Chapter 457.
"Reports from the troubled town."
(January 23. Ketcham Park.)
Saturday has come, and everyone is enjoying some fun at the park.
Lynn Jr and her soccer team are all doing some fun practice runs there, scoring some goals and teaching them some tricks they can use when they need it the most, and Annabelle is one of them.
She then shows them some of the tricks and stuff she did on how she helped win for her team back when she went to school at Greatsville and all of them are impressed and so is Lynn.
Lynn was thinking that one day she would be a star player should she be able to help the team win, it could be a while for Annabelle to reach that rank, but they got the whole High School year to do so.
Lincoln and Jordan watch this from the benches and when the soccer ball goes towards them, they would kick it back.
"So, looking forward to tomorrow?" asked Jordan.
"Heck yeah I am. We're both gonna be there with the rest of our family for the christening of little baby Lucas" replied Lincoln. "Where is he now?"
"Well, from what my mom told me, Lucas and his mom are with our parents at the mall to look for something nice for the little guy to wear when the time comes and we should also wear something fancy too" said Jordan.
Lincoln smiles. "Feels nice that tomorrow we're gonna be part of something awesome and being there as the family for Lucas and his mom. They really need the support and we'll be there for when he feels upset and unsure about what's happening."
Jordan then holds his hand. "I do feel bad that the Henvers don't have any family, but I am glad they see the rest of us as they're family. They truly deserve one, but what happens if his dad comes back?"
"That won't happen" replied Lincoln as he intertwines his fingers with Jordan's. He knows this worries Jordan. "And if he does come back, then he has us to deal with and the rest of the loud and Rosato family. We're not going to let him anywhere near the baby."
"Glad we're all on the same page." they turn around and see Luna and Sam walk towards them with Bullets. "Hey dudes, so what did we miss?"
Sam then places down the bucket of KFC fried chicken with some gravy and soda. "We thought you guys and the rest of the team could use something to eat, and it was on a great deal too." They all sit down and enjoy to eat some chicken, there was plenty for Lynn's team too.
"Thanks for the chicken and we're just watching Lynn and her team play" said Lincoln.
"Annabelle seems quite happy with this" said Jordan. "Almost like she has truly found her home, in Royal Woods and a good family within the soccer team. She is so in the zone."
"Can't blame the gal" replied Sam. "She and her family have been through so much, and they didn't deserve to be shunned out like that, the folks of their home town are a bunch of jerks."
The eagles land down and they let them have some chicken, but the Pokèmon avian mates of Artemis and Freya are not there. They were busy elsewhere.
"Dang right" said Lincoln. Then he sees something. "Hey, what the heck is that?"
They all look up and see this Sunburst drone fly towards them. "Oh, must be an incoming message, could be the word on what's happening at Greatsville" said Jordan.
Luna looks to the soccer team. "Hey dudes! Greatsville news, come on!"
Hearing this makes Annabelle go wide-eyed and she runs over there and so does the rest of the team, but they do see the chicken and get some of that.
"Alright, now we can see what's been going on at that damned town" said Lainey.
"This should be good, and we got some food to enjoy while listening in" said Nadia.
"Come on bro, let's see what the word is about" said Lynn. "I wanna know how those jerks have been feeling since the big shout out from yesterday." She takes a bite of her chicken.
Lincoln and the others look to Annabelle C. McCann. "Annabelle?"
The girl sighs. "Let's hear it."
Lincoln and Jordan nod. Jordan then pushes the Sunburst drone and they see it's a recorded message and report from Victor, one of the members of FutureTech.
"Hello and greetings from Greatsville in Denver, Colorado. Though this place doesn't even seem like a great place at all. This is Victor, a key member of FutureTech and the Royal Defenders. I am here to report what has been happening in the former hometown of the C. McCann's, and I know Annabelle and some of the others are listening to this as well. Here we go."
"Alright, so when we deployed our forces alongside the United States government, with the full clearance of the state department of defense and the national guard and the orders from President Joe Biden. We have secured the town and are beginning to handle the crisis on what they did to the family that was once known as kind and not a threat and they still are."
"We have been speaking with the folks and all of them have been telling us how horrible the C. McCann family are and have been saying that they should kill themselves and end the bloodline forever."
Hearing this upsets Annabelle, she can see now that the folks of the town have lost themselves to their own beliefs of thinking she and her parents were bad.
"But we know those accusations are lies, since we have full proof evidence that ties with the many dark schemes into getting rid of the family, some of the cops were also planning to arrest the family and have them be tortured and beaten to death, and also possibly rape the daughter."
Now Annabelle was afraid, if she and her family were to stay there longer, then it would've turned bad.
Lynn and the team go over and do what they can to reassure Annabelle.
"Now, we managed to arrest and apprehend nearly the entire town and half of the populace here are saying they deny being mean and rude to you guys, but the footage shows the many things they have been saying and how they plan to get the family into trouble. Some seem to be making plans on hunting you guys."
"We dealt with the school and there have been a hell of a ton of bullying and mostly focusing on Annabelle and many have pleaded that they did insult and mock you and some are not saying anything, but the evidence shows otherwise and we're also arresting the coach and the cheerleading team who were planning on some heinous prank that looks like a murder scenario."
"The places where Danny and Layla C. McCann once worked at was also checked up on and they have….. Well destroyed the rose garden park, the whole place has been burnt to the ground."
"And for your father's former IT work place, turns out all of them wanted him out of there because he was promoted as the best employee for so long and it made them angry and the whole issue with the last name was their best shot to get rid of him, and then the boss fell in line and everything became clear."
"All the kids who have been taught the wrong things and straying away from the C. McCann family are now being sent to foster homes to be given new lessons and not be bullies, can't say much for most kids, since they are far off the chip off the old block, and so we're having them be sent to reformatory schools."
"Then we have the police department and as I said, they are nothing more than fallen cops to the darkness. We are now beginning the replacement order and Peacekeepers will take their place and this whole town is gonna have a lot of new and good folks moving in. We'll make sure this place won't be dark and unruly again."
"This is by far the biggest arrest we have ever done and a whole lot of things to rebuild from scratch for this town and making it into something better. This could be a while and I might be here for a while."
"Oh and then we have the stupid and vile mayor who was once kind. Hazel R. Eddit has been taken into custody and he told us all he had planned to the C. McCann family and then he tried to run, and when he did…. Well, he's not gonna be walking anytime soon, or moving, or breathing. He's dead."
This shocks them and Annabelle is confused. "What?!"
"Yeah, he tried to run then one of our associates Peter Sharp had his weapon armed and ready and he was going to fire a sleep dart, but he had no clue he was armed with a…. High Velocity armor piercing High explosive Concrete Buster round and the mayor was all over the place. So, yeah that happened and we'll handle that issue. At least he's out of the picture, and it was kinda something we did not see coming."
"So, anyway. Everything is still being secured and we're still making arrests and a lot of the folks are trying to run away from the law, but we have the whole dang town of Greatsville surrounded and don't worry about the whole jail thing. We got just the place to keep them locked up and impossible to break out."
"Also, word got out about this and someone powerful is inbound and is trying to reason with our superiors into claiming the town for his "Galactic Empire" and yes, it is Lord Hollow Cabal. He wants this town and make his mark. We're trying to get him to stop or things might not end so well."
"This is Victor, from FutureTech, over and out."
The Burst drone then flies off back to the Allied base.
Annabelle takes this time to think about what has happened and they all look towards her. "Annabelle, are you okay?" asked Margo.
Annabelle smiles. "Never better girls, never better." They all smile seeing this from her. She's calm now and has found the justice she was looking for.
Now Annabelle and her parents can enjoy the life they have in Royal Woods, and have less issues with the former hometown they were from.
So, C. McCann family, welcome to Saginaw, Michigan. Welcome to Royal Woods.

Well, this seems awfully familiar, a riot has broken loose and the main doors are busted open and a lot of inmates there are making a run for it. Some of them are taken down and brought back to the building.
But few manage to get away, with only a few injuries. Three of them travel far from the place and are now at an airport and hiding from security. Who are these guys?
Steak Stankco – Yeah, he's back, but his dad is not there. Stan Stankco is far away at another prison, but Steak promised he'd go and get his dad, once he finishes some unfinished business with a certain snow haired boy.
Kevin Fulcher – a 14-year old boy with ginger hair, freckles and taller than Stella, he is mean, ruthless and very abusive to others. His attire: long shirt with the color of military, brown pants and brown shoes.
He was sent to juvie for: Stealing from stores, nearly burning his school down, bullying girls, beating up smart kids and robbing houses, oh and animal abuse.
Crazy Alvin Madman – a 14-year old boy with very long hair like Jeff the killer's crazy-hair. He is an unbalanced psychopath and abusive at times, and he's kinda stupid too. His attire: light brown hoodia with a big image of Jeff the killer and a red drawing that says Jeff the killer rules, black jeans and black boots.
He was sent to juvie for: Always spreading fear and pretending he was Jeff the Killer, stalking girls to the restrooms to scare them and nearly beat up a woman who was with her 10-month old son and nearly kidnapped the kid, and killed the dog who stopped him.
The three boys look to the place and have an idea. "Boys, we got a ride, and now we can go to Royal Woods and get my revenge on that loser kid" said Steak.
"Oh yeah, and we get to do whatever the hell we want, man" said Kevin. "Right Alvin?" they both look around. "Alvin?"
Alvin is smiling and looking at the lights from the nearby gas station. Steak grabs him by the collar and brings him back to Kevin. "Come on you idiot."
"But, the pretty lights." They manage to make Alvin snap back to the plan and he follows them.
They board the plane and it makes its flight. They go into the cargo hold where everyone's luggage is being kept. They begin to raid for stuff. "There has to be something useful in here, search for something boys" replied Steak.
"Got something man." Kevin shows him the baseball bats he found and this makes them smile.
"Oh yeah, this'll do nicely" said Steak. "Nice job man."
Alvin snickers. "We gonna put hurt on them, we put hurt on them good."
Then they hear the pilot announce. "Attention passengers, we are going to be one hour to our destination of Charleston South Carolina."
The three boys realize, they got onto the wrong flight. This is gonna be a long while for them.
