Chapter 483
"Dodge ball training."
(Royal Woods Middle School.)
Classes are done for the day, and now we see the following students there at the gym and dressed in their gym clothing for something they haven't done since last year.
Gretchen, Simon, Stella, Trent, Lance, Artie, Mollie, Polly and Jenny.
Coach Keck is there and she greets them all. "Alrighty Middle Eagles, thanks for coming today after classes. Now, you all know we got a very big Dodge ball game to beat, and I was told that the whole thing will be made and set on March 27, and so we gotta give it our all and win it."
"We're not gonna be playing here in Royal Woods. We're all gonna take it to the Hazeltucky sports arena. Which means it's gonna be on their terms and not our own. Got it?"
They all nod. "Good, now let the training begin." She steps aside and walking out of the changing rooms are Lincoln Loud and Jordan Rosato, the team captains of the team.
"Hello guys, and glad you're all here. We ready to do this?" asked Lincoln.
The others nod, then Jordan speaks. "We know that the Hazeltucky dodge ball team will be at their best and will try to beat us when we compete this year and we give it our all. What's the one thing we recall about the neighboring town and their sports?"
Trent raises his hand. "We know they can get pretty edgy when it comes to dodge ball."
Polly also speaks. "Their roller derby team isn't as good as ours, but they seem to be pretty aggressive when it comes to soccer."
Artie also raises his hand. "They lost four baseball games to us, and only won once when they competed in golf against the High School."
Lincoln nods. "That is true, and they're not that great in taking loses, but most of their students are honorable with losing at some point. But those honorable ones are bearing from the new kids and the some of the old guard of the schools. So, we need to be cautious."
Jordan continues after him. "Recall, that because of the many times they failed from other sports, it would harden their teams to try their hardest for this first dodge ball game for them, and chances they might cheat. It's obvious, but they don't have Hank or Hawk."
Lincoln talks again. "Because they seemed to be always wanting to win and be aggressive because of those two. But with Hank and Hawk no longer part of their town, they might not be an aggressive kind of sports team and might have changed, but we can't just risk they have changed so be cautious."
"No matter what they do, and what they say will not hinder us, got it?" said Jordan. "The one thing we should be grateful, is that they're not like that damned dodge ball team from Beaverton."
"Which we all have come to terms, that their coach is a total jerk headed idiot" replied Lincoln.
They all agree to that one and so does Coach Keck. They really hated that guy.
"We're gonna be partaking in our second ever Dodge ball game, and it's not even the official sport of this town, but it will be soon" replied Lincoln.
"So, let's practice and keep up the momentum so we can make the win and make our town and our families proud" replied Jordan.
Hearing this gives them motivation that they could win this one and show the enemy who they are and what Royal Woods Middle Eagles can do.
Watching them practice are Hope, Ryan, Liam, Tabby, Sadie, Joy, Kat and Cookie. The eagles are also watching, and they all have safety gear in case the dodge balls begin to fly all over the place.
Lincoln and Jordan go to the dodge ball slinging machines. "With that being said, let the training begin." Lincoln and Jordan turn on the machines and they race to their friends and stand fast and ready.
The machines begin to throw dodge balls at them and all of them begin to dodge and catch dodge balls and throw them to the dummies that have been setup, while Coach Keck watches over them and gives the teammates instructions on what to do.
Lincoln and Jordan dodge, duck and catch, then throw with whatever skills they got from all they have been through, almost like their fighting a returning enemy and with those skills and experience, they could win this.
But the duo know, that before the dodge ball game, they will have to make it to the Bald Eagle Festival soon, on March.
(The Loud House.)
Michelle had finished picking up Lily, and she's now watching over the baby as they watch TV in the living room, Michelle goes through her notes, and the plans she has for her home to be moved, soon.
Michelle sighs and she looks to her plans. 'This is gonna be big, and I don't even know if the guys of FutureTech will even give a damn about my idea. I hope they can tell me the whole thing can be done.'
Then her phone rings and she answers it. "Hello?"
Peter Harris: Michelle, this is Peter Harris. Listen, we got a call from FutureTech, and they read your plans on moving your mansion to someplace else.
This makes Michelle get up from the couch and have hope in her eyes. "And what did they say?"
Peter Harris: They said yes, and that they'll do it and someone is gonna come and check out the entire layout of the whole mansion at California. When do you plan to check out the mansion again?
"This Saturday, and are you sure about this message? This is legit?" asked Michelle.
Peter Harris: Michelle, this message from FutureTech was sent by the boss of FutureTech, Martin McKenzie, and he is the man coming to check out the mansion. The entire layout and to see how it could fit into the large space you have reserved at Royal Dawn Country.
Michelle feels like she's gonna be in tears, her plan worked and now FutureTech is coming, well they're boss is coming to check out the layout of the location and the mansion and to see if it will work.
"Oh wow! Wow! Thank you Peter, thank you so, so much! This is gonna be just… Wow! I can't wait for this to happen, and thank you for telling me this!"
Peter Harris: My pleasure darling. Looks like you'll get what you wanted, and the louds are definitely going to be blown off their rockers when they hear what your big plan is. Call you later.
Michelle puts her phone down and she sits back on the couch and she sighs in relief. "This is it, almost there."
"Michelle?"
The woman looks to Lily who gets up and goes towards her. Michelle goes to the 3 year old and hugs her. "I'm fine Lily, I'm okay… Just… So excited! This is it, little girl. The time is near and soon… it'll come true!"
Lily doesn't know what's going on, so she hugs Michelle. A part of her thinks that Michelle is sad, but doesn't notice the change in her crying as tears of joy.
"Michelle?" The woman and Lily depart from the hug and they see Luna, Luan and Lynn Jr come into the house. "Dude, are you okay?" asked Luna.
"What's with the crying?" asked Lynn Jr. They all go over to check on her.
Michelle wipes away her tears and smiles. "These are tears of joy… And, this Saturday, we're all gonna go and check out the mansion, the Lewis Estate Mansion."
