Chapter 344.
In collaboration with avenger44, this one is gonna be what's happening with Lincoln's big sister and some other family members, back in good old Royal Woods. Enjoy folks!
(Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore Camping grounds.)
Another glorious day for everyone in the camping grounds and Lincoln along with Simon come out and see Clyde and Chloe along with the Rock and Coach Keck have made everyone breakfast. Then Jordan and Stella go to Lincoln and Simon.
"Good morning boys, dream about us last night?" asked Stella, she and Jordan giggle at their own words.
Lincoln and Simon chuckle. "Well, I guess I did and I think it was our future and god dang it, I really wanna be part of it" replied Simon,
Stella kisses his cheek. "You're too sweet Sharp, or far sharper than the sharpest knife in the kitchen."
Jordan then kisses Lincoln's cheek. "So, how about you handsome? Dream of the future?"
Lincoln chuckles. "No, not really. I was just kinda dreaming at random on the many times we've spent alongside Luna, and that kinda gets me wondering. I wanna know how Luna and the others have been doing back home without us."
Jordan can tell, he's upset with how Luna is doing and she can't blame him, she's also worried about Luna as well. "Linc, Luna's fine. She would've called you by now if she was worried or lonely, and I know she wouldn't wanna ruin our fun time and want us to spend more time far from her, remember that even though she's far from us."
"She'll always be one call away" replied Lincoln. "Yeah, she told me that and I know I can call her and the others, but I don't wanna ruin what they're doing too. I just wanna hear my big sister's voice and feel calm when you two are around, it feels natural, like an awesome family who know how a romantic and a sibling bond works."
Jordan, Simon and Stella know, that when it comes to Lincoln and Luna, it gets emotional and they don't want him to feel depressed and homesick just because they spend more than two days there. He needs some fun time, away from Royal Woods.
"Linc, Luna has company with her. Remember that my big sis is staying at your place to keep an eye on Lunes and sure enough she would've called us if something was wrong right?" asked Simon.
Lincoln does recall this and through it, he calms down. "Yeah, yeah that is true. I just wish Luna would've called me about what was happening, I really miss my big sister. But, I know I have to stay strong and learn how to handle things even without her and I don't mean taking down our old enemy's kind."
They all smile hearing this as they walk to the others who are eating breakfast. "That's the Lincoln Loud we all know" replied Stella.
Jordan then kisses his cheek. "How about you call her tonight, it's not wrong to be the one to make the first call."
Lincoln thinks about this and he knows Luna would never be mad at him calling. "Yeah, yeah I can do that tonight. We can spend the whole day having fun here, and tonight I can call Luna and see what she and the others have been doing…. Without us."
Jordan and Lincoln share a passionate kiss. "That's the spirit, now come on. We need energy to spend for this whole day! Because I feel like parasailing."
Lincoln chuckles. "Okay, but I'm with the Rock on the speed boat."
"Guys, where the heck are the eagles?" asked Simon, then he sees them. "Oh, never mind there they are."
The Six Eagles are looking to the sleeping bear and Bullet is using a stick to draw around the bear on the ground and making the shape of the bear sleeping, the other eagle's chuckle, but then Bullet is knocked away by accident from Toby's large paw. Ouch! Classic Toby.
(Royal Woods Middle School.)
The school bell rings and the music club room is done for the day and the place has been cleaned up, Sam says goodbye to Sully and Mazzy, as they are the last ones who leave the room. Sam turns around and sees Luna is putting her axe away, and looks kinda upset.
Sam knows she misses her brother being in town and having to check up on him when he and Jordan are in trouble. "Lunes, you ready to head on home now?"
Luna gets up with her guitar case and her lyric notebook. "Yeah, yeah. You're gonna be headed home later right?"
"Yup, my mom wants to spend some time with me, in the form of cooking" replied Sam. "I mean, sure I can cook, but it would be nice to learn some more advanced cooking and maybe try to fix up on my baking. I mean, you seem to be good at baking."
Luna chuckles. "Well, I was bad at it, and now I'm not, and all thanks to some motivating words from my… My little bro, oh and my dad, even though he won't stop making kitchen puns and awkward tunes that make little to know sense when it's put into song. How the heck am I gonna make meatloaf into a song, there is a band called meatloaf, but I doubt I can make a song about meatloaf."
Sam goes over and she hugs Luna. "Luna, I know your upset about Lincoln not being here, but just know that he's not too far and you'll see him again when Saturday hits, you did place down an alarm to your phone for that one, remember?"
Luna smiles. "Yeah, I did. I'm gonna wake up early, get myself changed up, grab some takeout breakfast through one of the new fast food restaurants and then head for Sleeping Bear Dunes Camping Grounds and pick up Lincoln and Jordan, and we head on home."
Sam smiles hearing this. "See? That's the spirit, put some of that Luna Loud flare into the plan, with a hint of Lincoln's planning into the mix. Heck, he'd be proud at what you've planned out."
"Yeah, he would. Also, thank goodness Linc as fine on that dune buggy with the Rock" replied Luna. "At least Jordan have him an awesome time, despite him being kinda not able to do much walking."
"Well, Jordan wants Lincoln to enjoy the fun of being there and she wasn't gonna let him get bored, and I'm sure she has a plan to keep Silver out of it" replied Sam.
"Yeah, you're right. Thanks for this talk Sammy, I really needed it" replied Luna.
Sam kisses her cheek. "Anytime. Also, don't forget to call Lincoln if you're feeling down and low, it's not wrong to at least call him, he'll understand and do his part to make you feel alright." Sam checks the time. "Well, I should go back to my place and have some mother and daughter time, see you when I'm done."
Luna waves goodbye to Sam as she leaves and then Luna looks to the bracelet she has from the birthday last week and she sighs. 'Should I call Lincoln? I don't wanna ruin whatever fun he's having.'
(The Loud House.)
Luna's Ferrari arrives and she heads for the house, she sees Charles and Cliff are both watching as Walt's and Della are getting lots of stuck things out of the tree and Geo has a list of what to do while the eagles are away.
'Looks like the pets are doing some of the everyday routines the eagles do, that's nice of them and also where the heck did they get that list from?' Tenth on the list, check for anything that got lost in the trees, you never know who tossed something out of the window by mistake.
Luna heads into the house and she sees the twins headed to the living room to watch some TV and then she spots Lynn doing her homework in the dining room and Lisa is helping her solve some of it, and also tutoring her. Lynn has a test on Friday.
"Hey dudes, where are the others?" asked Luna.
"Mom is still at the daycare and keeping an eye on Lily, and Michelle is out getting the groceries with Jordan's mom" replied Lola. "No clue where Lucy is."
"Luan went to a gig at Spunk E. Pigeons, they're animatronics are broken and they need some entertainment for the kids, and she said she brought her boyfriend Benny and for some reason her Goth friend, was her name Maggie?" asked Lana.
"Her name is Maggie, and yes she joined in because they're friends." Everyone was startled from the presence of Lucy. "Sorry guys, also I was on the couch when you two came to watch TV."
They all calm down from her sudden jump scare. "And we are busy with something else here" replied Lisa as she then continues to tutor her sports sister.
"And where the heck is Leni at?" asked Luna.
"Leni's upstairs, she got a week off from work, so she can be able to spend some time to herself or with us, or at the mall, but chances she'll wanna head back and help out" replied Lucy. "Why're you asking?"
"I just need to talk to her" replied Luna. She then heads upstairs and the others watch and have some worry. They know she's been upset and kinda lonely since Lincoln isn't around, heck even they're kinda upset and also worried. He's at camp and so is Jordan and Leslie Silver and her mean friends are also there, what's not to worry about?
Luna knocks onto the door of her older sister. "It's unlocked" replied Leni from the other side.
Luna comes in and she sees Leni finishing up a gown she was making for the past few days. "Whoa dude. That is mazing and when did you make this?"
"Oh this awesome ball gown? Well, when I got word from Mrs. Carmichael that I have the week off, I decided to go to one of the projects I was planning to make and so I made this beauty, and it only took me since Monday to finish and she is looking fabulous!" said Leni.
Luna chuckles. "Nice to see you taking advantage of this week off from work and I know you got lots to do sis, I just wanna talk."
"Oh, well okay." Leni puts her things away and she sits onto her bed and so does Luna. "What seems to be the problem sis?"
Luna sighs. "I know you and the others have been noticing how down I've been since Lincoln headed off to that camping grounds place, and not gonna lie, but I know we're all worried, me mostly."
Leni can see where this was going. "Luna, I know how you feel, heck we all do. But, just know that Lincoln's in good hands, you did say the Rock was there and sure enough he can keep him and everyone safe from that mean rich girl and her friends and with Jordan by his side, he'll be fine. Even with crutches, you know how Lincoln is when he doesn't wanna give up, even in the true face of danger."
"And that's what worries me Leni" replied Luna. "Normally, he would stay a week in bed to heal his cast, but he's out there and he's walking around in the cast with crutches and chances he could get hurt. With that cast on him, his speed isn't as fast as he normally is and that concerns me so, so much!"
Leni rubs her rocker sister's back to calm her down. "Luna, did you call him yet?"
"N-No, I don't wanna ruin whatever fun he's having, but I am planning to call him, maybe tonight before we snooze off" replied Luna.
"Then ask him what he's been doing and how are things there, you know he'll be honest with you and help calm you down" replied Leni. "You and Lincoln are the closest siblings amongst all of us and sure as heck, he wouldn't wanna see his best big sis in deep depression and junk. No matter how far away he is, he'll always have your back and you'll have his and the same goes for Jordan."
Luna sheds some tears, but she wipes them away and she hugs Leni. "Thanks, thanks big sis. I guess I needed some talk from my GF and big sister to help me, I just hope I can get through till the end of this week."
Leni hugs Luna and does her best to calm her down. "You will sis, you will. Once Lincoln's voice is heard from you, then I know you can pull through until you have to go and get him and Jordan, you're strong in your own way, and that way is being there to keep our little bro safe and make sure he's as his happiest moments just as we all are."
They then break from the hug. "Having you as the new boss sister, kinda makes good times with talks and comfort. You're doing awesome sis and Lori would be proud of you."
"Thanks, I have to make sure all my siblings are happy and fine" replied Leni.
They then hear a van arrive and they look outside and see the Rosato van and coming out is Michelle Lewis. "Well, looks like she's back from the groceries, let's help her out" said Luna. They both head downstairs and they see the rest of their sisters checking and helping with the things she bought.
"I got what was on the list and made sure it was all in tip top shape and good condition, let's get this stuff in the fridge" replied Michelle. "Also, we ran into Peter Harris at the place."
"What? Did he bump onto you and you both fell?" asked Lynn Jr with a slight chuckle.
Michelle Lewis just stops and looks to nothing and has red on her face. Lana notices this and so do the others. "Michelle, are you alright?"
She then snaps out of it. "What? Oh yeah, I'm chill. Now, come on let's get this stuff into the fridge and cabinets and later your mom with Lily will be back soon, she texted me earlier."
They all know something is up, though some of them just shrug it off. Luna and Leni can tell something was up and they need to talk to Michelle to know what's wrong.
(Later in the day.)
Luna and Leni see Michelle folding up the clothes in the basement and then turning off the washing machine, so they both head down and talk to her. Michelle notices them. "Hey girls, anything you need? Also, I made sure the blouse you made was washed thoroughly and folded neatly."
"That's nice and all, but we wanna talk to you about what happened to you today" said Leni. "We know something unexpected happened between you and Peter Harris, what was it?"
Michelle turns red hearing this and chuckles nervously. "What? No, no. There's nothing wrong, we just bumped into each other and we… Went our separate ways and I met up with Jesse and we finished the shopping, nothing else happened."
"Dude, your face is as bright red as someone crushing over…." Luna then realizes something and so does Leni. "Dude, do you like him?"
Michelle turns even redder than before. "Umm, no."
Leni feels like screaming, but it would bring the others down, so she calms down. "Michelle, you can tell us, we won't tell the others. We just wanna know, what the heck happened at the Grocery store?"
Michelle knows there is no getting away from this, so she sighs and she sits onto some chairs and so does Leni and Luna.
"Okay, so Jesse and I went into the place and we decided to go separately with the shopping. I finished like 15 minutes of shopping and was about to make a turn and then I bumped into Jordan's godfather and the things we got fell, luckily it wasn't the fragile ones. He helped me and I helped him and when we grabbed the same box…. Our hands kinda, touched."
The very story from this was building up feelings within Luna and Leni to squeal with glee.
"We looked at each other for a few minutes, and then we let go and he gave me the box and I put it into the cart and I was about to slip on an orange and he caught me and it was…. kinda awkward and so he helped me back up, and then we both slipped from a wet floor and he was on top of me and his right hand….. Was on my chest."
That last part was enough to shock Leni and Luna. "What?"
Michelle gathers all the courage she can to continue. "He got off and I got back up and we looked away and we walked away with our stuff and we didn't speak about it. Heck Jesse even asked what happened when she heard something, so I said someone slipped earlier."
Luna and Leni then look to her with comfort. "Well, chances you might like him, even though it was an awkward encounter and chances he might like you dude" replied Luna.
Michelle sighs. "I don't know, I mean he did hate me but that was back when I was a bad person and he seems to be less of a mean kinda guy towards me and his hat is always cool when he wears it, his laugh the way he speaks in his western origin and the way he…." Michelle stops and realizes. "Oh good lord I do like him."
"And there's the kicker, now we know it'll be a long while before you can talk to him, so take your time and be patient and chances he'll come and talk to you" replied Leni.
Michelle thinks about this. "I don't know girls, I mean I do like that guy, but I have so many things to do. I have to help you and the family and still in service with my punishment."
"Then don't think about it dude" replied Luna. "Sure you still have community service, but it doesn't mean you can't spend some time with other people, have fun and find love."
Michelle sighs. "I'm not sure girls, I don't think love is on my agenda right now. But, if what you girls think is a good idea, maybe I can wait and then I can talk to him, or he might talk to me, I mean he does have my number, but he's' supposed to use it when I'm needed for something or when some of you guys are in trouble."
Leni and Luna place they hand onto her shoulder. "Give it some time to think, and when you do feel like it, then go for it" replied Leni.
"You're secret is safe with us dude, we won't tell anyone else about it. Unless you're cool with Lincoln and Jordan knowing" replied Luna.
Michelle smiles. "Thanks girls, I will think about it and I don't mind if the Jordacoln knows, I trust them too and I also trust Sam with this, but I don't want the others to know, otherwise it could spiral out of control real fast."
"You have our word Michelle, we won't tell anyone else about this" replied Leni.
What they don't know, Lucy heard them and smiles. 'And you have my word too Michelle.'
(Nighttime, Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore Camping grounds.)
Luna chuckles on her top bunk as she uses her phone to video chat. "So, you and Jordan managed to evade a pie trap from Silver?"
Lincoln: We did and the pie went directly to her friends who were hiding at a nearby bush, they tried to get the drop on us and it failed miserably and chances she'll try something else, again, but we'll be prepare and ready.
Luna smirks. "Well, serves them right, also what the heck was in the pie?"
Lincoln: Well, to the fact they were sent to be tended to the pie effects, poison ivy and they said they stumbled onto some as they were hiking, we decided not to tell, we know they'll be up to something else that could be the kicker into getting them into some serious trouble.
Luna sighs. "Glad you and Jordan managed to get out of the mess, also what the heck are you laying on? Some kind of furry blanket?"
Lincoln: Oh, Toby the sleepy bear is in our cabin and on my bed and I'm cool with it, he's pretty comfy and he doesn't seem to mind. They then hear the bear snore and yawn, and Lincoln chuckles. Classic Toby.
"Well, I'm happy your safe and sound and hearing your voice I what I needed, and I hope you can continue staying safe and strong, till I come by on Saturday to get you and Jordan" replied Luna.
Lincoln: Yeah, I look forward to seeing you again too sis, sometimes it feels kinda lonely with you and the rest of the family not being around, but I can handle going through the following more days to come and wait, then we can see each other again sis.
Luna smirks. "Same here, well I should get some sleep now and Sam is out like a light." She then tucks herself in.
Lincoln: Same here, got a big day ahead of me and Simon is like Sam right now, also out like a light. That's a lot of energy spent on swimming today and he enjoyed it. Well, goodnight sis, see you soon and I love you Luna.
Luna smiles and she kisses the screen. "Luna loves you too little bro, goodnight Lincoln."
They both hang up and then get into bed, okay so Lincoln is on the bear, but you guys get the idea.
Luna places her phone next to her and she calms down and looks to her bracelet and smiles. "See you soon little brother, when the end of this week reaches and we're in each other's company once more."
Day 3 to the 5 day stay in Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore Camping grounds.
