Chapter 376.
This is based off of the Casagrandes episode "Fails from the Crypt." Enjoy guys.
(Great Lakes City.)
A purple Ferrari makes it to the Casagrande home and the doors open and coming out are Lincoln, Jordan, Luna, Lucy, Simon, Sam and Stella and they see the door of the apartment open and see Ronnie Anne and Sid coming out, and with backpacks with lots of things.
"Hey guys, we're ready for the big one night stay at the Great Lakes City Cemetery, and it looks like you guys are prepped and ready to. Wow" said Lincoln.
"We only have what we need just in case things do get unexpected" replied Ronnie Anne.
"My mom let me bring someone else with us, someone who is as fine feathered as the eagles" replied Sid. "Where are the fine feathered dudes anyway?"
Patriot, Valkyrie and Bullet land onto Lincoln, Jordan and Luna's shoulders. "Right here."
"Where the heck are they're kids?" asked Ronnie Anne.
"Back home, they're trying to help Nora adapt to more living in Royal Woods and Nora can start by spending some time with the rest of the sisters" replied Lincoln.
"My friends would've wanted to come, but they seem to have come down with a cold. All of them" replied Lucy. "It may seem they must've gotten into something as cold as a corpse when we were in the corn maze. Same goes with Rocky, I feel bad for him."
"Wow. That is sad, what about Liam and Tabby?" asked Sid. "Aren't they coming over to be part of this?"
"Liam has to clean up the whole corn maze after the best Halloween the folks and kids of town have had" replied Simon. "No clue what they plan to do with whats left of corn stalks."
"So, do we go and pick up the rest of your friends?" asked Sam.
"No need, the guys are already there at the cemetery" replied Ronnie Anne. "We should get going now and fast, I wanna get there before night fall so we can setup all we need and see if we can all survive the night. Also, why the heck is Luna and Sam here again?"
"We're here to make sure things don't go so wrong" replied Luna, she goes over and grabs their bags and puts them into the trunk. "We know you guys wanna handle this on your own, but from what we recall when it comes to hauntings, it could get intense. Well, the whole investigation at the old Willard farm wasn't scary, just plain out creepy."
"We just wanna be here to make sure you guys are safe and no our rents didn't tell us to come along, this is just a big sister instinct that Lunes and I have had for some time" replied Sam.
Sid chuckles. "I get that one too. Like when the time Adelaide nearly got hurt and all the others times she nearly got herself into danger, but I do trust her when she operates the city GLART."
"Kinda shocked that your little sister has a junior's train award" said Stella. "She is one cool little sis."
"That's Adelaide for ya, she knows how to do things our mom and dad does and I only have some knowledge on some things from my dad, and the rest is from my mom" replied Sid.
Luna then opens the door for them. "Come on dudes, we should get going now. The sun is starting to make her way down the borders." They then hop into the purple Ferrari and they start to drive off to the cemetery with the eagle's flying high in the sky.
But they have no clue three figures see them from the Casagrandes apartment and were whispering a plan. They then sneak back into the building and make a call to someone to help out.
(Great Lakes City Cemetery.)
Night has fallen and they all setup the large tent. Luna is the one who brought the very large tent and it seems to have the same space as the tree house back at the loud house.
"Alright dudes, the tent is all setup and looking good, hope you dudes got your sleeping bags" said Luna.
Ronnie Anne has brought some food for them to eat and flashlights, but everyone else also have flashlights. Ronnie Anne then grabs her flashlight. "You guys ready to survive tonight? Mwahahaha!" They all chuckle at her attempt to be scary.
"That wasn't intimidating or even funny to me" replied Lucy. "Does everyone has something they brought for this night?"
"I brought my dad's night vision goggles" said Sameer as he puts on the night vision goggles.
"I brought extra underwear" said Casey as he comes out of the tent with his two extra underwear.
"I got my gnarly spell book to ward off evil spirits" said Nikki with a book and a wand.
Lucy looks to the book. "That's a cook book."
Nikki sees the book and reads it. "Dang it! I got the wrong book!"
"Do not worry Nikki, I brought something else better." Lucy brings out tons of paranormal items from her bag. "We have a crystal ball, Great Grandma Harriet's spell book and of course an Ouija board. Though, I don't remember bringing this with me." Lucy has a voodoo doll that is unfinished and looks like Chandler.
"Well, in case for things that could keep us entertained, I brought with me the book on the mythical beasts from my home country" replied Stella.
"Jordan and I brought some musical entertainment." Lincoln has his guitar which is the same one that Luna gave him on his birthday and Jordan has her own acoustic guitar.
"I brought my laptop so we can watch something to pass the time" replied Sam.
"Peter Harris gave me some ghost gear just in case" said Simon. "So, we got EVP detectors, EMF meters and other kinds of gadgets and tools to track down anything that might be still unloving and wandering around the cemetery."
"And I brought my security blanket!" said Laird. "I'm fearless with this thing." But then an owl hoots and he gets startled.
They then see the owl on the tree branch next to Patriot, Valkyrie and Bullets. "Come here Gale." The own sits onto Sid's arm. "My mom is taking care of Gale, she said that Gale can come with us and keep guard for us all night. Since eagles aren't much nighttime birds. No offense guys."
The eagles nod, they know it's true. Then the owl spins its head 360 degrees and hoots. "One hoot means the coast is clear. So no ghosts, zombies, werewolves or even vampires."
"So, what does two hoots mean?" asked Laird who is cowering in his security blanket.
Sid looks to all of them with serious eyes and so does the owl. "Run." Then bats fly by Sid and the moon shines onto her.
They all remain silent at what Sid had just said and what was going on. "Well, that was kinda ominous and also creepy" said Stella.
"Wicked cool" replied Lucy with a smile.
They then go back to setting up everything. "So, what did it take for you to come and make this happen Ronnie Anne?" asked Jordan.
"My mom" replied Ronnie Anne. "She said it was okay for me and she said she did this once too. She and Tio Carlos and I think my dad and Tia Frida were also with them when they did what we did, I wasn't given deep into the details. But I think mom and Tio Carlos didn't last the whole night and ran away or something."
"But there was a group of four people who actually survived the whole night here long ago, they called themselves the fearsome four!" said Casey.
"Wow. Whoever they are must be old by now, I wonder who they were and where they are now" said Lincoln. "Maybe they were part of some top horror films through their experiences from surviving here."
Simon then shines the flashlight onto himself. "We may never know." They then chuckle at how creepy he's trying to be.
Lucy on the other hand. "I don't get it, that wasn't even funny or scary." Lucy then grabs another book.
"What the heck is that book about?" asked Laird.
"This book is used to give us some extra help, someone or something will come when I use this. Also, this is the first time I have seen this book, I got this from Great Grandma Harriet during my whole birthday after we were at Fairway handling Lori's ghost issue" replied Lucy.
"Speaking of which, what did happen with Lori?" asked Sid. Bobby didn't tell us much in what happened because he was so worried he drove all the way to Fairway to check on Lori."
They then begin to tell them about what had happened at the University with Lori, Carol, Becky and Whitney and the ghost of Shanks Bogey and how well it went with no issues at all.
Then they told them what had happened during Halloween and they even show them what Luna, Sam and Leni dressed as.
Seeing this makes Sid, Casey, Sameer, Laird and Nikki blush at the sight, even Ronnie Anne blushes seeing the superhero costumes from the three teens, but she tries not to show it. Laird on the other hand faints.
Sid then clears her throat. "To be honest, I am so feeling the vibe from what you guys wore and to be honest again, I'd surrender myself to you girls."
Luna and Sam are confused by what she said and Ronnie Anne drags Sid way. "We need to talk, again."
(Later.)
As the night has reached past 9, Gale on the branch hoots and the eagles watch over the place for any signs of movement or trouble, they do get this feeling that something is in the cemetery, but what?
Inside the tent, all of them are enjoying the rest of the night. Ronnie Anne is tossing chips towards Sid and Stella is using her hands to act as a goal.
Simon is playing some video games alongside Sameer, Casey and Laird are having a thumb wrestling match, Nikki is reading the book from Stella with Lucy and they smile reading this and knowing more about the mythological creatures from where Stella is from.
Luna and Sam are tuning onto their own acoustics and humming some sweet vibes.
"See, this isn't so scary and my Abuela said that I should come here. Thanks goodness I convinced my Abuelo to let me come here" replied Ronnie Anne.
"Yeah, I don't even need this." Laird tosses away his security blanket, but then he gets alarmed when a branch from outside hits the tent and he cowers back into his security blanket and this makes Stella, Sid and Nikki chuckle.
"Come on Laird, it's just the wind. Nothing scary about it" said Ronnie Anne, she then eats a potato chip. "Hey Lincoln, Jordan you guys want some? We can see how… What the heck?"
They then stop and see that Lincoln and Jordan have fallen asleep, and are leaning onto either side of Luna's shoulders and she pulls them close to her. "Whoa. What the heck made them go knock out?" asked Casey.
"Could be the sweet vibes we've been jamming, that or because they didn't get much sleep when they went to the Middle School Costume party" replied Luna. She then kisses their foreheads. "Let's give them some peace for now, the best way for them to go through one whole night is through dreamland."
They then hear the wind howling at them, but for some reason it sounded like someone from outside.
"Woooooooh! You had all better leave!"
They all looked nervous, though Luna, Sam, Simon and Stella looked around and we confused. "Whoa. Now that is some freaky wind in this hour" said Simon.
Lucy then uses her crystal ball. "I'm not getting anything, chances it could be the wind."
"That is some seriously creepy wind" said Nikki. Some of them look around with some fear in them, but Luna and Sam are cautious and look around.
"Okay, someone has to find out what the heck is going on out there" said Luna. Then Lincoln and Jordan wake up.
"What the? What time is it guys?" Lincoln checks his watch. "Huh, past 10, so what did we miss?"
They then hear the wind speak again. "What the heck was that sound?" asked Jordan.
Sam then grabs a flashlight, an EVP and EMF meter and she grabs the night vision goggles. "Alright, let me do this. Let's see what's going on."
"Count me in." Luna grabs a flashlight and Sam tosses her the EMF. "Let's do this." She then goes to Lincoln and Jordan. "You guys know what to do right?"
Lincoln and Jordan nod. "Stay safe sis and if something does happen, then we'll come for you guys."
"And bring one of the eagles with you, because for some reason that wind sounded so familiar. But I just can't figure it out, like I've heard it from somewhere" said Jordan. While they all try to keep together and stay vigilant, Lucy is going through the spell book and find out what's going on.
Luna and Sam then head out of the tent and Bullet lands onto her shoulder and they see the other two eagles and Gale looking around, they can feel something was wrong. "Alright Sam, something is here and it's giving the chills to everyone. So let's send this chill and let it cool of elsewhere."
Sam looks to Luna confused at everything she just said.
"Sorry, Luan always puns so much that most of us are making them." Luna and Sam walk around the cemetery and then a fog begins to appear around them.
"Dude, did the weather say anything about a fog coming?" asked Sam. She then checks the EVP.
Luna then smells the air. "Do you smell something, delicious?" She then sniffs the air again and so does Bullet. "Next to the delicious smell, why does this fog smell like something I used?"
Sam then looks around. "Something ain't right here." Then someone taps her shoulder. "What is it Lunes?"
"Babe, I'm in front of you" said Luna.
Sam then looks around and she sees something and she points the flashlight at it and Luna also sees this. "Are skeletons usually above ground?" They see the skeletons above ground and leaning onto a tombstone.
Then the skeleton moves its arms and legs. "Are they supposed to move?" asked Sam. Then the skeleton gets onto its feet. "Are they supposed to move too?!"
Luna uses her EMF. "What the? No energy reading, what the heck is this?!" The skeleton then walks towards them and they back up, then they hear a groaning sound and spot a zombie and a very big spider. "If Leni were here, she'd freak out for sure." Luna and Sam then make a run for it, while Bullet grabs one of the rocks and flies and then throws it onto the bones and follows Luna and Sam.
Back at the tent, they are all still cautious about what might be outside. "You think Sam and Luna are okay?" asked Nikki.
"Sam and Luna are brave, I know they'll be back, they're also not easy to take down" said Lincoln.
"What was that noise?" asked Sid. They hear footsteps and then some eagle sounds and the tent opens and Patriot, Valkyrie, Gale along with Luna, Sam and Bullet arrive.
"What happened? What did you girls see?" asked Casey.
"Skeleton walking, giant spider and a zombie" replied Luna. Sam and Luna grab some water and try to catch they're breathe from running.
All of them are shocked to hear this. "Okay, so who here wants to make a run for it back home?" asked Laird. "Because I do! Like right now and with my security blanket!"
"Wait!" said Luna. "There was something else out there, when we were facing the walking pile of bones, I checked the EMF meter and there was no energy spike and the EVP had no disembodied voices either."
Lincoln and Jordan are confused and so is Lucy. "That would mean that was not the dead you girls were facing, next everything that is in or out of the paranormal can emit an EMF reading depending on the settings on what energy signature and level it has to be picked up" said Lincoln.
Lucy then thinks. "Someone is here and is trying to make us leave here. But if I recall, we can stay here for the night and no one else would be around right?"
"That's true. I spoke with the groundskeeper and he said it was okay and that he had to watch a big football game when he finished his shift" replied Nikki.
They then hear the noise again and this time Jordan realizes something. "Guys, I know whose making that noise, and I think I know who is doing this to us."
"So, what the heck do we do now?" asked Sameer. "Is this some kind of mean prank?"
"No" replied Ronnie Anne. Even she knows where this is going. "Someone wants us to leave so we don't have to do this and stay home and I know one or two people, along with someone with feathers who would do this, the fourth party does sound familiar too, like when…. When someone was rooming with us!"
Now all of them can see what was going on. "So, what's the plan?" asked Simon.
Lincoln looks to Lucy. "Luce, I think we need some help."
Lucy smiles and she grabs the book from Great Grandma Harriet and smiles. "Time for some actual creepiness, I hope you guy can handle this."
Ronnie Anne and her friends are all confused at what she just said. "Handle what?" asked Casey.
Lucy opens her book and green energy comes out and then nothing, then someone speaks. "Good evening children, what service may I provide for all of you tonight?" Ronnie Anne and her friends are shocked, but not Lincoln and the others.
"Oh, this is gonna be so good!" said Jordan.
(Moments later.)
Lincoln and the others are now outside of the tent and waiting. "So, when the big shocker begin?" asked Laird.
They then hear screaming. "Bingo!" said Sam.
They then spot Sergio comes out of hiding and he has a skeleton with strings stuck to his legs. "Rawrk! This place is haunted! There's something here!" He then gets hit in the face by a frying pan, by the eagles and the owl. Where the heck did they get that frying pan?
Then comes out is Vito with the fog machine, Rosa in a spider suit and Hector in a zombie suit. "Kids! We need to run for it now! This place is haunted by a ghost!" said Rosa.
"We know" replied Sid.
"Wait what? What do you mean you know?!" asked Hector.
"This is far scarier than the last time we did this, and we had to make sure Maria and her friends wouldn't last one night" said Vito.
"Greetings everyone." They all see the ghost of Great Grandma Harriet and this scares the three elderly and Sergio. "It appears the plan has worked and I made sure what happened was recorded as well."
Some Burst Drone dragonfly cameras come out from hiding and land inside of Jordan's bag. "And we got it all on tape."
"W-What is this? Why is there a ghost that looks like you're sister?!" asked Rosa in panic.
Ronnie Anne pushes her aside and they all go and stand with the ghost. "Abuela, Abuelo, guys calm down. This is not an ordinary ghost, this is the Great Grandma of the Louds."
"This is Harriet Willard, the mother of our grandfather Albert Willard and also the mother of our Aunt Ruth, she's always watching over us and I have been talking to her at times" replied Lucy.
"And the reason why she's here, we called her in to get you guys to see what an actual old ghost looks like" said Sam. "No offense there Harriet."
"I am not insulted. I know I am old, I am far older than Rosa and Hector and Vito, I even recall seeing them long ago when they came to visit Royal Woods at a young age with their mother Lupe" replied Harrier.
Rosa and the others calm down, but are still scared. "You know us?" asked Hector. Sergio wakes up and freaks out seeing the ghost that he hides behind Rosa, but then he grabs his shades that fell and he puts them on and then hides. When did he get cool looking shades?
"Yes, yes I do and it appears you all have something to tell us, like now." Harriet and the others cross they're arms and look to them sternly.
"Well Abuela, is there something you wanna tell us?" asked Ronnie Anne.
Rosa, Hector, Vito and Sergio have to come clean, and this also means they have to tell this to Maria and Carlos as well. They have a lot of explaining to do.
