Dean made it first priority to be back in Davenport before Monday. He had clean clothes, clean gear, and a clearer head, so he wanted to spend his next couple days off with the woman who occupied his every other thought. If they weren't on the phone they were texting, and she had introduced him to Snapchat so now he had a collection of selfies she sent him after she told him that he could screenshot some.

He found himself shamelessly singing along to a playlist on his phone that sat upside down in the unoccupied cup holder, cord running from the bottom and into the rental car's lighter port. He could care less about the faces of people around him as he drove, he was having too much fun and he was literally minutes away from being with CJ. Nothing was going to bring down his good mood, and if anybody tried he would gladly break their nose for doing so. He knew that he had a stressful week ahead of him, and that's why he made sure he got to have his own little slice of heaven before walking straight into hell.

What made it better was the fact that she didn't know that he was coming. Not only was he going to be with her; he was surprising her with bubble bath stuff, a teddy bear(solely because he assumed women liked that sort of thing), a pair of leggings because she was complaining about not having a lot of clothes on her, and he even got her her usual Subway sub from the restaurant in the airport. This was completely out of character and he honestly surprised himself when he came up with all this, probably more than all this would surprise her.

Parking in the parking lot, Dean adjusted his hat and sunglasses before getting out of the car and grabbing his suitcase from the backseat. The lobby was particularly busy for some reason and he mentally cheered while her swaggered over to the elevator, excitement flowing through his veins while he did a little dance in the empty lift. He made his best effort to calm himself down as the doors opened on her floor, and spent the whole walk to her door mumbling to himself about relaxing because pouncing on her wasn't going to be a great route to go about it.

Knocking on the door slowly, trying not to sound too eager, Dean smirked when she asked who it was. He decided to lie and say it was room service, to which she simply told him the door was unlocked and to come in. He opened the door slowly, pulling his suitcase in behind him when he saw that she had her back to him and was in the complimentary robe that came with the hotel room. Even as he crossed the room, she didn't budge. Not until his arms wound around her still slim waist and he had his face buried in her neck did she move, but that was to wrap her arm around her neck to keep him close.

She pushed the hat off of his head and he felt her fingers begin working his scalp. He couldn't help the contented sigh that left his lips and she smiled, leaning back against his body and letting him support her weight. Her free hand pulled the sunglasses off of his face and she carelessly tossed them to the side, not that he really cared, before gently caressing his cheek. The moment they were sharing was strangely intimate and, as much as he wanted to hear her voice, he didn't want to chance ruining it with speaking.

Instead, he slowly turned her around before gently cupping her cheeks into his hands. Her icy blue eyes met his baby blue gaze and he could see how truly happy she was to see him. A small smile graced her features before he finally leaned in to kiss her, being deliberately chaste and gentle. There was plenty of time for them to get down and dirty, plenty of time for him to get rough like he knew she probably wanted, so right now he wanted to treat her like the delicate flower she was to him.

It wasn't until the third time their mouths reconnected that he slid his tongue across the seam of her lips to get her to open up for him. Slowly, her lips spread open and slowly his tongue slid into her mouth. He felt her hands slide up from where they were resting on his chest to wrap her arms around his neck while their tongues danced the most intimate of dances. He had waited days for this and he'd be damned if he wasn't going to savor every second of it. She was his queen, after all.

The only woman who really mattered in his world and practically ruled it(he would say practically just so it looked like he wasn't some love struck fool). He had become slightly dependent on her; but she made him happy, so why fight it? She showed the world that there was more to Dean Ambrose than just wrestling, and she showed him that there were things(more specifically people) in the world that were more important to him than wrestling. For a small while she had given him a family in hers, until he ruined things, but he was certain that he would be welcomed back with open arms. Not to mention the fact that she was pregnant with his child, who would also be his family.

She had noticed that Dean slipped into a deep thought when the movements of his mouth became more languid than before. She broke the kiss with a small smile, successfully snapping him out of his haze when she began gently pecking his lips repeatedly until he caught on and captured her lips for a kiss longer than just a second. It wasn't too long, though, because only thirty seconds later room service knocked on her door with the fresh towels she had requested an hour ago.

Dean watched as she ushered the guy along, obviously in a rush to get back to something. He took this time to get out of his jacket, carelessly tossing the garment to the side when she turned around with her arms full of towels. He met her halfway, taking the towels out of her arms and carrying them into the bathroom. Going back into the main room, Dean saw that he was just in time to see her take off her robe.

So fucking beautiful. He thought to himself as he approached her once more, taking his shirt off as he moved. Dean only guided her to the bed, keeping his knee between her legs when she finally just laid down and her hands went to his belt buckle. He watched as she nimbly worked all the bells and whistles that were his jeans and belt, and she watched as he stood to undress. There was no show, just an obvious rush. It was only seconds before he was hovering over her once again; his forehead on hers, noses brushing, eyes only on each other, and lips centimeters apart.

"I owe you a bubble bath." She whispered, small smile playing on her lips as Dean let out a raspy chuckle.

"I brought bubble bath soap."

"Shall we go do it?"

"You lay down, I'll take care of it." Dean murmured, letting her peck his lips before getting off of her and heading for his suitcase. "I brought lunch and a pair of pants for you, too."

"You stopped by the house?"

"I went to a store on my way to the airport and I stopped at Subway after I got off the plane."

"Roast beef and-"

"American cheese, toasted; with spinach leaves, olives, and light salt and pepper."

"You're amazing. Thank you, Dean."

"You're welcome." He said, winking at her before heading into the bathroom.

She didn't mean to doze off while Dean was getting the bath ready, but she found the sound of running water soothing and before she knew it her eyes were closing. When he came out and saw her asleep he couldn't help the small smile on his face, but still picked her up and carried her into the bathroom. The water woke her up and she blinked up at him, but leaned into his side and poked at some bubbles.

"They smell really good."

"It's eucalyptus spearmint. It's supposed to help with stress relief, which is something we both need."

"Where did you find this?"

"I don't know the name of the store. I'm sure it says on the bottles somewhere." Dean mumbled, gently caressing her cheek as he observed her. She was comfortable and she was relaxing, which meant that he was doing a good job.

The two made casual conversation while they soaked in the tub together, both trying desperately to avoid the topic of Seth Rollins. Dean was dead set on rearranging his face the next time they came into contact at work, and CJ was certain that she'd take her frustrations out on Dean if they started talking about him. So they talked about old mob movies and music that they both enjoyed, Dean promising her a mob movie marathon some time in the near future.

It wasn't until the water started cooling off that Dean decided that it was time to get out of the tub, something that CJ was against but complied with nonetheless. She gratefully accepted the towel he handed her and wrapped it around her body as a knock sounded on her door.

"I'll get it." She sighed, smiling to herself when she heard Dean following her to the door.

"Like that?"

"Ambrose, you're the only man seeing me naked any time soon." CJ assured, gently poking his belly button before opening the door. She was surprised to see delivery boy with a bouquet of flowers, but she knew who they were from.

"These are for you, ma'am."

"Thanks." She deadpanned before shutting the door in the kid's face and looking at the card.

'I know you're pissed but I still love you, babe. We can work things out.

Love, Seth'

"What part of 'give me space ' don't you get, Rollins?" She asked herself, setting the vase on the television stand. "They're pretty flowers, though."

"He's getting kind of pathetic, don't you think?" Dean asked, looking to CJ for confirmation. She only sighed, to which he pulled her into a hug. He knew that she was getting really tired of Seth not getting the picture and hoped that she would just break up with him already. But he could understand why she was going to try to fix things.

"I do think that, but I can't just-" Dean wasn't going to let her finish her sentence because he didn't want to hear about her morals. He wanted to hear her moan and scream his name, her morals could wait and if the way she kissed him back was anything to go by he could tell that she felt the same. His hands worked to remove the towels from their bodies before he carried her over to the bed, pushing the comforter aside to keep it dry while he worked to make her forget about her boyfriend. They'd need it later, but right now he needed to help her.

Four hours later Dean woke up in the position he remembered falling asleep in and felt kind of bad for almost sleeping on CJ. What was worse was that he fell asleep while still inside of her, something that he'd never done before. It took a a minute of slowly easing out so that he didn't wake her, and he paused every time a noise left her mouth. He took a moment to pull the blanket up to her shoulders before he went to his suitcase to get the bear he had gotten her.

Compared to the flowers Seth sent her, he thought the bear seemed kind of lame but at least it was a gift from somebody she actually wanted to see and be around. That was what made Dean feel like the bear was adequate at the very least while he tucked the stuffed animal beneath her arm. He gently swept her hair out of her face and leaned in to kiss her cheek.

"I love you, Christina." Dean whispered against her skin and felt her smile slightly. My angel.
