Adam crept into Dean and CJ's room on a mission. Wake her up without waking Dean and kidnapping her for a drive to the airport. It was three in the morning and he and Jay were leaving for the airport in ten minutes. If she was in the mood to get up and get dressed then she could go with them.

He just wasn't expecting them to be awake and mid-conversation when he ninjaed in there.

"Is something wrong, Adam?" CJ asked, watching as he stood to his full height to look between her and Dean while she continued to massage her boyfriend's shoulders.

"Jay and I are headed to the airport in ten. Wanna come?"

"Definitely. I just need to wiggle into some jeans and- you don't mind, right?" She asked Dean, who shook his head quickly.

"Nope. Just come home and work some more magic with those hands and we'll be alright."

"Sure thing." CJ spoke softly, kissing his cheek before backwards somersaulting off the bed. Both Adam and Dean looked at her as she landed on her feet, silently wondering why she didn't just turn and slide off. "Shoo, Adam. I'm not taking off my pants with you in the room."

"You have before but whatever." Adam mumbled before exiting the bedroom, shutting the door behind him and leaving Dean to watch CJ go through their walk-in closet.

"Wear those ripped jeans so I can watch you strip when you get home."

"Yeah, no. I don't want my legs to get cold."

"It was worth a shot." He mumbled as he laid back in bed, his eyes still on her as she changed. "Leave that shirt on, though."

"But this is yours?" She stated in a questioning tone, looking down to make sure that she was still wearing his The Delta Bombers band tee.

"Yeah, and people have seen me in it so when they see you in it they'll know that you're still my future wife and they'll know not to fuck with you."

"I'm your future wife, now?" CJ asked with a small smile, grabbing a hair tie off of the dresser so she could tie the shirt in the back.

"Damn straight. But we can go with future fiancé if you'd prefer to be more accurate." He suggested, smiling when she frog splashed onto him.

"Babe, go to bed, you're starting to do that mixture of rambling and mumbling that makes you hard to understand."

"But I wanna be up when you come home." Dean mumbled, and she wanted to say that he was whining. But Dean Ambrose didn't whine.

"I want you to be well rested for pictures tomorrow morning. It'll be tedious and I don't wanna deal with a grumpy Dean, a most likely fussy Olive, and an excited Bear all at once." She reasoned, giggling when she felt his hands begin drumming on her denim clad cheeks.

"But ass-drums. I can totally do the drum part to Thunderstruck."

"Chrissie, five minutes!" Adam called and Dean huffed when she slid off of him to go into the bathroom.

"Don't be such a baby." She scolded, walking out of the bathroom while brushing her hair. He sat up and stared at her, fatigue dulling his usually bright blue eyes. "You're so tired, Ambrose."

"I know." He muttered, rubbing a hand down his face and scratching at his stubble. They heard Olivia begin fussing and Dean sighed as he got out of bed. "Drive safe, alright?"

"Always." She whispered, smiling when he kissed her. His hands gripped her hips to pull her closer to him while her hands weaved through his hair. "I'll be home soon."

"I'll be here, baby."

"Chrissie!"

"I'm coming!" She called, pulling Dean in for another kiss as Olivia's fussing turned into wailing for attention.

"Wear a coat." Dean suggested, heading into the nursery to get to Olivia while CJ went down the stairs. She ignored his suggestion, seeing that neither Adam nor Jay were wearing a coat. She was forced to sit in the backseat, not that she minded, and listened intently to Jay talking about the things he'd do to Dean if he messed things up with her.

"Y'know, even though he and his thugs beat me up that one time in Toronto, I like the guy."

"Really?" CJ asked and Jay nodded as he looked back at her.

"He's good for you. Really good for you."

"You think so?"

"I do." Jay spoke softly, his eyes forward as Adam parked. They all got out of the car and CJ pulled Jay into a tight hug. "This could wait until we were in the terminal."

"No it couldn't. I'm about to start crying, there's no way I can go in there." She mumbled into his neck and he smiled, kissing her head gently.

"I'm so proud of you kid. You branched out, found a man, made a baby, and you're happy. You found a life outside of wrestling, and that's something I didn't think you'd be able to do." He murmured, gently squeezing his niece. She only nodded and he could feel her tears on his neck while the quiet sobs reached both his ears and Adam's. Both knew that this was probably something long overdue and let it happen, Adam moving in to make it a group hug so she knew that they were both with her. "What's wrong, duckie?"

"It wasn't long enough."

"Next time will be longer. This was a really impromptu trip. I'll contact you in some way every day, so don't worry." Jay assured, gently patting her back.

"Promise?"

"I promise. No more tears, alright? I'm not worth crying over."

"Shut up." Both Adam and CJ spoke in unison, stepping back from their fellow countryman to glare at him.

"Relax, you guys. I have self worth. I meant it when I said you weren't supposed to grow up." Jay commented, placing his hand on her cheek. She saw that tears were welling up in his eyes and smiled when he kissed her forehead. "Roses are red."

"That tree is green."

"You'd reek of awesomeness,"

"If you went to prom with me." CJ finished the poem, her voice barely above a whisper as they smiled at one another. Adam just watched, knowing that they needed this moment together. "Travel safe, nerd."

"Stay out of trouble, dork."

"I'll have you know that I haven't been in trouble since like June."

"Atta girl." Jay praised, pulling her in for another hug. "So proud."

"You're going to make me start crying again." CJ mumbled, stepping back but keeping her hands on his cheeks. The position brought back memories to her eighteenth birthday, something that made Jay chuckle to himself before she kissed the corner of his lips.

"You did it wrong." He teased, smirking when she stared up at him.

"You're kidding."

"Give me a proper goodbye kiss, woman."

"Unbelievable man." She muttered, but complied. Adam wasn't expecting this so he had to look away, feeling a bit weird about watching his best friend kiss his daughter even if it meant nothing between them. It was weird, and it looked like something they had done before which weirded him out more.

"Your flight leaves in twenty." Adam reminded when they separated and just stared at each other. The silent conversations between them were something he had gotten used to, but he was still very weirded out by the kiss. He would be having a chat with CJ in the car.

"You don't have to wait in the terminal with me. I'm a big boy." Jay told Adam, pulling his best friend into a hug. Adam nodded, hugging his friend back.

"It was good to see you again, man. Fly safe and don't be a hero."

"I'm too much of a pussy for heroics." Jay assured as he stepped back, picking his bag up from the asphalt and beginning the walk into the airport. "Drive safe."

"Always." CJ called after him, leaning against the car. Adam mimicked her action, looking down at her with curiosity. "What?"

"You've kissed Jay before?"

"Loads of times. Goodbye kisses have been tradition for us."

"For how long?"

"Since we tried being a thing."

"You 'tried being a thing'? When was I going to be told about this?" Adam asked, obviously upset about bring left out of the loop.

"I thought you knew. It's not like we were sneaky about it."

"Did mom know?"

"Yeah."

"This started at your prom, didn't it?" He asked, not surprised when she nodded slowly. She probably thought that she was in trouble, but it wasn't his fault that he didn't know how to react to that information. "Of course it did. How long did it last?"

"Maybe a year? No, it was less than that. I dunno."

"Which means that you two had sex?" How he hoed she'd say no.

"A few times."

"Please please please tell me he was your first so I can sleep easy knowing that some douchebag didn't get that from you." Adam requested, making CJ bite her lip to keep from laughing. "Please."

"Yes, he was my first." She assured, smiling when Adam breathed a sigh of relief. "You want all the details?"

"Part of me says that's gross, 'cause you're my kid, but the other part of me says that I want all the juicy deets."

"When you figure it out, let me know."

"Does Dean know?"

"No. We've never really talked about past sexual relations besides what he already knows about my past with Seth. If he asked, I'd tell him, but I'm not just going to bring it up." CJ explained, nodding when Adam nodded.

"Do you remember?"

"I don't think a girl can forget her first time. Unless she was wasted. Which I wasn't." CJ added quickly, seeing Adam raise an eyebrow. "You guys had taken me on the road with you for my spring break, and you had to deal with something leaving Jay and I to explore Green Bay without you."

"Was this before or after you became a thing?"

"Before. I had just turned eighteen. We became a thing on my prom night after we got bored twenty minutes in and went to get ice cream."

"Did ice cream turn into sex?"

"Yeah. Yeah it did." She spoke with a nod, biting her lip at the memory. "Great sex."

"What the hell? How many times did you guys do it?"

"A lot of times. But that's not what's important."

"It's important to me. Was there ever a pregnancy scare?"

"No. We were safe every time."

"Good." Adam spoke firmly, noticing that CJ was still biting her lip. "Are you still reminiscing?"

"Not just the sex. Just the whole experience. We never really went out on dates, because of public image or whatever, but being treated like a woman and not Chris' kid that Adam adopted was pretty cool."

"I can only imagine."

"Are we really talking about this in the airport parking lot at four in the morning?"

"Is there any better time or place?" Adam asked, smirking down at her when as shrugged. "I've decided, I want to know."

"Not telling."

"Why not?"

"You're my dad. That's weird."

"That was Jay's plane." Adam commented, pointing at the one that just took off. CJ nodded, heading for the passenger door before he stopped her. "Tell me as a friend."

"No. That's still weird."

CJ was trying her best to catch up on a few minutes of much needed sleep after their appointment with the photographer. Everything had gone fine, but Adam had been pestering for information about her first time with Jay and it was exhausting. She had forgotten how sneaky he could be until he started popping up out of what seemed like nowhere to beg for information. It was all so very exhausting and Dean had sent her up to bed for a nap because he was tired of hearing her yawn.

But being alone left her to her thoughts and they were wandering to what was the third most special night of her life so far, falling behind Olivia's birth and the night she won the Diva's Championship in that order. It had really been an ordinary day until Adam left them and Jay forced her into seeing a horror movie that left her rattled. She had suddenly feared dying and told him that she didn't want to die a virgin and he assured her that she wouldn't. One thing led to another and she found herself lying naked in Jay's arms an hour an a half later while he whispered sweet nothings into her ear.

The details would kill Adam. She thought to herself with a smile, casually tracing patterns on the sheets where she'd usually lay. Dean's side of the bed looked much more appealing when she laid down and she felt good wrapped up in the sheets that smelled like a mixture of them; coconut, vanilla, mint, and that natural man scent that Dean always had despite being clean. It was amazing to her and sleep was soon calling her name.

Until the bedroom door opened.

"Chrissie, please. This is killing me on the inside."

"You're going to be mentally scarred for life and I'd rather not." She mumbled into the pillow, not making eye contact until Adam flung himself onto the bed so that he faced her. "No."

"Please." He groaned, beginning to bounce on the bed. Her only response was to pull the blanket over her head while he continued to do so, then started making goat noises when he didn't stop.

"What the hell is going on up here?" Beth asked after five minutes of listening to their nonsense. To say that she was surprised would be an understatement, but she had learned to start expecting the unexpected with these two.

"She slept with Jay and won't give me the juicy deets."

"Ten years ago!" CJ shouted from under the blanket, kicking at Adam. "He won't leave me alone."

"You slept with Jay?" Beth asked in surprise and CJ let out a groan as she rolled out of bed. "I've got to say that I'm curious now."

"Oh my god. I'm not telling my father figure about losing my viginity. That's weird." The younger argued, exiting the bedroom and heading down the stairs. She made a beeline for Dean and sat beside him on the couch, curling into his side and shutting her eyes. He didn't miss a beat from his conversation with Roman, and she was grateful that he just let her be. She knew that he wouldn't let anybody bother her while she tried to sleep beside him, and was actually asleep in minutes. His body heat, the sound of his voice, and the repetitive gentle caress of his knuckles against her side lulled her into sleep and she was quite grateful for it.
