'Jericho Sr. Forfeits Match Against Jr. At WrestleMania XXXI'

Those were the "breaking news" stories that CJ woke up to on the morning of March 29 and she was mad. Not just pissed off, but she was absolutely livid. This was supposed to be her day, and Chris couldn't even show up to get his ass kicked? It was just a minor concussion, according to the stories(but she felt that he was faking), he could've at least showed up to forfeit to her face. At least, that's what CJ felt.

"Ugh." The blonde groaned, leaning into Dean as he ate his breakfast in catering. Olivia was fast asleep in her arms, practically dead to the world as she cuddled into her mother. Dean wrapped an arm around CJ, his hand resting over Olivia's back as he continued to eat. "It's not fair."

"Babe, you'll get your match." Dean assured, having already heard from Stephanie that it would be CJ versus Chris at Extreme Rules. "And you're in the Diva's title match tonight so I don't get why you're complaining."

"That's all well and good, but I wanted that asshole tonight." She argued, pouting up at her boyfriend. Dean only sighed, trying his best to not get trapped in the pout but fell victim anyways, leaning down to kiss her nose. "Make Chris compete tonight."

"Would if I could, darlin'."

"I wish Olive could be at ringside to watch me win the Diva's Championship."

Someday. Dean thought to himself, smiling as he continued to eat his breakfast. CJ had taken her phone off the table and took a selfie, making sure that Olivia was in the picture. The couple was a bit more comfortable with having pictures of her on the internet, but limited posts with her face in the picture to two at the most. Three if it was adorable and totally worth it. "Eat your breakfast, sweetheart."

"I hope Nattie is ready to lose tonight."

"She'll lose with pride." He supposed, rubbing Olivia's back as CJ started stirring her oatmeal around. "Want me to take her?"

"I've got it. No worries."

"You sure?"

"I'm ambidextrous, remember?" She asked with a smile, earning a kiss to her head from her boyfriend.

"Stop buttering me up. I've got a big match tonight and I need to be fired up."

"I can fire you up real quick." He whispered in her ear, plaguing her mind with inappropriate thoughts as she ate. "And I bet you know what I have in mind."

"No butt stuff and not in the same room as Olive."

"Deal." Dean quickly agreed, kissing the top of her head once again before silence fell upon the couple and she smiled down at their daughter. Bright blue eyes stared up at her mother and CJ set down her fork to properly appreciate her daughter. "She's going to look just like you."

"That's what Adam says."

"She's going to be so fucking gorgeous and I'm going to have to buy a gun." He whispered into CJ's ear, making her look up at him in disbelief. "Just saying."

"Can we go shooting one day?"

"Seriously?"

"We should look into protection for our home, babe. I mean, sure we have Bear, but what if something happens to him?" CJ stated, obviously not enjoying the thought of anything happening to their fur baby. But it was still a possibility, one that terrified and bothered her, and all possibilities had to be considered. "What if something happens to you? God forbid, but I just need all of our bases to be covered."

"You're right, your highness. We'll look into it all after 'Mania season."

"Thank you, Sir Ambrose." CJ whispered, kissing his jaw to thank him some more. "Love you."

"And I, you, my queen."

"And you're sure that you're ready?" Paul asked, watching carefully as CJ punched at Brock's hands. "I've spoken with The Authority and they're willing to postpone-"

"Paul, I'm good to go." CJ assured, backing up and throwing a kick at Brock. The WWE World Heavyweight Champion chuckled as he caught her foot, holding it in place and watching as she bent over to stretch out her leg.

"Nice one, kid."

"I try." CJ breathed, standing on her two feet before swinging her other foot into Brock's hands to stretch. "Paul, is something wrong?"

"I just think that it's a bit soon after the choke slam and the collision with Dean on RAW, nobody wants you to be further injured." The advocate reasoned, making the young blonde smile. But her mind was made up and her goal was set, if she couldn't have Chris then she was going to have the Diva's Championship, then she'd beat Chris' ass at Extreme Rules. It was a perfect plan.

"Paul I appreciate the concern, but I'm fine. Honestly. If I wasn't then Dean wouldn't have let me get into the match." She reasoned, going back to punching Brock's hands while moving towards gorilla. She hated that she couldn't use too many of her new tricks tonight, because then Chris would have things to study up on, but loved that Brock had taught her the Kimura Lock.

"What if your father decides to try something?"

"You're ringside, Brock is going to be near gorilla, and Dean is with Olive in our locker room by the door." CJ stated, her punches increasing in speed and unintentionally in force. Luckily for her Brock could handle it so he just continued to take it, looking to the poor women that would be stepping into the ring with the Canadian. Natalya adjusted the belt on her shoulder while Alicia tried her best to not look like she was watching CJ try to annihilate Brock's hands. "What's gonna happen?"

"Jericho comes through the crowd?" Paul suggested, knowing that was the only option available to the Canadian man.

"He's got one shot, and I'll be out there." Brock stated, shaking out his hands once CJ stopped hitting them. "I thought Ambrose would be ringside with you."

"That was the plan, but we need somebody to watch Olive and Adam couldn't make it this year." She spoke with a small frown before shaking her head as Alicia's theme started. "Piss me off so I can-"

"Your Lionsaults look like shit and you would've lost to Chris because of it." Brock stated bluntly, tugging on CJ's ponytail and smirking when her eyes darkened. She said nothing, which was how the Beast knew that he had offended her before she and Paul made their way through the curtain.

Dean watched the monitor with a smile as CJ made her way down the ramp with Paul. She looked ready to go, and that was all he really wanted to see. The knee wasn't bothering her, and she wasn't letting Chris' forfeit get to her head either. It was going to be a good match whether or not she won the title.

"Look, Olive, it's mommy." Dean spoke to the infant, kissing the top of her head as she squealed in delight at the sight of her mother hopping onto the ring apron. "She's gonna whoop some asses and be the Champion again."

"The following contest is a triple threat match scheduled for one fall and it is for the Divas Championship!" Lillian announced, standing between the three women that were staring each other down. Their introductions were probably the longest Dean had ever been antsy while holding his daughter and he almost laughed when CJ scrunched her nose at Alicia Fox's fake ass handshake offering. But the two Canadian women shook hands in actual respect, which pissed off Alicia and made her charge for Natalya. CJ, who wasn't Alicia's biggest fan in the first place, instantly jumped onto the woman's back and assisted Natalya in getting Alicia out of the ring so that they could have a one-on-one match for the most part.

Having trained together for years, neither CJ nor Natalya really had an advantage over the other because, for the most part, they knew all of each other's tricks. It was obvious in the way that they matched each other's moves from the start and it was made painfully obvious when Natalya went for the spinning clothesline made famous by her father and CJ caught her and performed a backstabber.

"That's my girl." Dean praised, frowning when Olivia started to fuss. "Come on, darlin'. Aunt Nattie is gonna be okay, she just has to lose the championship."

He started gently bouncing her on his knee, being sure not to shake the five month old, watching as CJ rolled her longtime friend into the Walls of Jericho. It was then that he noticed a familiar face in the crowd and had to refrain from cussing in Olivia's ear when Chris jumped the barricade and threw Alicia back into the ring with enough force to knock over both CJ and Natalya. Heyman could be heard screaming his displeasure at the Canadian man while Adam could be seen jumping over the barricade to deal with CJ's sperm donor.

"What the hell is going on!?" Michael Cole shouted into his headset at the same time as Dean shouted at the monitor, startling Olivia and making her cry.

"Fuck, sorry princess." Dean whispered to the infant, standing and adjusting her so that her head rest over his heartbeat in an effort to calm her. "C'mon, Olive. Daddy didn't mean to scare you."

CJ was pissed and confused. Natalya was going to tap until Alicia knocked them both onto their sides, but she did everything she could to put pressure on her fellow countrywoman's back. She didn't want to know what was going on outside the ring, but she heard plenty of commotion to her left as she dropped herself onto Natalya in a pin attempt. A kick out at two had CJ trying to cover Alicia Fox, who kicked out at one and then pulled at CJ's hair.

Stupid bitch. The blonde thought to herself, throwing her head back with every intent to at least try to beak the African American woman's nose. A squeal of pain led to CJ's hair being released just in time for her to duck Natalya's basement drop kick so Alicia got two boots straight to the face before CJ lunged for Natalya with enough force for the two to start rolling around the ring.

"Why don't you do what you do best and lay down!?" CJ screamed at Natalya, slamming her head into the mat repeatedly until the blonde rammed her knee into CJ's ribs to gain leverage. It was then that CJ found herself on the receiving end of punches and slaps to her face while Natalya had her knees dug into CJ's shoulders to hold her in place. It wasn't until she tasted blood in her mouth that she knew that she needed to get the current champion off of her. Luckily for CJ, Dean had made a habit out of lifting her legs when they had sex so she was able to kick her legs up and ram her knees into Natalya's back, causing the dyed blonde to arch her back in pain and give CJ enough space to reverse their positions and flip into a jackknife cover. What CJ wasn't expecting, however, was for Alicia to jump on her stomach, forcing her onto Natalya, and then trying to cover both of them. Both Canadians kicked out, pushing Alicia off of them and both dove for the cover, CJ pushing her forearm into Alicia's face while Natalya hooked Alicia's left leg, but it resulted in another kick out at two.

CJ sat up, rubbing at her scalp where Alicia had been yanking at her hair, and took a look around the ring. She noticed Adam, who wasn't supposed to be in Silicon Valley, cradling his head as he leaned against the Spanish announce table and then noticed Chris standing on the apron to her left. It was then that she finally used something that Seth had taught her and sent a Superkick right into Chris' jaw, sending him into a heap onto the floor.

"What was that?" Natalya asked as she stood and CJ turned to her, shrugging before delivering a Superkick into her friend's face.

"It's nothing personal, Nattie. You just have what I want." CJ stated before running to the ropes and spring boarding into a Lionsault and hooking Natalya's leg upon impact.

One.

Two.

A kick out at two and a half had CJ screaming in frustration as she pulled at her hair. She smacked the mat in frustration, looking to the red before smacking her hand in what she felt should've been the tempo in which he counted. The ref demonstrated the proper tempo and and CJ groaned in frustration as Natalya sat up. Alicia was curled up in the corned, waving away at the two blondes in forfeit and trying to protect herself. The Canadians stood, Natalya rubbing at her jaw while CJ bent her knees to test how well her surgically repaired knee was holding up. A small twinge of pain had her concerned, but she was still standing fine so it would be okay.

Think like a Copeland. CJ coached herself, smiling when Adam made it to his feet and started hitting the canvas. She thought that she knew what he was asking her to do and nodded, pointing to him briefly before looking back to her opponent. Natalya was obviously trying to figure out the relation, looking around at the tens of thousands of people clapping in unison with her Adam. Having Adam in her corner, despite the crowd not exactly piecing together the fact that Adam was in her corner, was something CJ really wasn't expecting but didn't think it would ever happen. It was a pleasant surprise and really brought her spirits up.

Once again; CJ and Natalya locked up. This time CJ managed to grip Natalya's arm and twisted it, gaining some leverage as she pulled down on her arm a couple times to weaken it. For what move, she hadn't decided just yet but she was working on it. Her head was in about six different places, which she knew wasn't good for her current situation.

"Focus!" Paul shouted from where he stood beside Adam, noticing that his client wasn't focused on the match at all. "Kimura!"

"There's no way you know the Kimura Lock." Natalya muttered into CJ's ear, making the mother smirk as she wrapped up Natalya's arm the way that she was instructed to and fell onto her back. Her legs locked into place around Natalya's knees and she heard her countrywoman cry out in pain at the hold being applied while her arm was twisted like it was.

"What do you say, Natalya!?" The ref asked, and CJ gave the arm a wrench to force Natalya into tapping the mat in submission.

"I tap!" Natalya cried out, bringing a smirk out of CJ as she finally let go and pushed her friend off of her. The referee helped her to her feet and handed her the belt before raising her arm in victory, something that CJ relished in before she saw Adam in the ring behind her. She couldn't help but jump into his arms, fighting back tears as he whispered into her ear how proud of her that he truly was.

"I thought you were stuck at home?"

"I lied. Dean wanted us to surprise you and it didn't exactly go to plan but what matters is that I'm here." Adam explained, pulling back so he could raise her arm in victory with Heyman on her other side. He knew that this, sharing a big match win with him, was one of her dreams and he was so glad to be able to give this to her. This being a WrestleMania victory just made it all that much sweeter.

"Can we go get ice cream?" CJ asked once they were behind the curtain and Adam nodded, wiping away the tears that had fallen with a proud smile on his face. She was on cloud nine, and he was so glad to be able to see her like this.

Until they turned and saw Chris in the hallway.

All she saw was red, not even thinking as she charged towards her sperm donor with enough force to send them both to the floor. CJ was a flurry of fists, hitting Chris repeatedly while brushing off whoever kept trying to pull her back. She was fighting back tears while she did it, which further infuriated the blonde because she shouldn't be crying after winning the Diva's Championship while she beat the hell out of her father. That wasn't how vengeance worked.

"Chrissie, kiddo, relax." She heard Adam in her ear as he gently pried her off of Chris, keeping her tight in his arms to ensure that she didn't break away to continue beating her sperm donor's face into mush. She was near hysterics thanks to her current emotional overload and he truly felt sorry for her having to deal with such an asshole of a father. She was openly crying while he held her in his arms and he allowed her to burrow into his chest, gently petting her head while gently shushing her. "You're alright, Chrissie. I'm here and I'm not going anywhere."

She was too overwhelmed to speak, and Adam knew this. So he gently guided her to her feet and led her down to her dressing room and made sure to keep her face hidden as he did so. She hated openly crying and especially at work, so he was going to make this as easy on her as he possibly could.

"What happened?" Dean asked as soon as they got through the door and Adam sighed as he sat his daughter down in a chair and watched as her boyfriend knelt down in front of her to take off her kick pads and shoes.

"The shithead happened. She beat his face in, though. So that's something."

"That's my girl." Dean praised, gently massaging her right leg around her knee while she worked on stopping her tears. "Let's get you in a shower so we can go out to eat, alright?"

"I've got a Fallout thing to do."

"Paul can handle it." Adam stated, knowing that she wasn't in any mental or emotional state to be dealing with the press. "The only socializing you really need to be doing is with the trainer to check up on that knee."

"It's fine."

"We all saw you test it near the end, babe." Dean pointed out, wiping away her tears before helping her to her feet. "You can shower on the bus or here in the arena."

"Arena."

"To the Divas locker room." Beth spoke up, handing Olivia back to her father before pulling CJ into a hug. "I'll take care of her."
