Aftermath Studio
Gwen: What's going on everyone? Welcome to the brand new, totally wicked Total Drama Action Aftermath show which me and my boyfriend Noah are hosting! We're coming to you live to dish everything Total. Drama. Action! What? This is live to tape?"
Noah: This is where the real action is! I'm Noah.
Gwen: And I'm Gwen.
Noah: You may remember us from such series as Total Drama Island which both of us made it pretty far
Gwen: Right even though neither of us won. Now we get to hang with you! And we're kind of stoked for the new season! What'd you guys think of it so far? The film lot. Kind of unexpected, wish I could have done the alien challenge. We are so psyched to be here!
Eva: Yeah, speak for yourselves.
Gwen: I am just trying to make an entertaining show so Chris doesn't replace us since none of you wanted to host it, speaking of which, do you think I want to host it? So if I come across cherry, that's why.
Heather: Weird goth girl can't host to save her life anyway.
Gwen: (saracastically) Thanks. On that note here are some of our peeps from Season 1 as the peanut gallery, Heather and Eva.
Noah: We also have one of my best friends Owen
Owen: Awesome!
Gwen: Mr. Homeschool sexist himself Ezekiel
Ezekiel: I have said I am sorry many times.
Eva: No one cares.
Gwen: Lastly, eye candy himself Justin. We've also got a ton of texts and emails from all of you!
Noah: Plus, we'll have a couple of you on the webcam, which is super, super cool. Our interviews today include 5 of our first 6 boots in Staci, Bridgette, Izzy, Tom, and Sadie.
Gwen: Lot of the women being taken out early I just noticed.
Noah: I am sure it's just coincidental.
Heather: Can the peanut gallery have ear muffs when Staci comes on? Girl is more annoying than you two holding hands and acting all lovey dovey.
Noah: First of all Heather no and second of all screw you. If we have to suffer, so do you.
Gwen: On that note our first guest we hear won a fan raffle to get on the show, is a huge liar, and has the distinction of not even making it through one challenge, please welcome Staci.
Staci: Hi everyone. Oh my great, great, great aunt invented the aftermath idea.
Noah: Fascinating. Okay I am gonna cut straight to the chase. You were irrelevant on the show.
Gwen: Noah back off.
Staci: Aw but I figured I would do so well.
Noah: But we have a fun game. By fun I mean painful in a game called Truth or Hammer. Tell the truth nothing, lie which you do plenty of you will get hit with a large hammer.
Heather: How did the legal department approve of this?
Noah: Ratings.
Owen: Makes sense.
Gwen: Okay first question. Were you shocked that seemingly everyone pushed you in front of the monster ensuring you'd be the first one out?
Staci: Yah, it did. You know my great, great-
(Hammer swings and misses)
Noah: Heh you may wanna tell the truth there.
Staci: But my great-
(Hammer swings and misses)
Staci: Great-
(Hammer swings and misses)
Staci: My gr-
(Hammer swings and misses)
Staci: Okay fine. It hurt so much that I left such a bad first impression on people I was the first one out. My life is boring back home, I am such a basic girl with an annoying voice so I thought speaking highly of my ancestors and lying would impress people. But clearly I was wrong. Any other questions?
Gwen: Nah. Our next guest made it all the way to the Final 6 last season, is a surfer at heart and fell early this season to a vicious blindside from newbie Amy, please welcome Bridgette.
Bridgette: Hey guys. It is so great to see you, Gwen.
Gwen: Great to see you too Bridgette.
Noah: What about me?
Bridgette: It's good to see you too Noah.
Gwen: Anyways Bridgette, were you surprised that you were voted out so quickly?
Bridgette: As much as I would wanna say yes I was. Truth be told I wasn't my head just wasn't in the game this time. I know that Cody wanted to win again so much more than me. But I didn't. I did feel bad for him that both me and his best friend Tyler were eliminated so quickly.
Noah: Tyler is his best friend?
Bridgette: Yeah, they split the money last season, Noah? What are you jealous of Tyler right now?
Noah: No, no I'm fine.
(Hammer swings and misses)
Noah: Must have been a delayed reaction. Anyways Bridgette how do you feel about how Cody is doing in the game?
Bridgette: He's doing fine, I am glad he seems to be competitive without letting it get obsessive which was a huge detriment to our relatioship.
Gwen: Is there a future with you two because it seems like such an unlikely pairing?
Bridgette: I imagine there will be.
Noah: Okay that wraps things up with Bridgette. Next up, our third guest has impersonated a grizzly bear, and was caught peeing in a pool. Currently number eight on the RCMP's most wanted… Izzy or as I say nutjob.
Izzy: Hey Noah, hey Gwen, hi Bridgette.
Gwen: So Izzy how did it feel get eliminated and voted out by your whole team sans Lindsay
Izzy: Eh, Izzy doesn't mind I went all in on the performance. I knew being on the wrong side of a 7-5 vote where me, Jen, Beth, and Lindsay were on the outs heading into the teams being created, it wasn't a good place to start so I knew no matter what I was going to go all in on the first challenge.
Heather: Respect crazy girl.
Gwen: So there are no hard feelings?
Izzy: Nah. They did what they had to do. But here is something that may shock you. Chef offered me an illegal alliance before DJ.
Gwen: You mean… Chef actually tried to form a secret alliance with you? I am shocked since I figured that would be a lie.
Izzy: Uh-huh. He said he'd help me win this thing if I shared the money with him.
Geoff: Aw… Huh? Wait, I think we've got a never-before-seen clip!
[clip]
Chef: I'll help you win this thing. We split the prize money fifty-fifty. Deal?
Izzy: Hiya!
Chef: Ooh!
Izzy: Oh, I don't think so!
[end clip]
Heather: Sheesh what makes Chef want to cheat in order to get the money?
Izzy: Beats me.
Noah: Probably Chris not paying him.
Gwen: Chis is a terrible host. Anyways thanks Izzy. Our next guest runs a fashion blog with Jen, is an expert at coordinated clothing and was the first person to volunteer to leave this game after Leshawna accidentally hurt him. Give it up for Tom.
Tom: Hey folks. Gwen is it?
Gwen: Yes?
Tom: Your fashion choice with the outfit is like a total match.
Noah: Are you flirting with my girlfriend? Ow- (rubs arm)
Gwen: Uh Noah babe?
Noah: Yeah?
Gwen: Did you forget Tom's gay so just take the compliment. Anyway, I imagine leaving the game wasn't easy.
Tom: No it wasn't, unfortunately I am a fair bit clumsy so I did not want to dance but when Jen told me to I decided to not let her down.
Noah: Speaking of Jen, how do you feel about her now that you're out of the game.
Tom: We're fine. I hold no ill will against her, she is my best friend even if what she is doing in the game makes me frown.
Gwen: What's that?
Tom: Her and Brick. She can deny it all she wants but the way she looks at him, I have seen love and she is in denial.
Noah: What's so bad about being in love?
Tom: Jen has a boyfriend back home.
Everyone: Ooh!
Tom: I thought she said something about it on the show.
Heather: I didn't pay attention to your segments.
Noah: Same here.
Ezekiel: I never saw anything.
Owen: You were on the show?
Noah: Anyways, One of the questions we have asked for you is how things now stand with you and well Tyler?
Tom: We're two people in this world. We both did something we regret and we talked it out. Look I am proud of the way I portray myself, how I look and act. I told it to Tyler and I will say it here. I made a huge mistake thinking other people in the LGBT community were like me, the best thing you can do however is be honest with yourself no matter the downsides.
Gwen: It's what I always say, the best advice is to be straight up and honest.
Noah: Right, fascinating, anyways our final guest was the big bad of last season, had her head shaved, and laced food with laxatives all while losing her best friend. Give it up for Sadie.
Heather: Boo!
Sadie: Hi Noah, hi Gwen.
Gwen: Nice wig you got on there.
Sadie: Right it is so my type, I am so lucky the show had extras and-
Noah: She's being sarcastic.
Sadie: Oh.
Noah: So Sadie after dominating last season and backstabbing so many people you had such a quick exit this time around. Did that come as a shock to you?
Sadie: No. You don't get it Noah but spending nearly 7 weeks playing the game so hard was mentally taxing to where I couldn't do it again. I just wanted to survive one elimination and that's it.
Bridgette: That's wow, that's very admirable.
Heather: I think she's faking it.
Eva: Definitely
Sadie: (stands up): What's your problem with me?
Eva: You voted me out last season and cheated me out of the money.
Heather: Same. You expect people to forgive you and we all get that you need a break from the game, but you crossed so many lines last year and no one here wants to talk to you. (Sadie sits down)
Noah: Okay Heather back off. Since this interview is getting heated we should probably move to the next segment before I have to put some effort in and call security.
Gwen: Right. So we wanna hear from the peanut gallery and the recently eliminated contestants about some of the stuff going on in the game.
Heather: (sarcastically) Riveting. Is this so you and book nerd over there can go backstage and make out.
Noah: No. I mean nope. Anyway, first question: what does everyone here think of Trent trying to throw the last challenge to keep Katie safe?
Sadie: I find it so romantic, Katie deserves a guy like that.
Heather: If Trent's head is not in the game then why is he even there? He is giving his game up.
Bridgette: But it is such a romantic gesture and I am sure Katie would eat that stuff up.
Eva: I can't believe I am saying this but I am with Heather on this one. If you aren't in it to win it then get out.
Noah: Trent's playing with fire it's not like his team is full of dummies. Cody won last season, Jay doesn't seem that dumb. Fragile and pathetic yes-ow! (grabs arm in pain)
Gwen: Shut it you should be nice. Continue Noah.
Noah: Right who else. Topher also seems smart, shallow but smart. Speaking of which, our next question viewers of the show are wondering, what's everyone's thoughts on Topher?
Justin: Not gonna lie, I am kind of jealous. I figured I was the only pretty face with a brain.
Heather: Wow you sound so condescending.
Justin: Really miss big mouth what do you think?
Heather: I mean he has an alliance with Brick with both of them working both sides and teams. It's impressive and something I should have thought of but I doubt it lasts.
Tom: He also has two girls pining over him and thus their loyalty. I had a suspicion he and Brick were working together when we voted Tyler out but I decided against going against my intuition.
Gwen: Speaking of one of those girls, Beth. How does everyone feel about her?
Heather: I am not impressed.
(Hammer swings and misses)
Heather: Okay fine, she is not doing bad. Considering the fact she was left out of the first vote, I mean who is coming after her. She has Lindsiot who is loyal to her now that Tyler is gone. She has a good thing going with stick boy Jay and like I said no one is threatened by her but they should be. It took a lot to take her out last season what with Cody and Noah
Noah: No regrets!
Heather: Rude. Got Lindsay to vote her out. Anyways she is impressively under the radar and as much as it pains me to say I think she can win.
Gwen: Okay final question. Who do you want to see come here for the next aftermath and who do you expect? I'll start, I want to see Lightning, the dude is so annoying. Who do I expect? Unfortunately Trent if he keeps this throwing challenges charade thing up.
Heather: I want to see Amy. She is way worse than Sadie was last season.
Sadie: Thanks?
Heather: Don't mention it's the only compliment you are getting. As for who I expect definitely Trent and probably loud mouth Leshawna.
Ezekiel: Why her eh?
Heather: One I do not like her.
Noah: You never even talked to her.
Heather: Regardless. That and she was almost sent home once, who's to say it won't happen again.
Tom: I want Brick to leave.
Bridgette: Why Brick? He seems like a total sweetheart.
Tom: So my girl Jen can get back on point and get her head in the game. As long as that military guy is there she will be distracted. She has a thing for two types of guys, musicians and military.
Gwen: Well then, that does it for us here at the Aftermath. See you all next time.
Crew Person: Cut!
Gwen: Okay where is my black nail polish or music that was torture acting all fake happy. The facade was too much
[End Episode]
Author Notes: Sorry if this seemed short. Aftermath episodes are like I said breathers for the chaos. I did enjoy writing this as it was fun but this was as close to a fluff chapter as you will probably see especially with the script format which while I don't mind sucks a bit of personality out of the characters but I still think this turned out adequate enough.
The one thing I love doing is writing the contestants reacting to and their thoughts on the stuff going on in the game which was a joy to write.
Next episode will return to the regular format completely and like in canon will be the jailbreak episode. Just a reminder here are the teams and who is left.
Killer Grips: Cody, Amy, Lindsay, Sammy, Jay, Trent, Beth, Geoff, Lightning, and Topher
Screaming Gaffers: Duncan, Leshawna, Courtney, Katie, DJ, Dawn, Harold, Brick, and Jen.
Next episode will take a while since there are still 19 people in the game so stay tuned as the elimination I do have planned may shock you and more plots will progress.
Until then, see you next time, and if you are reading this please like/fav/follow/review if you can and thank you so much. Bye.
