Chapter 445.
"Penelope's visit."

The bell rings and the kids all come out, and are ready to head on home and get ready for tomorrow. But one group is doing fine and not feeling any bad vibes, and that would be the group of friends from Lincoln and Jordan. Well, not all of them are with them.
They see Delilah talking with Darrel, Allison and Laurence and they ride off with their bikes.
Rusty and Polly are both talking about any ideas on the upcoming "End of Winter roller derby event" They're going up against Lansing's roller derby girls. Rusty is helping them with strategy. How?!
The others just have some other things to do back at home, or with their family and loved ones.
So the ones who are going are with them to the mall are: Simon, Stella, Liam, Tabby, Clyde, Chloe, Gretchen, Ryan and Hope. They are all stoked for the day they're gonna have together.
"So, we're off to the mall guys?" asked Lincoln.
"Heck yeah" replied Chloe. "We got so many things to get, well mostly Clyde and myself."
Clyde smirks. "True, so true. The new cook book by Gordon Ramsey's daughter has been released and we are gonna get our hands on one!"
"Then what the heck are we waiting for? Let's get going" said Gretchen.
They do spot Artemis, Freya, Nora and Harrier on the tree branch and with them are Staraptor and Talonflame. "I am still confused, how the heck did they meet those two?" asked Hope.
"We're gonna have to wait for when the hero versions of ourselves can come and send someone to talk on how we can solve this" said Jordan. "In the meantime, we should get going now." They all hope into Hope's limo, Gretchen told her limo driver to head back to the mansion, and so he does.
Then someone meets up with them on her bike and they all smile. "Hi Angel." And it is, it's Angel Carson and she's finished with her online school day.
"Hi guys, my classes are done and I am so ready to hang out with you guys. Where are you guys off to?"
"The Royal Woods Mall, come on. Place your bike in the trunk and we'll all drive there" said Hope. Her driver places the bike into the trunk and they all get into the limo. They all drives off and the eagles are now in the air and keeping an eye on them.
They all begin to talk to each other about what they all plan to get from the mall, and also talk about the upcoming Royal Woods Middle School prom night next month. Lincoln then sends a text message to Luna.
Lincoln – Hey sis, the school day is done for us and we're going to the mall for some hang out and shopping time and we know you and Sam are going there as well and so we'll meet you two there.
Lincoln then presses send, and soon he gets a reply.
Luna – Sure thing bro, see you there with the rest of your pals. Leni is also with us, she has to go to work.
Lincoln smiles and they then Lincoln asks Angel. "So, how the heck is your dad even keeping the family supported?"
Angel smirks. "Sorry to burst the bubble there Linc, but dad is on a one week vacation from work, and he also won the lottery and now… We're millionaires!"
They are all wide eyed. "What?!"
(Royal Woods Mall.)
After one long shopping moment, they're all making their way to the food court. They did tell Luna and Sam about what angel Carson told them. "Whoa! Major explosion in the brain dudes! I am so off the charts and off my rocker! Dang!" said Sam.
"How the heck dude?" asked Luna.
Angel smirks as she carries her own bags. "Well, it all started when my dad got this lottery number from the magazine, which is the promo to the whole contest and so he kept it and then went to the mayor's hall where it was gonna happen and when the number 112 was called, it was his number and he won the cash prize!"
"Dang. Talk about one lucky day for him, but were there other prizes in the lottery?" asked Gretchen.
Angel nods. "Yup, the second place would get a brand new computer that comes with a laptop and two cellphones and a tablet, and the third win would get a one week paid trip to Aloha beach resort."
Jordan chuckles. "Now that brings back some dang good memories."
"Same" said Simon. "But some memories that are not meant to be recalled, ever." The others also agree, mostly Lincoln, Jordan, Stella, Luna and Sam. They don't wanna recall the whole shark ordeal.
Then Tabby asks. "So, what's the deal with the big second date for Clyde and Chloe?"
Clyde and Chloe blush and chuckle. "Well, we don't wanna make it such a big deal, but yeah. We are gonna have a date, this Friday and I am gonna make it into one this gal will always remember" said Clyde.
"And I look forward to it" replied Chloe, she then kisses Clyde's cheek. "But, I can only guess that it might involve some nice and fun cooking class routine style date, right?"
Clyde smirks. "Whoa. No spoilers Chloe, it has to be a surprise and I want you to be surprised."
The others all smile at this. "Hot dang, McBride. You and Chloe are both gonna have one heck of a future and I can see it could be into the whole cooking business" said Luna.
"By any chances, those two are gonna be the top in the baking business" said Ryan.
"Hi guys." They all stop and see who said that and all of them are shocked. Well, Lincoln, Jordan, Luna, Sam, Liam, Tabby and Stella are shocked to see who it is. "Long time no see, huh?"
Clyde is shocked the most. "P-Penelope?!"
And truth be told, it is Penelope. The ex-girlfriend of Clyde, the girl who decided that they should break up since her dad is going to work in Florida, and this makes Clyde's glasses nearly fall.
"Good to see you guys again, and it has been almost a year since we last saw each other, oh and I brought some friends with me as well."
They see the four friends Penelope brought with her.
Helena Potter - a little taller than Stella. Long black hair with a yellow bow in the back, wearing a yellow winter clothing with eagle logo on them and yellow and white sneakers.
Georgia Simmons - same hair as giggles but with a red bow to the right side. Wearing green winter clothing with eagle logo on them and brown winter boots.
Joanna Leopold - long blond hair with a hair band. Wearing blue winter clothing with eagle logo on them, a blue winter hat and yellow winter boots.
Hermione ravens - long blond hair. Wearing orange winter clothing with eagle logo on them, a scarf with a logo of an eagle, and green and white sneakers.
Hope then recalls. "Wait, Penelope? Like, the girl who used to date Clyde, that Penelope?"
"Whoa! This just got the turn for the unexpected so fast" said Gretchen.
Clyde wants to ask, but Chloe does it for him. "So, what brings you back in town?"
Penelope is confused, but she sees how close this girl is with Clyde and how both of them seem to have the same shopping bags from the cooking store in the mall, which could only mean this is Clyde's new love interest.
But before she could reply, her friends butt in. "Wow! The eagle champions and the rockstar from the summer tour!" said Georgia. Helena, Hermione and Joanna see this as well and are wide eyed.
Jordan sighs. "Yup, we got total fans, again. This seems familiar." She looks towards Angel who chuckles.
"Was I like this back when we first met?"
Lincoln smirks. "Not really, when we met you, you were kinda the nervous kind of gal who wanted to talk to me mostly, these girls right here seem to the fan girl based kind, almost like Sid and her idol."
The four girls go towards them. "We are such big fans of yours and have been following the news about what you guys have done and we heard about the eagles having chicks!" said Joanna.
Georgia sees the eagles on their shoulders. "Is that them? Are they the chicks from the original eagles? They're big now, wow! Where are Patriot and Valkyrie?"
Hermione sees the other eagles. "And what's with the Sea Eagle and those two odd-looking eagles?"
Luna then intervenes. "Hold the phone and put the brakes on hold girls. Do not think about crowding them up and asking too many questions." The girls remain silent and let the teen speak. "Now, just stay calm and let them sign autographs and then we can talk about this at the food court."
They all get to signing autographs and afterwards all of them head to the food court to talk, they can tell that Luna is not pleased to see this outcome. Since she recalls so much about Penelope, and what happened when she confronted them when they left the toy store with Lisa.
They all gather and combine some of the tables so they can all be in the same place, and they look towards Penelope, and so Clyde asks. "Penelope, been a long while."
Penelope sighs. "Yeah, it has and I can see you made new friends and a new love life."
Clyde chuckles. "Not yet, I mean we have a lot in common when it comes to cooking and Chloe… She helped me with my issues and I feel like I don't need the dang safety advice from my dad's. I can handle stuff on my own and I even learned to fight back and help my friends from trouble."
"Like when he helped save the girls from being abducted" said Simon.
Penelope is shocked to hear this, but she calms down. "Wow, and your dads?"
Clyde smiles. "Not a worry about, they understand me and they know when I have to change and grow up from the old Clyde McBride and become a better and more responsible person."
"Well, at last you're changing and I'm proud of you" said Penelope. She then looks to Gretchen and Hope. "And the rich girls I heard about from social media, glad you two changed for the better."
"Yeah, and all it took was some good talk and someone to teach me how to become someone else" said Gretchen as she holds Ryan's hand. He holds her hand and they share a small kiss.
"I just got some good and friendly advice from someone who showed me the mistakes I made and dang I am not gonna do those mistakes again" said Hope.
Penelope smiles at all of this. "Dang. I did miss a lot, and I am so happy all of you have changed for the better, but where are the others?"
"Had their own plans" said Jordan. "Now, we wanna know what you're doing back here?"
Penelope looks to her friends and so she tells them. "Well, my mom and dad thought it'd be nice to have a vacation here and reunite with some old friends from town and so I also decided to bring along some of my friends who wanna see you guys and these girls are total fans for the two of you."
They look to the four girls who wave at them, but Jordan can see one of them waving at Lincoln, and this makes her hold his hand and Luna sit close to her brother.
Penelope then continues. "Well, as of now. My dad is the boss of a newspaper company in Florida and my mom is a business woman for the Florida ship construction industry, and it turns out that the two companies they work for have been passed onto them from the wills of their deceased parents, or should I saw my grandparents."
This shocks them. "Dang. Did not see that one comin'. That explain why you had to move there and away from Royal Woods" replied Liam.
Penelope nods. "It is kinda nice to see some friendly faces and I am having an awesome time at the school I'm in, and I am part of the Florida Main line News club in the Middle School. I have been doing my best to bring in the best news and the truth to the school, students, and the staff and to those outside of the school, and most involve some safety stuff that are needed."
"She really knows how to put safety on the line" replied Hermione.
"Wow. That sounds like something Jenny does as well" said Tabby. "So, anything else we should know?"
Penelope then shows them the image of herself with another boy. "This is Stevens, we started dating when I came and we hung out for the summer and we kinda hit it off after ten dates and we're a thing."
"Whoa. Looks like someone got into romance again" said Simon. "Good for you, Penelope."
Clyde smirks. "Looks like we both have changed out of the past and are looking forward to the future, so when is this reunion your mom and dad are having with their friends?"
"This Saturday at the Royal Woods High School, and it's gonna be a lot of grownups who knew each other and had a blast in Middle School together" said Penelope. "He's in the Middle School soccer team, and he's so nice and so caring and hates bullies."
Lincoln chuckles. "Sounds like a good pal to me, anyways. It's nice to see an old friendly face back in town and I'm sure we'll be seeing more of you around too."
"Dang right" replied Penelope. She then decides to tell them something. "Guys, I am sorry for the way I have been acting back then, it's just that….. I wanted Clyde to be happy and to also be on good terms with his dad's and…."
"Penelope, it's okay" said Clyde. "We all made mistakes and we all wanna make up for them, and we understand what you had to do and that was the old us. Look at us now, all of us. We've changed and we're all going through some new looks into the future and I am happy for the way you've turned out."
"Same here, you're not the same girl as before and changed as well, and we know how much the past was hard on you when you had to make friendly with Clyde's dads. I had to stand up to them and it worked, and it is an honor to meet you for the first time, Penelope" said Chloe.
"We all forgive you, and we all are still friends" said Lincoln.
Penelope smiles hearing this. "Wow, thanks guys. I guess I have some time to make up for what I did as I stay here and get to know the many changes into the town."
Stella chuckles. "Girl, you don't know the half of it."
Penelope then asks. "Now, I need to know. Is the Jordacoln thing still going?"
Jordan smirks. "How's this answer your question?" She grabs Lincoln and she passionately kisses him and he kisses back. This makes Luna and Sam smirk and fist bump, while Ryan records this ordeal.
Penelope chuckles. "Dang. Still smitten."
Joanna seemed a bit jealous. "Yeah, yeah….. Smitten."
Helena nudges her. "Snap out of it, they're together."
Joanna sighs. "Yeah, yeah. Okay, let's just eat."
Luna notices this and so does Sam, they have a bad feeling about this girl, but they decided to let it be and go back to eating.
They all begin to talk to Penelope on how much has changed and the date Clyde has with Penelope on Friday.
