Chapter 395.
(The Loud House.)
Everyone is all coming down the stairs and going through their books, the books they need to study for something big that they cannot fail and that would be a big test that they have to pass, or they will get some bad grades.
They then have their bags with them and all head out of the house. They all get some breakfast sandwiches which Lynn Sr hands it to them. "I made sure it's the ones you like and don't eat and read at the same time, you kids might choke!"
"Got it dad." They all go into the rides from Luna and Leni, and they drive off to their schools and eat their breakfast sandwiches at the same time. The eagles fly high and keep an eye for any signs of trouble.
Rita and Lynn Sr with Lily watch as their kids drive off to their schools and are all locked, loaded and prepared for their tests. "Just look at our kids, off to school and all looking forward and focused to ace the big tests today" said Lynn Sr. "Kinda like when Lori did the same thing." He then sheds a few tears.
Rita places a hand on her husband's shoulder. "Honey, please calm down. Everything's gonna be fine, this is just them trying to have good grades and not look bad, they know what they're doing and have changed quite a lot ever since last year. We should let them be to their own thing and handle one more loud who has to pass her test today."
They both look to Lily who's by the door and reading a book on nursery rhymes. Seeing this shocks the loud parents.
"Huh, didn't think Lily was like her siblings too, looks like she's got this in the baby bag" joked Lynn Sr. He just laughs at his own joke.
"I don't get it" replied Mr. Grouse who is getting his mail. "At least I got a whole day to have no loud noises from you're house."
But then they hear a loud noise saying. "AH-CHOO!" They all look to the house neighboring them and the loud parents know who's sick.
"Well, at least I closed the restaurant for the day. I'll handle Lily at Daycare, you handle Michelle Lewis" replied Lynn Sr.
"On it." Rita heads over to the other house with a bag of things she needs to help with their neighbor and friend, while Lynn Sr picks up Lily and they both drive off in Vanzilla to her daycare. They got they're day occupied. How did Michelle get sick?
Answer: Michelle went to Tall Timbers Creek to help Rita pull Lana out of a deep mud pit and then she slipped and fell into the creek, yeah she got sick from that place. A common flu. Also, when the test is over Lana is grounded for the next three days, but she will come to watch Lincoln at the dodge ball tournament.
(Royal Woods Middle School.)
Lincoln comes out of Luna's car. "Bye guys good luck with the test." He says this as he has his head in his notebook. Then he walks to the school and he meets up with his friends and Jordan.
All of them have their books and notebooks for the test to study on. "Hey Lincoln, you look like you're slamming into the books today" chuckled Giggles. "But seriously, we're all gonna have to pass this test."
"Yeah, we're all kinda on edge with this, heck even they're on edge" replied Mollie. They all see Leslie and her friends talking back and forth to each other and going through their notebooks. Leslie is too busy with her studies to even look towards Lincoln and Jordan.
"Wow. That was a first, how come she wasn't trying to get to me?" asked Lincoln.
"Because when it comes to her grades, then it gets her into serious mode." They all see Gretchen and Delilah go to them. "I know Leslie well and when this happens like a big test, then she drops whatever she was doing and goes into this focused mode."
"I've seen this on rare occasions and when she does this she seems to be ignoring everyone around her and is in this some kind of robot mode, it's like she's there but on auto-pilot and it's kinda creepy" replied Delilah.
Lincoln and Jordan look to Leslie who goes to her locker far from they're and she takes out some books and then walks with her friends who are all going through their notes and talking to each other.
"Oh, so she's in her little place, but it's not about going for Lincoln and trying to humiliate me?" asked Jordan.
"Pretty much, heck she even ignores every insult thrown at her" replied Gretchen. "When she gets serious with a big test coming, she gets literally serious."
Lincoln and Jordan sigh in relief from this. "Thank god. At least she won't be bothering us for the whole day. Also once we finish the test, the gym will be available for us to do one very last dodge ball training before tomorrow."
They all smile hearing this, the Royal Woods Middle School Middle Eagles are gonna be headed to their first ever Dodge ball tournament. They then walk down the halls and continue to speak about being nervous about the test.
"Guys we can make this happen. Did we even flake out when we were studying all week?" asked Jordan.
"Not really, we only had to deal with some enemies who kept coming back, well mostly Chandler" replied Zach. "And those two other kids."
"Yeah, I didn't even take my bike today and stayed focused on math" replied Flat Tire. "That is the first time I have never taken my bike to school. Man, middle school sure can change a guy."
"As long as we kept to studying and made sure we focus on the task at hand, then I'm sure we can all pass the test and be relieved when we pass" replied Lincoln. He then looks to Jenny. "When will the grades be revealed?"
"Monday" replied Jenny. "It'll be put on the bulletin board in the halls to see who passed and who failed."
"Then we better not fail guys, failure is not an option and sure as heck this ain't no normal sport to be okay in losing" replied Polly. "Let's go and put our school book game faces on people!" She then charges forward while carrying Rusty and their books.
The others just watch as she charges off. "She does know our classroom is not down that hall right?" asked Clyde.
"Let them be mates, she'll figure it out" replied Tabby. "Or Rusty will point it out for her."
They all continue to the hall that leads to their actual classroom. Lincoln and Jordan are focused to pass this big test, and also relieved that for the whole day, Leslie Silver is not gonna pester them, but they look forward to the big dodge ball tournament. They're ready to get their game faces on!
Then Lincoln recalls something. 'I hope Luna and the others are doing alright, I mean their tests are harder than ours, but Luna might be going through some issues with that Katie Crest lady and that offer she was given yesterday.'
(Royal Woods High School.)
Luna, Leni, Luan and Lynn walk down the halls and go through what they need to recall for the big test. They eventually go their separate ways through different halls, but then Luan realizes she just walked into the janitor's closet, and not a classroom.
Lynn of course is using her roller blades to go down the halls and she recites the calculations she was tutored from Lisa. She then sees her friends from the High School Roller Derby team and they begin to talk to each other about the test they'll have and she sees her friend Margo doesn't seem happy.
"Anything bothering you Margo?" asked Lynn.
"Yeah, chances I could fail this girls" replied Margo.
"What? What do you mean? How could you fail?" asked Lainey.
Margo sighs. "Sorry, but I had some rough times and it kinda involved my cousins who're gonna come to my place when Thanksgiving soon and they sent they're dog to our house in advance and he is not easy to live with."
"Wow. That sounds kinda harsh, well you did manage to study, right?" asked Maddie.
Margo sighs. "Not much, I just hope I can be able to ace the test later, otherwise I am in some serious trouble with my parents if my grades are bad."
Lynn has an idea. "Then let's get to work girls, I have an idea. The test doesn't begin soon, so we help you boost up the study levels so you can be able to ace everything before the test even starts!"
Margo smiles hearing this. "Well, alright then. Let's do it." They then have their roller blades ready and they skate off, Lynn carries a history book and Margo reads it as they go.
They do pass by Luan and Benny who are both talking about their own Thanksgiving plans. "So, going to your grandparents for Thanksgiving this year?" asked Luan.
"I am and they said they have this awesome surprise for me when we get there too" replied Benny. "Don't know what it is, but I know it's gonna be great, because my grandparents are so much fun to be around."
"Well, I hope you have one swell time with the old rents and be thankful they'll always be fun as you and the funny life you got!" said Luan. This makes them both laugh and they walk down the halls and meet up with Ruby and Spencer and pass by Leni and her friends.
"So we have this covered right?" Jackie closes her locker. "We know what to do and how to win this test?"
"OF course, we studied all week and barely had time to shop, but it would be all worth it" replied Jackie. "We can do our shopping when it's Sunday and make the last day Thanksgiving sale."
"What about you Leni?" Kacie and Mandee see Leni is walking away from them with her head in the math book, and as she walks she carefully evades everyone walking her way.
"We should go and help her, like now!" Jackie and Mandee race towards Leni, so she doesn't crash into someone or slip on the wet floor that Jackie and Mandee slipped on. Ouch.
Luna and Sam with their band mates are going down the halls and talking. "So, are we stoked for the test? Because I know I am" replied Mazzy.
"Same, even with my uncle living and bunking with me, I can be able to study and keep my cool, because he can be quite loud as I am when it comes to music" replied Sully.
"Well, looks like Sully's loud musical uncle is back, better be careful when Mazzy's family comes over for thanksgiving" chuckled Sam.
Sully sighs and realizes this. "Yeah, I just realized that now. Dang it, it's not gonna be an easy thanksgiving once my uncle starts making things way too loud."
Mazzy places a hand on his shoulder. "Don't worry about it Sully, we can be able to figure something out and make sure there isn't gonna be too much trouble. Because one of my family members is coming and could be a match for your uncle, my cousin who's also loud."
Luna then realizes. "You dudes do know they might combine vocals and make things way above eleven right?"
Sully and Mazzy are shocked about this. "We did not think that one through" replied Sully.
They then continue to walk down the halls and then Sam notices the worried look from Luna. "You okay there babe? Any worries about the test?"
"Nah, that's not it Sam. I'm worried about Katie Crest, she said she wanted me to be part of the summer musical tour, but I don't think I'm ready to tour around the country on my own, and sure as heck I am not ditching our band or leave my baby bro here in town with some rich girl to meddle with him and Jordan" replied Luna.
"Well, did you talk to your family about this?" asked Mazzy.
"I did and they were all worried about me, heck even I'm worried. I mean, I recall from what happened when we did go on tour with Mick Swagger nearly ended in one big death sentence and seeing Lincoln and his worried face kinda made me feel upset. I don't want him to lose me" replied Luna.
Sam places her hand onto Luna's shoulder. "And he won't lose you. Now, what did you say to your family about the choice?"
Luna takes a moment. "I said I don't want to. I don't wanna do it, if it means going to be away for the whole summer and leaving the family with some issues at home."
"Then stick to that choice and go tell that lady that you don't wanna be part of the tour" replied Sully. "She'll understand, I hope."
Mazzy elbows her boyfriend. "Dude, not helping. But he is right, talk to Katie and tell her no."
"Yeah, I mean you're 17 now and you're gonna be a senior in school next year when the summer is over and we have to focus on our responsibilities before we wanna go for our dreams" replied Sam.
"You might not even have time to go to sold out concerts, meet adoring fans or even sign autographs and perform on epic live stages. That is a cool dream, but the dreams can wait, family is what matters first. Like with me and Simon and….. Luna, you with us?"
Luna has stopped walking and is wide eyed, she then thinks about what Sam said. "Luna, you okay?" asked Sully.
Luna then looks to Sam with a smile. "Sam, you're a genius! I know what to do!" She kisses Sam on her cheeks and she races off with her phone to call someone.
"What the heck was that about?" asked Mazzy.
Sam is confused. "I don't know, I think she has some kind of plan. I just hope it's the right thing." They then try to catch up to wherever Luna went off to.
Luna on the other hand makes it outside and she calls someone. "Hey Chunk, glad you picked up.
Chunk: Hey luv, what's going on with you? Also, aren't you supposed to be having some big test or something?
"The test hasn't begun yet, but I need to tell you something important Chunk."
Chunk: Okay, what is it Lunes?
Luna smiles. "Chunk, how would you like to live the High School Year Book Dream you've always wanted to do, how would you like, to go on your own tour for next year's Summer Musical Tour?"
She then hears someone collapsing on the other line. "Chunk? Chunk? Dude? Chester?"
