Chapter 414.
"A nice snow day with Lucas."
(Royal Woods Middle School.)
The school day is now over and every preteen in the middle school are all headed out to enjoy the rest of their Thursday. But the ones who seem excited the most are Lincoln and Jordan, they both head out of the school and get to their bikes, with the four eagles flying high above.
The rest of their friends watch as they ride off. "So, any reason why Lincoln and Jordan seem happier than they normally are?" asked Rusty.
"Maybe they got a big date later, but that might not be possible since they have the big League game this Saturday" replied Zach.
"True, still have no clue what's with them being happy. Even at class they made sure everything was in steady motion and that the school day ended on time" said Chad.
"They seemed more interested in talking to each other in the cafeteria along at their own table that with us" said Polly. "What the heck is they're deal?"
"I think we know" replied Ryan. "Yesterday, at the park after we ran into the Carson sisters."
"We met the mom of the baby they watched over and now those two are living in town and are living happily somewhere in Olive Street" replied Gretchen.
"Obviously, Lincoln and Jordan want to spend some time with the baby they helped look after" said Tabby. "It's nice, seeing them act all parenting and all that."
"I could only imagine how they're life will be when they grow up. They could get married, find a steady home and job and then have kids and possibly not that many" said Simon.
"True, from what Lincoln told me once, he wouldn't want any big family. The one thing he don't want is some kind of chaotic life that he lived through and would rather have one or two kids" replied Liam.
"Try Jordan, she already has plans on who to name the kids if they're boy or girl, or if she has both" said Mollie. "She's had that plan since the 5th grade and I still can't forget it."
"Well, we should leave them be. They seem really happy, I mean we're one day away before the whole Gaming tournament between Royal Woods and Beaverton, again." Stella along with Simon go to their bikes and they ride off.
The others also go off to do their own thing. Then Zach notices. "Where the heck is Clyde and Chloe?"
"Saw them at the cafeteria before we left" replied Giggles. "They must be getting ready for the big Hot Cocoa day we're gonna have on Monday. I sure am feeling more cocoa for when that day comes."
They all groan at her pun. The other guys, such as Lance, Trent and Artie head on to the Gaming Hub to practice their skills for the big game on Saturday, the team leaders of the Gamers club are at the Principal's Office and discussing on the venue and rules to the game.
But while everyone is feeling okay with the day ahead of them, one rich girl is not and she along with her friends have overheard the whole thing. Leslie watches as Lincoln's friends all head on their merry way.
"So, what's the plan?" asked Regina.
Leslie smirks. "Simple, we follow Lincoln and Rosato and see this baby they're gonna meet and see what heck this is all about. No one is starting a family with him, but me! And they're gonna be beautiful angels, who'll be just like me! Now come on!"
They follow Leslie to her limo, but Hope is now feeling worried. She then asks Leslie. "Leslie, I don't think this is such a good idea. I don't want a baby to get involved in this, I mean, we've had to nearly plan in getting his sister's involved, but a baby who belongs to someone else? That's kinda wrong."
Leslie looks to her best friend in anger. "Maybe I didn't make myself clear. Get in the limo now Hope!"
Hope is startled by this, and so she goes into the limo and sees the stern looks from Karen, Regina and Chastity. "Don't you dare lose your cool Hope, we're here for Leslie and Leslie alone" said Regina.
Hope didn't like this, she didn't want an infant to get involved. The limo then drives off to follow wherever Lincoln and Jordan are going.
(Somewhere at a nearby hair salon.)
Lincoln and Jordan arrive and they see Jillian Henvers waving at them and she walks out of the salon and she has her baby, Lucas with her. "Hi kids, glad you guys could make it."
Lincoln and Jordan look to Lucas and the baby smiles. "Aww. Hello Lucas, it's so nice to see you again sweetie" said Jordan.
Jillian chuckles. "He likes seeing you two, now I need to go back to work. You two think you can watch over him?"
"We will Mrs. Henvers, we'll keep an eye on Lucas and make sure he's safe and sound. We're planning to go to the park and have some quality time with him there, then we're gonna head over to my house" replied Lincoln.
Jillian smiles. "Well, I think that's a lovely idea. Here is his bag. Diapers, bottle of milk and his pacifier and his favorite toy are in there and some extra clothes just in case." She then kisses her baby. "I'll see you soon Lucas. Have fun with Lincoln and Jordan."
The baby claps and giggles. He's then cradled in the arms of Jordan. "We'll keep a close eye on him, sure as heck we're not letting him get hurt."
They then say goodbye to Jillian, thankfully Lucas has some winter clothes on and he kinda looks like a Christmas star in his green winter gear. Jordan straps him tightly onto her bike and they ride off to Ketcham Park.
The baby giggles and squeals with joy from the bike ride and they also get some attention from some folks who all thought it was adorable, then they recall the new mother and son who came to town.
Leslie and her friends see this and are angered. "She thinks she can be a good mom?!" said Leslie.
"I doubt she could even be a mom" said Chastity. "That kid is not even having fun, that's totally fake."
"We should follow them and handle this situation, our way" said Karen.
"Step on it you dorky driver!" said Regina. The limo drives off through the snowy roads. But Hope is not liking this.
'Leslie, don't do something that could get you into some serious trouble. Please, I don't want us to get into some serious trouble and that baby… He's innocent, and Lincoln and Jordan just wanna have fun with him.'
Leslie looks to Hope. "You got a problem there?"
Hope sighs. "No, no problem." But she feels like something bad is gonna happen, then she secretly texts someone who she never deleted from her contacts.
(Ketcham Park.)
Lincoln and Jordan walk around the park, with little Lucas in Lincoln's arms and the four eagles on their shoulders. The baby smiles and looks around the white background of the park and is happy to see so many smiling and laughing faces having fun, feeling like he should join in the fun as well.
A snowflake falls onto his nose and he tries to grab it, but it flies off and he laughs. Lincoln and Jordan smile seeing this. "He is so adorable when he's happy. How on earth is he not such a fussy baby?" said Jordan.
Lincoln smirks. "Maybe it's because he's had his mom all this time, and then met us and now he's not like any other baby who would be upset. We have yet to see him get really upset, like Lily once did."
"The only time I saw him upset was when he woke up and needed my company" said Jordan. They then see two teens go to them, two teens they know.
"Oh-M-Gosh! Who is this little buddy?" asked Jackie as she kneels down and boops Lucas' nose.
"He is so adorable!" Mandee does the same and the baby laughs and moves his arms around. "Aww! He's happy."
Lincoln chuckles. "This is Lucas Henvers, him and his mom both moved into Royal Woods yesterday, and I think you guys might have heard of him from what Leni said and posted."
Jackie and Mandee then recall. "You mean the baby who was left by his dad? Oh wow. That is so mean, glad you guys found him" said Jackie. "Are you okay there little Lucas?"
The baby smiles and grabs her arms and he places one of her hands on his face and laughs. "He's such a playful little one, isn't he?" said Mandee.
Jordan giggles. "He sure is, he really like seeing some friendly faces. He's not sued to folks he doesn't seem to trust. Almost like he knows someone is good, or someone is bad, or someone is worse."
"Well, babies are said to be very smart when they are born and begin to see the world and are also the smartest being on the planet" said Mandee. "And I learned that one from a Documentary."
(Later.)
After a nice run-in with Jackie and Mandee, and a couple of selfies with them. Lincoln, Jordan and Lucas are back to walking by themselves through the park, then they spot some Ice-Type Pokémon go to them. Mostly, Snorunt, Snover and Swinub, but they are shocked to also see a Galarian Darumaka, Alola Sandshrew and Alola Vulpix who are all curious of the baby.
So they go over to the bench and they let Lucas sit next to Jordan and the baby smiles and laughs seeing the Pokémon looking at him and he even hugs the Alolan Vulpix.
"We should tell FutureTech about this, I mean it is odd to see some of the Pokémon we'd never thought would reside here in the park" said Jordan.
Lincoln then recalls something. "You think we'll one day meet up with the Trubbish who guided us to Lucas?"
Jordan recalls the little trash bag Pokémon. "I hope we do and I want to let Jillian see the little guy who helped us find her son, it was Trubbish who found Lucas first."
Lucas then pets the Galarian Darumaka and then he gets fussy. Lincoln then grabs the warm bottle of milk and he gives it to Lucas and he drinks from it. Jordan cradles the baby and hums a soothing tune.
"This is so nice, just us and these little guys watching over Lucas and keeping him safe" said Lincoln. The eagles look onto Lucas and he smiles seeing them.
Looking to Lucas, is giving Nora some ideas. 'Harrier and I should start our own family, a family we can love and care for.' She has no clue that her Bald Eagle mate is thinking of the same thing. Awesome!
"One day Lincoln, when our days in High School and possibly College are done. We can be together and live our lives, with those closest to us in for the ride" said Jordan. "We can start a family and live peacefully as the future keeps going."
Lincoln scooches closer to Jordan and he kisses her cheek. "That is a future I look forward to, my lovely rose."
"What about a future with me?" They both go wide eyed and all the small ice-type Pokémon scatter, the eagles get into defensive position mode and somewhere at an alley, a little living trash bag sees this and is unhappy.
Lincoln and Jordan see who it is. Jordan sighs. "Just one day, one day where she can just leave us alone and not even be a hassle. Why couldn't she just be gone for more than a month?"
Lincoln sighs. "That's something I ask and pray for too."
Leslie and her friends walk towards them, but Hope is worried. Jordan makes sure Lucas is not looking at them and they don't look to Lucas. Lincoln gets close to Jordan to keep her and Lucas safe.
"So, what are you doing today my dearest Lincoln?" asked Leslie.
Lincoln is cross with her. "None of your business, now get lost!"
"Easy there kid, we just wanted to see this baby we heard about" said Regina. "The one you two are taking care of."
Leslie tries to peek at the baby. "Let me see the little guy. He might like me better than this runt."
"Leave him alone! Leave us alone and get the hell away from us and never bother us!" said Jordan. Lucas is confused at what was even happening, Nora stays close to the baby and sits on Jordan's shoulder.
Chastity smirks. "Let Leslie see the baby, she has every rights to see things and that baby is something she wants to look at and when she wants to hold it, then let her hold the baby Rosato!"
"The baby is a he!" said Lincoln. He then gets up. "Now leave us alone, get the heck away from us and go back to your spoiled mansions of evil and stay there!"
"Come now Lincoln, we can just settle it nice and peacefully." Leslie then signals Karen, Regina, Chastity and Hope to surround them and they do so, but Hope is worried and not happy about this. "Now, let me see the baby!"
Karen and Regina move closer and Jordan tries to look for some way to get out of this, thankfully the eagles stand with her and have their talons and beaks ready. "Get away from us!"
"Get the dumb birds out of the way" said Karen. "We just want Leslie to see the baby, now move it bird brains!"
"Stop it! Leave us alone! Leave the baby alone and get lost you retards!" said Lincoln.
"Wow. Calm down Lincoln, we just wanna see the baby, well I wanna see him and see if he likes me. Come on, it's not that hard. Just let me see him and also carry him" said Leslie.
"Better do as she says Loud, otherwise things could get into trouble real fast" replied Chastity.
Lincoln was ready to fight them, then Jordan hands him her watch which is named "Queen" He then gets ready to send an energy shield to their faces, but then someone yells.
"Stop!"
They all look to Hope. "Guys, stop it! Just stop it, stop it stop it!" She then has tears. "What the heck are we doing?!"
The rich girls are confused, but Leslie is upset at Hope. "Girls, do we even know what's going on? Do we even know what we're doing right now?"
"Look at us! We're just a bunch of mean, spoiled and rotten rich girls, and what are we doing? Surrounding two other preteens who have a baby to take care of while her mom is busy, and the formation we're doing, it looks like kidnapping!"
This makes Chastity, Regina and Karen stop what they're doing and go wide eyed. Hope wipes away her tears. "We don't do this kind of crud! We have been just going through with only trying to pry their love apart, but making a baby get caught into the mix with our plans? How low is that supposed to be?!"
"We're nothing more than acting like those goons and idiots who always go after Lincoln, Jordan and everyone else in their friends and family… This is a crime! And we're gonna pay for it!"
Lincoln and Jordan are shocked she would say this, then Lucas finishes his bottle and he hands his bottle to someone, Nora takes it and puts it in the bag. Jordan then burps the baby and looks to Hope. "Hope….. Are you…"
"Shut up!" They all look to Leslie who is pissed off. "Hope, shut the hell up! Just shut up! You shut up and don't say anything!"
Hope is shocked at what Leslie is saying to her. "Stop this stupid sense of judgment and listen to me! Stop being such a loser and do as I say!"
Hope feels like talking back, but she can't. Every word from Leslie, is like a master ordering her dog, and she feels like the dog and stays quiet.
"Good. Now, get the baby and let me hold him!" said Leslie. But she sees Regina, Karen and Chastity don't move, they feel like Hope is right. They can handle pranking Lincoln and Jordan, but seeing how they're attempts to taking the baby is vile, could lead them into some serious jail time.
"Are you listening to me?!" said Leslie. "You know? Fine, I'll do it myself!" Leslie is about to advance onto Lincoln and Jordan, the white-haired boy is ready to defend and so is Jordan and the eagles.
But then Leslie is hit by a mud shot to the hair. "What the? Gross, what the heck is this?" She then gets hit again. "What the? Whose' doing that?!" Then she gets hit again, and again, and again.
They all see the pile of snow move and coming out is a Trubbish and it lands in front of Lincoln and Jordan and it angry for what she's doing. "The Trubbish who found Lucas!" said Lincoln and Jordan.
Leslie backs up and she hits her foot onto something soft, then she sees this little creature and is angry. "Why you little runt!"
But then she sees her friends, the Trubbish, Lincoln and Jordan and the eagles back away from something and are wide eyed. The baby however laughs and smiles "What? What is it?"
Leslie then feels something heavily breathing behind her. She goes wide eyed and she turns around and sees something big, white and has some green on its feet and looks like an abominable snowman. Lincoln only has one thing to say. "That, is an Abomasnow and you stepped on his foot."
Leslie sees where her boot is and she looks to the large second evolution of Snover. "Umm, I'm sorry?"
Abomasnow yells at her and she makes a run for it. Leslie and her friends then run to the limo, Hope hesitates, but she too runs with them.
The Abomasnow watches as they head to the limo, he then grabs a large clump of snow and he waits for the right moment. Then he tosses the giant snow ball and it flies over Gretchen, Ryan and Yamper who just arrived.
The large snowball then hits all the rich girls just as they're about to get into the limo. The insides of the limo is now covered in snow.
The Abomasnow then walks away to look for another good sleeping place. Lincoln, Jordan, Trubbish and the eagles are shocked from what just happened, but Lucas giggles. "Bu…. Buh Bye."
Lincoln and Jordan then go wide eyed. "You spoke?!"
Gretchen and Ryan saw what happened and they watch as the limo drives off. "Wow. What the heck happened here?" asked Ryan.
They then go to check on Lincoln, Jordan and the baby, but something inside of Gretchen thinks that Hope might have done something to stop trouble, or better yet, hold off trouble.
What they all didn't know, Delilah was watching this along with her Stunky and she had her phone recording and she smirks. 'Good job Hope, and now we have more proof to one day put Leslie in her place and also put the soiled Silver family down for the count.'
Delilah and her Stunky then go over to see if they were doing okay, and also tell them what she recorded.

A/N: not quite the day they thought would happen, perhaps they'll have it better for next time and without Leslie involved and that right there was a glimpse of Hope close to losing her cool and giving up on Leslie and the others. It'll take some time, but she will change, soon. Leave a review and tell me what you all think.
