Chapter 373.

The whole house hasn't been decorated, because the real décor is in the backyard and it is looking good, normally at many birthday parties we have seen, we would see that the food has been provided by Lynn's Table, but this time it ain't.
Clyde and his dads have made tons of food and it's all for Clyde's pals and lady friend. They made tons of food that seems all too amazing to even describe, but they did make tons of strawberry shortcake and chocolate pies and the cake is one to be truly amazed by.
A Chocolate cake, in five large layers and each layer is decorated with rice Crispies and the fillings are almonds and butterscotch. They make sure they're cats: Purrsephone and Cleopawtra stay out of this, and they do and are promised treats if they behave. So, they help get the food out for double the treats.
Clyde then brings out all the popcorn needed for this and he looks around. "Man, this is gonna be one awesome 13th birthday party."
Clyde then gets hugged from behind by his dad's: Howard and Harold McBride. "Oh, our little angel is growing up so fast!" said Howard.
"We are so proud and happy at how you have come Clyde, you truly have grown up and it feels like yesterday when I changed you're diapers, and then showed you how to ride the bike safely and then kept you from hurting yourself as you tried to learn to use the bathroom on your own" said Harold.
"And let's not forget when we fed you your first ice cream and then brought you to Dairyland and then kept you safe at the petting zoo and also brought you to your first restaurant and then brought you to school until you were in the 5th grade" replied Howard.
This embarrasses Clyde. "Dad's, please stop. I'm happy to be 13 too, but I don't want you two to start lecturing people about safety and sharing my history to everyone, it's really embarrassing. You guys know what to do, right?"
Howard and Harold nod. "Of course we do sweetie, we promise not to say anything about good behavior and safety procedures. Unless it's an emergency and we still have all we need just in case something bad happens" replied Harold.
"We just hope your friends show up" said Howard. "We know we have this reputation when it comes to us and trying to make sure everything is A-Okay for you and we hope this party won't make everyone keep clear of you."
"Don't worry guys, they'll be here. I see eagles already." Clyde looks up and he sees all the eagles have made it and they land onto the nearby tree and avoid the McBride dad's.
Then some vehicles arrive and coming out are all of Clyde's friends: Lincoln, Jordan, Chloe, Emma, Liam, Tabby, Simon, Stella, Lance, Artie, Trent, Kat, Cookie, Joy, Rusty, Polly, Mollie, Sadie, Zach, Giggles, Haiku for some reason, Richie, Flat Tire, Jenny, Christina, Gretchen Warwick, the louds and Michelle Lewis.
Even friends from Great Lakes City are there: Ronnie Anne, Sid, Nikki, Sameer, Casey, Laird, Becca and Artemis. Why the heck did they invite the Lucha wrestling club?
They all see the guests come and the McBride men are about to tell them some stuff, but then Clyde stops them. "Hi guys! Glad you could all make it."
They all greet Clyde a Happy Birthday and greet him. "Well, this is your 13th birthday and we sure aren't gonna miss out on that one" replied Lincoln.
"We brought you some gifts you might like, though I think the louds are here for the cake and some of the food. You are a pretty good baker and cook man" replied Zach.
Clyde chuckles. "It's cool. As long as everyone is here to have fun and also enjoy the food my dad's and I made."
"There aren't gonna be any safety junk and talk are there?" asked Jordan and the others are ready for the answer and if he says yes, some of them are bailing.
"Nope, my dads are gonna make sure there aren't any talk about safety and stuff, right dad's?" Clyde looks to his dad's. Seeing that they do not wanna ruin this, they sigh and nod with a smile.
"See? No worries guys and….. Buh….. Buh." Clyde is stunned when he sees Chloe and what she's wearing.
Chloe is wearing her usual light purple beret, a t-shirt in horizontal black and white stripes, a pink overall dress, black and white striped socks, and purple shoes, she did applied eyeliner, blush and purple lipstick.
The sight of this makes Clyde turn red and smile goofily. Howard and Harold are worried he might get sick, but Lincoln stops them. "I've seen this and heck I have been through it." He winks to Jordan and she giggles at those memories.
Chloe goes over to Clyde. "Happy Birthday Clyde." She kisses his cheek, which makes Clyde smile and he hugs Chloe. She's caught off guard from this and he hugs her too.
Everyone "awes" at this and some of them takes some pics, they then depart from the hug and he looks to Chloe. "You look so pretty and I'm not gonna lie, but truly an angel in my eyes."
Chloe giggles and blushes. "Well, one thing I've learned is that I wouldn't judge the kid who is an ace at what he does and knows how to show emotions and change, and be tough in his own way my baking kid."
Clyde chuckles. "Baking king? Then the king is nothing without the queen." Clyde winks and Chloe giggles and kisses his cheek.
Howard and Harold smile seeing this, they're Clyde is in love and even though Clyde and Chloe aren't boyfriend and girlfriend yet, this was the start of something that could be their true future. And they thought Penelope was the girl for him.
"Well, we should all enjoy the food and of course the entertainment" replied Harold.
They all go to the backyard of the McBride house and they begin to enjoy the party. Lana brought Cliff and he goes over the tries to flirt with the McBride pet cats, but they ignore him entirely.
Cliff feels saddened by this, and so Patriot comes to the cat and pets his back feeling sorry for the feline.
Everyone else is having a blast with the party. They enjoy all the awesome food that Clyde and hi dad's made, but they do not go for the cake, yet!
They all enjoy some music and dancing, which is in K-Pop, and once again Ronnie Anne and her crew dance on the floor, alongside Sadie, Cookie, Joy, Kat and Christina.
They even play pin the tail on the donkey and this time nobody gets hurt from Sid who goes off course!
The eagles are all enjoying the food and also enjoying showing off some aerial moves and impressing everyone. But where the heck is Bullet at?
He's at the fish fillet bowl, and he's eaten it all and is fast asleep. Luckily, there's another bowl!
Lynn Sr is impressed by all the food that Clyde and his dad's made, he even asks how he made them and that if he can get the chance, he can make them for the restaurant so everyone an try and that he will make sure they…. I mean, Clyde gets the credit for the new food. Of course, Clyde is cool with it.
Lynn Jr challenges Polly to an eating contest with the tons of hotdogs with bacon wraps and the winner is….. Harrier? How? Why?
Harold and Howard interact with the grownups of course and this time they do not make any talk about safety things, they wanted Clyde's day to be special and they will do whatever they can to make sure he's not embarrassed or humiliated by what they say to everyone.
They do go over to Lily who hurts herself when she trips and to Polly to cool down her mouth from the…. Spicy hotdogs? Lynn! Did she brings some hot sauce with her?! Oh no, Rusty is using it by mistake!
There are a few mishaps, but it's all calm and less painful for everyone, though they keep an eye on Laird. For some reason he seems to be getting into the klutz and fumbles around in so many ways they can never imagine.
Harold and Howard do enjoy when the slow dancing comes and they see Clyde and Chloe slow dancing in the group, though Luna keeps Gretchen Company since she has no one to dance with. She misses Ryan so much.
(An hour later.)
Pretty soon, Harold and Howard make the announcement. "Everyone time for the cake!" said Harold.
They all go over and they see Clyde and Chloe dressed as chefs. "Go ahead you two, slice the first one" said Howard as he has hos camera ready.
Clyde nods and he cuts the cake and everyone cheers from this. Clyde and Chloe then slice the cake and Lynn Sr joins in and helps them slice the cake and they hand it out to everyone.
Everyone loves the cake and they all cheer for Clyde and his awesome baking and cooking skills.
(Skip, after party.)
All the guests have left and Clyde waves goodbye to them and sees all the gifts he got. From Ace Savvy, Muscle Fish, Cooking tools and supplies and he even got a new stove and fridge from Gretchen. His dad's fainted when they saw this new model.
Clyde then sees that all the food has been eaten. "Man everyone sure loved the food." Then someone grabs him and turns him around and he's shocked to see who it is. "Chloe? What the heck are you still doing here?"
Chloe blushes. "I never got to give you your gift Clyde."
Clyde is confused. "Okay, well where is it?" But then he's cut off when she kisses Clyde on the lips, Clyde is shocked and he feels a chill run through his spine and he sinks into the kiss and places his hands onto Chloe's waist.
Harold and Howard come back from placing the new fridge and stove and they are shocked to see Clyde and Chloe kissing. Harold takes a picture of this and sheds some tears and smiles. "Isn't this beautiful Howie? Howie?" He then sees his husband has fainted with a smile on his face. "Huh, I guess he was overjoyed."
Clyde and Chloe then depart from the kiss and look to each other. "Clyde, the day you ask me to be the girl of your life, or in other words, you're girlfriend, then I will say yes."
Clyde smirks. "Then I look forward to the day we do make it official my baking queen."
Chloe giggles. "And one more for my baking king." They then share another kiss, and the cats smile and have a mistletoe above the two kids.
Guys, it's not even December yet or even Christmas.
