Around the purple unicorn the surprise party could be seen in full swing with ponies talking among them, confetti falling from the ceiling and on and all having a good time.
"uhh SURPRISE PARTY!" cried Pinkie pie "maybe this is what Twilight needs to not be such a grumpy horse all the time"
"Pony" corrected Sunset.
"Still those are a lot of ponies" mentioned Lyra "wonder who invited them?"
"Umm good question" said Bon Bon "Twilight is new to town of I don't think she knows any of those ponies umm" thought for a moment before turning to Sunset "unless ponies do welcome parties to anyone?"
"Not that I know actually" the red and orange head answered. Of course, it's not like she has been in many parties in the past but still…
"Plus, you are wrong Bon Bon" said Pinkie pie before pointing to the screen "look there is Minuette, and Twilight do know her"
"Hey its true" said Rainbow "it's the same pony from when Twilight was invited in the beginning"
"So she actually lives in Ponyville or she made a trip there too?" asked Rarity.
However before anyone could answer.
"Uh uh look, look" Derpy suddenly said exited "I'm there too" she pointed to the background where everyone could see a gray, blond maned Pegasus with bubbles for cutie mark.
"Hey it's true that pony looks like you" said Lyra before realizing something "hey besty look there" she pointed to a cream-colored earth pony with a swirly grape and pink main "it's you!"
"You think so?" wondered her friend "I do can see some similarities" she also focused on the screen "and if she is there then you must be...there!" she pointed to a sea green unicorn "I would recognize my bestie anywhere and I be that her" she said giving Lyra a side look smiling at her.
"I wonder if someone else is there?"
"Like me?"
"The great and powerful Trixie! …Can't see herself"
With that, other students tried to see if they could spot their pony counterparts among the mob.
The pink pony, who dashed away so quickly upon first seeing Twilight, popped her head into view to address her.
"Surprise! Hi. I'm Pinkie Pie, and I threw this party just for you!" the pink pony introduced herself hopping around, talking with a cheerful, energetic, and slightly hyperactive-sounding voice "Were you surprised? Were you, were you? Huh? Huh? Huh?"
"Yeah that's Pinkie Pie alright" said Rainbow Dash.
"Hello other me! Nice to finally meet you" called Pinkie pie waving at the screen "and I was really surprised so yeah I think you did a great job with hat party and lets hope this turn Twilight into a more happy pony"
"Very surprised. Libraries are supposed to be quiet" said Twilight showing both confusion and shock in her tone.
"That's silly" Pinkie giggled leaning on Twilight "What kind of welcome party would this be if it were quiet? I mean, duh! Booooring!" shaking her head Twiligh began walking away with Pinkie Pie following her closely.
"I know right…no one want boring quiet party" asked Pinkie pie "weeeeeeelllllll unless you are a mime…I mean mimes are always so quiet and don't said anything so I suppose a mime party do would be quiet and no one would laugh at my jokes...wait! No that's not true they do would laugh only I wouldn't hear it cause they are, you know, mimes but if no one hear laugh how you know they are actually laughing?"
"I don't think that's the issue here miss pie" Miss Cheerilee said " I think she is more concerned about a bunch of ponies suddenly making a party inside a library" turn to glare at the CMC "something is not only against the rules but also really annoying"
"You see, I saw you when you first got here, remember? You were all, "Hello," and I was all— (Gasp.) Remember? You see, I never saw you before, and if I never saw you before, that means you're new." Twilight groaned as she tried her best to ignore the pink pony "'Cause I know everypony, and I mean everypony, in Ponyville"
As Pinkie kept going at top speed, poking her head into/out of view from all angles, both reached a refreshment table with red and green bottles; where Twilight took a red bottle in her teeth and poured its contents into a waiting glass
" And if you're new, it meant you hadn't met anyone yet, and if you haven't met anyone yet, you must not have any friends, And if you don't have any friends, then you must be lonely, and that made me so sad. And I had an idea, and that's why I went Gasp." Pinkie continued her tale while the purple unicorn finished pouring her drink and began sipping through a straw.
"Ok seriously how much sugar that pony ate to be like that?" Trixie asked quite annoyed at the pink pony winning her the glare of both Rainbow Dash and Sunset.
"Hehehe this actually bring me some memories from your junior years miss pie" said Celestia with a smile.
"You mean finding balloons somehow inside lockers? or she breaking into songs every time a new student or professor come to school? Or the random surprise cries every time it was someone´s birthday?" asked Luna with a glare.
"Oh come on Luna are you still angry for that one incident?" asked Celestia trying to sound professional but having to hold back a laugh.
"You call it that but it wasn't your office the one covered in glitter and pink paint" the vice-principal huffed (and fulminate with her eyes anyone who in earshot giggled).
"Well on the good side you got a nice cake" tried Celestia only to win back a glare.
"That you proceed to quote on quote confiscate as evidence while I delivered detention" taping her foot and crossing her arms the blue haired woman made her older sister giggle nervously.
"Well…ehem…bottom line, miss Pie certainly showed how good she was at making parties and we managed to canalize that into more…controlled situations"
"AKA make this awesome party gal the responsible for all the celebrations in school" said Rainbow Dash side hugging her friend who simple giggle and accepted the hug.
"And since then we haven't had a boring festivity in school" added Flash Sentry winning a cheer from the rest of the students.
"I should throw a great big, ginormous, super-duper spectacular welcome party and invite everyone in Ponyville!" Pinkie finished with Applejack, Fluttershy, Rainbow, and Rarity quickly gathering around her "See? And now you have lots and lots of friends!"
"Well other world or not…it seems we always end up being friends" said Applejack seeing the 5 pony counterparts of her and her friends reuniting behind Twilight.
" I certainly hope so" said Rarity hugging the country girl "I can NOT imagine not being friends with any of you"
"Same, cant think of anyone more awesome to be friends with that you" said Rainbow Dash while Fluttershy give them a smile.
"Yeah friends forever and anywhere!" said Pinkie pie appearing behind Applejack and Rarity hugging the two.
Everyone smiled at the group feeling a warm happy sensation at seeing the close 5 friends.
Sunset also smiled feeling a bit bad for being the cause of such nice friendship to had split out for a time. However before she could say anything or just continue the video Applejack called up at her.
"Well what are you waiting sugar cube?" she said extending a hand at her.
"Me?" the red head couldn't help but ask.
"Yeah silly we cant have a group hug without all the group" Pinkie pie called.
With a small smile Sunset walked to then and soon found herself being in the center of the hug; sandwiched between Applejack and Rarity, with Pinkie pie at her back and with Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy in front.
The rest of the school smiled at the hugging group and let them for a minute before continuing the video.
Suddenly Twilight's eyes popped as big as dinner plates and she turned to face the group, her face suddenly beet-red with bulging cheeks and streaming eyes due to the effects of her drink.
"Are you all right, sugar cube?" Applejack asked in worry, before Twilight jumped up with steam whistling from her ears, her mane and tail briefly turning to flames, and zipped off at top speed.
"Aww, she's so happy she's crying!" Pinkie said getting a round of puzzled looks from the rest
Spike picked up the bottle and regards its label.
" Hot sauce."
"Rainbow Dash!" Called Rarity noticing her rainbow haired friend bending trying to hold up a laugh
"(Giggle) come on Rarity…you must admit that's funny" Rainbow Dash said between giggles. Although the fashionista huffed in annoyance hearing some giggles and chuckles coming from the rest of the audience.
Pinkie reached into view and tipped the bottle so that the sauce dribbles over one of the cupcakes on the table.
" Mmmm…"
If her previous words had the others confused, her next action, pick up the snack and eat it in one bite, really threw them for a loop or three.
The same could be said about the humans although Pinkie pie actually was looking at her pony counterpart eating with an expression of curiosity on her face.
"What?" the pink pony asked munching with gusto the dessert "It's good!" The rest smiled again at the sheer silliness of her appetite.
"Umm it really is" said the pink haired girl as she, somehow, got a cupcake and a bottle of hot sauce.
"How did she…why did she…?" Bonbon tried to ask.
"Its Pinkie pie don't question it" said Applejack.
In the upper room of the tree, Twilight was laying on a bed in what looked like a bedroom with bookshelves lining one wall, a houseplant, a small floor mat, and a table by the window with a bust of a unicorn on it. Two overlapping horseshoes and a cuckoo clock had been hung on the wall, and a telescope close the window.
The unicorn was trying to sleep or at the very least relax, however the muffled, pounding dance music could be heard from below, indicating that the party was still going at full swing and wasn't stopping soon.
The purple unicorn lifted her head, pillow and all, and took note of the insanely late hour with a groan.
"Well it seems that this really was the place where Twilight will be staying"
"I still can't believe she would prefer the inside of a tree over a hotel" said Rarity.
"Its that really the thing you are surprised with?" asked Microchip still trying to understand how a construction like that was made "not the fact that a library and living quarters somehow were build inside a tree?"
"Sorry but I think having adequate living quarters for someone being send by the ruling royalty of the land is more important that trying to think how is that a magic pony could be living inside a tree" answered Rarity with the rest of the more hardcore fashonistas nodding with her.
"I don't know" said Sandal wood "I certainly would like to know how to do that and se if can be done here"
"Umm as long, you know…we don't hurt the tree…ummm I would like to know too" said Fluttershy "live inside a tree actually sounds quite cozy and its umm one of my childhood dreams"
"That and become a tree yourself?" asked Pinkie pie.
"Wait what?...who told you that?" asked the shy girl.
"I guess it" the pink girl said with a smile.
"Hey, Twilight!" Spike called opening the door. The little dragon had lampshade on head, for some reason, and was still grooving to the beat that can now could be heard very clearly through the open door. "Pinkie Pie's starting Pin the Tail on the Pony! Wanna play?"
Everyone blinked.
"Wouldn't that be like us playing put the hair on the human?" asked Rainbow scratching her head in confusion.
"No! All the ponies in this town are CRAZY! Do you know what time it is?" Twilight yelled with frustration.
"It's the eve of the Summer Sun Celebration." Answered Spike not even faced by the pony´s anger "Everypony has to stay up, or they'll miss the Princess raise the sun." the unicorn simply turned around with the pillow over her head trying to ignore the noise "You really should lighten up, Twilight. It's a party!"
"Yeah Twilight" said Pinkie pie feeling a bit sad that her friend was enjoying the party that her other self did. "Why are you so grumpy about?"
"Maybe because there is a chance of an evil pony goddess to break out her exile and return with her dark magic!" called Lyra in dramatic tone.
"Calm down Lyra" said Bon Bon however she also was narrowing her eyes at the purple unicorn in the screen. One would think that she was being paranoid but she was starting to think that Twilight´s suspicions could be more that just crazy thought. But as always she needed more data.
With that the dragon walked out to rejoin the party; Twilight mimicked his tone of voice with gibberish as the door closed before laying down and groan.
"Here I thought I'd have time to learn more about the Elements of Harmony. But, silly me, all this ridiculous friend-making has kept me from it!" she complained as she turned towards the window getting a clear view of the full moon, whose craters and darkened surfaces formed the silhouette of the Nightmare's head.
"That's quite a weird looking moon right there, what's with the pony head on it?" asked Bon Bon. This could be the info she needed.
"I think that's were the story of the mare of the moon came from" answered Sunset "umm, never asked Princess Celestia why the moon had that shape on it" as the red head scratched her head wondering about that the other girl put that info in her mind.
"Well usually form like that one is the product of meteors hitting the surface of the moon" began to explain Miss Cheerilee "the distance between the moon and Earth made the craters to look uniform in the surface creating the so call figures in the moon" she finished with a smile "nothing but a natural visual trick"
"Sheesh speaking of taking the magic out of the magic world" whispered Lyra to Bon Bon a bit annoyed at the, unwanted, explication.
"Well that might be true here" whispered Bon Bon back "but I have the feeling that's not true over there" she added pointing at the screen "after all no meteor crater leave a perfect image like that one"
The unicorn got up and approached as four prominent stars slowly drifted towards the moon.
"It's just me or those stars are moving?" Asked Scootaloo
"No, you right they seem to be getting close to the moon" said sweetie Bell.
"Said Sunset…do ponies also move stars like they do with clouds?" asked Apple Bloom.
"No they...we don't" said the red head "I mean Celestia moves the sun and moon, but stars? That's weird" she said suddenly feeling dread confusion and a bit of fear as she began wondering what was the deal there.
And she wasn't the only one.
Close by Bon Bon also narrowed her eyes towards the screen also not liking the presence of those stars, although she also had to stop Lyra from screaming about this being a magical sign.
Vice principal Luna also looked at the stars feeling some sort of itch as if she also suspected they meant something
Meanwhile Miss Cheerilee was trying to explain to the CMC that the movement of the stars was nothing more that an optic trick made by the distance and the movement of the planet.
"Legend has it that on the longest day of the thousandth year…" Twilight narrated softly "…the stars will aid in her escape…" she looked at the night sky as she levitated an open book "…and she will bring about everlasting night."
"The stars will aid her with her escape?" Sunset asked in surprise. This was the first time she has heard that part of the story.
"Those stars really seem getting close to it…I mean…you don't think" Rarity started
"No, I mean…it's just and old tale….and Celestia never mentioned me something about it" Sunset was quite confused about this.
"I don't know Sunset…something here really feels fishy" Bon Bon said looking at the screen in suspicion.
"Bah! You don't think that a fairy tale can become reality, right?" asked Trixie.
"Normally I would said no but…" Bon Bon started.
"But we are talking about magical ponies so anything its possible!" said Lyra "I think Twilight its right and something will happen"
"But if that so wouldn't the princess version of the headmistress know about it?" Asked Trixie.
"You right and she do tell Twilight she must stop taking old books seriously" added Octavia.
"But what if she wants this to happen?" asked Lyra again "what if this is some sort of plan she has"
"Now that's ridiculous" said Miss Cheerilee "that's like saying principal Luna allowed those siren girls to cause havoc without been brainwashed"
"Well I don't remember her questioning much when that Twilight girl simply walked in" said Cranky.
"Ok I may have slipped a bit with princess Twilight" admitted principal Celestia "but those days previous to the ball a was heavy on work so thought check things after it"
"But the incident with the sirens we do were under mind control by them" said Vice principal Luna.
"We can corroborate that" said Sunset with the rest of the Rainbooms nodding.
"Which left us with the original question…do something will happen? and if does, does the princess knew about it?" asked Flash sentry.
Everyone (Especially Sunset) pondered the question on their minds as the show continued.
Twilight lowered the book, which showed the same vision that she was seeing through the window.
" I hope the Princess was right." She said in a concerned tone while the moon reflected in her eyes. "I hope it really is just an old pony tale." She finished as the door opens.
" Come on, Twilight!" Spiked called for her "It's time to watch the sunrise!"
"Seems we are about to find out" said Flash. Everyone focus in the screen wondering what will come true. Would Twilight´s worries being for nothing? or something sinister was about to happen?
Tension in the room increased as the video resumed.
The town square pavilion was filled and ready for the celebration while several ponies made their way to the door.
Inside earth ponies and pegasi were appreciating the many banners that decorated the place ; the dais on which Rarity was working earlier was empty, as does the balcony directly above. A curtained archway was behind the balcony railing. The profound silence was shattered when Pinkie zipped up to Twilight and Spike, the latter riding on Twilight's back.
"Divine, simply divine other me" said Rarity admiring the decorations.
"Really is an impressive work miss Rarity" added Principal Celestia.
"ummm I don't know I think its missing some balloons" said Pinkie pie.
"Its not a birthday party" said Octavia "its suppose to be a regal ceremony"
"She is right Pinkie pie there are protocols that, unfortunately, don't include balloons" explained Rarity to her friend"
"Isn't this exciting? Are you excited? 'Cause I'm excited, I've never been so excited, well, except for the time that I saw you walking into town and I went— (Gasp.) But I mean, really, who can top that?" Pinkie said to Twilight.
"Ahhh I wish I could have seen that" Pinkie said in disappointment, and much to the confusion and shock of everyone around her.
"You did!" cried Trixie in frustration.
"I did?" asked back a confused Pinkie making the blue girl groan and facepalm
The birds Fluttershy was rehearsing performed a short fanfare, and a spotlight shinned out over the vacant balcony
"You have to admit, those birds are really good" said Vinyl to Octavia.
"I…suppose you're right and…they do have some…music talent" the classic girl said crossing her arms and trying to ignore the smug smile Fluttershy, of all people, was giving her.
There stood a light tan earth pony mare wearing gold-framed half-moon glasses, and a white shirt collar secured with a green ribbon tie. Her waved mane and tail were two light shades of gray; Her cutie mark consisted of a scroll tied with a blue ribbon.
"That pony reminds me a bit of the mayor" said Luna to Celestia
"hehehe then her last name would be fitting" the principal couldn't help but giggle at the thought.
"Fillies and gentle-colts!" Mayor Mare began with a tone of dignity that came with her age and experience in office. "As Mayor of Ponyville, it is my great pleasure to announce the beginning of the Summer Sun Celebration!"
Everypony cheered except a very uneasy Twilight and Spike.
"In just a few moments our town will witness the magic of the sunrise and celebrate this, the longest day of the year!" Mayor Mare continued. However Twilight wasn't fully hearing as her eyes moved to the window from where she could see the four stars drifting into the moon "…And now, it is my great honor to introduce to you the ruler of our land…"
The stars disappeared into the moon´s perimeter. At the same time, the dark unicorn head shape vanished from the surface.
Everyone held their breath as the shadow in the moon disappeared.
"Ok THAT definitive it's not normal" said Sunset not believing what she was seeing.
And she wasn't the only one.
That statement was enough for the rest of the Rainbooms to get worry for their pony friend. Rarity got closer to Applejack, Rainbow´s eyes locked in the screen, Fluttershy began trembling while Pinkie Pie looked between exited and nervously wanting to see what will happen next.
Bon Bon narrowed her eyes at the screen feeling her body getting tense, as she knew this situation was about to get dangerous. Close to her Lyra shared some of Pinkie´s feelings thanks to her love/obsession with magical ponies.
Flash Sentry also looked worry at the screen hopping that Twilight would be ok. A hand landed on his shoulder making him look at Derpy who gave him a reassuring smile.
Luna and Celestia looked at each other in worry while Miss Cheerilee tried to understand how is that the stars did…whatever they did, as her knowledge about physics where being challenged, AKA beaten down.
Not noticing this Mayor Mare continued with her introduction.
"…The very pony who gives us the sun and the moon each and every day…the good, the wise…the bringer of harmony to all of Equestria…"
Fluttershy took this as her cue and she addressed at her birds.
" Ready?"
"…Princess Celestia!" Mayor Mare finished.
Rarity grabbed a nearby rope in her teeth and hauls on it. The curtains parted, the spot hit the balcony as another fanfare played, and Rarity, who was standing at its edge, looked toward the pool of light. However, there is no one and nothing in it.
"Huh?" Rarity looked confused, sentiment that was shared by everyone as murmurs began to surge from the crowd.
"This can't be good" said Twilight fearfully.
"Its not…its not good" said Sunset in worry.
" Remain calm, everypony. There must be a reasonable explanation" said Mayor Mare trying to calm the crowd
Back to Twilight/Spike/Pinkie, the pink pony didn't seem the least worry.
"Ooh, ooh! I love guessing games! Is she hiding?" Pinkie asked jumping in place.
Rarity answered her question as she talked from the balcony.
"She's gone!"
Cue Gargantuan gasp from all present.
"Ooh, she's good" Pinkie said to Twilight.
"Leave it to Pinkie to take the serious out of any situation" said Rainbow Dash
"Although I don't think a possible kidnapping is something to NOT be taken seriously" said Bon Bon. "Even less if some high ranking figure like a princess"
Luna´s hand grabbed Celestia´s with more force while she tried to not show how worry she was about the possible kidnapping of her alternative sister´s self.
Her good cheer went bye-bye in a split second as she voiced a panicked cry while glancing up toward the balcony. Twinkling clouds of deep blue-violet vapor have begun to envelop the balcony as another gasp raised from ground level.
"Oh, no." Twilight said in worry as the cloud took shape.
The thickening clouds bursted away, revealing the blue-armored, winged unicorn figure of Nightmare behind them. Her mane and tail were made of the same blue-violet vapor, and her coat was actually an even darker blue-black hue than in the picture from Twilight's book. Her eyes were of a light blue-green tone with catlike pupils and deep blue-violet shadow on the lids. Her towering size was accentuated by the spread of her wings. A white crescent moon papered both on her chest armor plate, and against a dark purple splotch on her haunch as her cutie mark.
" Nightmare Moon!" Twilight announced.
Some students gasped at the fully image of the nightmare.
Bon Bon´s mind was busy taking notes about the situation.
Lyra was between exited to see a "dark sorcerer horse" and scared.
Flash gulped worry about Twilight.
Celestia was looking between the screen and to her sister as she tried to find any similitude between them.
Bulk Biceps trembled and grabbed Trixie to use as a shield (who was trying to not show surprise or fear...and failing at doing so)
"That really doesn't look like a little pony" said Rarity grabbing Applejack´s hand.
" You said it Rares" agreed Applejack.
Fluttershy wept as she tried to hide behind her friends
"Come on guys she doesn't look that though" said Rainbow looking ready for a fight.
Meanwhile Sunset had her eyes were wide open totally focused on the screen as her mind went blank.
Spike fainted in shock, toppling off Twilight´s back.
" Oh, my beloved subjects. It's been so long since I've seen your precious little sun-loving faces." Nightmare's voice broadcasted an unsettling mixture of suavity, contempt, and barely concealed menace in roughly equal parts.
The scene showed the terror-stricken crowd during her speech finishing on a trio of fillies hiding under a table before showing an angry Rainbow Dash
" What did you do with our Princess?!" the Pegasus began a flying charge, but Applejack grabbed tail in teeth to stop her.
"Whoa there, Nelly!" Applejack said trying to keep the tomboy pony from moving.
"Oh, come on Applejack! The other me could totally take that overgrown horse" called Rainbow
"I hardly doubt that would be a good idea" answered the country girl
"Agree with her" Bon Bon called close by "this kind of situations one can't rush fists first"
"What kind of situation?" asked Lyra.
"An unknown party managed infiltrate undetected on a public gathering and possibly had taken out an important figure head in what I can tell under a minute and neither we or they know how." The girl called narrowing her eyes at Nightmare moon "to many unknowns, to many variables. Is risky simply try a direct approach without info"
Everyone looked in awe at the girl.
"How do you know all that?" asked Pinkie Pie.
Noticing the looks Bon Bon blushed and became nervous.
"I... umm ehem...I like spy movies?" she tried to excuse.
Pinkie blinked.
"Ok works for me" she said with a smile and everyone returned to the screen (letting Bon Bon let out a breath of relief)
"Said…those 3 ponies at the end looked familiar" said Sweetie Bell
"I think one of those was pony me" said Apple Bloom
Nightmare chuckled richly at the duo´s action.
"Why, am I not royal enough for you? Don't you know who I am?" she asked eying the crowd.
"Ooh, ooh! More guessing games! Um…Hokey Smokes! How about…Queen Meanie? No…Black Snooty! Black Snooty!" Pinkie began guessing cheerfully
"Not the time Pinkie pie!" the Rainbooms (sans Sunset) called facepalming.
Her next guess was muffled by the cupcake that Applejack crammed into her mouth with a big embarrassed grin.
"Ahhhhh I wanted to see if other me guessed this time" said Pinkie pie in disappointment, making a lot of people facepalm…again.
"Does my crown no longer count, now that I have been imprisoned for a thousand years?" Nightmare asked in threatening manner leaning over Fluttershy, scaring her and scattering the birds away.
Human Fluttershy also mumbled in fear and worry for her (cute) pony counterpart. Close by Rainbow grabbed her hand in comfort as she growled at the screen promising pain to the alicorn if she hurt even a hair of her pony friend.
" Did you not recall the legend?" the dark alicorn asked next, getting in Rarity's face, cradling it in a lock of her intangible mane "Did you not see the signs?"
" I did! " Twilight cried calling everyone´s attention "And I know who you are!"
"Twilight I don't think it's a good idea doing that" said Rarity worried about her friend.
"Come on Rarity Twilight got this" said Rainbow.
"Rarity is right Rainbow" said Lyra called "Twilight it's a unicorn here, and that's it's an evil winged unicorn who`s power was said rivaled that world´s Celestia, who I have to remind you, can move the sun by her own"
"You're the Mare in the Moon—Nightmare Moon!" she finished narrowing her eyes at the alicorn and causing the crowd to gasp in shock.
"Yeah that would be my exact reaction" Said Fluttershy nervously.
"Well what did you expected?" said Octavia "its like someone who has being told about the monster inside the closet finds out that THERE IS a monster inside the closet.
"That's why I always put mousetraps inside my closet before sleeping" said Pinkie Pie "one cant be totally sure"
"Well, well, well. Somepony who remembers me. Then you also know why I'm here." Nightmare moon asked

The dark Alicorn let out a growing chuckle finding entertaining the pony´s fear.
"Remember this day, little ponies" began Nighthmare Moon her voice growing in excitement "for it was your last. From this moment forth, the night will last forever!"
Lightning cracked through the upper reaches of the pavilion and the material of her mane and tail billowed over the entire room as she laughed exultantly. At ground level, Twilight gritted her teeth out of nervous fear

"NOOOOOOOOOO you can't leave us like this" cried Pinkie Pie as the episode menu popped back "CURSE YOU CLIFFHANGER!"
In that moment the doors of the cafeteria glowed for a moment before opening wide.
"Hey the doors are open!"
"We are free!" cried Trixie running towards them.

Only to hit against them as they suddenly close again following a familiar glow.
"PINKIE PIE/MISS PIE!" yelled the Rainbooms, Vice principal Luna and principal Celestia at the same time while looking at the pink haired girl who just clicked at the next episode of the list.
"Sorry guys but we can't leave things like this. What will happen with Twilight, how this whole mess will end, are they going to have a big party at the end? I CAN'T WAIT FOR AN ENTIRE WEEK BEFORE THE NEXT EPISODE" she fell on her knees graving at Rainbow's jacket pulling the girl at her level "I NEED TO KNOW!"
More voices sounded in agreement with Pinkie Pie. Although others (Trixie among them) weren't happy of been trapped again in the cafeteria.
"Sigh…unfortunately it seems we don't have more options but see what happen next" said vice principal Luna before gazing on the pink haired girl "BUT! No more after that or you will be in detention for the rest of the SCHOOL YEAR!" Pinkie Pie nodded as quickly as she could (out of fear for the threat or excitement for seeing next episode was anyone´s guess).
"Well fortunately we aren't losing school time and we still can tell princess Twilight about this after this one, right Miss Shimmer?" principal Celestia asked only to get no answer "miss Shimmer?"
Everyone turned to see the red head, who was froze still watching the screen with an unbelievable expression on her face.
"Sunset? You ok there partner?" nudged Applejack.
"It's real" Sunset whispered.
"Its who real?" asked the country girl making the red head to turn at her.
"The nightmare its real" suddenly Applejack found herself been shaken by Sunset "THE NIGHTMARE IS REAL!" Applejack fell on the floor as the now hysterical girl began to freak out "how?! When?! HOW?!"
"You said how twice" said Rainbow only to be grabbed by the ex-unicorn.
"Don't you understand?!" she screamed "Nightmare Moon is real!" everyone just looked as the girl began pacing around "how it's that possible? it was just an old story, a legend to scare foals and play pranks once a year…HOW ITS POSSIBLE SHE IS REAL?" she stopped for a moment as another thought came to mind making her walk faster "Did Celestia knew? Of course, she knew she is the princess and that's her sister" stopped again "HER SISTER! I didn't know she had a sister...does anyone else know that? If not then why no one else know, I mean sure no one would want to make public someone of your family become evil and try to take over the world but still…WHY SHE DIDN'T TELL ME?! I was her student...her PERSONAL student..." she thought for a moment "But Twilight WAS also her personal student and she told her that she shouldn't believe those old books so…does that mean she wanted to forget or really forgot about the return….but how can that be if she was HER SISTER…she must had a plan right?!" she asked at her audience only to return pacing not waiting for an answer "Sure she must have some plan if the return of the Nightmare was close" she grabbed Rainbow by her jacket (again) "right?!" she asked in desperation.
"Ehh… I don't know" the girl answered a bit nervous by her friend`s breakdown.
"Miss Shimmer" Celestia`s voice make Sunset let go of her friend and turn to see the principal who approached the girl with a worried expression "take a deep breath and calm down"
Sunset did what the principal said.
"Better?" she asked putting a hand on the back of the girl and caressing her on a relaxing manner.
"Ufff yeah…I…I think so" said the girl "sorry about that, is just this is…"
"Too much to process?" Sunset nodded "I think we all are having similar thoughts about what we are discovering and I have the feeling even you will get more than one surprise" the principal said in a calm tone.
"More surprises after this? This already was mind-blowing to said the least" said the girl "I mean…I grew with hat story and now I learn it was real?"
"I can only imagine" said the woman "but losing your head on it won't help things" she gave Sunset a calming smile "this is Twilight`s story. Meaning she already lived this incident so if you need any answer then probably keep watching will give you that"
Sunset took another breath trying to calm her mind.
"sigh...you right principal Celestia" said the girl calming down "lets continue this…and I hope I can get some answers too" she then signaled Pinkie to play.
Celestia smiled and returned to her place where Luna also gave her a side smile.
"well look at that. I never thought you could be that maternal with someone" said the blue haired woman.
"I prefer be a responsible teacher with a troubled student" said Celestia looking at Sunset "but also it felt like he right thing to do for her"
