Chapter 441.
"Let's see the damage."
(January 6. The Loud House.)
The Loud House is being checked on by some Allied forces from the Royal-Delta outpost, they even remove the fallen tree, but they don't need to get rid of it.
The tree still seems okay and they replant the large guy and they just have to tell them to keep a close eye in case the tree does timber down again. They have to be cautious.
Lincoln and Luna both walk out of the house and are dressed for the day, they see the house is being checked by the guys at FutureTech and some allied maintenance forces.
"Dang, the whole house looks like she could use one big major overhaul" said Luna.
Lincoln sighs. "Let's hope they can make the house more improved for surviving storms." They then see Peter Harris go towards them. "Hey Peter, whats the issue?"
"Nothing much, the garage is being restored and we're gonna make sure it stays stable and we also found out that the source and cause of the garage of yours fallin apart, well the storm triggered the hollowed rotten wood within and well, she fell apart" replied Peter Harris.
"Dang, and that's why Lana is helping?" asked Luna.
They all spot Lana helping some of the guys out, but Rita makes sure she's kept away from the heavy lifting and she just helps with the plumbing and Lisa just observes everything and is not to engage on the technology being used.
"Yeah, she's a big help. Also, we heard that your dad's restaurant is still standing, good for him. Can't say much about most homes in town" said Peter Harris.
"Which houses?" asked Lincoln. "Any from our friends?"
Peter Harris has a list. "Well, there are ten houses that took damage from the town, but the four houses that you guys might now took little damage. The homes of Darrel, Zach, Chad and Sadie.
"Whoa. The Sharps aren't in there, are they?" asked Luna.
"Nope, they didn't take any damage on their home, so they're safe." Peter then puts his tablet away. "Well, I gotta go and help out some more. Catch you kids later."
Lincoln and Luna then go into her car and they drive off, there was no need for the eagles to come with them. They're back at the Rosato Mansion, okay Bullets is at the Tree House and thankfully, the Tree House is still standing! Damn!
(Rosato Mansion.)
Jodan helps in cleaning some of the leaves and other fallen branches and Ryan helps wash the driveway. "Sure is a shame that Sadie's house got hit, but form what I heard it's just some broken windows" said Ryan.
"At least no one got hurt, so that makes me feel better" said Jordan. She then spots a car coming towards them. "Lincoln, and Luna." she goes over and the car stops and they both come out.
"Hi Jordan." Lincoln and Jordan share a hug and a small kiss. "How are things here?"
"Doing alright, at least two houses took damage not too far from here, and I'm happy all of our friends are doing okay" replied Jordan.
"Can't say much about the Middle School" replied Ryan. "From what Jenny told us, the second floor took a large tree branch to the chemistry classroom, so there won't be chemistry classes until further notice, or until they finish the repairs. How goes it at your place, man?"
"Garage being rebuilt, and pops is at the restaurant and nothing took damage, except for the now missing dumpster" replied Luna. "Glad Pop-pop at Sunset Canyon is doing fine, I do wonder how the heck the place holds onto a big storm like that."
"So, you two gonna spend the day together?" asked Jordan.
"We are, and also see how the rest of the town is doing in fixing the damages from the storm" said Lincoln. "We'll try and find some way to bond as best we can."
Jordan smiles and kisses him again. "Okay, just stay safe and stay out of trouble."
Lincoln chuckles. "Yeah, yes ma'am." He then goes back to the car.
Luna smiles at this. "He'll be fine Jordan, you know he's in good hands." She too walks back to her car.
Jordan smirks. "Always in good hands." she then watches as the purple Ferrari drives away onto the town.
All while the Bald Eagles begin making the nests in the Eagle sanctuary bigger, they use some of the fallen leaves and branches outside and search the town for any signs of danger and anyone needing help.
(Somewhere in Royal Woods.)
Lincoln and Luna have been going around the town and looking at places that may have taken some extensive damage, they see some homes being repaired by either the home owners or some FutureTech and allied reinforcements.
They did spot Gus' Games n' Grub and the only damage is the sign which isn't glowing anymore.
They do spot Clyde's house and it looks okay, they even see Clyde and his dad's along with the Helmandollar's helping each other clean up any messes the storm left behind around the neighborhood.
And as usual, they see the Yates family going around and helping those who need it the most.
They do recall that Leni, Luan and Lynn Jr went off to check on their friends and help them out at their neighborhoods and they did see Lynn Jr with Margo using their roller skates and picking up some tree branches on the roads and sidewalks.
Bangers n' Mosh has a large tree branch to the side of the place, and Giovanni-Chang's has been hit by a fallen tree branch to the front door.
They drive by the Elementary School and see Norm and some other troops clear out the water that flooded the place, chances there won't be school there until they cleared it out.
They see the Middle School and they're already beginning the repair to one part of the place, and as they recall from Ryan, that place is the chemistry lab.
They make it to the High School and see the large acorn statue has been knocked over from a fallen tree and it made a huge hole at the front of the school and right now they are busy repairing everything. They need a new acorn statue.
Even the café known as the Burnt Bean got hit, by a runway dumpster, that came from Lynn's Table. Oh no.
"Dang! The whole town looks like it went through one heck of a…. You gotta be kidding me!" Luna and Lincoln see that the music store took a hit, the storm was so strong it knocked over a car and it flew through the front window.
"No!" Luna and Lincoln get out and see the damage, they see some soldiers and the staff helping check on anything that took damage and they even see the manager with glasses and a ponytail checking on the old albums.
"Bro, we have to help them!" said Luna.
"Way ahead of you!" Lincoln and Luna then go over and help as well, and they're not alone. Sully and Mazzy show up and then coming in is Sam Sharp. They heard about the place that took a hit and they're gonna help clean this up.
(Later.)
After helping clear out anything that was damaged and checking for anything okay, Lincoln and Luna are back to driving around the town, they do felt bad that the music store took a beating, and that some of the vintage albums got….. Destroyed. Oh god, it hurts typing it too!
But at least the whole place is still standing and can be repaired. They now continue to check on everything, and then they see a familiar house that is near Ketcham Park, the home of Lucas and Jillian and they stop in front of the house.
"Hello kids." Jillian and her 7-month old baby go towards them.
"Hey, and whoa!" Lincoln and Luna see the roof of her home did take some damage. "That is some major issue" said Luna.
They do see some Allied troops and engineers getting the large tree branch off the roof, but it also punched into Lucas's room.
"Yeah, we're glad we weren't in there when it happened" said Jillian. "Like everyone else, we're also getting storm proof upgrades for our home and we hope it can hold."
Lincoln goes over to Lucas in his stroller and boops the baby's nose and this makes Lucas laugh and grab his finger. "Thank goodness you came to stay safe in the Rosato mansion, I don't want anything bad to happen to this little buddy."
"So, how long will this home get patched up?" asked Luna.
Jillian looks to the house. "Hard to say, but I do know a thing or two on construction and stuff. My father was the manager of the construction company, until it went bankrupt and I know how to help around a home that needs renovations."
Lincoln understands where this is going. "You want us to keep an eye on Lucas?"
Jillian smiles. "That would be nice, and I know you two are headed somewhere and I don't mind. He's safe with you guys, and bring this bag it has all you need just in case."
"We'll keep an eye on him, try and see if your home can be repaired quickly dude" replied Luna. They take the stroller and she puts it in the trunk and they get into the car and drive off.
Jillian then puts on a hard hat and some gloves and face shield and a chainsaw. "Time to go back to my old times." She starts the chainsaw and goes over to help get this large tree branch off her house.
(Ketcham Park.)
Lincoln and Luna arrive and they park the car, and get out. Lincoln is carrying Lucas and Luna gets the stroller out and they place him onto it and they see that they're not the only ones there.
They see a veterinarian's car and they know who owns it. "Silver."
They push the stroller into the park and sees… Not much damage or even a mess. Sure there are some leaves on the grass and a few twigs here and there and the trash cans have been knocked over and thankfully they are all empty but have been damaged from being tosses around, but the whole place looks fine.
We do recall, this park took a beating from some hoodlums with explosives last year, and FutureTech helped rebuild the park, and so it can hold its own when a storm hits, even a big one.
None of the trees have fallen, though the flower garden could use some tending too. "This park has seen better days, but she still looks good and so is the bench" said Lincoln.
Luna also sees it, the bench where Lincoln and Jordan first met up and started the whole relationship is still standing and just wet and has some leaves, but the bench could use a fresh coat of paint.
Luna then sees someone. "I see some familiar faces." Lincoln and Lucas also see them.
Delilah and her mom, Helena. The good Silver family, and both are checking on the resident Pokèmon in the area to see if any of them got hurt. They're Stunky is helping go through the bushes to see if any of the Pokèmon are harmed from the storm.
They go over and see them tending to the wounds of a Houndour and some Sandshrew. "Hey guys, you look busy" said Lincoln.
Delilah smiles seeing the trio and she finishes bandaging up the Houndour. "Hey guys, we have a lot of work to do. The mayor told us to come here and see how the wildlife here is doing and chances we might get some backup soon."
Lucas smiles and giggles and the Houndour goes closer for the baby to grab his muzzle and the Houndour licks him. The sight of this happy baby seemed enough to calm down the injured Pokèmon there.
Lincoln then asks. "You guys need some help?"
Helena smiles. "The help would be appreciated, thank you. Do you two know how to tend to some wounds?"
Luna grabs the Pokèmon first aid kit. "I've helped Linc with some scrapes before, I'm sure we can do this."
Lincoln also helps out, while at the same time they keep an eye on Lucas, though he seems to be occupied with some Iggly Buff and Sewaddle.
They all begin to keep tending the injuries from all the injured Pokèmon. Lincoln then looks around the park after helping the same Abomasnow they all know, he got an injury on his arm.
The park seems fine, and a bit messy and some medics have come to help them with what they do. 'We may have been hit by something big and intense, but in the end, we can all come together and pull through.'
And they will.
