Chapter 475.

"A moment of flight."

(Royal Woods Middle School.)

We're back to school my friends and right now we have a ton of students making it back and looking forward for when February 14 hits, which will be the Royal Woods Middle School prom night.

After the events of the attack from Sasha Alabaman, the Middle School went through a major repair to the front door and at some damaged and burnt rooms and parts of the hallways.

Now school is back in action and ready for everyone to get back to some regular classes.

Lincoln and Jordan walk down the halls and the duo talk about the upcoming event of the Middle School Prom. "Alright, so we're both about to embark on the upcoming prom. Our first ever prom, in this school year and not in High School, this is gonna be so awesome!" said Jordan.

Lincoln chuckles seeing Jordan so excited for this. "Take it easy, my love. We're not even close to it yet and we've yet to figure out what we're both gonna do when the night sparks for the both of us."

"What are you talking about, handsome?" Jordan then holds his hand. "We're gonna go dancing, enjoying the good food and then congratulating on who becomes the prom king and prom queen. We don't need a plan when the prom starts, we should go in and have some fun."

Lincoln chuckles. "Yeah, I guess you're right." Then he sees the new lockers. "Glad the school got patched up, this whole place did take one heck of a beating from what we all went through."

Jordan sighs. "Don't remind me. That was the worst thing to have ever happened to us at school, and usually we just face bullies who want us, but no, Sasha takes her attack on everyone else." Jordan is a little upset from what had happened, then she calms down. "Glad she's out of the picture."

Lincoln nods. "Yeah, and glad all of our pals and gals are doing fine now." He then has an idea and he looks to Jordan. "Hey, how long has it been since we skydived?"

Jordan recalls when they last skydived. "It was when we hung out with Pop-pop and Gran-gran. Why?"

Lincoln smirks. "You know what I'm thinking."

Jordan grins. "Oh heck yeah, and a dang good reason to get some adrenaline when we have our daily dodge ball sessions tomorrow." She then kisses Lincoln's cheek. "Now that is a smart move of a plan, and we can have the skydiving moment with the eagles and the new flying members of the family."

Lincoln smiles hearing that one. "Now you're talking." Then he spots Ryan and Gretchen talking to each other, and this gives Lincoln and Jordan an idea and they smile.

Jordan looks towards Lincoln with a smug look. "You thinking what I'm thinking?"

Lincoln chuckles. "Oh heck yeah, darling." they go over and talk to Ryan about something, that they have planned after school and he smiles. He's so in!

(After classes. Royal-Delta outpost.)

Located at the airfield of this base, we see tons of aircraft taking off and landing back in and then we see a large Allied aircraft, the Century Bomber getting ready for take-off.

Right now three people are inside and are already wearing wing suits and those folks are: Lincoln, Jordan and Ryan. Lincoln and Jordan have done this before, Ryan on the other hand hasn't told them something yet.

Also with them are all the eagles, along with Raptor, Apollo and Bullets.

"So, you ready for this bro? You're first time flying?" asked Jordan.

Ryan secures his parachute backpack. "Actually, I did this once before."

Lincoln and Jordan stop and they look towards Ryan. "Wait, what?" Peter Harris peeks to them from the cockpit and is surprised and confused.

Ryan nods. "It's true. Back when I worked with S.U.S.P.E.N.S.E, we would sometimes have missions when we would sky dive from the plane and then come down in wing suits and then land on the roof of a fruit punch factory and then use our chutes to come in and begin the plan to replace the fruit punch with peaches."

They all remain silent at what they had heard. "Wow. So, you did this before us?" asked Lincoln.

Ryan nods and nervously replies. "I kinda did. This isn't gonna be a problem, is it?"

Jordan smiles. "No, it's cool bro. This means that all three of us are veteran of skydiving. How long have you done the skydiving thing? Linc and I did it four times, the first was when we came back home."

Ryan tries to recall. "I started skydiving at the age of 11, and it went onward a month before we came to Royal Woods. So, I would say six times, and the first time was our skydiving in Chicago."

Now they are surprised. "Wow! Mind blown kids" replied Peter Harris. "Also, get ready to buckle up and hang on, we're gonna get ready for take-off, soon." He goes back to the cockpit to recheck on the plane's systems.

Lincoln, Jordan and Ryan nod, they head to their seats and they strap themselves in and the large bombing plane prepares for take-off.

(Ketcham Park.)

At the park, this is where all of Lincoln and Jordan's friends are: Liam, Tabby, Simon, Stella, Gretchen, Hope, Clyde, Chloe, Rusty, Polly, Zach, Giggles, Lance, Artie, Trent, Joy, Cookie, Kat, Flat Tire, Jenny, Mollie, Sadie, Richie, Chad, Christina, Allison, Laurence, Darrel and Hassan.

Then there are Lincoln's sisters, along with some of their friends. Luna, Sam, Lisa, Lucy, Haiku, Luan, Benny, Lynn, Margo, Paula, Annabelle, Lola, Lana, Jillian, Lucas, Michelle Lewis and Lily.

They even brought some of the pets with them: Ajax, Charles, Cliff, Geo, Walt, Della, Fangs, Hops, Victorie and Metapod. They came to see the new avians be part of this.

Leni couldn't come because she has work to do, same with Rita and Lynn Sr. but Jesse Rosato, Albert and Myrtle managed to have the time to watch this.

"So, when are they coming here?" asked Benny. "Because I don't see them."

Lisa uses her binoculars to look around the skies for any signs of them. "I do not see them yet, but rest assured that they will be here, soon. We must be patient after all."

Lucas plays with his plush panda and then hugs it, and this makes the girls aw at how cute he is. He then looks up and laughs. "Wincoln! Wordan!"

This makes them all shocked, Jillian looks to her son and smiles. "He said they're names? Wow, and I thought him calling me mom last week was incredible!"

Lucy realizes why he said that and she looks up. "Incoming." They all look up and see the Century Bomber. "How the heck did he know they were in there?"

Haiku thinks of what to say. "The youth be something of what we cannot be sure, but when the very young think of what they see, then what they see is something we cannot be able to see through our own eyes."

They all remain silent and look to her. "You lost me back there" replied Annabelle. They all look up to the place.

Luna smirks seeing the Century Bomber. 'Time for some classic Jordacoln skydiving, with a hint of Ryan Rosato in the mix.'

(In the Century Bomber.)

Peter Sharp then pushes the button and the three preteens and the birds see the light glow red. "Alright, that's the signal." Lincoln gets up and so does Jordan and Ryan.

Ryan holds onto the sides of the plane. "Wow. It has been a long time since I've walked inside of a really big plane." He then regains his balance and gets ready.

Lincoln then puts on his goggle and so does Jordan and Ryan. They then hear the voice of Peter Harris over the speaker.

"Alright you kids, listen up. Winter may have faded and spring is on the way, but don't underestimate the condition of the winds. As of now, the winds are calm and clear, but we're not sure that the wind might change patterns, so be prepared for what comes. Got it?"

The trio nod. "We got it." They then see the light turn yellow and the main door begins to slowly make a sound, meaning the Bombay doors below them are beginning to open.

"Stand ready!" yelled Jordan.

The eagles are prepared and Patriot and Valkyrie are smiling. They haven't done this in a while and they love it when they fly with their human companions.

The younger eagles also love this, they got the same rush as they're parents and Bullets…. Well, he's used to this and is also looking forward to it. But this is Apollo and Raptor's first time to do this and don't know what would happen next, but they'll be ready for what is to come.

The light turns green. "Let's dive!" yelled Lincoln. The Bombay doors below them open and they all drop out of the Century Bomber.

Lincoln and Jordan open their eyes and they look around them, they see the clouds in the sky that aren't too far anymore and they look to each other.

Lincoln and Jordan hold their hands together and smile. "Like old times."

Jordan giggles. "Like old times." The two of them share a passionate kiss as they fall, and then they depart and look around. "Where the heck is Ryan?"

Lincoln and Jordan then spot Ryan doing some twists and barrel rolls and he cheers. "Woohoo! This is so awesome! I forgot how fun and awesome this was!"

Lincoln and Jordan laugh a bit and they maneuver next to him. "You ready for this Ryan?" asked Lincoln. "We're almost there."

"So ready!" Ryan stands ready and so does Lincoln and Jordan.

They see the eagles skydive with them, and so does the avian-Pokémon. All of them are feeling the rush of the wind through their feathers and Bullet's sticks his tongue out and enjoys this.

They see the others at the park waving at them, they seem so small from where they stand. Lincoln then has the feeling in him. "Now!"

The trio deploy the wing suits and they begin to glide across the town at great speed, along with the eagles gliding with them.

They do some turns and some tactical maneuvering as they glide around and fly high above the town, as if they are eagles as well.

Lincoln and Jordan fly side by side and smile at this moment, they missed this. Then Ryan flies by them and cheers as he enjoys flying fast and with Harrier flying by his side.

Lincoln and Jordan chuckle and they try to keep up with him. "You know, this is the best way for us to bond with the eagles and help them train" replied Lincoln.

"Sure is." Jordan sees Valkyrie fly next to her and she pets her head. Then Jordan sees the folks at the park waving at them and recording what they're doing, then she has an idea. "Linc, the next time we do this, we should let two others join in. Like you said, this is the best way for us to bond with the eagles."

Lincoln looks to the park and he sees Hope and Gretchen recording them and cheering. "Yeah, I think that sounds like a dang good idea." He also sees Luna and then Sam. He does recall they have Bullets, and Apollo and Raptor and this gives him an idea.

'I think we should have one epic flight bonding moment.' Lincoln then looks ahead and he glides alongside the eagle companions and with his girlfriend and his friend by his side. They got one thing on their mind while doing this, and that would be the upcoming Bald Eagle Festival on March.
