Chapter 412.
"A day with a new baby."

(The Loud House.)
The sun is shining and the house is now awake, Jordan is the first to wake up and she sees the baby they found the other day, Lucas is awake and looking at her, and he smiles.
Jordan chuckles and she kisses his forehead. "Good morning sweet one, aren't you an early bird."
"He sure is." Lincoln is also awake and he sits up and looks to Jordan and Lucas. "I woke up before you and saw this little bundle of joy awake and smiling."
Jordan sits up and she picks up Lucas and she cradles him in her arms, she then smells something. "Well, time to change the baby then." They see Luna is still asleep, they then recall there is no school for the day due to a seminar that the three schools are having.
Lincoln and Jordan go over to the table that was once used to change Lily and they both cooperate and manage to change Lucas and his dirty diaper. "Soon, he has to take a bath" said Lincoln.
"Which is later, right now we need food and so does this six-month old bundle of joy." Jordan tickles Luca's belly and this makes the baby laugh and reach out for her. Jordan then carries Lucas. "There you go, all nice and clean."
"And a cute one too." Luna goes over and she hugs all of them. "Morning guys, glad we're all awake. You two ready to spend one whole day with the new baby?"
Lincoln and Jordan nod. "We are." they look to Lucas who is happy that he gets to spend a day with the preteens who brought him to the house.
(Later.)
Lincoln, Jordan and Luna come down from the stairs and with them is Lucas, all cleaned up and dressed in some hand-me-down's Lincoln had long ago. Lucas is wearing a red shirt, and light blue shorts with little socks and mittens to keep warm since the winter is still around. He also has a diaper.
Lincoln, Luna and Jordan are also dressed and looking clean. They enter the kitchen and see the rest of the family eating breakfast and smile seeing them. "Morning Lucas."
The baby is confused and clings to Lincoln whose the one carrying him. They then walk over to the kitchen table. "Morning sweetie, did the baby wake you guys last night?" asked Rita.
"He did, but he didn't cry, he just seemed scared to be alone in the crib and so I let him sleep next to me" replied Jordan. The eagles are there as well and they go near the infant who smiles seeing them.
"Then I joined in to help keep Lucas safe and warm, he really likes our company and thinks we're his parents" replied Lincoln. He then places Lucas onto the high chair that Lily used to sit on and Lily waddles over and she hands Lincoln the bottle of milk. "Thank you Lily."
Lincoln then places the bottle onto the table and Lynn Sr hands Jordan some baby food and Jordan begins to feed Lucas.
The baby accepts this and eats it and smiles. "He likes what I'm cooking!" said Lynn Sr. He then takes a picture of this. "As if he were my grandkid already."
"And this got awkward real fast" replied Lucy. "So, what are you two gonna do with the baby today?"
"We're gonna spend a whole day with Lucas" replied Jordan. "We think he should enjoy some fun time with us, and also learn some things along the way, he needs to grow up and also have some fun."
"Can we join in?" asked the twins.
Lincoln smirks. "As good as that sounds, I don't think so. Girls, you two have different things to like and it could turn into an argument and scare little Lucas, so please just leave him be to play with us, and also Lily. She can help tend to keep an eye on him."
Lily nods. "Yay. Lily, play with Lucas." they all awe at what she just said, Lily feels like a big sister or an aunt when seeing the new baby in the house.
Lucas continues to eat his food, then Lincoln hands him the baby bottle of water and Lucas drinks from it. "Let me burp him." Leni goes over to pick up the infant, but Lucas has fear and is going to very. "Oh no, no I'm not gonna hurt you."
Jordan grabs Lucas and he clings to her, she then helps burp him. "I don't get it. Last night, Luna was allowed to hold him and he didn't even panic or cry. He just calmed down and got sleepy as she sung her tune."
Luna is also confused. "True, while Linc and Jordan were brushing their teeth, I kept an eye on Lucas and helped sing him to sleep. You think he likes my singing?"
"That could be true Lunes." Lynn Jr puts her bacon in the pancake and eats it like a sandwich. "That was the one thing Lincoln did like from you back when he was little too."
Lisa eats her waffles and thinks. "That is a possibility, but there could be another reason to this. Something I must look into soon, we have also yet to get any results from Officer Shoffner and Peter Harris. But soon we will get a message from them on who the parents are and who would leave the infant in the cold area of a dumpster."
They then hear the doorbell ring. "That must be them." Lincoln and Jordan walk to the door with Lucas in Jordan's arms and they open the door to see someone they did not wanna see.
It's Leslie Silver and she's alone. "Hi Lincoln, I was in the neighborhood and I… What the heck is she doing here?!"
Lincoln closes the door and he looks to the others. "Some lost girl who forgot where she lived."
They then go back to what they're doing, then the door is being knocked once more and this time Rita answers it. "Hello, Mrs. Loud. I was wondering if Lincoln would like to come and hang out with me and ignore the girl who's trespassing in your house."
Rita sighs. "No, and you better get away from our home and my family before I call the police. Now get out of here!"
Leslie is shocked she would say this to her. "But i…." Then the door is slammed in front of her face.
"Well, now we have to deal with her all day" said Rita.
Lana smiles. "Let us take care of it." She high fives with the eagles. The eagles take flight and bring Metapod with them. They fly outside and they all hear Leslie scream and run for her life.
They all look outside and the eagles are carrying Metapod and he uses harden and they drop her onto Leslie who manages to run out of the way. They keep doing this over and over again, till she runs back to her limo and drives away.
Lana chuckles. "See, taken care of."
"Nice one Lana, looks like she's got spooked over from the constant bugging around the place. She should keep a weather eye out, because it's gonna be snowy with a chance of wildlife" said Luan. Everyone groans from this pun.
Lincoln and Jordan look to Lucas who is looking at them and smiling, they both go close to the baby and hug him. "We're gonna have so much fun together, all three of us."
They baby giggles and hugs them both. He's looking forward to a nice day with the preteens.
Deep down, Jordan felt like she doesn't wanna let him go. But she knows sooner or later, she has to give him back to his real parents/parents. In the meantime, she'll reassure the day she can have with the baby who has imprinted on herself and Lincoln.

They play with some plush toys, Lucas plays with the toys Lily once had and hugs the one that looks like a walrus, seeing this and how happy Lucas is. Lily lets him keep the plush walrus, that's sweet.
They then go to the couch and play peek-a-boo with Lucas, which makes him laugh, Leni does this and so does Luan and this makes him happy also, Lincoln wants him to be used to the others as well.
But when Lucy plays the same thing, for some reason Lucas just looks at her confused and stares. Lynn Jr sees this and only has one thing to say. "Staring contest, round two! You got this Lucas!" Seriously, why?!
Lynn Jr of course does not get too much into playtime and just rolls a ball to Lucas, which he tolls hack and enjoys playing. He even throws the ball to Lynn and she throws it back and he manages to catch the ball. The kid's got a good catch and grip too.
Then Lisa shows Lucas some pretty lights from a modified Rubik's cube lamp and Lucas watches the pretty lights all over the room while sitting on Jordan's lap and all of this makes him laugh and clap at the lights.
Lincoln and Lily watch something good for Lucas to enjoy, which was a show about the alphabet and this makes him smile and want to move with the beat of the song.
The pets even get the chance to interact with the baby and he enjoys their company. The eagles fly around and do some tricks which makes Lucas happy to watch them.
Lincoln and Jordan both have their guitars and are playing alongside Luna and Sam who are also making some soothing tunes, which the baby smiles too. This also helps him get some sleep as well.
Michelle Lewis is given the chance to carry Lucas and help keep him comforted when Lincoln and Jordan need to do something else, this makes Michelle smile and see that one day she might get the chance to start her own family, one day.
When they give him a bath, they all get to watch the little guy as Lincoln and Jordan bathe him.
Lola and Lana want to spend time with Lucas, but they were told that they can't due to them might having an argument and making th 6-month old baby upset, and they can see that Lincoln is right. So, they do something else and that is to keep Leslie and her friends from coming to the house and seeing what's going on.
They took down Leslie and the rich girls more than ten times and with the help from Gretchen, Ryan and Delilah. They got back up!
Rick and Jesse show up to see how things are going and they're proud to see Jordan and Lincoln act like parents to this baby they found, Lynn Sr and Rita managed to take some pics of the times they spent with Lucas, some pics to always remember before they hand over the baby to the real parent/parents.
They do change the baby, and each of the loud sister get a turn. Leni wishes that Lori could be there, but she has a big test in math later. So, she records every moment they have with little Lucas.
Lincoln and Jordan enjoy each moment they have with Lucas, they know that sooner or later, they will hand him over to the mother or father. But they also wanna know who in the right stupid mind would leave this baby all alone in the dumpster at the cold on night in town.
(Late in the afternoon.)
With their fun time with Lucas done, they're not on the couch and Lincoln and Jordan are both reading to Lucas about the little Train that could and Lucas yawns and looks to Lincoln and Jordan and smiles.
The preteens are awes truck by his smile and they close the book and hug him and he hugs them back.
They both feel like actual parents to this child, but then the door opens and coming in is Luan and Lisa. "Lincoln, the cops are here and someone is with them too" said Luan.
The rest of the louds hear this and they all come down stairs and they see Peter Harris and Officer Schoffner come in, and with them is a woman.
Her hair is light brown like Jordan's and is long with a ponytail and the front of her hair matches Luna's pixie cut-style. She's wearing a red and blue jacket with a red scarf and black winter pants and brown boots. She has a red snow hat on and red mittens. Her name: Jillian Henvers. (Formerly Gibson.)
She sees her baby. "Oh my god. Lucas!" The baby smiles and reaches for the woman.
Lincoln and Jordan get off the couch and they hadn Lucas to the woman and she hugs her son and the baby clings to her and smiles. "Oh, I thought I'd never see you again my child. Thank god you're safe and sound again."
Leni looks to the woman. "Huh, that explains why Lucas was okay with Luna, she kinda has the same front hair as you do."
Luna is also amazed. "Yeah, no kidding dude."
Lincoln and Jordan smile seeing the baby back with his mom, but then they ask. "Excuse me, but why the heck was he left in a dumpster in this box?" Jordan is handed the box from Peter Harris.
Jillian is shocked to hear this. "What?" Then she feels angry. "Dang it. Aron. He's going to pay for doing this to his own son." she cradles her baby and sheds some tears.
This shocks them and they look to Peter Harris and Officer Schoffner. "Yeah, we found the guy who did this and he'll be facing more than 35 years in jail for what he did" replied Officer Schoffner. "The man known as Aron Gibson was the former husband to this woman, Jillian and the former father to the baby Lucas."
Peter Harris continues. "Apparently, she and her husband had a fall out and they didn't want anything to do with each other, so she filed a divorce."
"I had no other choice" said Jillian. "He was making a shady deal with some criminal in doing heists, all of the money we've been getting…. It's not even earned the right way, everything we have has been used by money that was stolen. I didn't want that, and I didn't want Lucas to be part of it, so I gained custody of my son."
Lincoln and Jordan and the others are shocked to hear this news, they all felt angered by this man and his crimes and to let his wife and son be part of it.
"Then what happened?" asked Leni.
"The man didn't like the divorce and he did not like that he had to be away from his son, so he lost his mind and took the kid and fled from Hazeltucky" replied Officer Schoffner. "We managed to track down the man and found him trying to flee to Canada via a boat somewhere at Bay City."
"We're still on the part where we're asking who his associate is. Until then, he remains in jail until the scumbag sings like a canary" replied Peter Harris.
"Then why the heck did he leave Lucas behind when he didn't wanna stop seeing him?" asked Lana.
"He was stupid and didn't think it through, he thought he could care for the infant, but I guess his mind went back to realizing, he hasn't done much care to the kid and barely interacted with him" replied Peter Harris. "He was always busy with his job, which was robbing banks for cash, he never had any time with the baby at all."
They look to Jillian who is holding onto her baby. They felt bad for her, that she had to try and figure out her life with her son, till he was taken away. "Does he know where the baby is now?" asked Rita.
"Nope, we didn't tell him anything, he's not going anywhere near that kid and the day her son was kidnapped, was the same time Jillian was going to move out of Hazeltucky" replied Peter Harris.
Jillian then looks to Lincoln and Jordan. "Thank you, both of you. Thank you for taking care of my baby and I understand that he has imprinted onto the both of you. You both are so kind and nice, and also you look like myself when I was young too."
Jordan chuckles. "Well, we did what we could to make him happy and to keep him safe."
Lincoln then has an idea, which everyone notices. "Linc, what's up? Something on your mind?" asked Ryan.
Lincoln looks to Jillian. "Ma'am, I think I know how you and Lucas can live peacefully with no chances of anyone trying to come for you or your son." He then looks to Rick. "Sir, are there any homes available within our neighborhoods?"
They all liked this idea and so did Jillian and Lucas.
(Later.)
They all walk out of the loud house and have winter clothing on. "Thank you again, I don't know how else I can repay you both" said Jillian.
"Nothing to it ma'am, what matters is that Lucas is healthy and well and that you can have a new life here in town. We also plan to show you the little guy who guided us to find Lucas" replied Jordan.
"I look forward to it and I know Lucas is as well." Jillian then let's them hold Lucas again.
Jordan and Lincoln look to the baby smiling at them. "Well Lucas, I guess this is it. We had so much fun with you, and this isn't goodbye" said Jordan.
"Because soon, we'll see each other again and then we can have time to spend with you, should your mom let us" replied Lincoln. "Jillian nods and agrees to this, she knows that when they come to Royal Woods, she'll be busy and need someone to keep an eye on her child, and she can trust Lincoln and Jordan.
They then kiss the baby on his cheeks, which makes him giggle. "See you soon Lucas." They then hand him back to Jillian and both walk back to the car, but Lucas looks to Lincoln and Jordan and he waves at them, this makes them all smile and they watch as they go into the family van and then drive off.
Lincoln and Jordan sigh. "Well, it was fun while it lasted, and we both got the chance to feel what it was like to be parents." He then holds Jordan's hand.
Jordan does the same and smiles. "I know, and I for one cannot wait for our future, when we become parents."
Lincoln nods. "Yeah, i…. Wait what?"
Luan chuckles. "This got awkward real fast."
