Chapter 349.
(October 5, Royal Woods Middle School.)
Lincoln walks down the halls and he opens his locker and he then thinks. 'Hmm, Liam's birthday is on the 11th, and I should get him something to show that our friendship is strong and still going, what should I give the farm kid?'
He then grabs his books and then has an idea. 'Hmm, maybe something that we could both see as our way of showing we're the same, something we both did and the best way to look for it is through…. The FutureTech surveillance system!'
Lincoln then closes his locker and then gets tackled and kissed on the cheek by Jordan, and when I mean kissed, I mean constant non-stop kissing barrage. "Okay, okay. I give up, I give up, what the heck?"
Lincoln chuckles and Jordan let's go. "Sorry, I couldn't help myself, had to do this to show how much I still love you and that we'll always be eternal when our lives continue" replied Jordan.
Lincoln smirks. "Alright, did you watch the Twilight Saga with your friends?"
"Umm, no I didn't. But, if you wanna join in the next time we have that chance to watch a movie, then I'll let you pick the film" replied Jordan.
Lincoln chuckles. "Okay, so the next time we have a movie watch-a-thon, then it's Twilight. I know its October and all, but I'm in no mood to be scared early by some horror-fest. Okay, so Lucy and Haiku and the Young Morticians Club would join in for that one."
"That's true." They get startled as Haiku walks by them. "Also, there's something you guys have to check out at the board not too far from here."
Lincoln and Jordan are confused by this and they go over to the news board somewhere in the halls. But first, Lincoln had to lock his locker and then head out, but they had no clue that Leslie was watching this and was steaming red.
"That no good braided haired punk girl Jordan! She thinks she can do that to my lover?! She has another thing coming!" Leslie is so ticked off, her notebook is steaming.
Leslie, stop before the fire alarm goes off and we're all in trouble for starting a fire" replied Gretchen.
"How is it possible for Leslie to even start a fire without even using a lighter, match or butler?" asked Hope. They then see Lincoln and Jordan walk off while holding hands. "Oh right, she needs to fuel her hatred to start a spark that helps ignite the fire and then it spreads into trouble, either for us or for someone else."
"So, when are we going on with this plan of ours?" asked Karen. "I am feeling bored!"
Leslie looks to her friends and she shuts her locker. "Tomorrow, tomorrow is when we do it and tomorrow is when I make that Rosato girl feel my wrath and I take Lincoln and we take this town!" She then walks off. "Now come on!"
They all follow Leslie. "Dang. Never seen her this steamed off" replied Regina.
Lincoln and Jordan then make it to where the school news is posted and they see the flier and the names that have been signed. "Royal Woods Middle School, School Exchange Program – Spend one day in another school and see how well it is and if you feel like it, then you might get the chance to go there instead."
"Huh, so what school are we exchanging with?" asked Jordan.
Then Principal Ramirez arrives. "That would be Mapleton Middle School, which is all the way in Ontario, Canada and the man who runs it is Principal Marshall. He also looks forward to this program for tomorrow and they have a big game tomorrow as well."
"Huh, let's see who signed up" said Lincoln. He and Jordan look to see who have signed up.
They look to the names and are shocked. Liam, Tabby, Stella, Simon, Sadie, Mollie, Polly, Rusty, Flat Tire and Jenny.
"Huh, did not see that one coming." then Lincoln has an idea. "What do you say darling? Wanna be part of a new school for the day?"
Jordan thinks about it. "Hmm, a place that's cold, has syrup in the pancakes twenty-four-seven, chances we'll take a caribou to school and a lot of ice hockey. Heck I am so in, there's gonna be a heck of an adventure for us when we get to the Great White north!"
They then sign they're names. Principal Ramirez smiles. "Well, the boat to Canada leaves at 4 in the morning, which means you kids have to be there early."
"No need, I'll tell my family about this and they'll be chill about it and we got some early access transport in case we cold out the boat" replied Lincoln, then he realizes something. "Was I being mean with those cold puns?"
"Not quite sure, but just a little heads up. Do not say you do not want syrup on your pancakes, it's very mean and almost in away racist to them, well I guess to the folks of Mapleton City, just be careful and we'll do our part in making sure Silver and her friends are watched over and not causing trouble" replied Principal Ramirez.
"Noted. Also, while we're gone, chances the patrols will be doubled and there might be some stealth forces watching Leslie's every move and the same goes with her friends, so trouble won't spark" replied Jordan. "We're not gonna leave Royal Woods defenseless against a rich new evil."
"Well, I'll leave you kids be. I need to talk to Meryl about the whole situation with the lunch today. I had meat loaf last night and I do not want it for lunch." Principal Ramirez then heads off back to her office.
Lincoln and Jordan then walk back to their next class, which is with Mrs. Salter.
"So, the whole tackle me thing, what was all that about earlier? Because when you do that, it means you have news for me" said Lincoln.
"Oh right, well I did some research last night and I was talking to my parents this morning and they agreed to have the house renovated into something big, almost mansion-like" replied Jordan.
Lincoln is shocked by this. "Whoa what?! Wow! That was fast, and to think many months ago you had your home renovated and now you're doing it again. Why?"
"Leslie and her friends are a total threat and she'll go to any lengths to break us apart and sure as heck she'll try and go after my home and my family" replied Jordan. "So, the site I went to was from FutureTech and they are putting up some modification to mansions they trust with respect and sure as heck they trust me and the upgrades are out of this world!"
Lincoln smirks. "Well, I can't wait to see it. When does construction begin?"
"Right now, they're doing the work as we speak and sure as heck they can do it… Well not as fast as last time with the last renovations, but the whole shindig will be up and running by Wednesday, which means I need a place to stay while they upgrade everything" replied Jordan.
"Well, my house is always open to you, what about you're parents though?" asked Lincoln.
"Oh, well no need to worry about them. They said they're gonna be at the house while it's getting renovated, they're room isn't gonna be neighboring the parts that will be patched up for improvements. It's just the ones near my room that are getting changes and Ajax has to come with me of course" replied Jordan.
"Looks like my sisters have another reason to enjoy your company, as usual" replied Lincoln.
Jordan chuckles. "Yeah, I do wanna see if Leni might do some make overs with me while I stay at you're place and I also wanna hang out with Luan, Luna and possibly beat Lynn at some of her sports."
"Well, for the next three days you will get the chance and I only assume that you're things are at my house already?" asked Lincoln.
Jordan giggles. "You know me too well loud, yes they are, since I know you'll let me stay over. Also, one thing we need to handle, what happens when we tell our folks and family about what we're gonna do tomorrow?"
Lincoln then recalls that one. "Huh, well let's hope they don't freak out. Mostly Luna, and Leni, and mom, and dad, and Lucy, and…. Well, everyone else. What about your parents?"
"Well, dad did go to Canada once and he knows they're nice and not much into violence, except a bit rowdy when it comes to they're one true sport, hockey" replied Jordan. "I'm shocked they didn't have this for Lynn when she was in Middle School, she'd be so jealous right now."
"Yeah, we can only hope things won't go way too crazy when we get back to the loud house, like from Luna. Even though it's always crazy in the loud house" replied Lincoln. "So, tell me what these upgrades to your house are?"
Jordan then walks ahead of him. "Nope, that's for when the whole renovations are done and we have a pool party and sleep over."
Lincoln chuckles and he catches up with her. "Have it your way my love, have it your way." He then follows her and they head for their classroom. But deep down, they were both concerned. 'Will Royal Woods be okay with us gone for the day and Silver and her friends being here?'
(The Loud House.)
"What?!"
Lincoln and Jordan then remove their headphones. "Yup, it got crazy real fast" replied Lincoln.
They watch as their parents are confused, all the sisters (except Luna) are starting to talk some nonsense which turns into bickering, the eagles are just looking back and forth at the arguing loud kids and Michelle Lewis has fainted for some reason.
Then they see Luna and the deadpan look she has, this makes Lincoln feel uncomfortable, but then Luna looks to the others and she grabs Lynn's whistle and blows on it, this gets everyone's attention.
"You dudes done yelling like nonsense?" asked Luna in annoyance, they all remain silent. "Good!"
Luna then goes over to Lincoln and Jordan's level and she places her hands onto their shoulders. "You dudes wanna do this…. To explore a new place, and try new things, with or without the people you know and love and even though they won't be there for ya, you guys can trust things will be alright with you two gone. Am I right?"
Lincoln and Jordan nod. "We know this is all so sudden and quick, but we want to go and check out this place. To see if it's good or not, or to just enjoy what classes other countries have and the best way to experience this is through the one country ours is neighboring and that's Canada" replied Jordan.
"Also, we're not gone for the whole day" said Lincoln. "We leave earlier than 4, leave Michigan at 4 and then come back home around 4 or 5 and then that's it, done and done. Though, chances we will be attending this hockey game."
This gets Lynn Jr's attention and she goes to them. "Any chances I can sneak in with you two?"
Then Leni drags her away. "No Lynn, we're not gonna have to see you get into trouble and possibly end up in juvie for crossing the border and not being a student for the program."
"Dang it. Why didn't I have that kind of thing while I was still in Middle School" grumbled Lynn Jr.
Then Lincoln has an idea. "Lynn, how about Jordan and I with Polly live stream their game and you can watch it from your phone?"
Lynn thinks about it. "Huh, that does sound like a good idea. Abut only if I can have my gals come over and watch as well."
"Deal." Lincoln, Jordan and Lynn shake hands.
Lynn Sr sighs. "Well, looks like I'm gonna have tons of meatball subs to make tomorrow night."
Lucy sighs and looks to Luan and Leni. "Can I bunk with you two tomorrow night? I am not bunking with her if she has an all-out marathon after eating meatball subs."
"The linen closet still has a bed, you can bunk there and enjoy isolation like a corpse would wanna die for" replied Luan. "It would be a cold chance to have before it's dug into the ground for good!" She then chuckles.
Lucy thinks about this. "Huh, I guess I'll take it. Better than spending one night with Lynn going at it with her constant farts."
Lisa goes to Lincoln and Jordan. "Try not to make things hard on the both of you when tomorrow hits. Be warned for ice and any signs of…."
"Lisa, it's gonna be snowy and we know what we're doing and plus we'll have some air transport just in case and eagles can withstand the cold weather and I think it's time for the young feathered trio to fly someplace without their parents" replied Jordan.
The three eagles look to their parents Patriot and Valkyrie and they both nod and go over and hug their eagle younglings and of course Bullet joins in. They're okay with Harrier, Artemis and Freya going with Lincoln and Jordan to the great white north and this is a good chance for them to learn heavy duty winter survival skills.
Lisa smiles and hugs Lincoln. "Very well then, I was just being cautious with your well-beings."
The Twins then go to them. "If you're going to Canada, you think you can see if they have pageants there?" asked Lola.
"If you guys do ride a reindeer, can you guys bring one home? Please?!" asked Lana.
Lincoln and Jordan chuckle. "Okay first off, we won't have time to check out all of Mapleton and secondly, they have Caribou and chances we can't bring one home. Understand girls?"
Lola and Lana nod and sigh. "We understand." they then hug Lincoln, then Lola speaks. "You're so lucky to go someplace with snow." then Lana drags her away before she starts complaining about snowy fun at another school.
Luan and Leni also go to them. "If you guys go there, do not be rude or something troublesome but we know you guys are better than that" replied Leni.
"Also, don't make any jokes about Canada, we don't want the best of Royal Woods young eagle champ lovers to go into the cold one" replied Luan. "But seriously, don't make any puns or jokes about Canada, it's a mark of racism."
"We won't" replied Lincoln and Jordan.
Then Lucy goes over. "Tell me if there are myths about vampires living there, I wanna know."
Lincoln and Jordan are confused. "Okay, so which movie did you watch that involved vampires and Canada?" asked Jordan.
"Haiku told me and I think it was something called 30 days of nights or something, I forgot the title" replied Lucy. "I'll ask her later what it was called."
Lincoln and Jordan are kinda puzzled by this, but they know this is Lucy being herself. "Well, we'll see what we can find in their libraries" replied Jordan. "We can't promise we can find any answers."
Then the parents go over. "Okay, so the two of you are going to Canada first thing at the early morning, like way before 4, which means shower, breakfast and then changing real fast, but we know you guys can make it through some kind of transportation from the allied base or that Battlecruiser in the sky, right?" asked Rita.
"We do mom and it's not gonna be an issue and when we have time, we'll pick up our other pals and gals who're also headed there with us" replied Lincoln.
"Looks like I have to set my alarm for tomorrow, or chances Michelle will, once she wakes up" said Lynn Sr. they see Rick and Jesse trying to wake up the unconscious woman and Lily is also helping wake up Michelle by sticking her pacified into the woman's mouth and she giggles.
"We trust Jordan and Lincoln on this trip, they're strong and we can handle the renovations to the house" replied Jesse.
"Canada may be cold, but we know those two have warm hearts that can truly touch through toughness and show kindness when they get there" replied Rick. "There's no way some snow storm is gonna put their love on cold and thin ice."
They all look to Rick confused at what he just said, but Luan chuckles and she's planning to use those words for her next comedy gig.
"Okay, well we have all that covered and also did Sam tell you that Simon and Stella are also going?" asked Lincoln to Luna.
Luna nods. "She did and I kinda guessed you two would do this as well. You two can be adventurous at times and also wanna try some new stuff, and I know you two can handle the Canadian School and that it's not for a day, unlike me worrying about you dudes at the five day stay at Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore Camping Grounds."
"You're both growing up and I can respect that, so when tomorrow comes. I'll be the one to try and wake you both from slumber so you can trek to the other school in the early of morning and right before the light hits the roof."
Lincoln and Jordan smile and they hug Luna, they were happy that all of them were all in on this and they know Lori will be shocked and proud at what Lincoln and Jordan did, when they do a video chat with her or she comes by to visit which will be on Lincoln's birthday.
They then depart from the hug. "Now, can you guys tell us what's this about the Rosato home getting renovated?" asked Luna. The others also wanna know.
"Huh, I guess we forgot to mention that one" replied Rick. "We have a lot to talk about."
Then Michelle wakes up and she spits out the pacifier. "What the? Whoa. I had this crazy dream that Lincoln and Jordan are going to Canada tomorrow? Weird right?"
"You were not hallucinating Michelle. Lincoln and Jordan are going to the Middle School Exchange Program tomorrow at, Mapleton Middle School in Ontario, Canada" replied Lisa.
"Oh." Michelle then faints again.
"Well, looks like someone is out cold from this chilling news! Hahahaha! Get it?" said Luan.
Lincoln and Jordan chuckle from that, they know that tomorrow is gonna be big, but they don't know how big it's gonna get when they head to Canada for the first time.
