Chapter 443.

"Uncle Carson's attack"

Lincoln, Jordan, Stella, Simon and Hope are waiting at the park, but why them? Well, their other friends are busy with other stuff and right now Gretchen and Ryan are spending some quality time at the Rosato mansion and with some video gaming.

But why are they there? Well, a family van arrives and comin out are none other, than the Carson family; Jessica Carson along with her parents Benjamin, Loretta and their youngest, Angel.

Carson brothers? Not here and who cares?!

Lincoln smiles seeing them and he goes over and hugs Jessica. To him, she's like another big sister. "Glad you guys came."

Jessica chuckles. "Glad I did came, and with my family too." She then looks to Jordan. "And how are the couple doing?"

Jordan giggles. "Doing well, we both still have feelings for each other and both have to deal with conflicts that might come to town and one major issue is gone from this town."

Simon, Stella and Hope walk towards them and say it. "No Leslie Silver."

Angel sighs in relief. "Thank goodness. I thought she was still here and I'd have to… Isn't she one of the mean girls?" Angel was referring to Hope Pertland who looks away nervously.

Hope waves. "Hi, I guess there's a whole lot to explain." They all go over to the benches and talk to each other about what's been happening and why Hope is with them and why Leslie is gone from town.

Then Jessica looks around. "Lincoln, where's Lori, Leni, Luna and Sam?"

"Oh, they said they'll be here soon" replied Lincoln. "Lori went to pick up Leni at the mall, and Luna and Sam are at the school and both were just there to check on the music room ever since the storm came. They'll catch up and hang out with us later."

But as they continue to talk, they didn't notice the three figures in a nearby black sedan and those men are Derrick Carson, Emanuel C. Chavez Del Santos and Jeremy J.K. Trump and they're using some homemade tech to listen in and they look to each other and nod, then they drive off.

Patriot, Valkyrie, Nora and Harrier are on a tree branch looking at Lincoln and the others, but then Patriot was looking around, and Valkyrie sees this.

Valkyrie. "Patriot, what are you looking at? Something wrong?"

Patriot. "Have you see the girls? Artemis and Freya said they were to meet with us here." He then looks to his son and daughter-in-law. "Harrier, Nora, do you know where they are?"

The eagles begin to have a conversation, and wonder where the heck Artemis and Freya are.

(Royal Woods Mall.)

Lori and Leni both walk out of the mall, and both of them talk about what they plan to do for today. They're gonna ride in Lori's car, Leni took the bus because her car is getting checked on the engine.

"So, college not doing well?" asked Leni.

Lori sighs. "Tests are becoming very, very difficult. But, I try to manage, and when I do need some help, then my roomie has my back. Carol sure is a good help, I hope she's having a nice time with her parents. Though, she could've hung out with the rest of us today with the Carson family."

"Carol has her own plans and we have ours, all we have to do now is…. Ow!" Leni then pulls something from her right arm and sees a blue feathered dart. "What the heck is….?" she then passes out.

"Leni!" Lori goes over and sees Leni is asleep. "What the what?" She then pulls out her phone to call for help. "Ow!" She the grabs a blue feathered dart from her neck and she too passes out.

Then Emanuel and Derrick go over, they tie up the girls and see some folk going towards them, so Jeremy fires a smoke canister from a grenade launcher and they head to their car and drive off.

The smoke clears, Dana and Becky look around and are shocked. "We have to call for help!" said Becky.

(Royal Woods High School.)

Sam walks out of the school first, she has her axe in hand and she also has Luna's car keys. She then opens the door to Luna's car and sees a text from Simon.

Simon – Hey sis, the Carson's are here and we're all waiting for you and Luna to come here, I hope the music room is doing fine.

Sam then responds with a text of her own, but before she can even respond. She's grabbed by someone and then a white cloth is on her face and she passes out. Emanuel then takes Sam to the black sedan and he ties her up and they place her in the back and drive off.

Luna and Bullets come out next, they both walk towards the car and are shocked. "What the heck?" Her car door is open, Sam's axe is on the ground and so is her phone, and in mid-texting too.

Luna then goes wide eyed. She knows that something has happened, so she grabs the stuff and she gets in her car and drives off. While Bullets is already in the air and scouring the town for any signs of where Sam is.

(Back at the park.)

The gang are still chatting, and not too far playing some soccer with her friends is Lynn, along with Margo, Paula and Polly.

"So, now that you guys are friends and there's no Leslie Silver, aren't you all worried she might try something else to get to you?" asked Angel.

"We are a bit cautious and we know she might come up with something, but we'll be ready for her and when she does show up or send someone, then she'll be in even bigger trouble" said Lincoln.

Jordan then gets up. "Be back guys, gotta use the restrooms." She then walks off and she high fives Lynn as she goes to the nearby restrooms.

Jessica then asks. "So, how was the place when that storm came? We heard about it on the news, but we didn't know the conditions of the town, did something happened to your home?"

"Where the heck did you kids go when the storm arrived?" asked Benjamin.

Lincoln is about to speak, but then he gets a message from Luna. "Oh, it's from Luna." He answers the call. "Hi Lunes…."

Luna. "Lincoln! Cam got kidnapped, I don't know how, but I know she got taken away! Trouble is here, and I'm headed to you guys!"

Lincoln is wide eyed, then Jessica gets a message. "Dana?" She then puts it on speaker. "Dana, what's…..?"

Dana. "Guys! Lori and Leni got taken away! Two large men and one in a car and they just used smoke to blind us and now they're gone! Where are you guys at now?!"

This raises some alarms and Lynn and her friends hear it and so do the eagles, then they hear Patriot squawking and he takes off with the eagles.

They all see where they're going and follow them. Even Lynn and her friends follow, but Polly goes back for her baseball bat and gear and then catches up.

They arrive to the scene and see Jordan being attacked, she retaliates as this man tries to cover her mouth with a cloth. "Lincoln!"

The Carson family know who it is. "Derrick?!"

The man sees them. "What the heck?!"

Lincoln runs towards the man and he calls out to Lynn. "Do it!" Lynn nods and she kicks the soccer ball and it hits Derrick in the face making him let go of Jordan, then he makes a run for it.

Jordan goes over and hugs Lincoln, she has a few bruises, but she's fine. The eagles swoop down and slash the man with precision as he runs to his car, and the doors open. "Get it, man!" said Emanuel.

Derrick then tosses a smoke bomb which blinds the eagles. They then see the black sedan drive off. "They're getting away!" said Stella.

"Not for long!" Polly tosses her ball into the air and with a swing from her bat the ball hits the back window and bounces around in the car and breaks out the front window and the car panics and knocks over a mailbox and drives off.

But they didn't know, that when they ran over the mailbox, the bottom of the car took some damage and some drops of oil has been left as a trail.

Luna's car arrives and she was what happened, she gets out of her car and goes towards the others. "Are you two okay?" She hugs Lincoln and Jordan and they hug her back.

Jordan takes a moment to recall what happened. "H-He tried to….. To take me away, but i….. I fought back." She looks to Lynn. "Thanks, Lynn."

Lynn nods and she has her ball. "Nothing to it, no one messes with family and you are family." She then looks to Polly. "Nice hit back there."

Polly places the bat on her shoulders. "Thanks, that hit was meant for us to track down the car, they have Lori, Leni and Sam probably."

Lincoln departs from the hug. "We need backup, we have some heathens to find." He then sees Jessica go to the road and look at something.

"Guys, I think we can track them down." They all see the droplets of oil, so it won't be hard to find a black sedan with two holes in the windows.

Benjamin, Loretta and Angel were now angered. 'Derrick, you are going too far now!'

But to Benjamin. 'This time, our parents won't be able to bail you out!'

(Somewhere outside of Royal Woods.)

The light shines, and soon Sam wakes up. She opens her eyes and she looks around and is shocked at what she sees. She's handcuffed, mouth taped, tied ups legs and tied to a chair, she can't move because the chair is bolted down onto the floor and she's not alone.

Onto her right is Leni and onto her left is Lori, and she looks around the room, which doesn't seem to be a room at all. She sees some sacks on the ground and they seem empty, but have bits of rice coming out. 'Wait, is this a truck trailer?!' She then sees the door of the trailer open, so she closes her eyes to pretend she's asleep.

Jeremy looks in and sees they're still knocked out. "I thought one of them woke up, never mind." He then goes to Emanuel who looks to the car he stole. "So, can we fix this?"

"Fix? Fix? Man, the windows all busted up, we can't go back into town and get what we need, or even that ponytailed girl, man."

They then see Derrick walk towards them and he has a big bandage on his nose and a black eye. "We have to go back in there, I didn't get that girl and I could've pulled out my gun and shot that white-haired kid if that other one didn't kick me in the face with that dang ball!"

"Well, we're gonna need a new set of fast wheels man, because with those holes on the windows, we'd be recognized for sure" said Emanuel. "Let me see if I can play hitch hiker and take a ride." He then walks off to the open road.

They are located somewhere in the middle of the woods, not too far from the Royal Woods sigh, and the semi-truck is there along with the trailer and where is all the sacks of rice? Dumped into a nearby ditch.

Sam sees the door slightly open, she can't move but she can hear everything.

"So, what do we do now boss man?" asked Jeremy. "They saw you and sure as hell they know you. I mean, what the heck was the rest of your family doing there, dude?"

Derrick growls. "Those louds did this, they made them into a family they're not! I am going to get that girl, but we're gonna need another plan, but for now we need to try and get my nephews out, then we can have a plan. We need to find out where they're keeping Chester, Roderick and Jerry, but the hard one to get is Edison."

"Wherever he is, is too secured and not an easy place to bust!"

"Yeah, I know and…." Jeremy checks his phone and is shocked. "Hey boss man, the alert went off and you gotta see this!"

They see the news and what it says.

"Breaking news: Royal Woods has been attacked by former convict Derrick Carson, and along with two associates Emanuel C. Chavez Del Santos and Jeremy J.K. Trump. Because of their presence of crime, the country has issued a transfer and double security onto the Carson brother in prison to avoid him from interacting with them. The man hunt is on and all law enforcements are now positioning themselves at every checkpoint and FutureTech is now on high alert."

Derrick is angered by this, he grabs the phone and throws it, munch to the disappointment from Jeremy. "Dude, I just stole that!"

"Dang it! Damn it! Fuck! That kid, that white-haired loud kid did this! He did this!" said Derrick as he kicks the side of the trailer. "I am going to kill that boy, and make him pay for this!"

Sam then sees Lori and Leni awake and scared, they all look to each other with worry, and then Lori recalls something. She shifts her hand and tries to use her fingernails to cut through the ropes, she picked a good day for her to get one heck of a pedicure.

They then hear Derrick talking. "You know what? We can come up with another plan, we can go into hiding and then we can figure out how to bail my nephews and then go after that girl and then kill the kid."

Jeremy crosses his arms. "What about the deal, Derrick?"

"We can deal with that later, now come one and go find Emanuel, now!" Derrick goes to the truck to start the engine, but it won't. "What the heck?" He then walks out to look at the hood, but he can't open it.

Jessica sneaks by and she begins to open the trailer door slowly and she goes in. Sam, Leni and Lori see her and smile. Jessica goes over and they stay quiet, she uses a knife to cut the ropes.

Meanwhile, Derrick is trying to get the hood open, but then he sees Jeremy come back in a rush and with him is a badly wounded Emanuel. "What in the heck? What the heck happened?"

"Derrick, we gotta get outta here, now!" said Jeremy. Then a Twinblade gunship flies by and a Harbinger gunship as well.

"They found us, they found us and some pixie cut shot me!" said Emanuel. "That gun, it looks like a world war gun, but the pellets hurt so much!"

"Well I can't get the truck started and the hood won't open!" said Derrick.

"Then the plan worked!" they then see an energy shield headed towards them, Derrick ducks but it hits Emanuel and he falls to the ground unconscious.

Jeremy then grabs out his gun to shoot, but then the energy shield from Jordan comes back and hits him in the back of the head and he drops his gun.

Lincoln then charges in and Derrick sees this and so he has a crowbar and both of them begin to fight each other.

Emanuel gets up, but his shoulder is still hurt, then a sleeping dart is shot at his neck and he falls unconscious and coming out of the trees is Luna with her new weapon and she sees Jordan toss her shield to a tree and it bounces off another tree and hits Jeremy in the groin and he squeals like a girl in pain.

Luna then fires a pellet, it hits Jeremy's back and explodes into itching powder and this makes him panic to scratch his back.

Derrick on the other hand tries to swing at Lincoln, and uses his combat skills, but Lincoln manages to dodge and try to hit him as well. "You got skills kid, I am impressed but after what you did to my nephews, I am going to kill you!"

"You were trained as a good soldier, but you went rogue and disobeyed orders and killed people! You won't have my respect!" Lincoln then dodges and he hits Derrick on his leg.

Derrick growls. "Time for some foul play!" He's about to pull out a gun, but then his hand is hit by a knife. He screams in pain and sees who threw it, and he sees his niece Jessica come out of the trailer alongside Sam, Lori and Leni.

"It's over Derrick, surrender now!" said Jessica.

"Never!" They then hear some squawking sounds and see Artemis and Freya swooping down, alongside the rest of the eagles and they begin to attack the man, Derrick uses his arms to cover his face. "Get these vermin away from me!"

So the eagles back off, but why? This confuses the others as well.

Then some dark shadows dive down and two large bird-lookin creatures arrive and attack. What are these birds?

Staraptor – looks like a bigger version of its previous evolution Staravia, except that its feathers are now puffed up into a crest, its eyes have turned into sharp ovals with red pupils, and its comb has now flipped over its head and has red colorations at the back.

Talonflame – a large hawk-like bird Pokèmon. It has flame-red feathers covering its head and wings, and specks of orange, resembling embers, on its underbelly and legs. The lower part of Talonflame's body is a gray color. Its large orange wings are tipped with black feathers. Its tail is black with yellow stripes. It has powerful legs and sharp yellow, clawed talons. Its eyes are narrowed and yellow in color, and it has a short, sharp black beak.

The others are shocked to see this. "No freaking way!" said Lincoln.

Seeing these large and scary birds was now making Derrick scared for his life.

Talonflame uses ember, and then Staraptor uses gust and this knocks Derrick away, but when he opens his eyes he screams in pain from the fiery attack from this deadly combo.

The man gets up and is in pain from the burns he got, then the eagles come in and grab him by his shirt and toss him towards Lincoln who draws back and hits Derrick in the face with his baseball pat, Lucifer making a large scarring gash on his left cheek.

Soon, the cops go into the woods. Jeremy tries to get up, but Officer Schoffner pins him down and cuffs him, then Peter Harris and the rest of the officers take away Emanuel.

Lincoln looks to Derrick who is in pain, then the cops take him away and bring him to the squad car, but they have to treat those nasty burns, bruises and that gash to his left check.

But then someone punches Derrick in the eye and he's knocked out, who hit him? His brother Benjamin who is seething with rage. "Consider yourself, no longer a Carson!"

They then bring the man away, along with his buddies.

Lincoln drops his bat and he goes over and he hugs Lori and Leni, Sam, Luna and Jordan also join in. They all have some tears and are happy they're not taken away from each other.

Lincoln feels more emotion that his two sisters were nearly taken, and also the girl who he sees as another sister, and that's within Sam.

Jessica goes over and sighs in relief. "Let's hope Derrick isn't let out this time." She then looks to her dad. "We can't let grandma and grandpa bail Derrick out."

Benjamin nods. "I know, I know. Sure as heck, I think the father of Gretchen can help with that. He is a lawyer after all."

They then depart from the hug and look to the eagles, but they're shocked to see Artemis going to the Staraptor and Freya going to the Talonflame and nuzzling onto them.

The other eagles are shocked as well, except Bullets. Why. "Meh. I actually kinda knew."

The eagles look to him in shock and in utter disbelief. Patriot the most. "You knew and didn't tell us?!"

Lincoln goes over, and the two large bird-type Pokèmon allow him to pet them, then Jordan goes over and does the same. They smile seeing this. This makes Artemis and Freya happy to see the kids okay with this.

Lincoln and Jordan look to Artemis and Freya and are stern. "You two have a lot to explain."

The two eagles then see the others also looking to them sternly. They all wanna know, how the heck did they meet them?!
