It was now the evening, the gang was on the other side of town. The area they were in was full of restaurants, clubs, and many other things relating to the nightlife. Mostly teens and young adults were roaming the streets now with lanterns and LEDs lighting up the area.

"Wowww it's very pretty here!" Dwayne gasped. "I don't think we've been out here during the night"

"Really? Dudes, it's amazing out here, great people, tasty food, fun moments, it's awesome! Me and Bridgette's first date in this world was here even." Geoff smiled.

"Oh really? How was it?" Trent asked.

"It was awesome! I'm taking you to the exact place I took her!" He smiled.

"Wow the beings here seem very loud," Leonard said as he observed the area.

He saw people drinking and laughing, some others just chatting away and even the occasional bar fight.

"Of course, they are having fun after all" Geoff smiled.

"Pretty wild stuff, makes you forget the situation we're in" Trent blinked.

"Oh don't be so down Trent. For you, it may be strange but for me, it's just life now! I'm in no 'situation' it's all just part of living" Geoff smiled.

"I guess so" Trent sighed a bit.

"It'll be ok Trent" Dwayne smiled at him.

"Hey. we're almost there, I'm sure you'll be much better once we get a few drinks in you dude" Geoff smirked and walked towards a building.

The building was wooden with a nice gloss finish on the outside. Two doors led inside, it already looked quite full.

"Sure we can get a seat?" Dwayne blinked.

"Of course! I know the owner." Geoff opened the door. As soon as they walked in they saw a queue of about 10 people in front of them. At the front was a waiter in dark red uniform who was directing people to their table.

"Should we head somewhere else?" Trent asked.

"Nah, it'll be fine, the queue goes quick" Geoff reassured.

"Perhaps I could find a spell within my book that can make time go forward" Leonard gets out his book.

Geoff grabbed and lowered the book. "No need dude. We can wait."

Leonard grumbled.

"I'm happy to see people here also appreciate a good queue" Dwayne smiled. "Back where I live queues are like the one thing people follow. We have queued for things like bathrooms, restaurants and even to who uses the traffic light button!"

"That's… pretty cool actually" Trent smiled a bit.

They moved along slowly in the queue.

Meanwhile, Noah was almost back to the infirmary.

Surely the guys must be heading back now.

He was eating a salad from a salad stand he bought from.

He opened the door and walked in. "Hey, Scarlett."

"Oh, Noah." She popped her head from the lab. "I see you're alone."

Noah nodded. "I went back early. The others should be back soon though."

"Mew" Perdi said as she approached Noah.

"Oh hey, cat." Noah blinked and walked past it.

Scarlett walked in, she was covered in sawdust.

"Not your finest outfit I see." Noah let out a bit of air.

"Yeah yeah. I just finished Trent's guitar" She smirked. "Something for him to get when he returns" She looked at Noah. "So, how was the swimming then?"

"Oh. It was ok I guess. I didn't go in myself, got a bit wet though…" Noah grumbled.

"Introverted as usual I see." Scarlett giggled. "Did Leonard learn?"

"Kinda. He's having more lessons tomorrow I believe. But he's making some progress." Noah blinked.

"Good good." She walked to a basket in the room and grabbed an apple. She bit into it. "You know, it's kinda weird how similar some parts of this world is to ours, they even have apples here." She bit into it more.

"Right." Noah frowned.

"Wow at least try to act interested Noah." She rolled her eyes. "Of course the one person who I'm stuck with is you of all people." She bit into it again. "What's wrong with you today?"

"Eh. Nothing much. Say I have a question actually." Noah said as he sat down on his bed.

Perdi jumped up beside him and just laid there.

"Oh?" She stopped eating. "What is it?"

"So… what actually happened between now and when you actually came here"

"..." Scarlett simply stared into the distance, her eyes looked a bit empty.

"Scarlett?" Noah said.

She had a few voices come into her head.

"No… No!"

"This can't be right…!"

"You can't do this!"

She shivered suddenly and blinked. She then looked back at Noah.

"Nothing. Nothing happened."

"Uh, what was that," He asked.

"Just a daydream is all" She smirked.

"Right." Noah blinked.

"From the looks of that salad, I'm guessing you aren't hungry," She said.

He shook his head.

"Well hopefully, nothing happened to the guys anyway. We still got a plan to perform." She said.

"Speaking of the plan, I have some information on the invisibility potion." Noah looked at her.

"Oh? Did you get the recipe?" She asked.

He shook his head. "The potionkeeper didn't want to give the recipe. Apparently, he only wanted to give it to 'Those who can prove themselves' really stupid if you ask me." He frowned. "He wants me to acquire a dragon horn in exchange for the recipe." He frowned more.

"A dragon horn?" She put her hand to her chin. "Interesting…" she whispered lightly to herself.

"Know how to get one?" He asked.

"Well from a dragon obviously" she smirked.

"Oh really? What a surprise…" He crossed his arms. "Does nowhere sell them?"

"Not around here no. Only in the big city but that's ages away" Scarlett rubbed her chin. "I guess you'll have to actually find and slay a dragon for its horns."

He raised an eyebrow. "And how exactly am I supposed to find a dragon? Where do they even live?"

She smiled. "You're in luck actually, bookworm." She walked over to her bookcase and started inspecting the books. "Where is it… where… ah!" She grabbed a book called 'The daily life and behaviour of dragons'. She flipped and skimmed the entire book in a few seconds. "It's dragon season around these parts so dragons should be easier to find than usual." She smirked.

"Ok." He blinked. "Two questions. One, where? In the mountains? In the forests?"

"Hmm, I remember a popular spot for dragons to lay their eggs was a nearby crystal cave in the forest you came from. It's so popular it has the name 'Ruby Dragon Cave'" She put the book down. "So I'd suggest going there."

"Hmm. Alright. And second. Why do you have a book on dragons?" He blinked.

She shrugged. "Well, I enjoy learning about this world. Also, I ran out of books to read so got whatever since I read them so fast." She smirked a little.

"Right." He blinked and started walking out.

"Where are you going?" She asked.

"To slay the dragon of course." He looked at her.

"On your own? I wouldn't recommend it, it's a DRAGON after all." she raised an eyebrow. "Plus I heard you can't control your powers still so you'd pretty much be a free meal. I'd suggest training that part and also getting the others."

"Eh. I think I'll be fine. Usually, if I get in danger my power tends to come up anyway. I don't need the others anyway, it'll be fine" He shrugged.

She walked up and frowned. "Noah, what's with you right now? I know you aren't stupid. What's going on?"

He lowered his head a little. "Eh. They have been helpful but at times I don't really feel like proper friends with the others."

"I'm sure that's more on you than on them, to be honest" She frowned.

He shrugged. "Maybe. I just feel like it'll be easier and quicker if I just got used to doing things on my own. It's how it worked when I was back home."

"Yeah well. This isn't school or work or whatever. It's life or death. I did think like you, thinking like I couldn't rely on others but… things change. Been a while since I've worked with a team. It's been..." she stopped for a moment.

He raised an eyebrow.

"Nevermind." She sighed. "Just… wait for the others ok? I doubt you want to die soon."

He rolled his eyes. "Fine, then what do I do for now?"

She smirked. "Since you already ate, I'm hungry still so… you can help me make dinner" she giggled and walked into the kitchen.

"Why." He frowned.

"Hey, it's the least you can do for me letting you stay here! Now come."

"Fine," Noah grumbled and followed.

Back at the restaurant, the guys were finally at the front of the line.

"Here we go dudes" Geoff smirked.

Geoff walked and leaned his elbows on the counter, he looked at the waiter. "Table for 4."

"Have you got a reservation? We're pretty full tonight." The waiter said.

"Oh, we don't have a reservation, but it's fine, I know the owner. Just tell Andrei that it's Geoff" He smiled.

"Wow smooth" Trent smirked.

The waiter nodded and dialled a number on the phone, he picked up and answered and started talking.

"I have a Geoff here asking for a table."

"Yes… Alright then, right away, thank you, bye" he hung up and looked at Geoff. "Right this way." He strolled off. The gang followed.

He sat them in a booth near the bar. Comfy leather chairs with a nice mahogany table to separate them. The guys sat down and the waiter gave them their menus. "Here you go, fellas."

"Cheers dude" Geoff smiled.

"Thanks!" Trent and Dwayne said in unison.

"Very generous fellow worker." Leonard smiled.

"I'll be back in a moment to take your drink orders," The waiter smiled and walked off.

"So Geoff" Trent looked at him. "How do you know the owner then?"

"Oh, Andrei? He was one of the first people I met in Aendrikard actually. When I got here this restaurant just started so we have quite the history." He smiled. "I'm so happy for him, it's one of the biggest in the city now, I even helped taste test some of the meals made here"

"Wow, you must have a lot of memories here" Dwayne smiled.

"Oh, many stories and such to talk about" He laughed. "I don't want to just talk my stuff though, what happened with you guys?"

The three looked at each other.

"Well," Dwayne said. "I think most of it began when I was in the forest and Noa-"

"I've heard all that from when you guys met and everything. Scarlett was telling me and Bridgette when you guys were out like yesterday or something. I mean before you met each other."

"Oh." Dwayne blinked. "Well it was nothing special for me, I just woke up in the forest and roamed around mostly lost. Tried my best to survive for the next few weeks, found at times water from lakes and rivers as well as the rain. Whatever I learned from my documentaries mostly. Oo! And then I found this fruit and I went up and got stuck and yeah." He chuckled. "And you know the rest"

"Nothing much eh dude?" Geoff said.

"Not really no, I haven't been here as long as you," Dwayne answered.

"Well, anyway" He looked at Leonard. "Wizard dude. What happened before you got here then?"

"Well, when I entered into this dream I went on a few adventures of my own. helping kids, scaring off beasts, and using my magic to fend off foes! I went on a few quests with differing levels of success. I even found a forest girl who had assisted me in acquiring me a spellbook to replace the one I didn't have when entering this dream."

"Dream?" Trent questioned.

"Of course. This is a dream after all" Leonard smirked. "A wonderful one as well"

"You think this is a dream?" Geoff blinked.

"Yes, even a wizard as smart as I would know that blue people don't exist" he smirked.

"I can tell you this is all real man," Trent said.

"You can't fool me, bard" he grumbled.

"I- uh. Anyway" Trent raised an eyebrow and looked at Geoff. "I guess you want to hear mine as well?"

"Of course" Geoff smiled.

"Well. When I got here I was frantically looking for Gwen to no avail. Looked for like a week and just lost a bit of hope. I eventually found this little cave area and spent the next few months there. Honestly, I don't know how long I was there.. the days become a blur out there man. I did find a guitar that allowed me to use powers though. Sadly the current is.. well destroyed."

"Blue intern dude?"

"Pretty much" Trent sweatdropped.

The waiter came over. "Would you like to order drinks"

"Yeah I'll have a pint of beer," Geoff said.

"Glass of water please," Dwayne said.

"Hey dude, come on you can have one glass of beer" Geoff smiled.

"I don't know, it's been a while." Dwayne blinked.

"Hey, it's not like we're driving back." Geoff laughed a little. "Come on, drink with us."

"Hmmm sure." Dwayne smiled a little. "1 pint for me also."

"Yeah I'll have a pint too" Trent smirked.

"Party members. I regret to inform you that I've never drunk such a beverage before." Leonard blinked.

"Oh? Never had alcohol?" Geoff asked.

Leonard shook his head.

"Well, let's make your first time great then!" Geoff smiled. "And a pint for him also."

The waiter nodded and walked off.

The guys started looking at their menus.

"Hey Geoff, so what's your power?" Trent looked at him.

"Do you really want to know? It's not that impressive. Nothing like you guy's powers." Geoff looked a little embarrassed.

"Oh come on tell us!" Dwayne smiled. "We won't judge! I don't even know if I even have one"

"Alright, I have the power to make people dance!" Geoff said.

"Dance?" Trent blinked. "Like force people to dance?"

Geoff nodded. "Check this out, Boogey time!" he shouted and finger gunned at Leonard.

A light aura formed around Leonard. "W-what? What is… I feel the urge to… dance!" He burst out of his seat and started doing the macarena.

Trent laughed. "Wow look at you go Leonard, Sweet moves!"

"Woo!" Dwayne exclaimed.

"P-please stop this! It's getting tiring" Leonard pleaded.

"Ok ok dude" Geoff's finger gunned again and Leonard's urge stopped.

"I would say it's useful, would be good at getting an enemy to stop without harming them," Trent said.

"Oh they can still move and do stuff, they just have to do it in dance. I don't use it much though." Geoff shrugged.

"Can you choose the dance?" Dwayne asked.

"No. It's just whatever the person feels like doing, apparently, Leonard wanted to do the macarena." Geoff chuckled.

Leonard's face went red. "I like the dance."

The waiter walked back with their drinks. "Are you ready to order now?"

"Sure give us a sec," Geoff said.

Dwayne proceeded to read through his menu. "Oh, I can finally have that steak! Yes!" His eyes sparkled. He looked at the waiter. "I'll have the steak meal, medium-rare."

"Sounds good dude." Geoff smiled. "I'll have the fish and chips" He smirked.

Trent looked through. "Hmmm, I'll have the chicken salad."

Leonard popped his head from behind the menu. "I'll have a cheeseburger. No tomatoes. Tomatoes are cursed with dark energy" He frowned.

"r-right. " The waiter exclaimed. "I'll get those for you guys" He walked off.

Geoff took a drink. "Ah, that's the good stuff."

Everyone other than Leonard took a sip.

"Ah… it's been a while haha" Dwayne smiled.

"Feels like I'm back home" Trent smiled sadly.

Geoff glanced at Leonard. "Well dude, you might as well try."

Leonard glanced at the glass. It was a bit frothy and rich in gold colour. It bubbled and fizzed up. "An interesting nectar…" He took a sip and suddenly coughed. "Ack! What is that foul drink? It's so bitter!" He growled and pushed it aside.

"Well, more for me then" Geoff took it. "I can get something a little more sweet for you if you want, like a cider."

"Hmmm Perhaps," Leonard replied.

Geoff got up and walked off to the bar.

"I'm really enjoying this" Trent smiled. "Wish Gwen was here though…"

"Hey, as I said, I'm sure things will be ok" Dwayne smiled at him.

"I know but it's hard to not be down about it a bit." Trent took a drink.

"My sensing powers can tell you that your other half is alive and well," Leonard said with his eyes closed.

"Well that's good to know," Trent said, unsure if any of that is true.

Geoff walked back with a bottle of berry cider. "Here dude." He gave it to him.

"Interesting…" He smelt it. "It definitely smells more fruity…" He took a drink. "Woah… that's good" He suddenly started downing it.

"Calm down there man" Trent's eyes widened.

He finished the whole bottle. "Ah… Refreshing"

Geoff laughed. "Wow, dude that was something!"

"This may be a long night," Dwayne said.

The boys proceeded to talk, eat and drink for the next few hours.

"D-don't say that?" Leonard hiccuped. "Or else you'll face the wrath of m-me! Leonard thehghh the wiwwiwiwzard" Leonard was on his 5th bottle.

Dwayne was asleep on the table. "Zzzz.." Drool was dripping a little from his mouth.

"Hey.. I didn't say anything insulting, I-i just said your robe reminded me of g-grass" Trent blinked.

"T-thats itt!" Leonard shouted and got his spellbook out. "Wa-wait give me a moment.." He flipped through the pages slowly, trying his best to read. "G… f… f.f firerereeeshuu babballl!" He shouted and opened his hand, a fireball plopped out and rolled on the ground for a few seconds before disappearing. "O-oh.."

"W-wow that was bad," Geoff said.

"Hahahaha" Trent couldn't stop laughing. "Hahaha- hic!" He hiccuped. "Ha- Hic!" Trent kept going in a cycle of laughs and hiccups.

"W-why are you laughing so much, i-it's just a bad f-fireballlll" Leonard slurred.

"I don't KNOWWW! Hahaha- hic!" Trent slammed his fist on the table a bit. "Hahah! I can't breathe!"

"G-ghh! Spl szapp electricucucucu!" Leonard shouted and wiggled his fingers. "G-ghh? It didn't do anything…"

"W-what was it suppose to do?" Geoff asked.

"S-summon fluffy thing! The cloud! And Zap!" Leonard shouted.

Meanwhile, Noah walked out of the infirmary to take the trash out.

"Very eventful evening… at least it's a clear night." He blinked and looked up. He saw a cloud. "Uh…"

The cloud came and zapped him.

"Ack! What the hell!" He shivered and flopped on the ground a bit. "Owwww"

Back at the restaurant, Geoff was balancing bottles. The stack was 8 bottles high and wobbling a little.

"Alright.. If I can get this y-you all owe me a drink!" He tried to stack the 9th bottle.

"G-go go!" Trent shouted.

He tried to balance it but it started falling. "Oh noo!" The bottles fell onto Dwyane.

"Ah! Hamburgers!" Dwyane woke up with bottles over him. "Why am i…"

"H-hey Dwayne! Hic!" Trent shouted and laughed more.

"Waiterrr bill pleaseeee" Geoff shouted.

"Oh, w-where are we going? Hic!" Trent asked.

"Out and about dudessss!" Geoff smirked.

"It's not over?" Dwayne said.

"Of course not! Hahaha!" Geoff drank the last of his drink.

The waiter came over and gave them the bill.

"Hereeeee keep the change" Geoff slapped a few silver pieces down. "Let's go dudesss!" He smirked and got up.

Leonard tries to stand "I-i can't" He fell over. "Ooofofofhh"

Dwayne bent over and helped him up. "I got you, Leonard.

"C-cheers oh lady Dwayneee!" Leonard said.

"Uh…" Dwayne blinked and help him over his shoulder.

Geoff smirked "Alright guyssss time for the outside lifeeee!" He started running out.

"W-wait for usss mannn hic" Trent followed and tumbled into a couple of tables. "Ack!"

"You ok Trent?!" Dwayne looked concerned.

"Y-yeah I'm good, oh hey! My hiccups are gone!" Trent got up and looked at the guests. "Sorry guysss!" He followed Geoff.

"Well looks like it's you and me, Leonard." He walked with Leonard out of the restaurant.

"I… I swwwweeeeeeeee" Leonard slurred.
