Author's Notes
Hi all! Clementine here. This is a new Blade written chapter.
Aztec13 - I do love me some interesting pairings. I love a few crack ships so expect some in this story ^^ - Clementine.
Guest - I'm glad you're enjoying it so far! Yeah I can admit I neglect the actual clothing of the characters sometimes. I added a little something in this one though so I hope it's better! - Clementine
sbktd - I'm glad you're enjoying how the situation is building up. I prefer to keep things slow and having everything just slowly build up. Staci should be interesting yesss.
lordgemini - Transition episodes are fun. There's going to be a few more fillerish ones, I enjoy just writing stuff to add personality and memories for each character. Yess they need to learn their area a little more. So they don't get scammed again lol
Dwayne and Leonard both walked along. Dwayne was telling Leonard half of his story while the wizard kid listened to him and was nodding his head.
"Oh boy, these interns were tough. The mysterious figure jumped in and saved us. He also gave me some drink. I don't know what it was, but it sure wasn't water" Dwayne chuckled as he kept telling his story while Leonard listened.
"hmm I see, can you remember what the figure looked like?" asked Leonard.
"eh I couldn't see as he had a cloak, so I have no idea who that guy is. He did help us, but my gut feeling tells me that he is not on our side" said Dwayne.
Leonard grunted as he held his hand under his chin "so how did you end up here?"
"oh, well after the mystery guy disappeared, Carnel brought us to the hospital. And it might come off as a surprise, but Scarlett was here as well" said Dwayne.
"Scarlett witch!" exclaimed Leonard
"yeah, I was shocked as much as you are buddy. But surprisingly she seemed… normal?" said Dwayne.
"Don't be foolish, sir Dwayne, it could be a trap! I also thought the scarlet witch was someone who was a trusty ally, but she nearly blew up the island, and I could have died along with my companions!" said Leonard.
"But you weren't here though, or do my memories lie to me again? " asked Dwayne.
"Oh, I was here. You just didn't see me because I used my invisibility cape!" exclaimed Leonard.
"Hahaha nice one!" laughed Dwayne.
"So I assume she was the one who sent you on this quest," asked Leonard.
"Yup, she said that she needed it for something. Not sure what it is but maybe it could help us" said Dwayne.
"or destroy us" frowned Leonard.
"Well, I love to think positively, son. You never know for sure what's coming for ya, but it's better than doing nothing" said Dwayne smiling.
"Hmmm, you are a wise guy you know" admitted Leonard.
"Hahahaha well I don't hear that often, but being an adult does give you advantages in life," said Dwayne, then his smile disappeared as he looked tired "but disadvantages as well, I think I can't walk much longer, son, my legs are tired"
"Well we could take a little break, we are in no rush" offered Leonard as they both sat on the bench.
"Thanks, son. I appreciate it" Dwayne thanked the wizard kid, but he just shook his head in response.
"No big deal, I always love helping citizens" smirked Leonard.
Meanwhile with Noah and Trent at the graveyard.
"Well here we are," said Trent as he both and Noah looked around the graveyard.
"Well I expected it to be bigger" snaked Noah.
Trent laughed "Well maybe not many people die here, I'd prefer it if it was smaller than bigger."
"I know, but considering how many things that have happened here I expected well you know" explained Noah.
"That's fair," said Trent "Well I guess we should separate."
"Why," asked Noah dumbfounded.
"Well it would save us more time, I mean we don't wanna spend here for over an hour, right?" said Trent.
Noah sighed "well I guess you are right. I will go check this side, while you will go check the opposite. Then we will meet at the centre of the graveyard. Sounds good?"
"Deal" smirked Trent.
Back with Leonard and Dwayne. While Dwayne was sitting on the bench, Leonard was looking at his spellbook. Dwayne peeked at what wizard boy was reading and decided to ask "Hey son can I ask something?"
"Go ahead" nodded Leonard.
"I was wondering which other magic tricks you know?" asked Dwayne with his eyes shining.
"Well, so far it seems I am capable of elemental magic. Fire, water, lightning, earth, air" explained Leonard.
"Ohh fire power could come in handy to set up a fire when camping," Dwayne said excitedly while Leonard glared at him "Did I said something wrong?"
"ah nothing it's just I've never gone camping before" admitted Leonard.
"Oh really?" asked Dwayne.
"Yeah, I'm usually busy going on my epic adventures so I don't have time for stuff like that" admitted Leonard.
"Oh, boy, that's rough. Me and Junior always go camping every year! It's like a tradition in our family you could say hahha! Hey maybe you should go camping with us one day" suggested Dwyane smiling.
"You wouldn't mind?" asked Leonard.
"Of course not, I'd love to have some extra company" smiled Dwayne.
"Thanks, sir Dwayne, I shall never forget your kindness" bowed Leonard.
"Oh it's no big deal really, and please call me just Dwayne," said Dwayne.
"Well If you insist then be that way," Leonard said "So are you good to go now?"
"Oh yeah, I feel more energy right now, like I could run across the city, haha!" Yelled Dwyane with excitement in his voice.
"Well that's good to hear, though I don't think you will need much energy now"
Dwayne raised an eyebrow "huh? What do you mean?"
"Because we already here" Leonard pointed at the blue bolt shop that was literally right in front of them.
"It's blue bolt? Huh, I probably was too tired so I hadn't noticed it" Dwayne shrugged.
Meanwhile at the graveyard. Noah walked for a while around the graveyard and looked at all gravestones to see if he could find the names of Emma or Owen.
Hmm, maybe I shouldn't be worried so much? Even if we will not find her here it still wouldn't make things better. She could be already in the future or her body is not even here.
Then he shook his head.
I need to shake off these thoughts. Like Trent said 'worrying about it wouldn't help'
He then noticed that only one gravestone was left to check. He took a deep breath.
it's better than nothing
He looked at the gravestone and sighed with relief. It wasn't Emma. But suddenly he snapped out of it and inspected the gravestone.
"Sierra?" he muttered as he read the name on the gravestone "Lastname is the same so I assume that it's our Sierra"
"Well, it seems now Codemeister has one less fan" the voice startled Noah as he turned around and saw Trent standing near him.
"Geez, man" Noah snarled while Trent laughed with a bit of sadness.
"Sorry I just saw you so deep in thought so I didn't want to bother you" laughed Trent sheepishly.
Noah rolled his eyes "Well I haven't found any information about Owen or Emma. The only familiar name I found is Sierra, so I assume she probably died at some point in the past. How about you have you found any gravestones with the name Emma?"
Trent shook his hand "Nope, but I found gravestones with names of some other Total Drama contestants"
"Really?" Noah raised an eyebrow.
Trent nodded solemnly "Yup. It was Stephanie and Mike. I haven't talked much with them but man it's sad to see people that you knew already passed away."
"Well at least we know some people who passed away so far, so I guess it could be kinda helpful," Noah said.
"And here's a chance that Emma, Owen, and Kitty are still alive" smiled Trent "hell I haven't seen any evidence of Gwen so she must be here too somewhere."
"Too early to celebrate" frowned Noah "They could've died already, but we just don't know that yet. Or like you said, they could be even in the future."
"True, but" Trent placed his hand on Noah's shoulder "worrying about it wouldn't do anything for us. We just have to hope that everything is okay with them. At least now we know that there's still a little chance that they are here. And even if we will not see them….we still have each other."
"Geez man with motivating speeches like this you should be a president, not a musician" Noah snarked.
Trent laughed as he punched him lightly "Hey man I would prefer making songs over debates any time and you know that!"
Noah smirked "Well not gonna lie but you are right. Whining about it all time would only make me feel worse… Well, I am relieved to know that at least here's some hope."
Trent smiled "it seems our little adventure here is done."
"Adventure? We literally just investigated a place that contains dead bodies" Noah deadpanned.
"Well, I don't know how to call it anything else really" Trent shrugged.
"Well, we should be going anyway, it's getting late," Noah said.
"Just one more moment." Trent looked at Sierra's grave.
"What is it?" Noah blinked.
"We didn't know the three that well but… I feel we should do a little something right? Like a moment of silence, a flower, anything. It'll at least bring a little bit of closure." Trent suggested.
"Hmmm, I guess." Noah just had a neutral expression.
"You don't seem so sad about this." Trent looked a little confused.
"Eh… I guess from the looks of the age of death" He looked at the gravestone. "Aged 78… She lived a long life. So… it's not the biggest tragedy." He looked back up.
"That's true. I still feel sad for them, especially being in such a situation." Trent said.
"Well let's just hope we don't end up in the same position. I got one idea actually." Noah said.
"Which is?"
"I'll tell you when we get back," Noah replied as he started walking back.
While Trent and Noah were going back to Scarlett, Leonard and Dwayne were inside the blue bolt.
"Hey this place looks nice" Dwayne commented.
"Indeed. A shame it only sells nuts and bolts though. I wanted to buy some mana…" Leonard muttered with narrowed eyes.
They went over to the stand where a large boy with a red cap was.
"he looks kinda familiar, is that-" Dwayne's thoughts were cut by Leonard.
"Salutations engineer B" Leonard grinned as he fist-bumped with B.
"Oh B! I didn't expect to see another contestant, but hey great to see you bud" Dwayne grinned as he also fist-bumped.
B just grinned and showed a finger gun gesture.
"So Dwayne what did you want to buy?" Leonard asked.
"Oh yeah uhm we are here for some nuts and bolts, do you have any? " Dwayne asked.
B nodded and offered a bucket full of nuts and bolts.
"marvellous!" "Wonderful!" both Leonard and Dwayne exclaimed at the same time. Dwayne gave B dollars that Scarlett gave him.
"Thanks for the help, buddy, I appreciate it," Dwyane said. B just showed thumbs up.
"Hey, how about going with us? We have a small adventure and you could be a great help for us!"
But B shook his hand in response.
"Awww a shame, would be nice to have you around. But hey thanks for the help anyway." Dwayne said disappointed. B nodded and showed thumbs up again
As both Dwayne and Leonard left the shop, Leonard immediately asked Dwayne "Well since our mission has been completed where to go next?"
"Well I guess we have to go back to the infirmary, the others should be there," Dwayne said.
"Very well, I can't wait to see what adventures will await us!" Leonard yelled excitedly
That made Dwayne chuckle "hehe me too buddy, me too."
Noah and Trent trek back to the infirmary and walked in.
"Scarlett?" Trent spoke out.
"Working!" She shouted from her work area.
"Alright! We'll talk to you when you're finished!" Trent shouted. He then turned to Noah. "So what was that thing you were talking about.
"Give me a moment…" Noah started rummaging through some of the drawers by the library and found an empty notepad. "Here we go."
"A notepad?" Trent questioned.
"We're going to record each total drama contestant death that happens here. So if we ever get back, their families will know at least their fate. It's nice to have closure as you said." Noah looked at him with a little sad expression.
"I… like that idea" Trent smiled.
Noah got a pen and wrote the names of Sierra, Chris, Dave, Stephanie and Mike down.
Trent watched him as he wrote.
Rest in peace guys. We'll get out of this for you. I promise.
