Chapter 444.
"Aftermath from a bad Carson."
(The Loud House.)
The day is looking great, and the backyard is looking quite the festive type.
The louds are all enjoying they're nice Sunday with some good friends with them.
Lily is playing with Yamper, Rockruff and the other pets. Metapod is just standing there, doing nothing, and of course Lola, Lana and Lisa enjoy some fun with them as well.
Lynn Jr and Margo are playing some soccer and chatting about their first soccer game this month/year.
Luan, Giggles and Zach are coming up with some good jokes for this Friday at the Chortle Portal.
Leni is with the gals having some time to catch up, and they're feeling alright after the whole incident with Derrick Carson and his friends when they tried to kidnap Lori, Leni, Sam and Jordan.
Luna and Sam are both discussing some stuff with each other and strumming some tunes on their acoustics to make the place feel comfortable and less stressful.
Lucy, and Haiku are both writing some poems and enjoy the company of bats with them, because they're both in the bat sanctuary.
The grownups are all at talking to each other, while Benjamin and Lynn Sr are making some barbeque on the grill, then the twins go over for some burgers and so does Luan, Giggles and Zach, then they go back to what they were doing.
Where are the Carson's staying at? The house next door from Mr. Grouse. Now, Jessica will be there for the weekend, but she'll be going back to college alongside Lori, Carol, Becky and Whitney when tomorrow comes, but the parents Benjamin and Loretta along with their daughter, Angel are gonna be staying for the remainder of the week in Royal Woods.
"So, what's the word on the whole bad brother thing?" asked Lynn Sr.
"Well, from what I heard. Derrick is no longer in the family name" said Benjamin. "And all thanks to Mr. Warwick, he is one dang good lawyer and really knows how to make the law play in the good favor."
"He is a good friend of ours, and he's still thankful for how our kids were able to change Gretchen from being a bad person and now a good girl who can make new friends" said Rita.
"Is there anything else we should know about where you're former brother is?" asked Michelle.
"At the moment, Derrick is facing 50 years for kidnapping and assault. He won't be out for a long time, and Mr. Warwick also managed to ensure that bailing him out won't work either, also those two idiots who were with him are being sent back to New York, for the same sentence" said Loretta.
"My parents won't be able to bust him out, it'll take tons of cash and the lawyer they have quitted after hearing what my former brother did" replied Benjamin. "They won't be expecting anymore visits from us, since they blame us for his arrest and think what he did was the right thing."
Loretta sighs. "Honestly, those two have issues and we also got someone to get them into a retirement home, which means they can't go anywhere or do anything to get Derrick out of jail."
They all felt relieved to hear that. "Thanks goodness, that man is delusional and a maniac" said Jesse. "He taught those boys of yours and made them into idiots. Sorry about that."
"No, no. We know that the boys have lost their ways, they always have been since Derrick visited the hospital for the first time to see Roderick born first, and he never showed up whe Jessica or Angel was born" said Loretta. "Just the four boys, which was a really bad sign for us."
"Word also got out to our boys and they're not happy about it" said Benjamin.
"You guys planning to disown them?" asked Peter.
Benjamin and Loretta look to each other. "We have to think about it. Possibly we will disown them for being such hoodlums" said Loretta. "It's like they're not even my sons anymore." She has a few tears and Benjamin goes over to comfort her.
The adults then continue their talk about some stuff and even tell them about the incident with Michelle Lewis and her cousins who came to invite her to the damn reunion she did not want to be a part of.
They all felt bad for her, and for Benjamin as well. The only kids they have are Jessica and Angel and both are nothing like the four boys who would soon be removed from the Carson family name.
Lincoln is talking with Jordan, Simon, Stella, Ryan, Hope, Gretchen and Angel Carson. They can tell there's something going in with the mind of Angel.
"Are you doing okay there Angel?" asked Hope.
Angel sighs. "Sorry, just still upset."
"About your former uncle?" asked Jordan.
Angel nods. "Yeah, because what he did was so horrible and he was planning to get the boys out too and do horrible things to the rest of you. He was demented and truly a bad person, and I don't like it. I'm sorry it all happened guys."
Lincoln and Jordan sit close to her and both place a hand on her shoulder. "Hey now, don't be like that Angel. The whole thing was not your fault, it never was. He did it to himself and he made your brother's into what they are now. You, Jessica and you're parents were not the bad guys, the others were."
"Don't let what the past did get to ya. You have friends here and we wanna be here to help keep you from feeling like a bad burden" said Jordan. "You don't need to be sorry, none of it was ever your fault. Be happy he won't be back, like you're brothers and former brother."
Angel smiles. "Yeah, thanks. I get the point now, just kinda upset still and I need to try and get over what happened and same with mom, dad and Jessica."
They decide to change the conversation. "So, how come your not gonna be at school tomorrow?" asked Simon. "I mean, we have to go to school tomorrow."
Angel smiles. "Well, the school I know back home is going through some maintenance after a far broke out from the science lab and so, we have one week of no school. Chances I'll go back to school before next Monday. But, I will be taking some classes from my laptop, which are from the teacher back at Tuscola."
Ryan whistles. "Dang, online classes. Nice one."
"What about your friends and boyfriend?" asked Gretchen,
"They said they're fine with me staying someplace else for a week, me and my fave guy have to take a break for a while and he too is also going to be staying someplace for a week and that location is his uncles and aunties home in Mapleton" replied Angel.
This makes Lincoln and Jordan shocked. "Did you say Mapleton?"
"Yeah, why?" asked Angel. "What's wrong?"
Simon then recalls something. "Right, these two along with the other pals and gals we had decided to try the one day student exchange program, and they went to Mapleton and had a blast there."
"More like, had a puck there!" said Zach. This makes Luan and Giggles chuckle at his pun. "Nailed it!"
They all continue to talk to each other and are all excited to spend some hangout time with Angel as he stays in Royal Woods.
With Jessica and the teens. She looks to Lincoln and the other kids and is a bit upset. "Oh jeez. I can't believe what happened yesterday, happened."
Lori can tell that this is still troubling Jessica. "Jessica, take it easy. That attack, was not your fault and you did a dang good job getting us out of there."
"We owe it to you for saving us, along with Sam and we're glad Jordan wasn't caught either" said Leni.
"Just be happy Derrick won't be coming back for a long, long time" said Dana.
Jessica sighs. "Thanks gals, but the whole ordeal is sorta ours to blame still, even though all of it was from Derrick, the Carson name was made into a threat because of him. Even though he's no longer within the family's last name, it still feels like a bad burning scar, and I thought the boys did more to disgrace us."
"The whole of Tuscola knows about the whole ordeal and I hope the folks back home don't get too suspicious with us and turn my family into outcast. I can't see them go through that, and all because our family members made bad things to the lives of those who did nothing to them."
Leni then places a hand on her shoulder. "Don't let it get to you Jessica. Sure he did make the last name you guys have into something bad, but it doesn't mean the last name can be fixed and shown that the Carson's are not all bad."
Jessica smiles hearing this. "Wow. Thanks, I needed that and I'll see what happens when the others do get home, I hope no one else will see my parents and little sister as bad people."
"I'm sure the folks at your hometown will understand. How long have they know the good from you guys?" asked Carol.
"For a long time, and even though the boys did cause trouble, they always saw respect when it came towards me, Angel and my parents. The boys were the issue, and they were hoping one day that they'd be locked up for a long time if they kept the trouble going" said Jessica.
"Well, they caused trouble and now are locked up, possibly and hopefully forever" replied Whitney.
They all chuckle at that, they then continue to talk, then Jessica thinks. 'One day, I should spend some time with Lincoln and Jordan, they're both so brave when it comes to danger and I'm so happy they kept they relationship strong, even against the mean odds from the mean rich girl.'
Jessica then catches the incoming soccer ball and she looks to Lynn and Margo. "Careful girls, I used to play soccer back in Middle School." She gets up and she kicks the ball with her knees back and forth, and then on her head and then kicks it and Margo catches it.
They all clap at what she did. "Nice" said Lynn Jr and Margo.
Luna and Sam both talk about whatever happened yesterday. "So, shaken from what happened?" asked Luna.
"A little, but I'm doing fine. I mean, I kinda knew we'd get out of there" said Sam. "When I got back home, boy to heck Simon couldn't stand seeing me get taken away and slept in my bed for the night. I had to comfort the little dude, he's my little bro and I'm hos big sis and no way am I letting him feel upset over what happened."
Luna smiles hearing this. Something she'd do when Lincoln would bet upset if she was nearly taken away. "We're both big sisters with a big role to fill and that role is to keep our little brother's safe and sound, and see them grownup and become such awesome guys with the life they can make."
Sam chuckles. "Dang right, but you got the biggest role of all, babe. Guardian to Lincoln and Jordan, and a big sister to Lincoln and a big sister figure to Jordan."
Luna smirks. "Not gonna lie, but it is one wicked role I have been given, and I will honor it. To the end, and if anything or anyone thinks they can come and bring harm to them, then they will have to get through me first."
Sam kisses Luna's cheek. "And that's what I truly admire from you babe. Talented, musical and a truly devoted loving big sister to the family, mostly to the little bro in your life."
Luna looks to Lincoln who is laughing alongside his friends. "Yeah, the best little bro to be in my life and I wouldn't trade that for the world."
Everyone enjoy the fun around this small barbeque hang out.
Lincoln then gets a text from Sid Chang.
Sid – Hey guys! Ronnie Anne and I did our best to raise some Egret chicks and they think we're they're mommy's! But we had to bring them back to the zoo so they can be with their real mommy. Hope you guys come and visit.
Lincoln smiles and this gives him an idea. 'A visit to Great Lakes City.' Then the eagles fly down, and with them are Talonflame and Staraptor and they're all startled by this.
"Oh wow! I forgot about these two big boys!" said Simon. He then pets the head of Talonflame. "They are cool though."
"Dang right on that one." Jordan pets the head of Staraptor.
Lincoln then looks to Artemis and Freya. "Sooner or later, you girls will have to tell us how the heck you met these two."
Artemis and Freya knew they needed to tell them how they met the two large bird-Pokèmon, chances they will be shocked when they hear what they have to say, but how can they tell them about it.
