us to enjoy one day or night together, before she goes back to being her mean self and evil self."
"Now that sounds like a plan, and I know you got something special for just the two of us" replied Jordan. "And I wouldn't call Leslie evil, she's just a confused rich girl who has no clue what she's doing and has less time with her parents who are way too busy, I mean my parents spent so much time with me, that I'm the girl you see today. I had some good guidance and so did you."
"Because I have 5 older sisters who teach me and keep a close eye on my safety and curiosity" replied Lincoln. "I guess Leslie has no clue what she's doing and has no idea how to be a better person, but I don't know what to say about her friends, they seem less than understanding than she is, but two of them are loyal to listen to her and the other three are just delusional."
"Maybe one day, when the time is right. Leslie will see past her ways and perhaps be a better person and change, if not then she's just like the other delusional kids we faced, not easy to befriend and a lost cause to even give them a second chance" replied Jordan.
"Like when Luna gave Michelle Lewis a second chance, scratch that, when Luna and I have Michelle Lewis a second chance" replied Lincoln.
"True, she was given the second chance to freedom and redemption after she saw the error of her ways and away from the damned life she had being someone puppet to getting talent and being rich" replied Jordan. "She has come a long way from the enemy Luna once knew, and all it took was seeing how devoted you were when you….. Took that hit. Still haunts you?"
"Not really, that was all in the past and I like to look ahead of the past, but at times we have to look to the past to learn how to adapt in the future" replied Lincoln. "The past is the mistake, but we can find a way to evade it should the time arise in the future, that wasn't the only death experience and I know it won't be the last either."
"Yeah." Jordan feels worried about that, but she knows they can get through it. "Well, I should ride off now, we're close to your house." She rides close to Lincoln and they both share a quick kiss. "See you tomorrow handsome, we got some musical magic to make on stage!"
Lincoln chuckles. "I'll look forward to seeing that beautiful face of yours when tomorrow reaches the two of us, and we are going to rock and roll the whole event, like a high way to hell."
They both then split ways, Jordan rides off to her house, while Lincoln stops near his house and he lets his bike into the garage and he heads into the house and just in time for dinner.
But they did not know that a limo was following them and inside, Leslie's friends are bickering about what they said about them. Leslie on the other hand was thinkin and also upset. 'She thinks I'm misguided?! Me?! Oh, she has no idea how much hurt I am going to give to that braided ponytailed bitch! She is so going down and I will be the one to call Lincoln handsome and he will be the one to see that I am the only one beautiful for him!'
Leslie calms down and she looks to her bickering friends. "Idiots." She then looks to the driver. "Take us home, now!" They then drive off back to their neighboring rich area, all of them still bickering and talking about how they'll deal with both Lincoln Loud and Jordan Rosato.
(Skip, nighttime.)
Lincoln finishes his last text messages to Jordan, Liam and Tabby. He then places the phone onto the table and he goes to his guitar and checks for any signs of damage or anything needing replacement.
"You're looking good, tomorrow we'll be on stage and rockin' it out, though this isn't the first time we were on stage" replied Lincoln.
"True." Luna comes up from behind after using the rest room. "We did rock out when we were on the stage at the Mick Swagger tour and when we performed at Great Lake City, and let's not forget you and Jordan have done some performance from the Bangers n' Mosh all those months ago."
Lincoln chuckles and he puts his guitar away. "Yeah, and I know this talent show might not be the last, we also did perform when we were at the High School Prom."
Luna chuckles. "Oh man, how the heck did I forget that one? You dudes made that whole prom night the best for all of us. Chances you guys might do it again for next year."
"If that does happen, then Jordan and I will be ready, also do you think Tabby is gonna bring that helmet of hers to the talent show?" asked Lincoln.
"You mean the same one she brought and wore to the Mick Swagger tour? Chances she might, and a lot of teens and everyone at the middle school talent show might be stoked to see a memory of the past" replied Luna. "But enough of that, you need sleep so you can have the energy to perform for tomorrow."
They then go to Lincoln's bunk, Luna tucks him into bed. "Comfy bro?"
"Yeah." The Lincoln asks. "Sis, is it cool if you could…. Sing me a nice song, I could use one."
Luna smiles. "To my first ever fan, sure little bro." Luna then starts to sing "You'll be in my heart, by Phil Collins."
Soon, she sees Lincoln is fast asleep, but then she notices his hand is holding hers. Luna smiles and she lays next to him, she then pulls him close to her and she kisses his forehead which makes him hug her tighter. "Goodnight little bro, see you in the morning sweet child o'mine."
They both drift off to sleep, both of them looking forward to what the day has for them tomorrow, and tomorrow Lincoln and the others are going to rock and roll on stage, and show everyone just how far Luna's teaching has come to help Lincoln and Jordan play it loud with music as their talent.
To be continued….
A/N: Next chapter will be what we're waiting for, the big Royal Woods Middle School Talent Show and I thought of adding that last part, from the many other stories involving the sibling moments between Lincoln and Luna, I'm a sucker for that kind of stuff. Leave a review and tell me what you all think.
Date made: 9/1/20.
