After helping Trixie get her cape back (and make sure she didn't try to strangle Pinkie) everyone sat more than ready to see how this adventure would end.
With that the video was played again.
Applejack was standing shocked by the sudden disappearance of the purple unicorn. Around her the others racing around also in panic and confusion.
" Twilight! Where are you?" the blonde earth pony called in worry.
"Oh, I don't know...maybe, SHE WAS TAKEN AWAY BT THAT SMOCKY TWISTER!?" Trixie called "are they blind or are they too busy acting like headless chickens to even think?"
The Rainbooms turned to the magician almost growling at the insult
"Look!" Rarity voice called her and the others´s attention.
The unicorn pointed out a window towards a close by tower from where a white light could be seen pouring from all the windows.
"Come on!" Applejack called in hurry galloping towards the door followed by the rest.
Everyone looked in worry.
The Rainbooms hopped their counterparts will be able to reach twilight before something bad happen to her. Fluttershy got closer to Rainbow Dash who was looking ready to start a fight, Rarity grabbed Applejack´s hand trying to keep the country girl from stressing as she also looked more than ready to jump into action. Pinkie Pie looked between excited and worry and Sunset couldn't help but almost pray to Celestia that Twilight makes it out ok.
Close by Flash looked down feeling powerless. It didn't matter that this was the past, he didn't know if Twilight was hurt of if she was able to escape unharmed of this situation…and the doubt was eating him inside.
Close to him Derpy felt the worry of his friend and put a hand on his shoulder trying to pass some confidence that twilight would be ok (even if she herself was also worry for the purple unicorn).
Vice principal Luna was really uncomfortable (and worry) she knew this wasn't her, but the idea of someone hurting one of her students (even if it was only for three days) was something she couldn't stand. And the fact that "someone" was apparently her, was a sour and hard pill to swallow (she might be strict but she cared about her students).
The same could be say for Celestia, who also was not liking the idea of one of her students being in danger like this. Although she also sent some worry looks to Luna (who she suspected was taking this the harder.)
The rest of the students vary on their own thoughts.
Some were more than worried about their fellow student/princess/friend. Scribble Dee was biting her nails in worry; Bulk Biceps was trying to keep himself from grabbing Trixie like a comfort pillow again (and was seconds to fail); Rose, Lily and Daisy were hugging each other and trying to NOT faint in the act; Sandalwood trying to comfort a worry Sweet Leaf (while trying to breath and calm his own mind).
Others were between worry and excited; Lyra wondering if this would be "the final showdown between good and evil", Cloudy Kicks looked pump up and ready for action alongside Heat Burns and Crimson Napalm.
Some were a bit calmer; Bon Bon knew that as this was the past then Twilight was able to win so she most that anything was trying to keep Lyra from overexciting much (and trying to keep notes of all she was seeing for later study). The same could be say about Microchips, who was trying to keep her fellow nerdy friend (Scribble Dee) from eating her hands. Trixie also was trying to not role eyes at everyone's reactions (as she was more worry about wanting to leave already)
Inside the room of that tower a ball of brilliant light appeared on the floor and explode in a blast of smoke from where Twilight emerged huddled and coughing in the middle of the chamber.
"Oh, thank goodness, she is ok" Fluttershy said in relief.
Getting her head and lungs clear, she looked up and let out one wide-eyed gasp; across the room, Nightmare's armored form stood on a crumbling dais, chuckling nastily as the five Element tablets floated in the grip of her mane and tail with lighting cracking out and around her.
"Not for long" said Trixie with a small chuckle as Fluttershy hided away again behind Rainbow.
"Shut it Trixie!" yelled the sport girl in anger.
"Ok I know I should be worry" started Lyra "but let's admit that was really a badass shot"
"Second that" added Norman.
"Third but, Twilight needs to get out of there!" said Sweetie Belle.
"Run Twilight! Run!" Apple Bloom yelled.
However, the unicorn´s next move really shocked a lot of people.
The unicorn gasped at the scene. However, no a second later she gained a resolved look before lowering her head and pawing the ground to work up steam for a charge challenging the Alicorn.
"You're kidding. You're kidding, right?" Nightmare said in almost disbelief as she settled the Elements down.
"She must be" said Rarity in worry "right?" she asked at Sunset.
"Hahaha of course she isn't" said Rainbow with at excited smile "Go Twilight! Teach that mule a lesson she can't forget"
"Don't be silly Rainbow!" Scowled Applejack "have you forget how she cleaned the floor with those pony soldiers? She could do worst to Twilight!"
"I'm more worry about what she is declaring!" said Sunset with worry making everyone return to the screen
Apparently not; without a second thought Twilight barreled straight towards the dais, her horn firing up in her run. At the same time Nightmare started her own charge towards the unicorn ready to teach the younger mare a lesson.
"Wait, what's going on?" asked Applejack confused.
"Yeah, why isn't that mare blasting Twilight like she did with the guards?" said Lyra confused (And a bit disappointed) for the lack of magic blasting.
"Twilight challenged her to Horn jousting" said Sunset making everyone turn to her "is a really old method for unicorns to set disputes"
"Jousting? Like the old knights with lances on horses?" asked Golden Hazel.
"Exactly" answered Sunset "well, except no need for horses and the lance is substituted by horns" she explained "but is basically the same, both unicorns charge against each other, the strongest one wins"
"that's sounds a bit like what male Deers and goats do" said Fluttershy with some of her Eco-friends nodding.
"That sounds… awesome!" said Rainbow excited.
"Maybe but is quite dangerous" said Sunset in grave voice "not only one could really get hurt by the impact but the horns could get damage or worse, broken. That's why the practice was banned and prohibited" she thought for a moment "ummm Twilight probably found about it in a book about old Equestria"
"And for what we know an Alicorn is a mix of the three pony kinds" said Bon Bon "and, if we considered Nightmare Moon is from this old period, that means she would know about this and would be up to accept the challenge"
"But why would that mare even be considering accepting the challenge?" asked Trixie confused by the more-than-obvious more powerful pony.
"She is cocky" answered Bob Bon "she has the elements and she know she is more powerful that Twilight, so she is just entertaining herself seeing what Twilight will try to do. Basically, she is just toying with her."
"That's sick" said Cherry Crash "and in not a good way"
"But why would Twilight do that?" asked Apple Bloom.
"Duh because she is awesome and she know she can win" said Scootaloo.
"I don't know little one" the rocker said "that thing is twice her size and I bet at least twice as strong"
"Statistically, this don't look good for Twilight" added Microchips.
"So, the question remains, why is she doing it?" asked Bon Bon.
Everyone looked at the screen seeing the two horned ponies about to clash.
Tensions grew.
Everyone was wondering what will happen next.
But before the two could collide, Twilight disappeared in a flash of light.
"WHAT?!" everyone cried in surprise.
Nightmare skidded to a stop and took a puzzled look around, only to see Twilight re-materialize on the dais.
"She can teleport!? Cried Trixie in shock/awe/jealousy
"It was a bluff!" said Bon Bon calling everyone´s attention "Twilight expected Nightmare to take the challenge and then poof away in the last moment to get to the elements" she added in awe "risky move yet quite impressive"
"More since she has to do so on the spot" added Microchip "quite the quick thinking there"
"Hahahaha how you like that Lame-mare-moon!?" mocked Rainbow "what it feels to lose?"
"Settle down girl this is not over yet" declare Applejack.
"Not to mention that according to the official rules Twilight would have thrown the duel for using magic…so technically she would have lost" Sunset whispered to herself.
Twilight let out a woozy moan (indicating she wasnt that good with that spell yet) but Quickly shake herself awake and dipped her head toward the Elements.
"Just one spark." Twilight said blazing her horn "Come on, come on…" The five stones began to glow as well, surprising and scaring Nightmare who immediately became a tornado of smoke and whipped herself onto the dais as well.
Everyone was at the edge of the seat as Twilight worked her magic on the stones.
"Yes, yes come on Twilight almost there!" said Flash.
"Prepare to lose Nightmare!" cried Rainbow Dash.
"Quickly Twilight quickly!" Pinkie yelled jumping in place. "Oh, these moments are always sooooooooo tense…I DON'T LIKE THEM!"
"Same…I never can't stand them" Lyra agreed.
Bon Bon narrowed her eyes at the screen. Would this really, be it? Sure, Nightmare's overconfidence could actually seal her fate. Yet she felt like something was missing.
Vice-principal Luna let out a small sigh of relief. Sure, in a way this could be like herself the one getting defeated, but she knew that dark alicorn wasn't her so she was more that grateful she won't be hurting anyone else.
The magic kicked back hard on Twilight, throwing her across the floor.
"No! No!" Nightmare cried seeing herself between the glowing stones
Twilight smiled, knowing she had the advantage, victory was at hoof.
Everyone was at the edge of their seats some already ready to celebrate.
And then the Elements' lights went out .
"WHAT!" Everyone cried in surprise.
Twilight gasped in pure shock.
"But…where's the sixth Element?" she asked in confusion, shock and fear.
Everyone was making the same question on their minds
What happened?
Why the spark didn't work?
And more importantly
What will Twilight do now?
Noticing that Nightmare couldn't help but to laugh at full throttle, ending with a mighty stomp of her metal covered forelegs causing the stones to shatter into gravel before Twilight´s helpless eyes.
"Well, so much for being all powerful relics" mocked Trixie
Rainbow growled and tried to pounce at the magician, only to be held back by Applejack.
"Ok no this is bad, this is bad" said Lyra freaking out "why that didn't work? Was needed a special spell? A ritual? Did we grab a bunch of fake elements?"
"All those are actually feasible reasons" said Microchips "maybe we missed something on the text? Or maybe there was something written on the axis where the elements where?"
"Ahhh! this is why you check up all the room before taking the treasure!" cried Lyra.
"Lyra calm down" said Bob Bon before turning to Sunset "what you think Sunset? What you know about this?"
"Uggg I know practically as much as you guys" said the ex-unicorn.
"What? But didn't you come from that place too?" asked Cherry crash.
"Not to mention the magical crown you used during the fall formal" added Mystery Mint.
Sunset sighed at the reminder.
"Yeah, I know I did that" took a deep breath "I learned about them be activated two years ago when the portal was activated and decided to return for a moment to Equestria." She sighed again trying to keep her nostalgia and sadness down "I used the three days I had to find all I could about their existence as I studied about them but just as powerful relics of the past; the whole mare in the moon was just a footnote that I glossed over as I knew about that old legend. But I didn't find about HOW they were found only that Twilight was the one who found them and that she had the most powerful one in her crown"
"That's why you shaped the crown for fall formal princess as Twilight´s own crown?" asked Rarity with Sunset nodding.
Close to her Applejack was thinking back to that night and her eyes widen.
"I think we should continue" said the country girl "I have the feeling we ALL we get our answers soon" she said referring also to Sunset.
"Yes! Yes! Let's continue the suspend is killing me!" added Pinkie Pie wanting to see what will happen next.
Knowing that they won't get answers if they continue just guessing everyone agreed to continue. Some praying that what happen next would not bad more bad news for the purple unicorn.
"You little foal! Thinking you could defeat me?" Nightmare asked standing at full height and power before the unicorn "Now you will never see your Princess or your sun! The night will last FOREVER!" Her mane and tail became a swirling mass above her head as she laughed again feeling victorious.
Twilight didn't know what to do at this point. The elements were destroyed and Nightmare Moon was about to conquer Equestria. However before she could sink even lower in despair the muffled voices of her five friends coming from the stairway made her look at the approaching shadows in bewilderment.
"Hang in their Twilight, Calvary is here!" yelled Rainbow Dash. "Hope Nightmare is ready for a second round with other me." she punched the air ready to fight
"And other me too" added Applejack fixing her hat.
"as if other me would let that ruffian hurt our friend" said Rarity also ready for a fight.
"I... I'm not sure if I or pony me are ready" Fluttershy took a deep breath "But we will do all we can!"
"Let's bring on some PAIN!" Pinkie cried a bit (a lot) too excited.
Principal Celestia couldn't help but worry.
"I am proud they decided to go help Twilight but..."
"You can't help but worry now Nightmare could harm them or taken as hostage" finished her sister "I feel the same...and I don't like it one bit" she said in low and angry tone making Celestia hug her closer for comfort.
Hearing them made something click inside the unicorn´s mind making her pupils and irises to narrow almost to point they blocked all the whites. A deep gasp emerged from her mouth as a tiny flicker of light sparked on her eyes.
Feeling her old confidence restored, she turned to address Nightmare over her shoulder with a confident look on her eyes.
"Whoa! Hey! What's happening?" asked Trixie in confusion "why is the unicorn not trembling? Why she is looking at the other bigger pony like that?"
"Something happened" said Microchips "like she just thought of a way to win"
"But how?" asked Sweet Leaf with worry "the elements are destroyed and I don't think neither she or the others can beat Nightmare Moon with brute force"
"Oh! oh! This must be the moment the hero gets its second breath and find the way to beat the bad guy with its ultimate attack!" cried Lyra before falling to her knees "please Roleplay and anime gods! Please let it be that!"
"Lyra get off the floor now!" cried Bon Bon a bit embarrassed by her friend´s actions.
"You think you can destroy the Elements of Harmony just like that?" asked Twilight with a strong tone "Well, you're wrong...because the spirits of the Elements of Harmony are right HERE!"
On cue the other five ponies reaunited around her. The stone shards at Nightmare's hooves began to glow and float free off the ground and towards the group much to the dark mare´s surprise.
"What?" Nightmare cried in shock.
"Yeah, what?!" said Trixie in shock while Lyra celebrated that she was right.
"Hahahaha" Applejack´s laugh called for everyone´s attention "I knew it..ohhh I knew there was something familiar about this" she said with a smile.
"What do you mean Applejack?" asked Rainbow Dash.
"When Twilight mentioned the elements, I couldn't help but feel something familiar about them" started the blonde girl "that's when I remember, but then Pinkie stopped me from saying something" she turned to her pink friend who simply nodded her head in a go-ahead manner "don't you remember during the dance when we talked to Twilight?"
The other girls thought back about it.
FLASHBACK
The fall formal was at full swim, music echoed as students danced and had fun like normal teens would do.
What set them apart, was that some minutes ago they were under mind control after the resident bully turned into a literal she-devil and was blasted by some magic rainbow created by five students being led by a literal magical princess from other dimension.
And how anyone would even believe that?
Well, the 6 girls now spotting pony ears on their head (and three of them having wings) would make quite the strong argument.
Speaking of...
The alicorn-turned-human princess was close to a refreshment table sipping through a straw at some punch (holding the cup between her closed hands in a hoof like fashion) when the other girls approached her.
"How are you feeling Twilight?" asked Fluttershy "are you having fun?"
"Actually, I am" said the princess with a smile "I don't think I had this much fun in quite a while"
"Hehehe oh I bet you are" joined in Applejack "you and Flash really looked like you were having a good time there"
Twilight blushed.
"How can't they not with those crazy moves?" said Pinkie Pie trying to imitate Twilight´s dance, much to the amuse of her friends.
"Hahaha you call that crazy? said Rainbow hovering down "check this out" and began making dance steps and twirls in the air "aha, aha, aha-aha-aha…go Rainbow, go Rainbow WHOA!" until she lost control and spiral-crashed into the floor behind the table "I'm ok"
"Hehehe careful Rainbow…I'm not sure you are all that used up to flying" said Twilight with a smile as her friend stood up.
"HA, you just wait princess, a little of practice with these wings and I will be making cloud shapes in no time" said the sport girl with confidence.
"Speaking of darling" started Rarity "although they do look great on you, Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash" she pulled out a hand mirror "and I simply love how stylish these ponytails are" she flicked her hair "I can't help but wondering if you could explain a bit more of why we got them?"
"Yeah, we didn't had time to ask things during beating Sunset and after that we all wanted to party" said Pinkie pie.
"I think you mentioned something about your crown calling for the elements?" asked Applejack.
Twilight smiled.
"Something like that" she said in soft tone taking off her crown and showing it to her friends "My element of magic was created from the other 5 elements bonded to my friends back home" she said with nostalgia in her tone as she looked at the gem "they are linked by the spark of friendship that united us. The elements called at mine and mine can call them back" she looked up "even in a different world the moment it felt that spark ignite, it fully awoke stopping Sunset from hurting us and allowing you guys to access to the power of the elements within you"
Rainbow looked proud of herself
Applejack pushed her hat down in respect with a smile.
Rarity also smiled with a lady-like grace.
Pinkie Pie jumped up and down in excitement with a big smile on her face
"But...ummm why us?" asked Fluttershy a bit unsure.
Twilight looked at them with eyes filled with care and appreciation "because just like the ponies back home, you guys are also my very best friends"
Her tone was so filled with sincerity that none of them could stop the tears of happiness from gathering on their eyes and soon all six girls joined in a group hug
END OF FLASHBACK
"As Twilight said, we represent the elements of harmony on our world thanks to the friendship that sparked between us" Applejack looked at the screen "and now we will see them becoming the bearers on theirs because of that reason too"
Everyone looked back at the scene ready to watch what some were already considering a moment that will go down in history.
"Applejack…" Twilight announced first while remembering the cliff incident "…who reassured me when I was in doubt, represents the spirit of… HONESTY!" several shard bits started to circle around the orange earth pony.
"Eeyup" said Big Mac with a smile
"Woo-hoo get her sis!" Apple bloom yelled in support.
"That's my grandchild!" said Granny with a proud look on her face "the most honest person anywhere"
Applejack looked at her counterpart as the element bounded to her. Her mind took her back to that night where she herself also received the power of Honesty.
She couldn't help but wonder if her pony-self felt the same like her. That sudden feeling of power running through her giving her such liberating sensation as the transformation took place, feeling so strong as if she was able to do anything; she felt like she could lift up the entire school over her head.
" Fluttershy…" the unicorn continued remembering the manticore licking the pink maned Pegasus in gratitude after having the thorn pulled out. "…who tamed the manticore with her compassion, represents the spirit of… KINDNESS!" shards also orbited around the shy pony who looked down in surprise.
"Oh yeah...who is kind and is about to save the world?...this gal!" said Rainbow Dash side hugging Fluttershy "and that gal!" she pointed at the screen.
"Surprising considering, she fears even her own shadow" Trixie snarked.
Fluttershy decided to ignore Trixie´s commentary (while Rainbow had to be hold back again from killing the magician) and simply smile gratefully at the cheering and admiration others (specially the eco-kids) gave her. she knew she wasn't exactly the most courageous person in the world (in any world she believed). But even she knew that there was a time to be scary and one time to take action and help who needed. Specially if that person was a friend of her. She understood the risks of going against Sunset or the sirens. I mean who wouldn't? going against creatures of other world with magic capable of mind control and hurting them? That's scary. Yet she still jumped in front of a fireball and helped battle a trio of giant sea-ponies anyways; because she knew that if she didn't others would get hurt and she couldn't let that happen.
Sure, it was fighting, but she did it anyways since she knew she wouldn't be alone. She had her friends beside her and she knew she could always count on them the same way they could count she will be there for them.
"Pinkie Pie…" Twilight announced next her mind taking her back at her making fun of the twisted trees "…who banished fear by giggling in the face of danger, represents the spirit of… LAUGHTER!" the pink pony, grinned hugely as pieces gravitate to her.
With a huge smile in her face the pink girl began prancing the moment her name was mentioned. And why wouldn't she? The idea of seeing her pony counterpart…pony up? Would it still be "pony up" if she was already a pony? Would it be "double pony up"? "Pony pony up"?
Well, it didn't matter!
Ohhhh, only thinking about powering up made her feel all giggling and fuzzy inside…like she was about to explode in a cloud of frosting and glitter!
Umm taste like that now that she thought about it…yummy!
"Ugg is there any moment she isn't acting like a child on a sugar rush?" asked Trixie a bit tired of seeing both girls smiling like dumb clowns…even when there is a dark, evil alicorn in the room the pink pony just kept that dumb smile that only gets worse by she having to seeing it too on the pink girl in their world.
"Well of course I will keep smiling" said Pinkie Pie much to Trixie confusion/surprise "if I don't then what's the point?" everyone looked at her in confusion "we can save the world but would that really matter if we forget how to smile?" she asked "smile and laugh even in the darkest moments can make a difference since it reminds us that there always will be light at the end of the tunnel"
Everyone blinked.
"Pinkie Pie darling…that was…quite beautiful" said Rarity in awe.
"And very true" added Celestia with a smile "even in your lowest moments, a smile can make a difference for anyone"
A lot of students looked at each other and smiled to their friends while others remembered their happiest moments. Some even thought back when they were sad, only for a pink haired girl to do all to the extreme just to see them smile.
Certain teacher tried to huff and ignore the girl and the principal´s words.
"uggg..why I even talked" said Trixie to herself sick of the sickly sweet moment.
"Rarity…" Twilight continued with the white unicorn remembering how she gave her tail to the sad serpent "who calmed a sorrowful serpent with a meaningful gift, represents the spirit of… GENEROSITY! " the named unicorn eyed the fragments that now circle her.
"Go Rarity Go!" cheered Sweetie Belle "that's my sister everybody"
Rarity just smiled and waved at the clapping other fashionistas and the drama club gave her (and blushed a bit at the playful shove Applejack gave her). She might be a prim and proper lady but she is more that sure to make it on a fight if needed. And if that fight is to help a friend, then she will bring pain to however or whatever is messing with them and be a shield to keep them safe.
Finally, Twilight´s memory brought her back at the chasm and Rainbow declining the Shadowbolts' offer.
"And Rainbow Dash, who could not abandon her friends for her own heart's desire, represents the spirit of… LOYALTY!" the last pieces spun around the blue Pegasus as she and the others lined up behind Twilight.
Rainbow smiled pumped and ready for action. Sure, a lot of people call her hot headed and sometimes narcissistic, but if there was something she was (in both worlds apparently) was loyal. Loyal to her school, loyal to her teams, and specially, loyal to her friends.
If they were in danger or in need of her help, she was more than ready to drop everything and speed up to their aid in less than ten seconds flat.
"Rainbow Dash! Rainbow Dash! Woohoo!" Cheered Scootaloo followed by the rest of CHS sport teams
"Oh yeah you know it! Who is saving the world? This gal and that mare oh yeah let me hear it!"
That's didn't mean she wouldn't enjoy the crowd cheering her name.
"The spirits of these five ponies got us through every challenge you threw at us!" the unicorn finished standing proud at the head of the group.
"You still don't have the sixth Element! The spark didn't work!" Nightmare yelled, her voice showing her growing fear as she began looking around as if she was making sure the sixth element wasnt there.
"Oh yeah it did Nightmare" smiled Applejack looking cocky but with good reasons.
At her side Sunset also knew for experience that Nightmare Moon was about to get it
"But it did. A different kind of spark." Twilight said before Turning to the others "I felt it the very moment I realized how happy I was to hear you...to see you." Each pony looked touched at her words "How much I cared about you. The spark ignited inside me…" Twilight´s eyes teared up as she finally accepted the new feeling that had growing up since her arrival at Ponyville "…when I realized that you all…" she turned to face Nightmare "…are my FRIENDS!"
None of the Rainbooms couldn't stop some tears to gather at their eyes feeling touched like they did the first time Twilight tell that to them.
Even Sunset felt like a warm blanked had covered her hearth knowing that the princess also considered her one of her friends…even after all the bad things she did.
In cue an intense white light pierced the gloom room as a sixth stone tablet (with star relief on it) appeared and descended to stop above Twilight's head; This time it was Nightmare the only one to shield her eyes with her foreleg and wings.
"You see, Nightmare Moon, when those Elements are ignited by…the spark" Twilight began "that resides in the heart of us all…." The dark alicorn looked in fright as she knew what was coming at her "it creates the sixth Element." The six ponies got into formation "The Element of… MAGIC!"
"Get her Twilight!" Cried Flash Sentry.
"Show that mare whose boss!" Lyra joined in.
"You can do it princess!" Derpy called too.
The light from the floating Element flared out encompassing all six ponies. The stone bits re-joined and transformed into gold necklaces that strapped themselves at the neck of each mare. As for the violet unicorn, the unbroken Element became a golden tiara on her head, studded with small blue jewels and topped by a large one shaped and colored like a six-pointed pink star.
Two rainbow-streaked beams of light emerged from the group like a double helix and shot towards the ceiling before joining into a single wide ribbon of colors that hurtled down on Nightmare Moon.
"NOOOOO!" the evil Alicorn cried in horror as she gazed at the approaching rainbow that soon impacted her at point-blank.
None couldn't keep quiet as they cheered and yelled in excitement.
"Said goodnight, Nightmare moon" yelled Rainbow Dash.
"How you liked eh?" Apple Bloom said with a raspberry at the end.
"That's what you get for being a meanie" Derpy sentenced.
"Final rainbow laser attack, go!" cried Lyra.
"Yeah! Taste the rainbow mother f…!" "PINKIE PIE!/MISS PIE!"
Pinkie Pie giggled a bit sheepish.
"Sorry, got a bit excited"
"AHHHHHHHHH!" The light spiraled and concentrated around her in a small twister as she screamed almost in pain.
Sunset couldn't help but shiver; remembering her own experience with that rainbow.
"It's…it's that…really painful?" asked Fluttershy with worry about her friend remembering she went through the same scenario.
The rest of the Rainbooms (alongside principal Celestia) also looked in worry at Sunset.
Feeling a bit uncomfortable at the looks she was receiving the ex-unicorn tried to explain things.
"kinda? I mean umm its hard to explain" she said scratching her head "it's not a pretty experience I can tell you" took a deep breath "it was like suddenly all the bad things I did were like reflected at me…all my anger, my pride, that hunger for power I had. All was washed up in an instant and replaced by all the pain and humiliation I gave to others which in turn turned to guilt" her eyes filled with tears "and when it was all over…I felt so empty...so ashamed of myself and what I did" tears fell as Fluttershy and Pinkie pie hug her trying to make her feel better. "I did so many awful things, I hurt all of you, broke your friendship and then tried to get rid of you!" she cried "if anything I deserved to be throw in a cell in the deepest part of Equestria."
"don't you DARE said things like that" cried Rainbow joining the hug.
"You already paid back what you did sugar cube" added Applejack "that and more"
"She is right darling" said Rarity "you have shown us you have changed"
"The old Sunset wouldn't have help us as much as you have" said Fluttershy "she wouldn't have saved the school like you did"
"Yeah, you are already super-duper forgiven of all the meanie things you did" finished Pinkie Pie.
"Sunset" called Celestia "the fact you are sorry for the things you did already show us you changed and that you are already a better person."
"You have proven you are worthy of a second chance" added Vice principal Luna "and I can say you have shown you are someone trustworthy in all the sense of the word"
Some students nodded at this; some were doubtful of that (as some people were still a bit tick off for Sunset´s past actions) still no one said anything as the crying girl was being comforted by her friends.
Meanwhile a pair of girls approached Snips and Snails.
"We remember you also had a part on Sunset´s plan so tell us the truth" said Diamon Tiara "it was really that bad?"
The two boys looked at each other for a moment.
"Yeah, it wasn't pretty at all" said Snips. "Although probably it wasn't as bad to us that it was for Sunset"
"What do you mean?" asked Silver Spoon
"weeeellll" Snails scratched his head "we are not totally sure"
"We remember feeling this power going through us making us feel like we could do anything we wanted and no one would be able to stop us" explained Snips
"It was quite intoxicating" continued Snails "it was almost like you ate an entire store worth of candy and had the major rush of your life"
"Only it was…well, wrong? I think"
"Yeah, like a part of us telling this was a bad idea"
"Then the rainbow came and suddenly we felt quite empty and feeling we were in big troubles"
"To be fair we DID end up in big troubles and Vice principal Luna had us repair the entire front entrance alongside Sunset"
Both girls looked thoughtful at this.
"Umm I wonder if it had to do with Sunset be fully aware of what she was doing while you were just following her" wondered Silver Spoon.
"Probably" agreed Diamond "I mean you guys aren't really evil…dumb yeah evil don't think so" she said before both of them walked away.
"Hey thanks!" said Snips before thinking for a moment "wait did you just call us dumb!?"
It took a couple of minutes (at least that's how it felt) before Sunset calmed down.
She still got some worry looks from her friends but now she felt a bit better and beside they needed to finish the view so they could get out the cafeteria. If anything, Sunset felt she didn't need to worry them more of what they looked now (or at least she didn't feel like she deserved their compassion).
Twilight's five companions floated serenely in the white light, floating on their hind legs with their jewels glowing. The purple unicorn opened her eyes to reveal that they have also begun to glow white before a final last flare filled the room.
"Magical" Lyra said in awe.
"Amazing" Bon Bon said.
"It is that and more!" said Photo finish in dramatic tone almost if she just looked at perfection.
Trixie huffed in jealousy.
"I wonder if we looked like that" said Applejack.
"I wouldn't mind looking that majestic" said Rarity.
"Oh, oh! Maybe next time we could have someone recording us while we beat the next bad guy and we could see" suggested Pinkie Pie.
"I would prefer that there wasn't a next bad guy miss Pie" said Vice-principal Luna with arms crossed.
When the light faded away, the six ponies were lying sprawled on the floor.
"My head!" Rainbow groaned as she woke up.
"Everypony okay?" Applejack asked.
"Oh, thank goodness!" Rarity exclaimed in happiness; her tail had grown back.
"iIt's a miracle!" cried Rarity in happiness while other fashionistas joined to celebrate.
"Sheesh, they just beat up and evil unicorn trying to take over the world and the first thing she celebrate is having that tail back?" asked Rainbow in disbelief.
"That's Rarity for you" said Applejack with a small laugh.
"Why, Rarity, it's so lovely." Fluttershy commented as she approached her friend.
"I know! I'll never part with it again!" Rarity said waving her tail.
"No, your necklace" Fluttershy said pointing at the gem in the unicorn´s neck "it looks just like your cutie mark."
"Uh? ooh… So does yours!" Rarity noticed the gem on the Pegasus making Fluttershy gasp happily at it.
This in turn made the others began to take notice of their new adornments.
Each jewel was shaped in the form of its wearer's cutie mark: a pink butterfly for Fluttershy, a blue balloon for Pinkie Pie, a purple diamond for Rarity, an orange apple with green leaf for Applejack and a red lightning bolt for Rainbow Dash .
"Look at mine, look at mine!" Pinkie exclaimed hopping over to Applejack.
"Aw, yeah!" Rainbow said pleased with her own puffing up her chest.
Twilight looked up at the tiara perched behind her horn.
Sunset smiled.
"Even at that point it seems that was your rightful destiny" she said in soft tone.
"Oh my, those jewels look amazing" said Rarity with stars on her eyes. "Maybe I could make something like that here" she added taking her notebook and began sketching the elements "I won't be able to make them with the same materials but I think can do some copies for us" she finished thinking on how she would look with a necklace like that.
"Oh, oh how about you make them costume for others?" said Pinkie Pie "if we all have counterparts with cutie marks maybe you could do necklaces with different symbols for everyone"
Rarity looked excited at the idea
"Pinkie Pie you are a genius!" the pink girl smiled "anyone want to make an order now?"
"Umm well I have my own" said Lyra pointing at her necklace "but maybe you could make one for my bestie here?" she pulled Bon Bon closer "I think saw her counterpart with some candy shaped mark"
"Candy shaped? Umm odd but could be will need to check that scene later" said Rarity writing down the order.
"I wouldn't mind having a lightning bolt like my other self" said Rainbow Dash "that looked awesome."
"Oh, oh can I have one like that too?" asked Scootaloo.
"Sure, thing darling" said Rarity "although would have preferred you came up with your own design but think can do so" she wrote it down "anyone else?"
"Can I have one with a bubble?" asked Derpy "or maybe with a muffin shape?"
Rarity blinked at that but shrugged it off and nodded.
"Can you do that later?!" cried Trixie in anger "we still need to finish here!"
Rarity huffed at her rudeness but principal Celestia also agreed she could do that after they finish the episode. So Rarity put down her notebook and allowed the video to continue.
"Gee, Twilight. I thought you were just spoutin' a lot of hooey" Applejack admitted "But I reckon we really do represent the elements of friendship."
"Really Applejack?" asked Rainbow in disbelief.
"Can said I wouldn't think the same if I was in her position" admitted Applejack "if it wasn't for Spike talking, I probably wouldn't believe it the moment Twilight told us"
"Why not?" asked Pinkie Pie "it was easy to guess for me"
"That's a can of worms I'm not ready to open right now" answered the country girl
"Why would you need a can of worms? You going fishing?" asked the pink girl confused.
"Just continue!" cried Trixie
"Indeed, you do." A gentle voice spoke as a new light washed across the room.
"Well look who finally decided to appear" said Luna in low tone recognizing the voice.
Beside her Celestia also perked up hearing her own voice from the video.
The sun began to rise over the hills beyond the cracked window; from it, a blaze of light separated and floated slowly through the glass. As it settled in front of the group it disappeared to reveal a tall and white winged unicorn mare whose impossibly long, sparkly mane and tail were striped in pastel shades of pink, green, and two different blues, and waved gently as if a breeze were blowing past them. She was wearing a golden tiara, necklace, and shoes; the necklace had a large, violet, lozenge diamond shaped gem in the middle.
"Oh whoa!" Rarity said in awe "that hair, that get up…principal Celestia you look divine...simply divine!"
"Thanks Miss Rarity" said the principal also looked a bit shocked at her counterpart´s looks.
"Hehehe close your mouth before a fly lands there" giggled Luna.
"Ehem…I was just a bit chocked." Said Celestia with a cough "I didn't expect my counterpart look like that; I mean I know princess Twilight said I looked similar but…I just don't see it"
"You think there is that much of a difference?" asked Sunset a bit confused. "I don't know, you both look the same to me"
"Yeah, both are tall, have long legs, necks and hair" said Pinkie Pie.
"Long neck?"" asked the principal feeling her neck with her hands.
"What I mean" said Sunset pushing her pink friend away "outside physical looks you both are quite similar. Both worry about your citizens…or students in your case, and you always try your best to run the country…or the school in your case" the girl blushed.
"Thanks miss Shimmer, I think I get it" said the principal with a grateful smile.
"Well in any case I think the bigger difference is quite obvious" said Vice-principal Luna "at least that Celestia know how to dress" she finished with a smug look.
"And what do you mean by that" asked her sister with a narrowed look.
"She is a princess and dress like one" said Luna "you are a principal yet you look like a cop from a 50´s crime serie and think you look cool"
"I beg your pardon!" the older sister said a bit insulted "I will let you know I choose my outfit very careful and everyone think im the coolest principal ever… right everyone!?"
An uncomfortable silence fell on the cafeteria.
"Well…."
"I mean she doesn't look bad"
"She could maybe use a different color mix"
"Maybe some more white?"
"Think yellow is more her color"
"Lose the blazer maybe"
"Different shoes"
"Her hair looks good thought"
"She could stop using the word cool"
"Trendings aren't her forte either"
"She is a good principal still"
"We love you principal Celestia really"
The principal pouted as she sat down trying to ignore the giggling coming from her sister.
"Just continue miss Pie" she said before whispering "you will get yours Luna...just wait"
All but Twilight kneeled silently before her; the last stayed upright with a happy gasp.
"Princess Celestia!" the unicorn called with happy eyes before dashing over to the sun princess. The two nuzzled each other affectionately.
Sunset was barely able to hide the nostalgic/guilty look on her face as she tried to NOT let her mind take her back to the time when she was the one nuzzling against the princess.
Those simple old times.
Those peaceful beautiful times.
Before she ruined it all.
Sunset was able to clean out one tear before anyone could ask.
"Twilight Sparkle, my faithful student. I knew you could do it." Celestia said in proud tone.
"But…you told me it was all an old pony tale." Twilight said a bit confused
"I told you that you needed to make some friends. Nothing more." The sun princess said while the other ponies stood up "I saw the signs of Nightmare Moon's return, and I knew it was you who had the magic inside to defeat her." She explained to the unicorn.
"Wait, wait!...hold on, hold on!" exclaimed Rainbow "did she just said she knew her evil sister was coming?"
"That…seems to be the case" Sunset said a bit confused also.
"Wait! so the pony principal…planed for princess Twilight…to face against the evil Nightmare Moon?" asked Derpy trying to understand the situation "I…sorry, am I the only one that sees something wrong here?"
"Surprisingly no" said Trixie also blinking at the possibility "so all of this. ALL of this was just some sort of big secret plan where she sent someone else to fight against the evil pony?"
"Well…I wouldn't exactly said that" tried to said Sunset.
"But wait...so she ignored Twilight on purpose knowing what was going to happen?" asked Lyra in shock. Her mind also working on a conspiracy theory.
"She just said she was just trying to get her to make…" tried Sunset only to be interrupted.
"She also sent her to the place where the book with the info about the elements was" added Bon Bon also thinking about everything that had happened.
"That could have been just a coincidence" the ex-unicorn tried again with some hurry in her tone.
"Wait...wouldn't that mean she knew where Nightmare Moon would appear?" asked Sweetie Belle.
"That couldn't be" Sunset said "…I mean, that would mean she deliberately let Nightmare Moon…" some doubt began to creep inside her.
"What? Let her blast some guards? Put at risk all those ponies at that town?" asked Trixie.
Some students began murmuring around them about this.
"Wait! so she risked the life of those ponies just on some gut feeling about Twilight being the one that could beat her?" asked Mystery Mint.
"But that would mean she knew she will put Twilight against someone that clearly was dangerous and stronger that her" added Flash in worry/anger.
"Not to mention she sounded like she knew Twilight would end up taking some civilians into this adventure to stop Nightmare moon" added Bon Bon narrowing her eyes "wait! let's not forget that she probably knew where the…"
"OK STUDENTS THAT'S ENOUGH" Called the voice of the principal.
Everyone turned to see the stern face of principal Celestia.
"Right now, this isn't the time to speculate these things" she said in firm tone "right now we don't know much about that world or its inhabitants so right now we can make any judgment about them" she looked around her "for now we will limit to keep watching and then maybe later we can talk about it ok"
Everyone nodded and agreed with Sunset actually sending the principal a grateful smile. With that each decided to return to their seats.
"I guessing you also have thoughts about this sister?" whispered Vice-principal Luna "because I have some questions about what just happened"
"So do I Luna" answered the principal "but I also believe this is not the time to talk about it" she looked towards the Rainbooms where Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy were asking Sunset if she was ok "Not to mention Sunset already have to many worries out of this to add the possibility that the one she was close to might had some ulterior motives"
"You think they were that close?"
"I have my suspicions" said Celestia "I also have the feelings that things didn't went well between them before Sunset moved here, but that's a suspicious for another day" she turned to her sister again "not to mention we still are missing the one that can add more pieces to complete this puzzle"
"Princess Twilight" said Luna getting what her sister was saying.
"Precisely."
When things were calmer enough Pinkie pressed play to continue.
"But you could not unleash it until you let true friendship into your heart." She shared a look with the other five. "Now if only another will as well." she centered her eyes on another part of the room.
All looked worriedly across the room; there, between the smoking remains of Nightmare's blue armor, laid a second winged unicorn mare. This one was considerably smaller than Celestia, with a blue-violet coat and a lighter blue mane/tail, with the same crescent moon cutie mark as Nightmare. Behind her horn was a small tiara, the same shade of dark purple, blue shoes covered her hooves, and her eyelids were shadowed in the same color as her mane.
"Princess Luna." Called Celestia.
Everyone blinked in surprise of Nightmare Moon´s new/original form.
"OH…MY…GOSH!" Fluttershy cried with stars on her eyes "she is ADORABLE!"
"ahhh she looks so small and huggable!" Pinkie added in delight.
Luna huffed and crossed her arms. Celestia smiled at this…hello revenge time.
"I know right?" said the principal "she actually looks similar to when she was just a small, cute, little girl playing to be a princess"
"Sister!" Luna cried in warning tone.
"Oh? She also did that?" asked Granny Smith "I remember my grandchild's playing that more than once" the Apple siblings blushed in embarrassment (Applejack covering her face with her hat) "hehehe shame I don't have a picture of that with me now…they looked really adorable on those frilly dresses"
"Actually, Smith I think I have a baby pic that we can use to compare" said the principal looking inside one of her pockets.
"Don't you dare Tia!" yelled the blue haired woman with an embarrassed blush.
"Ahhh… is little woona angry?" said Celestia making the students giggle at the pet name.
"ANYONE THAT LAUGHS OR SAID ANYTHING WILL BE IN DETENTION UNTIL THE GRADUATION!" Yelled the vice principal.
The alicorn awoken with a gasp, revealing eyes the same shade of blue-green as Nightmare, but without the catlike pupil shape.
"It has been a thousand years since I have seen you like this." Celestia said sitting on her belly in front of the smaller pony who cringed slightly. "Time to put our differences behind us. We were meant to rule together, little sister."
"Sister?" came Twilight and Rainbow´s shocked cry.
"Again, I don't get why this is such a surprise" said Microchips "the legend talked about two sisters; the castle is called of the two sisters...how is that no one knew about the princess having a sister?"
"I don't know. I really don't know" said Sunset feeling the headache returning. Why she didn't know about Celestia having a sister? Did someone else knew about this? Why she wasn't mentioned before?
At the very least, Twilight seems to have made the connection although she would need to ask her later…way later.
Luna cringed almost expecting punishment.
"Will you accept my friendship?" the sun princess asked in soft tone standing up and hoping for her sister to accept her offer.
Luna turned her face away as the suspense started to get the better of Twilight and company as they lean in expectantly, Pinkie going a little too far.
"Whoa!" the pink pony toppled to floor.
Some chuckled at the pink pony´s antics.
Luna made her move, standing upright and nuzzling against Celestia's chest as tears ran from both sisters' eyes.
"I'm so sorry! I missed you so much, big sister. Luna said in scared, quavering voice.
"I've missed you too." Celestia said back nuzzling against her sister´s neck.
Some in the audience sniffed at the touching moment.
"You know…she might have wanted to destroy our pony-selves" said Applejack as she and Rarity hugged her sisters "but can't help but feel touched at this moment"
Rarity nodded hugging Sweetie Belle.
Scootaloo giggle having her hair been messed by rainbow Dash (too cool for a simple hug)
Celestia and Luna gave each other a side hug being caught too in the moment
A nose was heard being blown making everyone turn to see Pinkie pie, who has produced a handkerchief and was sobbing profusely into it. Waterfalls of tears cascaded from both eyes for a moment before she perked up to her usual happy demeanor as an idea came to mind.
"Hey! You know what this calls for?" Pinkie asked suddenly.
"Oh! oh! I know I know" said Pinkie excited.
"Oh, please don't said..." Trixie begged.
"A party!" both Pinkies said as suddenly everyone was back to Ponyville, fully decked out for a shindig.
"uggg!" Trixie groaned. When this torture will end?
Confetti and streamers rained down as she and many other cheering locals raced through a meadow. A team of Pegasus guards pulled a chariot bearing Celestia and Luna.
Spike bulled his way through the crowd to give Twilight the biggest hug he can manage; all made reverence to the sisters once they leaved the chariot. Celestia smiled gently, while Luna seems a bit uneasy before the crowd before two pegasus fillies fly up to place a wreath of red and white roses around her neck. She directed an uncertain, slightly teary-eyed little smile at Celestia, not entirely understanding how these complete strangers could forgive her but accepting it all the same that easily.
"Seems we have another thing in common" said Sunset to herself as she also was totally unsure if she deserved any kindness after all the bad things she did.
"Really?! After what she tried to do, they still made a party like this?" asked Trixie whit some students also backing her up.
"Well, she doesn't really look like Nightmare moon anymore" said Bon Bon "maybe there was a cover up story about that?"
"Uhhh not bad suggestion" said Lyra "like Nightmare Moon had kidnapped Princess Luna and she was now rescued"
"Ummm not sure that would be believable" said Microchips "maybe just twist the story so the little princess don't come out like a total bad guy?"
"Maybe like she was under some evil entity´s influence?" suggested Norman.
"Uhhh! like some evil, dark and slimy parasite that fed on her darkest emotions and gave her power to transform into a bigger and badder version of herself?" said Pinkie Pie.
"Sounds like the premise of a superhero comic" said Sweetie Belle.
"Or a Movie the CMC should watch and review" added Apple Bloom with a smile.
Standing at a short distance watching the party, Twilight looked and very downcast.
"Why so glum, my faithful student?" asked the sun princess approaching the unicorn "Are you not happy that your quest is complete and you can return to your studies in Canterlot?"
"That's just it" Twilight said being joined by other mares and Spike "just when I learn how wonderful it is to have friends, I have to leave them." She ended with a sad tone. sadness that was shared by the other ponies and the dragon.
"nooooooo! don't leave Twilight!" cried Pinkie Pie "you still need to have proper fun on a party, and eat cake, and play games!"
"Pinkie Pie, you know she won't leave right?" said Sunset "she and the others are close friends so I'm sure she stayed"
"Oh! You're right" said Pinkie returning to her happy self "silly me. Moving on"
"Spike, take a note, please." Celestia ordered.
In an instant the little guy had quill and scroll in hand ready to write.
"I, Princess Celestia…" began the alicorn of the sun "…hereby decree that the unicorn Twilight Sparkle shall take on a new mission for Equestria." The others brightened considerably as the princess continued with Twilight looking a bit confused "She must continue to study the magic of friendship. And she must report to me her findings from her new home in Ponyville."
The uncomprehending look on said unicorn's face gave way to a grateful smile as the other five mobbed on her, shouting congratulations.
"Oh, thank you, Princess Celestia! I'll study harder than ever before!" Twilight declared while around her ponies cheered with confetti and streamers raining down.
The Rainbooms smiled at the scene happy for their friend. At the same time, they couldn't help but look at each other smiling and mentally celebrating the fact they were together again and agreeing they had to thank Twilight the next time she comes by.
And over the little town of Ponyville, the sun shinned down on the beginning of a new day...and a new chapter in the life of 6 ponies.
The moment the screen turned black the doors glowed and opened with a bang.
"OUT OF MY WAY!" Trixie cried as she ran through the exit "IM FREE! IM FREE!"
Others also began to move and leave before something else happened.
"Ok. Miss Pie...stay away from the computer!" Vice-principal Luna called out as she and Celesta advanced to the table.
Pinkie put her hands up in surrender as Sunset ejected the disk from the laptop.
"We will keep this under lock for the time been" said Celestia as Sunset gave her the disk. "In the meantime, I suggest you all to take a break, finish eating and prepare for the next class period."
Groans were heard as everyone remembered they still had classes.
"You ok Sunset?" asked Celestia a bit worried about her student.
"Sigh, I'm a bit overwhelmed but I think I will be able to get thought the day" said the red head stretching up a bit.
"You sure there sugar cube?" asked Applejack in worry "you know no one will think lesser of you if you want to go rest a bit in the in infirmary"
"I'm fine Applejack really" said the girl half touched for her friend worry, half bit annoyed that they thought she was that fragile. "And still I need to contact princess Twilight and tell her what has happened"
"Make sure you do; we need her help to understand this" said Vice-principal Luna "still…if you need a place to rest or someone to talk my office is always open for you miss Shimmer" she added with her most friendly tone.
Sunset nodded.
"In the meantime, I will keep this on my office" said Celestia referring to the disk "plus we must be sure if what that Discord said was true and time really didn't pass while we were watching this" both women began to leave "would hate that this got in the way of school time"
"I think I will go for my journal now" said Sunset taking her backpack "better let Twilight know as soon as I can"
Her friends looked at her with worry but nodded.
"We will be waiting for you at the classroom" said Applejack.
Sunset smiled at her and also left the cafeteria.
"So, what's the result?" asked Luna as she and her sister entered the principal´s office.
"Well, he seems to had been telling the truth" Said the principal as she sat on her desk and put the disk inside a drawer "for what I know we were like an hour inside the cafeteria yet according to the clock on my computer it had passed a total of 12 minutes has passed since I left" she looked up at her sister "and since it takes me 5 minutes reach the cafeteria and 5 more to return, it means we were trapped for 2 min at much."
"Time bubble that slows time outside it" resumed Luna "just like that Discord and miss Doo said" she shook her head "I don't know what I find weirder. The fact we were suspended in time or the fact miss Doo seems to know how this works."
"I think the second is easy explainable considering she told us she is being tutorage by someone outside the school" Celestia thought for a moment "Time Turner I think is his name" she then turned to her sister "but think we have other things to talk about"
"The disk" nodded Luna "at this point maybe we should prepare for more…magical incidents, although again I hope they don't get worse of what they have been"
"Maybe we could use this to be more prepare" suggested the principal "if we know what kind of creatures or beings exist in Equestria maybe we won't be as caught off guard as we have been. Although…"
"…we need to talk to princess Twilight before" finished Luna.
"This is still us messing with her private life after all" said principal Celestia "Maybe after Sunset gets in contact with her, we could ask about this" she looked down in a more serious tone "among other things"
Her sister knew what was bothering her.
"Still thinking about your other self´s so-called-plan?"
Celestia narrowed her eyes.
"I might not be a one-thousand-old pony with the power to move the sun, but I'm still an educator who takes quite seriously her job" she stood up and walked to the wall looking at a picture of Twilight during the fall formal "and I would NEVER put my students at risk out of some half-cooked plan that its more that obvious that depend too much of luck to work"
Celestia couldn't help but worry about Twilight and the rest of the girls…they were after all her students and that included Sunset as well.
Luna put a hand on her sister´s shoulders trying to calm her down.
"As you said, we don't have the full story or we don't understand it fully" the vice principal said "and it seems neither Sunset so we will need to wait until we can talk to princess Twilight about this" Celestia took a deep breath "who knows, maybe this was just a one-time only situation that won't repeat itself"
Celestia was thankful to her sister trying to calm her. But she couldn't help but pray that indeed this situation won't repeat itself.

"I will say that Twilight girl certainty is more tough that I imagine" said Brawly Beats "going against that Nightmare gal certainly takes guts"
Flash smiled at this.
"Yeah, she is awesome" he added with a small blush and a lovesick face making his bandmates to chuckle.
"Everyone is awesome" Ditzy doo said joining her friend "specially how they blasted that meanie mare with those elements"

In reality part of herself was a surprised as they were. After all, even with her time as Celestia´s personal student she never put much attention to the whole "mare in the moon" legend or the story of the elements of harmony. Not to mention the whole existence of princess Luna alone had crashed her understanding of her own world.

This whole experience made her feel so nostalgic about her home. Celestia´s school…Canterlot…Equestria as a whole.
When was the last time she thought about the world she left behind?

"Don't think like that" she said to herself as she reached her locker "you made your choices now you must leave with the consequences" she opened it and pulled out her journal "and right now you have more important things to think about" with that she opened the book and took out a pen to write.
