Chapter 416.
"Gamer's Game on!"
(December 12. Royal Woods Sports Event Stadium.)
The whole place is now filled with lots of folks from town, and also some folks from Beaverton as the biggest and first ever game Royal Woods and Beaverton is about to begin.
The first ever League of Legends game between Royal Woods and Beaverton is locked, stocked and ready for a showdown!
The whole place has five computers who are on the opposite sides of the stadium and are facing each other so the other team won't know what they're doing. There is also a large screen on the back of the ones playing so everyone can see what the game is looking like with both visions of the sides revealed. But to make sure the other teams don't know what the other is doing.
So, it's like the same thing in one of those League of Legends and DOTA 2 Championships finals which everyone has seen live, you guys get the idea.
Everyone is there to cheer for the team of the Royal Woods Middle School Eagle Aces, which is composed of: Lincoln, Jordan, Trent, Lance, and Artie and with Ryan, Gretchen and Simon in case they need to take a break and let them try and play the game. Alongside them are the team leaders of the Gamer's club, Allison and Laurence.
Royal Woods cheers and they see the eagles take off from Lincoln and Jordan and with them is the American flag and they fly around the stadium.
Then Beaverton arrives with their leader of their gamers club, along with his team of eight preteens. Five will play and three will act as backup for when the others need a break. They are the team known as; The Beaverton Bullseyes.
Everyone just cheers at this awesome moment as it goes on. From the commentator's area, they have some very special guests.
"Ladies and Gentlemen! Welcome to a glorious New Day! For the first ever, Royal Woods vs Beaverton, League of Legends World clash!" It's YouTuber, Austin Creed, but in WWE he's known as Xavier Woods!
"And we're locked stocked and ready to play the game folks!" His partner in this game, former NXT Champion, Johnny Gargano.
"We got the Team from Royal Woods who have been known since they won the Dodge ball game last month and then we got the teens from Beaverton who have been playing since classes began, but the Royal Woods eagles have been amping their game and also gunning to be the best" said Austin Creed.
"And one thing we know, this is gonna be a sure fire battle, blue s red, Eagles vs Bulls and it's gonna be one epic match in the battle fields of Runeterra, on the fields of Justice!" said Johnny Gargano.
Then, everyone rises as Royal Woods Middle School music club leader, Darrel begins to perform on the piano and American National Anthem and with him is Delilah Silver on the violin. They all watch as the eagles fly around and wave the American flag and then they land and have Mayor Davis get the flag onto the pole and let it flutter in the air.
And soon, the whole scenario changes when the band known as the Luna-Tics takes the stage, and they rock and roll as they perform the theme song; Warriors by Imagine Dragons. Which is the very first awesome theme song to League of Legends first World Championship finals.
Now this is one epic intro to the whole event.
Also in the audience are some of the guys and gals who helped make League of Legends, all of them are here to witness this event and chances they might be here for another awesome reason.
Soon, with the intro done. The referee who is none other than Adrien from the Local Net Gaming Hub tells them the rules and what the prize is.
The prize is a trophy that looks like one of the towers from the game, but is riddles with gold and silver weaponry around the base and glows. The trophy was made and supported by Riot Games, and the other prize is more than 100,000 dollars for school funds.
Now, this is a battle and clash for the donations to the school, but truth be told Principal Ramirez cares little about the cash, they got lots of cash from the donations coming from Lincoln, Jordan and of course, Gretchen who also wants to support the Middle School and keep her going.
Chances they might just donate the cash to Beaverton Middle School.
With the rules being set and made, it was time to game on.
They all get into their positions and both teams begin to pick out the champions to ban in the game and the champions they choose.
On the Royal Woods side: Fiddlesticks, Olaf, Kha'Zix, Caitlyn and Braum.
They banned: Teemo, Thresh, Ashe, Jinx and Yasuo.
On the Beaverton's side: Zed, Sejuani, Rammus, Lucian and Sona.
They banned: Samira, Yone, Rek'Sai, Tristana and Karma.
With that being done, it was time to begin the match and everyone hears the voice. "Welcome to Summoners Rift. 30 seconds to minion spawn."
Everyone watches and observes how the game works and the commentators go into headset mode and only the audience can hear them and not the teams. The official keeps track on both teams.
The louds, Rosato's and pretty much all their friends and family are there to watch this, even Lori is there since she got a day off from her studies in college and the golf tournament isn't until next month.
Lynn Jr then asks Lisa. "So, do you know how this game works Lis?" All the louds look to her.
Lisa then recalls. "Well, I have seen and observed when Lincoln was playing and when he needed some advice on logic and I was able to see how the game works. The whole thing is a team type of game where they must work together to reach the enemies Nexus and claim victory."
"There is the top, mid and bottom lanes. Each champion has a role to play; Mages, Assassins, Supports, Tanks, Fighters, Junglers and Marksman, but they also split with minor roles which can change the tide of the fight. Should they run into an enemy, they must figure out how to lure them in to deal damage onto them, or force them to fall back and make the push."
"The three lanes lead to the enemies Nexus, but re guarded by towers that can be able to wipe out any champion, no matter how powerful they are. So, the best way to destroy the towers is to let the minions take the damage and be the diversion, but even with the minions acting as decoy, the towers will redirect all attacks onto the enemy champion should a friendly champion come under fire."
"The minions are A.I controlled and will continue their perilous march to either of the lanes, till they reach the end of the line, which is the nexus itself."
"Now, they can be able to make themselves powerful through the game with the champions they have, by leveling up and buying items. To level up they're champion they must earn XP which can be granted from areas where enemies die, or doubling it with a last hit onto the foe, but slaying a champion is worth a hefty amount of XP and also gold for purchasing items."
"When they level up, they can gain new abilities, or upgrade their abilities to get stronger and do more damage, heal, shield or boost their speed. But should they reach level 6, then they unlock their ultimate ability which can perform a different way of things into the game."
"So, what's Lincoln's champions ultimate?" asked Lana.
Lisa looks to Braum. "His champion is Braum, Heart of the Freljord and protector of man and animals, wielding a powerful and enchanted door as a shield and is a support and tank. He inflicts physical damage and shields allies and keeps them safe, but his ultimate makes a glacial fissure that will slow and freeze enemies in their path."
"And what about Jordan's?" asked Luan. "She looks like a sniper."
"That would be Caitlyn, the Sheriff of Piltover and a great long ranged marksman, she can set up traps and she requires distance to get a clear shot and do damage or root the enemy in place. Her ultimate allows her to inflict a lethal long ranged head shot which can do massive damage to one target alone."
"Lincoln and Jordan are both doing a smart move in teaming up, one will shield and support and the other will take the enemy down from a distance."
"Also, what about this gold used for buying stuff?" asked Leni.
"They can use the gold to purchase items back at the shop near the fountain, which is also where they will respawn should they die in the fight. Once they have bought an item, they will gain it's benefits which could help them go back into the fight, some can heal, shield, increase damage, speed and mana regen or just cause serious damage" replied Lisa.
"What about the area that seems dark?" asked Lucy. "Because Lance is going in and….. What the heck is that?"
Lance is using Kha'Zix and he's attacking the Razor beak camp.
"They dark area is known as the jungle and within the place are monsters to fight and slay" replied Lisa.
"Do they gain anything when doing that?" asked Rick.
"Yes, they can claim the buff the monster has, and also some gold. But the jungle is a dangerous place as well, it could be the start of a dangerous team fight and the whole thing will escalate on which side will survive the battle. The best place for Lincoln to use his ultimate, in a restricted and tight area of the map and a perfect location for an ambush using the brush and the fog of war" replied Lisa.
"Dang. This game sounds a lot like some kind of death match thing, even though it does look like a death match" said Lynn Jr.
"Whoa! Looks like Jordan got the win" said Margo. They see that Jordan has claimed a kill, with the help from Lincoln.
"That is first blood, they must continue with their attacks if they are to gain the upper hand and win this" said Lisa. "They might have a chance if they get into a higher level, team up and then go after the biggest monsters of the game, such as the Dragon and the Hydra" replied Lisa.
"Well, they better get a move on before… Oh, never mind" said Luna. What did she mean?
Lance is using Kha'Zix and Artie is using Olaf and they both run into Zed and Sejuani going after the Rift Herald, this turns into a fight and Zed runs after Sejuani is killed and now Artie and Lance ge the claim on the Rift Herald and now they can sue her to eradicate the enemy towers.
Lincoln and Jordan chase after Sona and take her down and Trent is using Fiddlesticks to create some confusion as Fiddlesticks.
The whole game is going well, and it seems that Royal Woods is on the verge of winning the first round. Then Lincoln's champion is killed, his sacrifice was for Jordan, snipe that bastard!
(Outside.)
Leslie's limo arrives and they head to the stadium, there's also a snow storm going on, but it's not too serious. "Come on! We have to get in there!" said Leslie.
But then they see something blocking their way, and it's an Abomasnow, the same one from the park.
"You gotta be kidding me" said Karen. The ice-type Pokémon roars at them and the girls all run back to the limo.
"Drive you idiot!" said Regina. But the limo won't budge, they then see the Abomasnow is now on top of the limo and it naps on top of it. They then see, they're trapped and have nowhere to go.
"Maybe we can sneak past it" said Chastity. But when they open the doors, they won't budge. "What the heck?! Why won't this open?!"
They look out the windows and see a large amount of fur is in the way, two large Mamoswine are now napping on either side of the limo, and two more on the front and three more at the back. "It appears we are trapped Miss Silver" said the Driver.
"We can see that you dork!" said Leslie. "This cannot get any worse."
Then the Mamoswine farts into the open window and this makes the rich girls faint.
(Hours later or after two rounds and a long game time.)
Everyone watches as the game keeps going, they watch as the blue team is now in the base of the red team.
Ryan – Yuumi, Jordan – Kalista, Lincoln – Tahm Kench, Gretchen – Kayle, Simon – Ryze.
And the enemy team is using: Ziggs, Volibear, Alistair, Miss Fortune and Gangplank.
The whole fight spirals into bedlam as the blue team, begins their assault. The enemy team is running because they lost Alistair and Miss Fortune, which means it's time for a take down.
Yuumi buddies onto Ryze and casts her ultimate onto Ryze and then Kalista spirit calls in Ryze and then Tahm Kench devours Kalista, and then he begins to take a deep voyage and he appears in the middle of the enemy team running.
Through this, Kayle catches up. Tahm Kench then spits out Kalista who then sends Ryze hurdling into the enemy team and the swords reign down from Ryze as he delivers all of his abilities alongside Yuumi who is providing all the shields and heals.
The entire red team is game over and done!
Everyone cheers and the blue team heads to the Nexus and they begin to finish off the nexus they have not finished destroying yet.
Even with the red team of Beaverton coming in to save their core, it's too late!
"Victory."
"Blue team wins! Royal Woods Wins! The Eagles win it!" said Austin Creed.
"Oh my god! They won! And with that epic team fight ambush and slaughter, they went OP on the red team! Beaverton got vaporized" said Johnny Gargano.
The Royal Woods team cheers and they hug each other and cheer. They then head down from their area with the rest of their teammates and their gamer's club leaders and they all receive the trophy and the cash.
They then see the opposing team go to them and the leader nods. "Good Game guys." They all shake hands. "We may be from Beaverton, but sure as heck we ain't like the dork dodge ball team that failed, we're better than that."
Laurence and Allison shake their hands. "Thanks."
Lincoln then goes to them. "Guys, truth be told, we don't need the cash. The Middle School here in Royal Woods has enough money to last it for a long time and you guys gave it your all and made us lose the second round, but this third round was one epic game that even we've never had before."
"We'd like you guys at Beaverton middle school to take the cash, we know how much you guys need it" replied Jordan. They then hand them the large check.
The Beaverton team smiles and one of the female member speaks. "Thanks, you guys aren't so bad and the dodge ball team was wrong about you newbies. You're alright with us."
They then tell them their names.
Team Leader: George Brookes. Members: Hailey Hathaway, Norman Jackson, Tobias Le Claire, Robbie Bellsworth, Daniella Potter, Melody Dashyes, Clifford Overbeck and Adam Jacobson.
Looks like they have made some new friends, from the other town. They all wave to the audience and they all raise the trophy, because even though Beaverton lost, they're all winners and gave it their all and fought with everything they've got.
Everyone cheers and takes pictures of this. The folks from Riot Games begin to talk to each other and they look to the Royal Woods Eagles team and think about something, something about next year and they're big event.
But they can talk to them when the time is right, as of now, let them enjoy this victorious moment.
(At a prison somewhere in Mils City Montana.)
A prison riot breaks out and the convicts there are all making a run for it as someone has rigged a cell made explosive onto the wall. The wall is destroyed and lots of cops and inmates are wounded from the whole explosion and walking out are three men.
Silvester Brownman – 47 year's old and is a tall brown haired man with two scars to his face and a large scar on his right arm and he has a tattoo of a bull on his left shoulder and is a bit muscular than his two other friends. He's in for eleven Bank Robberies.
Vincent Criss – 45 year's old and taller than the others and is strong looking as a professional bodybuilder. He has a large scar to his left leg and right arm and on his back and he has an eye patch on the right eye and a scar on his neck and under his chin. He's in for murder, and kidnapping.
And they're third associate; Dour Rockwell. As of now the man's face is scarred and ruined, he is not showing it, but instead he's wearing something he chose with no choice….. A black paper bag?
Okay, that sounds dumb and it says takeout on the back too.
"Alright guys, time to go back to Royal Woods and make that bitch and her friends pay fo what they did to me!" said Doug.
But then he sees Vincent and Silvester shivering. "What's up with you….? Oh wow! I forgot it's snowing out here!"
"W-We need a ride" said Silvester.
Then Vincent sees something. "There! That delivery truck!" They all go to the delivery truck, and Vincent strangles the driver and they take the truck and they drive off. They're headed for Royal Woods.
