Chapter 9: One Flu Over The Cuckoos
Recap
Chris began to describe the previous episode, "Last time on Total Drama Action, it was prison film day and it was torturous. Jen and Lindsay had to eat for their lives when Beth had a major faux pas and indirectly led to her best friend Lindsay puking and from there the Grips were a disaster. Geoff and Lindsay never caught up during the obstacle challenge when pushing and the Grips lost when Leshawna took control of her team to win. Things seemed all set for Lindsay to get the boot when Amy decided to change the target on last season's winner Cody and got enough people to send him home, and for Beth she made another huge mistake when she failed to tell either her allies Jay or Lindsay about voting Cody out making them both lose trust in her. Can Beth get back in good with Jay and Lindsay? Will Leshawna and Harold cement their alliance with Brick and Jen? Finally where are my damn pants!" Chris yelled out as the camera showed him without pants and off screen laughter that was clearly Tyler and Cody. "Find out right now on Total Drama Action! You two are dead!"
Intro
Dear Mom and Dad I'm Doing Fine
Lightning is underwater posing when a shark pulls up and he punches it in the face knocking it out cold.
You Guys Are On My Mind
Harold was avoiding seagulls on a seaboard while Leshawna cheers him on as he keeps successfully dodging them.
You Asked Me What I Wanted To Be
Duncan is the one shooting the seagulls while Courtney glares at him as he turns she pulls a picture of Sadie and Duncan kissing from Season 1 with Duncan looking apologetic while Sadie watches close by with a wig on her head.
Now I Think The Answer is Plain To See
Beth is seen relaxing on a beach side set with sharks while Jay looks on in concern and fear of the sharks.
I Wanna Be Famous
Staci is in the confessional talking until a makeup person blasts her with hairspray to shut her up.
I Wanna Live Close to the Sun
Amy and Samey are jousting each other with sticks on a large pillar while Topher holds a sign having one of the twins face but it's hard to tell who.

DJ and Dawn are busy preparing food with Chef and DJ sweetens it behind Chef's back.

Lindsay accidentally blows a set up from in Chris room while both Cody and Bridgette look stunned at what she did
Everything To Prove Nothing In My Way
A bear is shown in the blast glaring at Izzy until Izzy chases it away into Geoff who does not see it coming.

Katie is shown in the lame-o-sine with Trent helping her out as both look lovingly at each other

Brick and Jen are shown chatting in the elimination stands until Jen turns to Tom who looks at her disapprovingly only for Tyler to glare at him

Camera pans to Chef and Chris preparing the elimination ceremony until it gets static.

Goes to the aftermath show where Gwen and Noah are close to kissing until they are embarrassed to have the camera on them.

The camera zooms out to show all of the players of the first 2 seasons at the aftermath show as the screen fades to black

Right Outside Trailers
The show began by showing the Gaffers gathered around outside the trailers sans Dawn and DJ. Brick and Harold were talking, same with Leshawna , Katie, and Jen, while Duncan and Courtney were hanging out but did not speak. The camera first went to Brick and Harold with Brick beginning the discussion "Jen said you wanted to talk."
"Yeah Leshawna and I were wondering if you and Jen wanted to work together with us in a four person group." Harold asked him, "Leshawna told me it would be best for all of us."
"Agreed soldier, but we only have four besides who were you thinking of targeting if we did lose." Brick asked.
"Duncan." Harold said glaring over at Duncan.
"Interesting." Brick said.
Confessional: Brick
"I agree with Harold working with him and Leshawna makes sense, but who's to say I can't play both sides of the fence. No way Harold ever works with Duncan and Courtney with the way he talked about him last night. Just need to make sure Duncan and Courtney are good with me and Jen so they don't rally Katie, Dawn, and DJ to vote one of us out. I wanna make sure Jen and I stay safe."
Confessional: Harold
"With Brick and Jen on board we have 4 which on the Gaffers is not the majority but it's good enough.
Present Time
The Grips were shown walking to the trailers from their elimination ceremony when Cody was just eliminated. Amy had a triumphant smirk, Lightning was busy kissing his pecs, Geoff had a huge smile on his face, Sammy had a look of sadness and held her head down. But the real tension could be felt in the back half of the group. Trent looked annoyed that he was completely left out of the vote. Lindsay was walking clear away from Beth after the latter did not tell Lindsay about the vote, Jay had a confused look and looked to be deep in thought, lastly Topher was dealing with Beth glomming onto him.
Confessional: Amy
"Another successful blindside and on Cody the supposed best player last season. Please, the dude was just putty. I am running this team."
Confessional: Trent
"I did not mind us losing, heck I was fine with it as it ensured Katie's safety. What I don't get is how I am left out of the vote entirely. I am gonna throw this next challenge to keep ensuring Katie is safe but I have no clue what's going on with this team.
Confessional: Topher
"You know part of me wishes I got rid of Geoff now just because Beth pretty much would not leave my sight after the vote. Like she was scared or something. I don't get it."
Confessional: Beth
"I just feel so bad I left Lindsay out of the vote. She won't even talk to me, and Jay is also not talking to me much either which stinks even more."
Present Time
Duncan was the first to notice the Grips lacking someone "Wow! I can't believe you guys voted out Cody. Didn't know you guys had it in yourselves."
"I don't wanna talk about it." Beth said, looking away annoyed.
"Why Beth because you betrayed your two best friends. I saw last season and knew you were a tough player, but not telling your supposed BFF, that's just low even for you." Amy taunted.
"Okay leave her alone Amy" Jay said annoyed.
"Aw, are you trying to be her knight in shining armor?" Amy further taunted.
"No, it's been a long day and I am sure all of us want to get some rest." Jay said even more annoyed.
Confessional: Jay
"Beth is still my friend and I wanted to show her at that moment that I still got her back. That, and Amy acts like she is in charge. It's nauseating. At this point I would rather be in an orchid field."
Present Time
Lindsay had also had enough of the day "Well, goodnight everybody" she said before hitting the door with her head and soon Duncan also discovered the boys trailer was locked
"Who locked the damn door" he yelled out.
"Hold on! Lightning's got this" Lightning yelled out before hitting his head and knocking himself out.
An ambulance then arrived in what looked like a stretcher and something out of a coroners office
Courtney was disgusted at the sight "Ew, what is that? A dead body?"
Katie also looked squeamish. "It better not be. I hate dead bodies."
Topher had an unserious look on his face "I don't think anyone here likes dead bodies. Unless someone is willing to raise their hand."
Duncan tried to joke around "Or maybe it is an undead body."
Courtney said in a rather flirtatious tone unintentionally "Maybe you could be a dead body."
Chris then jumped out of the sheet scaring Harold who jumped into Leshawna's arms, Harold blushed from embarrassment as he and Leshawna had a quick kiss which Jen and Katie awed at. Chris finally spoke up "Calm yourselves. No one's dead yet. I'm here to prepare you plucky ducks for our most awesome challenge yet. These textbooks hold the sum total of eight years of med school. And each one of you gets one because tomorrow, we're gonna play doctor"
Confessional: Duncan
"I hate doctors. They just get off on telling people stuff that they don't wanna hear like, "Don't pick at that scab!" or "If you eat nothing but pickled eggs, you'll die." Hey, don't tell me what I can't eat and what I can not pick at. Now, playing doctor. Playing doctor I can handle. Courtney could also play nurse while I play doctor. Wait, did I just say that outloud?"

"Give me the tape! Give me that damn tape. How do you open this thing?"
Confessional: Jay
"Given all my medical conditions this could be the challenge I excel in."
Confessional: Harold
I could be a doctor if I wanted to. I have plenty of hands-on experience, 'cause I've contracted more than three hundred known diseases. And I've been cured of all of them. But there is no known vaccine for loving Leshawna. She is my whole world."
Present Time
Chris continued on "To win this challenge, you're gonna wanna memorize the entire contents of these textbooks. By morning. That's right we are having two eliminations in two days as one of you is spending your last night here tonight and you don't even know it."
Amy looked less than thrilled "But it's already so late! How do you expect us to do well?"
Chris laughed at that " I don't. What med school all-nighter would be complete without pizza?"
Leshawna did not look convinced at all though "It's gotta be a trick. I believe in the challenge but I don't trust the pizza."
Chris ignored her as he wrapped up "More like method acting. Med school interns consume eight hundred fifty percent more pizza than the average human. So, dig in. 'Cause there's plenty more where that came from." Chris said as he and Chef drove off.
Duncan was the first to try it "Tastes amazing!"
Craft Services Tent Kitchen
Chef and DJ were working on the pizzas "Keep 'em comin'! I'll add the final cheesy touch." Chef said laughing
DJ however looked very uncertain "My team's gonna wonder where I am."
Chef however quickly silenced him "Not as long as they're eating, they won't! So hush up and spin that dough. Spin like the wind. Now if you need me I need a bathroom break."
"Is this the right thing to do" DJ wondered to himself.
"It isn't and you know it" Dawn said walking up to the scene.
"Gah! Dawn, don't do that, you scared me." DJ yelled out.
"You know I didn't mean to, I only have your best intentions at heart." Dawn reassured DJ.
"Just leave me alone. I know what I am doing here. Besides, it will make everyone feel good." DJ said in a guilty tone.
"Everyone feels good except you." Dawn said walking off which DJ just sighed at.
Grips Study Session
The Grips were in separate groups studying after the tense elimination, Topher and Beth were sitting in chairs next to each other, Sammy was reading the books to Amy, Geoff and Lightning, while Lindsay and Jay were sitting by the girls trailer.
"I just feel so guilty I betrayed them, Topher. What should I do?" Beth said, barely paying attention to her book.
"Let them cool off. Jay was already defending you and I doubt Lindsay holds a grudge." Topher tried to reassure her.
"Right, if we do lose tomorrow, who do you want to get rid of?" Beth asked, trying to take her mind off of the whole Jay and Lindsay thing.
"Look I will let you decide, I do feel bad I caused this whole awkward tension with Jay and Lindsay. If you want you can even throw me under the bus to them." Topher explained to her.
"Aw that is so sweet." Beth said completely enamored with him.
The camera then panned to Jay and Lindsay who were studying or at least Lindsay was while eating Pizza which Jay didn't and seemed like he wasn't paying attention to the books.
Lindsay spoke up "Jack what does this word mean?" Lindsay asked but Jay had his eyes looking elsewhere which Lindsay noticed. "Why are you looking at Beth and Topher?"
"Oh uh no reason. Look I am tired and am gonna go to bed, see you in the morning Lindsay."
"But the challenge" Lindsay began to say while Jay closed the door. "Does he?" Lindsay said before the camera went inside the boys trailer with a book in hand.
Boys Trailer
Jay mumbled to himself shutting the door "This day can just end." He looked around and saw Trent was in there. "What are you doing here?" Jay asked.
"We don't need everyone studying, besides you don't mind if I practice on my music right dude?" Trent asked.
"Sure thing, I was gonna study here by myself." Jay said and he did for a couple hours before going to bed. Him and Trent being the only ones from their teams getting a good night sleep.
Gaffers Study Session
Duncan and Courtney were sitting next to each other studying while eating the pizza. Katie was also studying with Harold and Dawn eating pizza. Brick was in the bathroom as he had yet to eat the pizza. Leshawna and Jen were studying as well but neither had touched the pizza. Harold had took noticed
"Leshawna, Jen aren't you ladies gonna have some?" Harold asked.
Confessional: Leshawna
"I love pizza. But me and dairy do not "agree". And brother, you do not wanna be around for that."
Confessional: Jen
"I have always been told I am a messy eater and pizza is one of those foods that would totally ruin my top. I can't have that happen"
Present Time
Duncan didn't seem to mind. "No pizza for them means more for us."
Courtney looked annoyed. "You eat like a gremlin." she said in a snarky tone.
Harold also was annoyed at Duncan "Hey, slow down. DJ hasn't had any. He deserves some too."
Katie took notice, "Yeah where is DJ? Feels like he's been gone more often than not on the team."
Dawn was about to say something when DJ popped in from the kitchen, "I have been here the whole time. Pass me a slice." Duncan did as told, DJ ate the slice of pizza admiring his work "I am good."
Leshawna however decided she had enough for the night "Huh, well, I'm not gonna just watch y'all eat. It's been a long day and a sister needs her beauty sleep to be well rested for tomorrow." Leshawna said walking away.
"I will go with her." Jen said before Harold himself could volunteer.
Outside
Jen quickly caught up with Leshawna "Hey Leshawna wait up!" she called out.
"What are you doing here? I figured you'd be studying" Leshawna questioned.
"Please, I agree with you I need my sleep. Perfection is my face and I wanna make sure I am always looking my best" Jen told her "Besides I wanted to reaffirm our alliance between you, me, Brick, and Harold."
"Of course girl, I am willing to ride this thing to the end if you are." Leshawna said.
"Absolutely. Who did you have in mind as a first target?" Jen asked.
"Duncan's first, he got both me and Harold out last season. We just wanna get even with him but if you and Brick have other ideas let a sister know" Leshawna told her.
"No it's fine." Jen said as her and Leshawna entered the girls trailer.
Start Of Challenge
Everyone was standing right outside a pair of doors, everyone sans Leshawna, Jay, Trent, and Jen looked tired and exhausted however. Harold himself complained "So tired."
Lindsay said out loud "Owie, my brain is full. I can't feel anything"
Jen however looked happy and well rested "Oh man, nothing like a good night's sleep. Am I right?"
Jay looked well rested but leaned over to Beth "You okay?"
Beth could barely keep her eyes open "Yeah I'm fine. I am shocked, you are still talking to me."
"Look, let's talk after the challenge." Jay whispered to her before Chris appeared.
"Morning, competitors. Or should I say… doctors?!" Chris yelled out before everyone had stuff that made them look like amatuer doctors. "Ready for today's big challenge?"
Courtney, who was standing next to Leshawna, decided to get snippy "Some of us are more ready than others. We all have an easy target at least."
Leshawna however was not amused "You made your choice, I made mine." Courtney rolled her eyes at that.
Chris loved watching the interaction. "Ooh, tension. My favorite. Let's take it inside."
Challenge
Everyone was inside with the Gaffers on the left side while the Grips on the right side as Chris began, "Today's reward and immunity challenge is called "Visiting Hours". And only two members of the winning team will get to enjoy the reward." Chris explained.
Duncan did not look amused. "If only two of us gets the prize, why even bother trying to win? This is a lame challenge."
Leshawna, who had an exasperated look, just sighed. "A challenge is a challenge. It's one for all and all for one. We all have to work together"
Duncan was still not happy "Yeah, but if we win, who gets to be the one or in this case two?"
Courtney then butted in "The person who most directly contributes to the win."
Confessional: Courtney
"Otherwise known as me. Seriously if the Gaffers did not have me this team would be screwed so I have more than earned a reward."
Back To Challenge
Harold then rose his hands "Chris, you haven't told us what the reward is yet."
Chris tried to dodge what Harold said "You're very perceptive, Harold. Let's see if that'll help you and your team assemble… a cadaver!"
Lindsay looked concerned "You mean like, a dead body?"
Chris then laughed before continuing "No, I mean like a giant dead body." Revealing the two giant puzzles and Jay instantly looked queasy, "These kegs contain the dismembered parts of two identical cadavers. Each player will climb their respective team ladder, strap on the bungee cord, and jump into the tank with hopes of retrieving a body part. Any parts you find will be snapped in place on the platforms. Use those chains to raise them all the way to the roof, where they'll be reanimated by a blast of lightning! First team to bring a Franken-Chris to life wins. First crack goes to the team who can tell me how to treat someone with a bean stuck up their nose." Chris concluded.
Beth eagerly raised her hand "Ooh! Ooh! Administer two CC's of pain meds and probe the infected area with a sterile swab!"
"Correct Beth you get first shot at the keg."
"Go Beth!" Jay cheered for his friend.
Beth strapped the bungee cord and went in the water but got zapped by an eel "Ow! What the hell was that?"
Chris looked happy as he further explained the challenge "I forgot to mention the electric eels. 3 zaps and you are out. So try again Beth!"
"Oh boy, I don't know if I can." Beth said beginning to walk away.
"Come on Beth you got this." Topher cheered for her.
Beth then jumped back in and got her teams first part which Lightning put on the board "Oh yeah."
Chris then continued the challenge while Beth was getting off the ladder. "Okay, next question. Your patient has an itchy, red inflammation on their butt. Diagnosis?"
Katie was the one who got it right :Diaper rash. Apply salve repeatedly to achieve humectant dispersion."
"Good job Katie." Chris said as Katie got ready. Unfortunately for Katie she got hit with 3 electric eels consecutively which meant she was out of the challenge as Trent looked on in huge worry something Jay took notice of.
Confessional: Trent
"I need to throw this challenge Katie is already out so her team will for sure vote her out. I know she doesn't want me to but what girl doesn't love when a guy sacrifices himself for her. Besides it's not like the team will notice."
Confessional: Jay
"Something is so off with Trent I've noticed. Between last night and this challenge something is very alarming"
Back to Challenge
Soon a montage of everyone getting parts was shown with Harold getting the head of the cadaver right as he was zapped a third time.
Chris then announced "The Gaffers are ahead by a head."
Trent then got the last question right and went to dive when he had a bit of a smirk "Perfect."
Confessional: Trent
"I saw right where the head was but I needed to give Katie and her team more of a head start and ensured she was safe."
Back To Challenge
Trent jumped in and fished around with the head and that was when Jay noticed what Trent was doing "Dude the head is right there!"
Trent tried to feign ignorance "I don't see it."
Jay pointed it out and was now starting to sound annoyed "It's right there! Clear as day"
Beth looked excited at the end of the challenge "Oh my gosh this challenge is so close! I am so excited. Topher what's that red spot on your hand?"
Topher looked confused "I don't know" Topher than accidentally burped "Ew and why is it lemony?"
Lightning then stopped dead in his tracks "Wait lemony breath and red spots. Aren't those symptoms of one of the diseases in the book?"
Beth then backed away from Topher very freaked out "Page 753! Mortotistico Crumple's Disease! It's fatal!"
Courtney then gasped as well "Mortotistico Crumple's isn't just fatal… it's highly contagious!"
Chris backed away heading for the exit "Okay, looks like it's quarantine time! See ya, wouldn't wanna be ya" Chris then sealed the main exit "There's more to it than either team knows."
Back inside Trent and Jay were still arguing with Jay flat out accusing Trent of throwing the challenge but no one was listening to them as Duncan spoke up "How does Topher get infected with some fatal disease. Sucks to be you dude."
Beth looked completely downtrodden "Topher I feel so sad. I will find a cure for you, I promise."
Harold decided to take control of the situation "Quarantine Topher, stat!"
Amy yelled out "Get inside before you kill us all you deadbeat!"
Dawn then noticed the same sore on DJ "Ahh! I see another sore… on DJ!"
Soon DJ was also in a bubble freaking out "Get me out of this thing. Momma!"
Harold continued to take charge. "We need to make sure no one else is infected. List of symptoms are explosive diarrhea"
Lindsay then was in the bathroom outhouse with Lightning, Amy, Sammy, and Brick all waiting behind her. "Oh no!" Lindsay yelled out.
Harold continued "Itchy lips."
Dawn's lips started to burn, same with Katie's "Oh my gosh my lips are on fire. Aah!" Both said with Katie in particular screaming.
"Sudden hot flashes" Beth experienced that along with Geoff.
"Sea sickness" and at that moment Duncan and Courtney puked out of nowhere as the camera panned to Leshawna smirking at the sight of that.
"Speaking in tongues and sudden blindness." Harold said "Anyone experiencing that? Well, that's a relief." Harold then bumped into Trent "Uh! I'm blind!" he yelled out.
Confessional: Leshawna
"I know it's meant to be dangerous and all, but it's still a TV show. No way they'd actually let someone up and die in here, am I right?"
Back To Challenge
Leshawna then called over Trent and Jay "Skinny boy, Trent get over here." Leshawna called out as everyone else was isolated. "Did either of you two boys eat that pizza last night?"
Jay immediately spoke up "No I might be allergic to it so no point in risking it. I can't speak for the guy who threw the challenge though."
Trent immediately looked offended. "Since when am I throwing the challenge and since when did the walking talking disaster grow a backbone."
"Maybe because I don't want to lose, unlike you." Jay said snipply.
As Trent and Jay continued arguing Jen and Leshawna just backed away "Yeah, I'm starting to question this Morto-testing-my-patience junk. We need to get our hands on one of those textbooks. There's gotta be something these guys missed. How are the only people who did not eat the pizza the only ones not sick."
Jen agreed but looked concerned "Good idea. Except Chris sealed off the only exit."
Leshawna pointed at the lever system "Not the only exit."
Jen was not amused "I'm not a huge fan of heights or working out."
Leshawna did not want to waste any time "Well, I'm not a huge fan of dying!"
Jen walked over to the spot as well "You got a point. Should we bring Jay and Trent with us?"
Leshawna and Jen looked over at Jay and Trent arguing, pointing the finger at each other before laughing at both guys immature display "Yeah no."
Soon Leshawna and Jen were outside the studio area, "I am gonna go in the kitchen and find out what was used in the pizzas, find a textbook those guys used. Meet back up in 20 minutes. Got it?"
Jen nodded "Got it," soon both women went their separate ways.
Confessional: Leshawna
I take a practical approach to life and to this game. Namely, if someone is too nice to you, there has got to be a reason. And you just know it ain't gonna be pretty. Jen is also such an awesome ally she has my attitude but a heart of gold underneath. Besides Harold I trust her the most."
End Of Challenge
Back inside Jay and Trent were still arguing about Trent throwing the challenge as everyone in the loft had an annoyed look even being sick.
Jay then pointed out "Another thing, I know you tried to throw the beach challenge. You only got lucky that Tom broke his leg."
Trent was fed up "At least I have a girlfriend. The girl you're crushing on doesn't like you like that."
Jay immediately got defensive "I have no clue what you're talking about."
Luckily before Trent could say anything more Leshawna and Jen came storming in with Jen speaking up "Relax, everyone. As someone who's boyfriend has extensive experience with forgery, trust me. This textbook and everything in it is a total crock. The book covers are really just old cereal boxes."
Geoff looked annoyed. "That's great girl but what does that have to do with anything? Everyone here feels awful."
Leshawna then spoke up "That's the other thing. I went to Chef's kitchen where I found this so-called cheese." Leshawna said, pulling it out.
DJ feigned ignorance "Oh boy what's in it Parmesan?"
Leshawna immediately pulled it off and revealed "Nope itching powder and laxatives."
Jay then spoke up, "That explains the diarrhea, and itchy lips. Not to mention how none of me, Trent, Leshawna, or Jen got sick since none of us ate the pizza."
Trent rolled his eyes "Way to go genius you are so cool." Trent sarcastically said.
Beth then rose from her seat "What about the other symptoms, speaking in tongues, blindness, and hot fleshes, seasickness?"
Jen noted "Oh right I remember Tom told me this, first year med school syndrome! Too much studying and too little sleep can make you think you've got every disease in the book. Here let's get Topher and DJ out of their bubbles." Soon both were out as DJ made a B-line straight for the bathroom and Topher separated Trent and Jay's arguing.
Harold then happily spoke up "I can see. Awesome!"
Chris then came in to announce the winner "Congratulations Screaming Gaffers the 9 of you are safe tonight each guaranteed a 1 in 17 chance to win the game due to Jen and Leshawna's detective work." Gaffers all cheered at that. "As for the Grips, one of you is going home tonight. As for your reward. Shoot I knew I forgot something. Be right back." Chris said quickly walking away.
Brick then walked up and pulled Jen aside "Thank you Jen, you are an amazing person, the way you took charge of that challenge I am proud. Any person who can do that is clearly talented"
"Aw thanks Brick. I could never let you get hurt. You are very important in my life." Jen reassured him, but for Brick then out of nowhere tried to lean in to kiss Jen which she immediately made sure to back up as Brick was letting the emotions of the high stakes situation control his feelings not realizing he messed up.
"Woah! Brick, did you just try to kiss me?" Jen asked.
"Yes. I'm sorry. I'm sorry." Brick immediately deflected.
"It's cool. It's cool." Jen reassured him.
"It's cool?" Brick said and immediately tried again to kiss Jen which Jen once again avoided.
"Brick what the hell? I have a boyfriend." Jen said, attempting to walk away as Brick looked extremely guilty. Before things could get more awkward Chris showed up.
Chris announced "Two of you get a whole spa night away from this cruddy studio lot with your very best friend. So, who are the lucky ones?" Chris then revealed everyone's loved one, it was Courtney's mother, Katie's mother, DJ's mother as well, Harold's nerdy friend, Duncan's parole officer, Leshawna's cousin, Brick's boot camp leader, Jen's boyfriend Rock, and for Dawn it was her friend Laurie.
Courtney was the first to speak up "As great as this reward is, I think we can all agree on the two who should go, Jen and Leshawna." Courtney announced.
Jen looked stunned especially after what just happened with Brick "Woah! Okay." Jen said, trying to calm herself down from the excitement and confusion she was feeling at that moment.
Leshawna however began to fake cry "No, no. I-I can't believe this! You guys are so beautiful! How generous… Thank you! Thank you so much! You guys are the best" Leshawna said near blubbering.
Jen immediately comforted Leshawna as both ladies walked away "Come on girl let's enjoy this spa day."
Chris then turned his attention to the Grips. "Killer Grips one of you is going home tonight. You have the evening to decide."
Leshawna and Jen's reward.
Leshawna and Jen walked into the limo and Leshawna immediately tackled her cousin Leshaniqua "I won!" Leshawna confidently said in fake hysterics. Jen walked in next and saw Rock.
"Hey babe, how's it going?" Rock asked as Jen looked uncertain.
"It's fine. Fine." Jen said, looking out the window. "Leshawna you okay girl."
Leshawna then spoke up "You nuts? I was just making sure they would not go back on voting me the heck out of here for the night. Come on Jen, let's enjoy this spa."
Rock noticed Jen looked dejected. "What's wrong Jen? I know something is wrong with you."
"Can we discuss it later, just the two of us?" Jen asked.
Rock looked still happy but understanding, "Sure thing."
Craft Services Tent
Jay was talking with Topher alone while the rest of the team was cleaning up more. Jay spoke first "I am telling you dude. Trent was throwing the challenge he did not study at all last night and I know he saw the head."
"Okay" Topher said.
"Dude you have to believe me." Jay pleaded, "I know Trent is after me."
Topher had a quizzical look "I believe you. I just wanna know you are willing to work with me beyond this vote."
Jay had an annoyed look but sighed "Yes."
"Okay leave the rest to me." Topher reassured him as Jay rose his eyebrows confused at Topher's confidence.
Award/Elimination Ceremony
Chris showed up in his usual get up right as everyone was done voting "Time is up. Awards go to Geoff, Topher, Amy, Lightning, Beth, Sammy, and Lindsay." Chris announced.
"As expected our bottom 2 is Trent and Jay. You two constant bickering today seems to have gotten under your team's skins. It was a close vote 5-4" Chris announced.
Amy had a shocked look "What?"
Flashback
Topher was talking with Sammy by the confessional trailer "I am telling you keeping Jay over Trent is the move to make, Amy might be mad at you but she will still focus on Lindsay and Jay before she targets us anyway." Sammy nodded at that
Present Time
"The final Gilded Chris goes to." Chris announced.
Flashback
Topher was next shown talking with Beth and Lindsay "Are you both on board tonight. Beth, Jay cares for you and we can't lose him. Lindsay I promise to have your loyalty from this point forward. I promise."
Lindsay had an unsure look but Beth whispered and nodded when talking with Beth
Present Time
"Jay!" Chris announced.
"What the hell!" Amy yelled out.
"Yep Trent you are out! You have officially been eliminated from Total Drama Action. Any final words."
"Can I at least see Katie?" Trent asked.
"No can do but she will be thrilled to see you sabotage your team to keep her safe when you guys watch the season." Chris announced.
"What!?" everyone on the Grips sans Jay yelled out.
"I knew it!" Jay said quietly to himself. Amy then had a devious smirk on her face. At that moment Chef picked Trent up and threw him in The Lame-o-Sine with so much force which left most of the team stunned, as Trent was soon out of the game and the tension with the team was thick.
Confessional: Jay
"Wow Topher actually managed to get the votes to keep me. Wow! I will say I still don't trust him. I just get the sense that he is playing Beth. I just wanna make sure she is safe."
Confessional: Topher
"Holy shit! I didn't think that would work. It was such a risk but now I got my core group of allies. I just need to figure out how to keep Beth loyal while breaking it to her that I don't feel the same way she does, but I do wanna remain close friends with her."
Confessional: Amy
"I may be down but I am not out. You should never count this bitch out, if Topher thinks he can make a fool out of me on national Television he has another thing coming. I am not the bitch you mess with."
Right Outside Trailers
Everyone had gone to bed except Jay who was still stunned he was staying and Beth as both sat right outside the boys trailer on the ground but there was a very large awkward tension in the air.
"Look I….." Jay began to say "I am sorry I didn't vote Cody out last time. It's just I had no idea. He's my best friend and I didn't want to see him leave. I imagine the same would be for you and Lindsay. Speaking of which, how are things between you two?"
"Still awkward but we're getting back to our former rhythm. Slowly." Beth told him before continuing. "Jay I just wanna ask, am I wrong for wanting to pursue something with Topher? He's smart, good looking, and so kind to me." Beth asked.
Jay sighed at Beth saying "Yes. If you wanna pursue something with him go right ahead. I will support you no matter what and I am so glad we're friends again. We are friends right?" Jay asked.
"Of course." If seemingly on cue Topher got out of the guys trailer to go to the bathroom and noticed the two of them talking and Beth ran right up to Topher as she and Topher walked away leaving Jay alone. For a minute he was alone watching them when Cody walked up looking disheveled after all the intern work.
"Hey" Cody called out walking to Jay and noting where Jay's line of sight was
Jay spoke up "Hey, I…." Jay said sadly before trailing off.
Cody simply said "Yeah dude, I know, you don't need to say a word." Before patting Jay on the back as the scene transitioned and faded to black as it showed Cody mouthing what he and Tyler went through setting the challenge up.
Spa Reward
Leshawna and Leshaniqua were off screen having their spa reward as Jen and Rock walked off to the side to talk in a secluded spot away from them.
"What's up babe." Rock said "What happened, you aren't your usual confident self." Rock asked.
"Just promise me you won't be mad." Jen asked.
"Of course not no matter what happens with us I will always love you. You're my girl and nothing will ever change that" Rock reassured her while kissing Jen on the cheek.
'That's great. That really is. It's nothing Rock. You're so sweet." Jen said as she decided to just push behind what Brick did and just let things play out at a later date as she noticed how much Rock cared for her and decided to just enjoy a good spa night she desperately needed.

So thus ends Trent's journey. His whole storyline was about throwing challenges to keep his girlfriend Katie in the game but I did want to prolong it a bit longer, and for it to hit the fan this episode as it was gonna get tiresome after a while and I wanted Jay to officially grow a backbone right after. But I also did not want Trent out of a relationship. It is important to note the next chapter will focus on how Katie feels about all this especially with Trent out of the game.
Other highlights. Jen and Brick. Their dynamic was always gonna hit a head this episode. Now that being said after the almost kiss. That being said both will be on the back burner next episode as their plot has reached a huge point so it needs to settle down a bit.
Leshawna. Obviously in canon this was her defining episode that slowly starts her eventual downfall in canon and likewise I wanted her to have the spa reward but also wanted Jen to as well as the Leshawna and Jen bond is a huge one of the season.
Now for the Grips. The Jay, Beth, and Topher dynamic was meant to take a huge step forward this week as well, and like with Brick and Jen this storyline is gonna take a bit of a break as the ending does reveal what I imagine many people suspected that Jay does like Beth in a romantic sense. Let's just say this story is nowhere near done.
Next episode is the horror challenge where as expected the DJ storyline is gonna be a huge focus, and some of the background characters or characters with not much focus (Geoff, Lightning) are also gonna be in the spotlight.
