Chapter 10: Sand Witch Project

Recap

Chris began to describe the previous episode, "Last time on Total Drama Action, it was medical film day as our cast members had to play doctor. On the Gaffers, Leshawna and Jen solidified their duos working together. Both ladies took control of the challenge when the cast fell "sick" and earned themselves a spa day reward for the two ladies to enjoy. Before leaving though, Brick decided to make a move and tried to kiss Jen not once but twice leading to some absolutely awkward tension between the two. On the Grips their losing streak continued as Trent once again threw a challenge but Jay called him out and in a very close vote, Jay won out and Trent was voted out. But for Jay it was a hollow victory as he finally implied he has feelings for Beth. Too bad for Jay the girl he is interested in wants Topher instead of him. Tonight we tackle the horror movie, scares, screams, thrills, fake blood, you name it we got it. Will Jen and Brick work out their awkward tension, will Jay ask Beth out, will Amy get her revenge on Topher, and most importantly who will be eliminated. Find out right here on Total Drama Action."

Intro

Lightning is underwater posing when a shark pulls up and he punches it in the face knocking it out cold.

Harold was avoiding seagulls on a seaboard while Leshawna cheers him on as he keeps successfully dodging them.

You Asked Me What I Wanted To Be

Duncan is the one shooting the seagulls while Courtney glares at him as he turns she pulls a picture of Sadie and Duncan kissing from Season 1 with Duncan looking apologetic while Sadie watches close by with a wig on her head.

Now I Think The Answer is Plain To See

Beth is seen relaxing on a beach side set with sharks while Jay looks on in concern and fear of the sharks.

I Wanna Be Famous

Staci is in the confessional talking until a makeup person blasts her with hairspray to shut her up.

I Wanna Live Close to the Sun

Amy and Samey are jousting each other with sticks on a large pillar while Topher holds a sign having one of the twins face but it's hard to tell who.

DJ and Dawn are busy preparing food with Chef and DJ sweetens it behind Chef's back.

Lindsay accidentally blows a set up from in Chris room while both Cody and Bridgette look stunned at what she did

A bear is shown in the blast glaring at Izzy until Izzy chases it away into Geoff who does not see it coming.

Katie is shown in the lame-o-sine with Trent helping her out as both look lovingly at each other

Brick and Jen are shown chatting in the elimination stands until Jen turns to Tom who looks at her disapprovingly only for Tyler to glare at him

Goes to the aftermath show where Gwen and Noah are close to kissing until they are embarrassed to have the camera on them.

The camera zooms out to show all of the players of the first 2 seasons at the aftermath show as the screen fades to black

Right Outside Trailers

The episode begins with DJ sleeping on the ground with a teddy bear while Dawn was sitting on the ground next to him. During this time Lightning and Geoff kick a soccer ball around and on him.

Lightning in particular looked proud. "He shoots, he scores!" he said, having the ball land on DJ's butt. During this time Amy walked by and Geoff looked at his ex in awe confusing Lightning.

Confessional: Geoff

"So dudes. Ever since this season began I have been meaning to totally talk to my ex girlfriend Amy. Maybe there's a spark or something now that she and Topher are done on both ends. I am gonna see where things stand with her."

Confessional: Lightning

"Love schmove! Who needs love when you can have these" (points at and then kisses his muscles)

Back to Scene

The camera panned to Courtney and Duncan who were sitting near each other in awkward silence. Both clearly trying to avoid looking at each other. The camera then panned to Leshawna, Harold, Brick, and Jen all playing cards or they were except for Brick who clearly had regrets for what he did the previous episode of trying to kiss Jen not once but twice in the last challenge.

Confessional: Brick

"This is so stupid. The academy always told me to never fall for a girl and have my eye on the prize and now I did something that could ruin everything."

Confessional: Harold

"When Leshawna and Jen came back things were just off, Leshawna looked concerned for Jen and Jen looked guilty, I am great at reading people, it's like my ability to do magic. Ta-Da!" (shows an embarrassing picture) "How did that get here?"

Confessional: Leshawna

"Jen still hasn't disclosed what has been bugging her since the spa treatment, I would ask a fellow sister but I think she needs her space."

Back to Scene

Everyone was enjoying the sandwiches that Jen managed to sneak out for everyone. Well everyone except for Dawn and DJ since they both knew why those sandwiches were there and DJ was sleeping. Lindsay however was carrying more sandwiches for everyone to enjoy

Lindsay took a bite of one and told Jen "Oh my gosh Jen I can't believe you snuck these in for all of us to have, they taste so good." Jen however had a nervous look.

Confessional: Jen

"So you're probably wondering why I decided to steal those sandwiches in the craft services tent. Simple, I wanted everyone to enjoy them. Yep, simple as that." Jen said not sounding very convincingly.

Present Time

Lindsay had given everyone sandwiches and along with Beth were hanging out close to the girls cabin out of earshot of everyone as Beth and Lindsay wanted to talk out the whole Cody elimination debacle.

Beth took a deep sigh before speaking "Once again Lindsay I'm sorry I didn't tell you."

Lindsay looked still sad but less so than when she found out about the vote "It's okay. I just wanna make sure us two are still good."

Beth looked almost beside herself "Of course Linds. The plan is us two and Topher at the Final 3. I will never betray you, I will never betray my friends" She excitedly claimed.

Lindsay looked shocked for a second wondering why a certain twin wasn't mentioned, "Not Jay?"

Beth then realized she didn't mention Jay "Well I uh… we'll cross that bridge when we get there okay we can decide which of the guys we want as our Final 3 partner." Beth said nervously, sweating. "Anyway, imagine if there was no challenge today."

Lindsay wanted to further pry into how Beth felt about Jay, as Lindsay still had it in the back of her mind that Sammy liked Topher but so did Beth and she didn't want her best friend Beth to get hurt, but she decided against it and went along with Beth's conversation "Oh my gosh. We could totally just hang out and braid each other's hair. I would love that, bestie.

Amy then soon walked by "Some of us are trying to keep up our strength up to actually win the competition unlike you two or my pathetic sister Samey"

Beth then spoke up "We don't think there is a challenge today. Besides Amy weren't you the one who was left out of the vote last time"

Amy scoffed at this "Maybe I was, but I am here to win a million dollars and the faster I eliminate you two pathetic, spineless followers, the better." Amy said before walking away with a huge smirk.

Lindsay immediately rolled her eyes behind Amy's back "I genuinely can't stand Amanda."

"Amy," Beth corrected.

"Yeah Amy. Regardless, I am so ready for her to go, agreed bestie?" Lindsay asked.

"Agreed. I know Jay can't stand her either." Beth also noted which got a light smirk from Lindsay.

Confessional: Lindsay

Lindsay had an x-ray picture with her in the confessional at the start, "You see those little bumps back there? Those are totally a spine. I am not a follower. Like at cheerleading, I'm right in the middle of the pyramid. And when all my sisters and I decide on something, like where to go shopping or whatevs, I'm always the third vote. That's not… oh. I should probably change."

"Anyways I am back to being Beth's bestie. She is too great to not be best friends with. But this whole crush situation with Topher is just not good. Something doesn't feel right about this and I don't know if Beth realizes it."

Back to Present

Chris' voice rang out for everyone to hear "Attention all Total Drama victims! Please meet me in the northeast corner of the Studio Palooza! Bring lozenges! It's horror movie time. The screaming is gonna hurt."

Beth gulped at having another challenge and looked scared "There is a challenge. Just promise we can still do the hair braiding?"

Lindsay looked excited and said "I think I'll do French".

The show then flashed to show everyone walking up the hill with Geoff talking to Amy "Hey Amy I just wanted to see where things stand between us. It's been great seeing you again."

"Yeah it's been fun or whatever. Ugh! Stupid Samey she so organized that last vote to get rid of your friend Trent." Amy said manipulatively.

"Yeah dudette. That's awful. I was wondering if maybe you wanted to hang out today or something during the challenge?" Geoff said as he wanted to change the subject.

"Uh…"

Confessional: Amy

"Okay so obviously Geoff is more focused on me, than me trying to get rid of Samey. Also it's clear he's not over me, I mean who wouldn't be when you look like this and not Samey. But I don't know if there's a future with Geoff. I mean we broke up once, who's to say it won't happen again."

Start of Challenge

Everyone had finally made it to the top of the hill when Amy walked around in anger at their being no Chris "We walk all the way over here and Lieutenant Asshat can't even be bothered to show up?"

Lightning didn't seem bothered "Maybe he's racked up too much overtime figuring out new ways to torture the Lightning"

Amy rolled her eyes but before she could say anything Tyler shouted out off screen "Land ho!" and soon Chris was seen falling out of the sky and he landed on the ground missing the mark but showing blood all around his butt.

Everyone sans Beth screamed at the sight but Chris himself wasn't in a good mood "Damn it Tyler!" he yelled out standing up.

Lindsay noted Beth's lack of scream in amazement "I can't believe you're so unscarable! You didn't even scream! I am impressed."

Beth realized she would have to explain to Lindsay "I did on the inside. I just can't do it on the outside."

Jay looked confused "What are you talking about? Do you have a sore throat"

Beth looked at Jay with confusion "Nope, perfectly healthy. See, when I was ten, and they were doing my tonsillectomy, there was a freak accident and the doctor's earring fell in my throat. Can't scream worth a darn."

Jay looked amazed "Wait it's been stuck in you for 6 years? Wow!"

Lindsay was also shocked. "Shut up, you're lying girl."

Beth shook her head at Lindsay "Nope."

Chris decided to continue on "As much as I would love to hear about Beth's tragic backstory. It's time for today's totally terrifying, blood-curdling horror movie challenge! To figure out which team gets which challenge, a scream-off! Think of every great horror movie you've ever seen"

Sammy sighed in annoyance "Ugh do I have to be reminded me of Saw"

Topher looked at Sammy in shock "You watched Saw?"

Sammy was looking nervous talking to her crush in Topher. "Yeah Amy showed it to me when we were like 10."

Topher meanwhile was thinking of his first horror movie, "I saw Scream when I was like 12. Freaked me out."

Chris decided to interrupt the two "All horror movies have one thing in common. Fantastic screaming from actors and the killers who snuff them. Each team picks a serial killer. The rest of you will be the screamers. If your serial killer can make you scream the loudest, your team wins, each screamers will be in groups of two by the way so teams get picking"

Screaming Gaffers

The Gaffers were all gathered around, Katie was holding the mask for the challenge as she started the scene "We have to pick Duncan, of course. Have you ever seen someone look like a serial killer?" Katie said.

Harold was shuttering in fear "I'm terrified of him on a daily basis."

Leshawna reassured him "It's okay sweetie. Also, he nailed the other acting challenge."

Chef then walked in the scene to interfere, "DJ's gotta do it!"

Harold was beside himself "But it's the first time our team's ever agreed on anything and most of us hate each other."

Courtney made sure to speak up at that moment "That's for damn sure." Harold and Leshawna heard that comment and glared at her.

Chef was not swayed and stood his ground "DJ is doing it."

Duncan tried to walk up to Chef and force him out "Uh, listen, Chef. Maybe you can stick to your area of expertise with the sandwiches, and I'll stick to mine."

Chef was about to hurt and twist Duncan's arm when DJ spoke up "I'll do it. Everyone, just leave me alone."

Confessional: Dawn

"I can just tell DJ is getting consumed with guilt over this whole thing with Chef. He needs out of this place and I have to help him."

Back to Gaffers

As Chef walked out Leshawna had her hands on her hips "Something smells fishy here since when does Chef interfere in challenges?"

Harold thought Leshawna was talking about him as he took out a smelly sandwich out of his pocket "No that's me. I was saving it for later." Everyone gagged at the sight of that.

Killer Grips

Topher was holding onto the mask, while Beth looked at him in awe, meanwhile Lindsay looked annoyed as she had an idea but no one was paying attention to her, while all 3 of Lightning, Geoff and Amy were standing around. Amy was first to speak up saying "You guys gotta let me be the killer! The mask offers good protection for my beautiful face!"

Topher snide back "Then Sammy should do it, she's not the one with the disgusting mole on her face."

Amy looked offended that her ex insulted her like that. "How dare you, it's a beauty mark."

Lightning however also thought Amy shouldn't be the killer "Come on Amy, Lightning knows there is nothing scary about a cute cheerleader."

Lindsay was walking around trying to object "Hey, you guys? Um, Beth?" Lindsay tried to get Beth's attention but she was starstruck by Topher as usual.

Amy butted in "No use Lindsay no one would listen to your suggestions anyway. Although the mask would hide Sammy's hideous face."

Topher immediately came to Sammy's defense "Once again you're identical and she doesn't have the mole."

Lindsay took a step back from all the conversations as no one was listening to her, Jay decided to talk to Lindsay as he was the only one not immediately distracted.

"Lindsay, what's wrong?" Jay asked.

"Nothing Jay. No one's listening to me. I think Beth should be the killer since the whole non screaming thing but no one seems to care." Lindsay pouted.

Jay had a quizzical look when an idea sprung in his eyes "Hey Lindsay do you have any flowers or anything?" Jay asked.

"I have these orchids," Lindsay said, looking around in her purse for the flowers that were in there "I don't know what orchids have to do with it."

"Perfect. I'm allergic to them and I will give a big sneeze, that should get everyone to stop arguing and you take the floor." Jay explained as at that moment Amy and Sammy were arguing with Topher supporting Sammy as Beth looked at Topher in awe while Geoff and Lightning were still trying to persuade Amy to be the leader. "Count of three put them near me and I should have a big sneeze.

"Okay" Lindsay said looking nervous.

"One…. Two….. Three." Jay called out as Lindsay put the flowers in Jay's face "Ah Choo!" Jay yelled out.

"Bless you" everyone sans Lindsay and Jay on the team called out to Jay.

Lindsay realized now was her chance to speak "Beth is going to be our serial killer and that is that!" she ordered, stunning everyone sans Jay. "Beth's a non-screamer. We have to have her as the killer or we're going down!"

Amy then walked up to Lindsay "Okay fine miss high and mighty but if your plan to have Beth as our serial killer backfires it's your neck on the chopping block. Deal?" Amy said, trying to intimidate Lindsay.

"Deal" Lindsay said extending her arm out to a handshake which Amy ignored and walked away angrily

Confessional: Lindsay

"Can I just tell you that taking charge like that felt so delicious! It was almost better than being pretty. Well, almost. Besides, even if Amy tries to threaten me there is no way Beth or Jay will vote me out."

First Part of Challenge

Topher and Sammy were doing the first part of the challenge for the Grips while for the Gaffers it was Harold and Jen. For Harold he had a little bit of snot coming out of his nose which both Topher and Jen noticed.

"Dude you should get that checked out" Topher said, noticing it.

"Yeah that's like, so disgusting to look at." Jen also commented. However for her it was still to get her mind off of the whole Brick situation as normally she'd be a bit more snippy.

Harold however was annoyed at all of them "It's a medical condition. Back off." Topher did so immediately and walked away but Jen walked away guilty and Harold took notice "Jen, what's wrong?" Harold asked.

"Why does everyone assume something is wrong with me?" Jen huffed in anger afterwards.

Chris cut the tension with starting the challenge "All right. Topher & Sammy for the Grips and Harold & Jen for the , prepare yourselves for your killers to enter! And then, I want huge, massive, ginormous screams! We'll be measuring the volume on our scream-o-meter! Lights! Camera! Action!"

The scene then transitions to Beth's point of view behind the mask as she gets ready to scare Topher and Sammy, however as she moves behind the bushes she started to overhear Topher and Sammy's conversation.

"Ugh this challenge is freaking me out." Sammy said, walking nervously around the set.

"It's okay Sammy. Beth will try to scare both of us and we just have to fake scream." Topher reassured her. "Besides it's Beth she's not that scary but we can fake it."

"That's true. I'm glad you're here Topher by the way, you're a good friend." Sammy said but one could tell her tone was not convincing in a friendly sense.

Beth had enough but due to hearing Topher and Sammy she accidentally tripped over herself and landed on the ground and having no mask on or the knife as she panicked and dropped both before revealing herself. "Oof!"

"Oh my gosh" Sammy yelled out "Are you okay?" Sammy asked, helping her up.

"Yeah I'm fine. Did we score? Did you guys scream?" Beth asked back just hoping she didn't completely embarrass herself.

"No, neither of us screamed." Topher explained.

"Well then go ahead" Beth encouraged still unaware she was missing all her items

"Um Beth the mask?" Sammy noted.

"Time's up!" Chris yelled out. "Ooh you guys scored nothing for this part of the challenge. Screaming Gaffers you're up!"

DJ and Chef were hiding behind a tree on the set with DJ looking unsure "I don't think I can do this. Scaring isn't in my nature." Chef however roared to DJ which got him scared enough and he bumped into Harold and Jen

Harold didn't think anything of it however "Oh! Hey, DJ. What's up?"

DJ put on the mask and growled at Harold scaring him, hearing Harold's scream Jen herself also screamed as well however her yell was so loud it broke a camera lens.

Chris however was very satisfied with the result, "With a solid fifty on the scream-o-meter, let's notch one up for DJ, Harold, Jen and the Screaming Gaffers. Jen you've got some lungs on her."

"Yeah that was very impressive Jen." Harold reassured her as she looked a bit embarrassed.

Confessional: Jen

"It's just second nature for me to scream when someone else does. Like one time Tom had a stain on his shirt and I screamed when I saw it. Man I miss him, he would help me sort out this whole mess with Brick."

Second Part of The Challenge

The camera flashed to a 4 way shot of each of Lindsay, Jay, Leshawna, and Brick in the bathroom stall for the second part of the challenge. The camera then went to Leshawna first who was annoyed "There is some serious indignity going on in this scenario. I mean, I'm being filmed sitting on the potty! Who gets off on doing this crap."

Brick was next "I hate the dark so much, this is fine Brick. This will help the team." Brick tried to reassure himself but one could tell he was freaked.

Jay was the third one up to give his thoughts "Not the most embarrassing thing I've experienced. I once went to a surprise party for Cody and someone failed to mention there was a confetti cannon which I am allergic to. Got blasted and had to go to the hospital that night."

Lindsay was the last one to comment "That was an accidental tinkle on screen last season. I'm not doing it again. And how am I supposed to be scared when I know Beth is coming in any minute and she's not scary at all." Lindsay reasoned as Beth opened the door with the mask on but the mere sight of the mask on Beth made Lindsay scream.

DJ tried to scare Brick but being in a dark confined space caused Brick to pass out before DJ could scare him, DJ took note "I'll uh get Leshawna's help." DJ awkwardly said

Lindsay kept on screaming as Beth wasn't even scaring her anymore as she noted "You're doing amazing Lindsay. I'm not even scaring you." Beth noted taking the mask off "I'll go scare Jay. Great idea Lindsay."

DJ walked in on Leshawna's booth next "Oh! I-I-I'm sorry, I-I busted in on your private moment. Boy, is my face red." DJ said, sounding very embarrassed.

Leshawna however was just irritated "You wanna win? Do the scene, DJ!"

DJ tried to sound scary with a simple "Rawr" but what happened to Brick was on his mind "Actually Leshawna could you help me Brick is passed out in his booth."

"You scared him, that badly DJ? Here I was thinking you were a big ole teddy bear." Leshawna said, laughing a bit.

"Um, he passed out before I even could scare him." DJ told Leshawna as he was still scared for him.

"Oh that's not good." Leshawna reasoned.

Meanwhile in Jay's stall he was still talking to himself "Mickey did a great job as a tree at the school play even if the school board lost a good chunk of money for the damage on set. That, and he won't ever admit he did a good job."

Beth then showed up "Rawrr!" she yelled out lightly which got Jay to yell. Not as loud as Lindsay but still pretty bad. Beth was proud of herself but realized real quickly that Jay was pretty freaked out, "Jay, Jay snap out of it!" Beth yelled out which got Jay to finally calm down. "It's just me."

"Sorry, you just caught me by surprise and I'm easily scared. I assume we got the team a point." Jay asked.

"You didn't even have too, Lindsay screamed her heart out. I just wanted to scare you for extra reassurances." Beth told him as she found the whole thing funny and it was a good distraction from what was bothering her earlier with Topher and Sammy.

The camera then flashed to Chris outside "And that's round two to Beth, Lindsay, Jay. and the Killer Grips. With a pee-fueled eighty-five on the scream-o-meter!"

Jay yelled off screen "I didn't pee myself."

Beth laughed at Jay's reaction "No that was Lindsay. We should make sure she's okay." After Beth, Jay and Chris walked off, Chef appeared behind the booth

"Hmm, if DJ won't step up, the other half of the alliance has to" Chef pondered to himself

Third Part of The Challenge

Chris was standing with Geoff and Amy for the Grips and for the Gaffers it was Duncan and Courtney "All right, guys. This is the tiebreaker scene. You're gonna have to act your faces off."

Geoff looked at the script nervously "Oh, boy. I'm not the world's greatest actor, Amy dude."

Amy chuckled nervously at Geoff's attempt at flirting "How much more horror movie is this? We have to make out. Luckily we have expertise in that" Amy said fake flirting with him.

"Aw hell yeah" Geoff said he was feeling genuine and soon he and Amy were making out. Much to Chris annoyance/

"Awkward."

Meanwhile with Duncan and Courtney

Courtney looked at the script and immediately was disgusted "No. No, no, no. I would rather die."

Duncan however was beside himself "Really? I am not that bad of a kisser and we've only kissed once."

"It's not you kissing it's just" Courtney tried to explain.

"It's what? I have been flirting with you again, I ended things infinitely with Sadie, and I want you Courtney" Duncan tried to explain himself. "This making out session will mean nothing."

"But what if it does, Duncan I can't be in a relationship with you when you broke my trust, who's to say…" Courtney began going on until Chris interrupted.

"If you don't start kissing you will lose the challenge for your team." Chris explained.

"Let's just get this over with," Courtney said to herself as she and Duncan reluctantly kissed. DJ popped up from behind to try and scare either of them but the awkward tension was still there and neither reacted.

With Grips

Amy and Geoff kept making out even if only one of them was enjoying it. Beth popped up on top of the couch to try and scare them "Urgh! I'm gonna chop you into little teriyaki bits!" However neither noticed them and then Beth called them out "Guys"

Geoff and Amy did finally notice "Oh! Aah!" Neither said convincingly before kissing again as Beth looked annoyed that she may have cost the team the challenge.

On the other end of the challenge the awkward air quickly evaporated when Chef showed up in a mask and chainsaw near Duncan, Courtney, and DJ getting all three to scream and for DJ to completely faint.

Chris walked up to Duncan, Courtney, Chef and a now passed out DJ to talk to all of them "Well, looks to me like DJ and the well-named Screaming Gaffers have won this round, seeing as they buried the needle. Join us after the break to see if DJ's still alive. DJ? Come in, DJ."

[commercial break]

The whole group was surrounded by DJ with Dawn in particular looking sad as he was still not coming too. Beth was the first to comment "Is he breathing?"

Jay spoke up "Yes he's breathing, I've seen not breathing and that's not him." Jay explained with everyone looking at him oddly "Have enough bad luck like me or my brother, go to the hospital you end up seeing what someone not breathing is like."

"Dude you live a sick life" Geoff complimented as he was amazed Jay was still around given his bad luck.

Jay however was weirded out by the whole thing "Thanks?" he questioned.

Leshawna interrupted the two when she heard DJ mumbling "I think he's saying something!"

The cameras panned to DJ who was talking in his sleep as everyone sat him in his chair as he talked in his sleep "Mama! I'm here! Mama! It's me, mama. It's poopy-doo. Your little Devon Joseph poopy-doo." DJ called out which got everyone to laugh at the nickname DJ's mom gave him, however DJ's voice turned into a perfect imitation of his mother's when he said "The son I raised would never lie! Or cheat!"

Courtney who was standing right beside DJ yelled out in frustration, "Okay that's enough" and she smacked DJ coldly in the face.

DJ woke up and was feeling his cheeks when he said "I need to see Chef!" This prompted a second smack in the face from Courtney.

Katie took immediate offense to Courtney smacking DJ "Courtney, what the heck was that for"

Courtney however didn't seem bothered by her actions "What? He's still talking crazy."

Chris walked up to explain the situation "Chefs in a meeting with the producers. A disciplinary meeting. He's in trouble! Not allowed to mess with the challenges."

Chef and The Producers

A figure in the shadows was talking to Chef "Let me make this very clear to you Chef tonight either you or DJ is outing the alliance in front of everyone tonight, we were fine with this alliance when it didn't impact challenges directly but if you are gonna blatantly help a contestant out then we either fire your ass right now and stop it, or you and said contestant have to out it." the man explained.

Chef looked pissed off at the notion but he knew deep down the producer was right, "Look, can I talk to DJ for how we will go about it?"

Back to Present

Leshawna was annoyed that her hunch was right and that Chef had been involved "I knew something was up. That was too suspicious if you ask me."

Harold was amazed by Leshawna but said something that freaked everyone out "You're like Albert Einstein with better hair and girly bits" he said a little creepy.

Leshawna looked over at Harold in shock at what he had just said and told her boyfriend "Harold baby I love you. Please don't say anything like that again okay?"

"Yes Leshawna."Harold said sounding humiliated at what he said.

Chris broke the conversation "Okay since the last challenge ended in a tie, it's time to pack up those overnight bags, loser Grips. You and your sleeping bags are spending the night in the dining hall. Gaffer winners, back to the comfort of the trailers for a little R and R. I'll see you there in half an hour as this last part will determine the winner of the challenge."

Craft Service Tent

Chris and the Grips were in the dining hall with Amy and Lightning hanging out at first, "This place could be worse, there should be food and some protein for the Lightning." Lightning proudly boasted.

Amy however scoffed at Lightning's arrogant bragging "The Lightning? You are so smug."

"Maybe but who wouldn't be when you look like this" Lightning once again boasted.

"You are unbearable! Ugh!" Amy yelled out in frustration walking to the rest of her teammates in annoyance.

Chris instructed Lightning and Jay who were kissing their muscles and freaking out about the challenge respectively to join the others "Guys, you mind joining us here? I'm about to tell you… why this film lot was abandoned and closed. Ronnie the Rent-a-cop, a designated security guard who worked here for twenty-five loyal years until her mysterious death right here… on this very spot! Now, her desperate and uneasy spirit walks the lot. No one has ever managed to spend a whole night in this craft service tent. Your task? Spend the whole night here without leaving this tent. If you manage to do so, your team gets immunity and nobody goes home. Track any psychic phenomenon using these ghost meters. And just in case…" Chris said about to hand out a tiny flashlight to Beth as he was putting away his old one, however in an action that shocked everyone Jay in a fit of adrenaline grabbed the big flashlight from Chris hands.

"Give me that freaking flashlight!" Jay yelled out, ripping it from Chris' hands as everyone stood shocked.

"Okay fine, get away from me you animal!" Chris yelled back, walking away wondering what caused the normally timid Jay to suddenly nearly attack Chris.

Confessional: Jay

"Whenever my brother and I are feeling extremely scared, it doesn't happen often but we get a huge rush of adrenaline, that story just freaked me out way too much for comfort."

Outside The Trailers

Chris was walking up to the Gaffers looking a bit scratched up "The Killer Grips are sitting in the craft services tent like sitting ducks. Your task is to make like special effects gurus, and frighten the pants off them. Or at least scare them enough to get them out of the tent before dawn." Chris then noticed Brick was freaking out. "What's wrong with him?"

Katie answered as she was comforting Brick "He's afraid of the dark, like deathly afraid."

Brick was muttering to himself "The dark can't hurt me, can't touch me, everything is fine." But one could tell he was freaked out.

Courtney decided to ask "How are we supposed to scare them?"

Chris didn't care and shrugged his shoulders. " It's your call. But if you get them out, your team wins invincibility and nobody goes home. Oh, just so you know, I told them some cockamamie story about a security guard who died on set."

DJ was still unsure and looked over to his teammates "How are we gonna pull this off? There's 8 of them we have to scare out of the place."

Leshawna was confident however, boasting "Just turn out the lights, Beth's afraid of her own shadow."

Katie, who was still comforting DJ, laughed at that "Heh. Beth being afraid of her shadow is why she had her own room last season. Let's not give her a heart attack though."

Duncan had his own ideas. " Chainsaws! I love a good chainsaw!"

Courtney was offended at that notion "You ogre, there's no chainsaws around here."

Harold however decided he himself should take charge of this challenge " I got it! Just follow my lead."

Right Outside Craft Services Tent

DJ was holding a fishing pole with Harold attaching his 'ghost' to the pole. "Thank you, my lovely assistants. Now The Magnificent Harold is ready to scare our opponents into submission with the phantasm ball!"

Jen leaned over to Leshawna and whispered in her ear, "What do you see in this guy?"

Leshawna whispered back "I don't know, he is kind to me and treats me like a queen, besides what do you see in Brick?"

Jen asked, "What are you talking about?"

Leshawna interrupted Duncan and Harold's off screen squabble about Harold's trick. "Jen and I are gonna go to the bathroom" and Leshawna grabbed Jen's hands.

Jen was confused "What was that about, I don't have to go to the bathroom, I mean I don't mind leaving the rest of them to do the challenge because I hate scary movies, with all the blood-"

Leshawna interrupted Jen's rambling "Yeah I don't care about the challenge, or had to go to the bathroom. What is up with you and Brick? You guys were best friends all over each other, and now you are both acting shady and haven't said a word to each other since the spa day. I know the challenge is freaking you out. But ever since we came back from the spa trip it's like you are distant from him." Leshawna explained.

"It's nothing." Jen reassured Leshawna. "I am still loyal to the four, it's just seeing Rock my boyfriend is just a lot still. Look what I am about to tell you I don't want you to tell anyone else including Harold, understand Leshawna"

"Girl, I can keep a secret, spill." Leshawna said but before Jen could say anything Katie walked over to the ladies.

"There you two are, we need your help. Harold's plan failed big time and Duncan is pissed at Harold" Katie explained to both girls.

"What did my sweet Harold do and does Duncan need a beat down?" Leshawna asked, walking back to the Craft Services Tent.

"Nah, Harold stole his stuff to do this trick. See after you guys left-." Katie started to explain as the show flash back.

Flashback

Duncan was annoyed that his ideas about chainsaws were shot down and that of all people Harold would be the one doing this challenge " I can't believe we're putting our team's fate in the hands of The Great Dorko."

Harold himself was also annoyed with Duncan and You will quake, mortal. Before all I've learned at Magic Steve's Magic Camp. Behold!" Harold said trying to impress his team as he saw this as the perfect opportunity to start emerging as a leader on the Gaffers.

Craft Services Tent

Lightning, Amy, Lindsay, and Beth were playing cards while Topher and Sammy laid down on the other table casually chatting, Jay was nervously walking around and Geoff watched the four people play as Lightning called out "Do you have a seven?"

Lindsay was shocked as she did in fact have a seven "How do you always know? It's like you're psychotic!"

Amy facepalmed at Lindsay's explaining "That's not what psychotic means you dummy!" Amy yelled at Lindsay who she was seeing as her rival for control of the team.

Beth however noticed Harold's fake ghost and began a wheezing scream at the sight of it. Lindsay however thought she was talking about "Yeah it's like he has SNP"

Amy however had enough of Lindsay's idiotic tendencies "There's a ghost you dumb blonde ditz!" Amy yelled out "We are leaving this place." Everyone sans Lidsay, Sammy and Topher were getting ready to leave.

Lindsay however had the ghost meter on hand and she noticed nothing changed "Wait! I said wait! The ghost meter's aren't reading anything!"

"As team leader I say we leave though and that's final!" Amy snapped back however Lindsay walked over to the ghost ball to prove Amy wrong.

Confessional: Lindsay

"Who does Amy think she is doing all that nonsense? I am really grooving on this suggesting business. I think it totally fits me! But here comes bossy Amy doing this stuff. I am gonna tell Beth and Jay that Amy has to be the next one to go."

Confessional: Amy

"I should have gotten rid of that blonde bimbo when we got rid of Cody. She is such a pain in the ass, and now she thinks she can be a leader? At least she's not as bad as Samey. Oh wait she is! Because Samey knows her place with me"

Confessional: Topher

"On the one hand it's great that Amy and Lindsay are fighting because it keeps the attention off me, Sammy, and Beth who are my core group of allies on this team. On the other hand, those two going at it, is starting to get tiresome."

Craft Services Tent

Lindsay was on the table about to pull the ghost sheet off in confidence with Amy looking unimpressed, while Lightning looked freaked out "Great snakes on a stick! Lindsay is about to die." he yelled out.

Lindsay confidently pulled it off as Jay fainted at the sight of it and Beth was shocked, "Oh, my gosh! It's just a trick!" Beth yelled out "Way to go Chris!"

"Uh dudes, Jay isn't looking too hot." Geoff noticed.

"Oh right I forgot horror movies freak him out" Beth noticed.

"I'll uh leave him in the trailer and make sure he's okay." Geoff said as he luckily had enough strength to carry Jay all by himself and both were now out of the challenge as they had left the tent.

Outside Craft Service Tent

Duncan walked up to Harold and kicked him in the leg "You put a freaking hook in my soccer ball? What the hell!" Duncan said angrily.

Harold who was on the ground in pain and tried to defend himself "It was all in the name of magic! You have to admit, it was quite effective. We got two of them out."

Courtney rolled her eyes at this "Yeah only because Jay is afraid of his own shadow."

Duncan also spoke up "Zip it Harold Houdini, I am stepping into this challenge we may not have chainsaws but I can still scare them. Katie, go get Harold's girlfriend Leshawna, and Jen we'll need everyone here for this one."

End Flashback

"Do you know what Duncan is creating?" Jen asked as the girls were now entering the tent.

"No clue. Harold's not pleased though." Katie explained.

Kitchen from within Craft Services Tent

Each of the girls (Katie, Jen, and Leshawna) were walking in as Duncan was working on the fake blood "Needs more corn syrup, really scabby" Duncan said after tasting it.

DJ called out "I'll get you some dude!" however Dawn followed him with the two talking off screen.

Leshawna looked at the fake blood and for once she was impressed "Respect, Duncan! It really looks like blood!"

Duncan decided to have a light brag after Leshawna's comment "Devil's night, my brothers used to wait outside kindergarten with this goop dripping off them. One year, they gave a dozen five-year-olds seizures."

Leshawna however was offended at Duncan's retelling of that story "And… respect deleted."

Duncan was offended at Leshawna for saying that "What? I didn't partake in it."

"You said you did pranks last season to Sadie? Isn't that one of them?" Courtney asked.

"Well yeah I did pranks but I wouldn't cause kids seizures, I'm not barbaric. An asshole yes, but not irredeemable at least I don't think" Duncan explained getting back to his creation.

DJ soon walked back to the group handing Duncan more corn syrup which Harold noticed "You really know your way around this kitchen" Harold asked DJ who just had a sheepish smile walking away nervously.

Boys Trailer

Geoff was carrying an unconscious Jay back to the trailers over his shoulders "It's okay little dude" Geoff said to himself and Jay as he set Jay on his bed and soon Jay began to stir awake.

"Wha, huh where am I?" Jay said, stirring awake "Geoff what are you doing here and why are we back in the trailer?"

"Tiny dude, you passed out seeing a ghost that turned out to be a soccer ball, pretty sure Duncan's but dude I decided to take you to the trailer to make sure you didn't panic any more." Geoff explained.

"Thanks" Jay said rather coyly, he had a lot of reservations talking to Geoff as he saw Geoff as someone who would just use him and dispose of him to save his own skin.

"Is something wrong Jay?" Geoff asked. "Still feeling the effects of you fainting?"

"Yeah, yeah" Jay quickly deflected, "Does this mean we are out of the challenge?"

"Unfortunately dude, yes." Geoff said a bit sadly, "Is something else wrong though, you are acting kind of odd, I'm here for you if you need someone to talk to in this game, especially since your friend Cody is busy with intern stuff." Geoff explained walking away to the bathroom as Jay was left pondering.

Confessional: Geoff

"I never like seeing people down, hence why I helped Jay out. Dude fainted and even after stirring awake he still seemed almost completely closed off. Dude, I don't know, such odd behavior."

Confessional: Jay

"I always said heading into these types of shows if I ever got on, never make any alliances because I am soft meat and easily disposed of."

A person off screen's voice all of a sudden came on "Then what do you call you and Beth?"

"A friendship. Nothing more, nothing less. Anyways, but Geoff does seem like a nice guy to maybe talk to. I don't know, everything right now feels so complicated, Cody is way too busy to help me, and Beth is still goo goo over Topher, what she sees in him I do not know." the person off screen once again spoke up although it was just a laugh which offended Jay who looked at the guy in bewilderment "What? Stop looking at me like that."

Craft Service Tent

Beth, Topher, Sammy and Lindsay were playing cards together while Lightning and Amy watched on as Betth decided to ask Topher "Do you have a ten?"

Topher decided to flirt with Beth a bit in tone asking "Maybe. Care to make it interesting?" however he noticed the walls oozing red as he panicked saying out loud "The… walls! Run!"

Lindsay however used the ghost meters and smelt the thing "Wait. What do you guys smell? I don't get anything from this?" Lindsay caled out

Lightning who was panicked said out loud "Fear! And fear smells like…ketchup?" he realized when he smelled the air.

Lindsay "Exactly. Lick the walls, Lightning." however Lightning hesitated which got Lindsay further annoyed "I said, lick the walls, Lightning!"

Amy, who was once again fed up, walked up to Lindsay nearly yelling at her "Back off Lindsay the dimwit, Lightning doesn't have to do what you say!"

"Then why don't you lick the walls Amy" Lindsay taunted.

"Nah, Lightning can," Amy said, pushing Lightning in front of the walls. Lightning, although scared, decided to take a bit of the red stuff and tried it and confirmed it was ketchup.

Kitchen in Craft Services Tent

Courtney was busy removing the red ketchup off the wall covered in it and clearly annoyed "Anyone else have any brilliant ideas? Anybody who's not Duncan?"

Duncan however was annoyed at Courtney's annoyance at him "At least I came up with an idea."

Leshawna nodded at Duncan's assortment, "It's not like me to agree with Duncan, but I agree. DJ hasn't said anything and anybody that quiet's gotta be thinking something."

DJ however looked nervous as his conscience was starting to really consume him, I don't like scaring people. Mama said it's not gentlemanly, and–"

Leshawna however had enough as she was ready to win the challenge and more importantly go to bed "Well, mama ain't here, is she?"

"And Papa Duncan wants to win and go to bed! So who has another idea?" Duncan asked around.

Brick and to a lesser extent Katie then both remembered something "Didn't Chris say something about a story about a security guard?" Katie asked.

"Right, if we can find a security guard outfit, we should be able to win," Brick excitedly said. "I have an idea, Dawn, go find the uniform, I also took a look at the ghost meters and if you hit the little button on top it should go off so that should make Lindsay scared." Just then Dawn came back with the uniform and Brick checked it out, "Perfect, Katie this is just your size. Put it on."

Katie tried it on but didn't enjoy it. "Ugh this isn't the most flattering look."

Jen however loved the look "Nah girl you pull off the cop look really well, you would make an excellent fashion model."

Duncan however was getting annoyed "Okay anyways as much as I would love to admire Katie's fashion choices, I want some sleep so Brick, what's the point of all of this?"

"Harold has his spare rope. Duncan you and Courtney kill the lights, DJ you and Dawn be ready with the forks to hit the ghost meters to freak Lindsay out, Leshawna you and Jen are gonna make spooky ghost sound effects to help scare them, and finally Harold keep Katie suspended in the air with the rope while Katie dangles around. I found some walkie talkies to keep us all communicated, everyone but Katie grab one, I'll give the go ahead to Duncan and Courtney to kill the lights, DJ give Leshawna the heads up, and from there we should win" Brick instructed.

"Since when did captain scaredy pants here grow a spine" Duncan said annoyed.

"Look if this blows up in my face I will take the fall for all of you guys and volunteer for discharge and leave the game, but I am willing to take this risk." Brick confidently said.

"Okay let's do this," Courtney said proudly as everyone headed out.

Final Scene of Challenge

Lindsay and Beth were the last ones playing cards with Lindsay telling Beth "Give me all your twos!" just then the light was cut off from inside freaking everyone sans Lindsay out.]

Beth who was very scared "Um, is it okay if I give you my twos later?"

Duncan was shown with the power switch with Courtney "Night has fallen. All systems are a go!"

DJ responded next "Excellent work, Eclipse. Foxy ladies, are you there?"

Leshawna spoke for her and Jen "Foxy ladies at the ready."

Lindsay was shown confidently and everyone else was scared with Beth and Sammy both holding Topher while Amy held Lightning, but she seemed oblivious "Remember, everyone. This is just Chris trying to scare us, and Lindsay's team doesn't give up!"

Amy broke free from Lightning's grip and at this point she couldn't take it "Lindsay's team"?" she yelled out and soon both her and Lindsay were fighting on the ground as it was pretty clear neither could co-exist without the other. Lightning watched in awe, Sammy watched hoping Lindsay would beat up her sister Amy, Topher and Beth however were embarrassed about both of them in fighting, Leshawna and Jen then began doing a haunting scream which broke up Amy and Lindsay's fight.

Harold had Katie hung up on the roof and kept her lightly swinging around as he communicated "That's a go from Magic Harold and his assistant Katie."

Lightning said out loud "It's a poltergeist! Let's get out of here." As everyone sans Lindsay left the tent as she still had the Ghost Meter in hand.

Lindsay however was still not convinced "Wait! The ghost meters still aren't going off!" However both Dawn and DJ threw forks to make sure the ghost meter went off which caused Lindsay to scream leaving, officially making the Gaffers the winners.

Leshawna had her megaphone in hand while Lindsay was running away scared to notice either her or Jen. "That's how we win it! Whoo! Come over here Jen give me a hug girl."

"So excited, great job Leshawna you should like totally, do voice acting. You're a natural" Jen complimented.

The next thing shown was Katie celebrating while wearing the outfit "Yes! We won!" however she saw a guilt stricken DJ walking by and she was very concerned "DJ? Are you okay? DJ?" Soon Harold let Katie down but DJ was still guilt ridden and even though the team was celebrating DJ couldn't take it any more, something Dawn noticed but Brick commented.

"Soldier, DJ what's wrong?" Brick asked as the scene faded out.

Gilded Chris Award Ceremony

After the montage showing Chris the camera panned to the Grips as Chris began the ceremony "Now, fraidy-cat Grips, it's time to announce who will not win a Gilded Chris this week! Who deserves to go home bitterly disappointed, tears in their eyes? And the Gilded Chrises go to… Geoff, Lightning, Beth, Topher, Jay, and Sammy. Still on the chopping block are Amy and Lindsay." Chris announced,

Lindsay was shocked at the news "What? I can't be going. Why would people be mad at me? Beth, what's going on?"

Beth looked extremely nervous "You were a little… bossy. But I did not vote for you I promise."

Lindsay was a bit clueless why she was rubbing people the wrong way, "Hello! It's called leadership."

Amy at this point butted in "No it's called being a stupid dictator like you are."

Topher who knew both ladies were gonna just start bickering "Both of you shut up, just shut up already." he yelled at both Lindsay and Amy who agreed

Chris continued on, "And the final Gilded Chris goes too…..

DJ's voice came up suddenly, shocking everyone "Stop! I'm gonna do what I should've done long ago! Make mama proud. I'm voting myself off! Chef, is there something you wanna say or do you want me to reveal it."

Chef just sighed at that as he knew he had to come clean, "Yes, I proposed an alliance with DJ we both accepted it. That was why I helped in this last challenge and forced my way in the game."

At this everyone sans Dawn, DJ, and Chef gasped at that notion with DJ continuing on "Yes, he's been tutoring and coaching me in the challenges, the guilt is something I just can't take anymore. It's consumed me, I felt trapped and I want out of this game."

Chris decided to interject at this point "Okay I am gonna speak up, it's pretty clear that DJ is not changing his mind and as of this moment DJ you are no longer in the running to win the million dollars in this game. Dawn I noticed you didn't have a reaction, did you know about this in advance?"

"Yes I did Chris and that's why I myself also want to leave the game as well. I think I need to be there for DJ more than I need to be here in this game." Dawn explained.

"Okay we will accept that. Here's where we are now DJ and Dawn are both out of the game on their own accord so Grips consider yourselves lucky specifically Amy and Lindsay as tonight was supposed to be a surprise double elimination for the losing team and you were both supposed to go home tonight, so both of you better not take this second chance for granted. DJ, Dawn, any final words?" Chris asked

"No" DJ solemnly said "Tell Tyler I hope he's doing well, I just wanna go home, and thank you Dawn" DJ said hugging his friend as he and Dawn both soon walked in the Lame-o-Sine as it drove off.

Confessional: Courtney

"So we knew ahead of time that DJ was gonna ask to leave the game, same with Dawn. What shocked us was the illegal alliance with Chef. Now our team is down to 7 and it's nerve racking now as I still have a lot to sort out with Duncan, I like him, it's just who's to say he won't cheat on me again. I don't want to be known as a girl who will constantly go back to a cheater."

Confessional: Katie

"I am shocked to make it this far even as I had no faith in my abilities but even though DJ left I helped my team win the challenge, I am gonna miss DJ. But now on the team everybody is in a duo except me. I think my best bet might be to bond with the newbies in Brick and Jen. Jen has such a good fashion sense and Brick led our team to win."

Confessional: Topher

"Ugh! I tried to make a sneaky move tonight and get rid of Lindsay since she was putting a huge target on her back so I had Beth's undying loyalty and hearing it was a double elimination made it so Amy would also leave which would have been perfect for me. I need to go back to the drawing board and fast. It's only a matter of time before my team loses again and I need a game plan to keep me and Sammy safe… oh and Beth too of course"

Confessional: Lindsay

"Oh my gosh, I can't believe I am still here. I need to keep leading the team, but if being bossy as Beth puts it is gonna hurt me in this game then I can't keep doing that, the goal from Day 1 has been Beth and I sitting at the end and tonight if DJ and Dawn hadn't both left the game I wouldn't be here. I can't take this second chance for granted."

Final Words DJ and Dawn:

DJ looked at the ground solemnly "I did the right thing, right Dawn?"

Dawn gave DJ a pat on the back "Yes of course you did, and I will be here to support you the whole way through."

Dj looked reassured at that moment "Aw thanks Dawn. As for what I have to say, good luck to everyone in the game. I feel bad for Tyler as he poured his soul out to me last season when he had a rough time and I didn't do the same."

"He's fine, I can tell he will be happy for you for making this decision." Dawn once again reassured DJ.

"Thanks Dawn. Can't wait to see everyone at the After show, hopefully people know I did the right thing and still like me, but at the end of the day I can live with myself."

Author Notes

So I finally got this story done as this was a huge one setting up a lot of future arcs and ended the DJ story.

I imagine it wasn't a shock that DJ's elimination was pretty similar in canon and in this episode but I also wanted Chef to confess to the illegal alliance unlike in canon. I also eliminated Dawn as she only really served as DJ's conscious in a way and there was nowhere else I could go with her story wise.

Now heading into the Final 15 things are heating up on both teams. Lots of stories are progressing and in the next chapter in the Disaster challenge at least a couple will start reaching their conclusions and will be another huge chapter. Also one of the relationships will become official in the next chapter
