Chapter 487.
"A few changes incoming."
(February 22, Royal Woods Middle School.)
Lincoln walks down the halls with Jordan and both don't seem to be okay with what they have heard from the text from this morning, and the rest of the students look to them with concern and then comes in are the friends of the duo.
"Lincoln… Jordan… We heard, you guys okay?" asked Tabby.
Lincoln and Jordan remain silent and just continue to walk down the halls and they reach their lockers and they grab what they need. Their friends go over to check on them.
"Are you guys doing okay?" asked Clyde, but Lincoln and Jordan ignore them and just grab what they need and walk away from them and head for the library.
They all know why their ticked off and they look out the window to see the eagles are scratching their claws onto the tree and they looked as ticked off as they are.
What the heck is going on? Well, recent news has been brought out to attention to those competing in this event through social media.
To all competitors headed to the annual Bald Eagles Festival contest: We are sad to announce that the event will not be taking place on the first week of March, but instead we have moved it to the first day of Spring Break, so the annual Bald Eagles Festival will be moved to March 21, and will be held at the same location, of Yellow Stone National Park.
We hope you all understand this.
Ryan, Gretchen and Hope aren't much into getting miffed at what they have heard, but they know that this means so much for Lincoln and Jordan to compete since they were part of it last year, and they wanted to see if the next generation can perform as well as Patriot and Valkyrie.
They're gonna need to give the duo some time to cool off, otherwise it could spark into one unorthodoxed issue and they recall the text from Luna too.
Luna Loud – Dudes, Lincoln and Jordan saw the news and they don't seem like in the good mood. They seem kinda miffed and well… Same with the feathered buddies, they're not doing well knowing they can't be able to perform for the contest early. Try and ease up on them and give them some space.
They all decide to take this warning and leave Lincoln and Jordan be.
Then Hope gets a message. "Guys, it's from Angel Carson." They can tell this was gonna be bad, they recall that she too was invited to come and see this year's Bald Eagle Festival and to be alongside them.
Angel Carson – Guys, I saw the news on social media and I am dang right ticked off at what I read and I know Lincoln and Jordan are also feeling miffed at this, and I hope they're doing fine. I'll text or call you guy's later, bye.
"Well, she doesn't seem mad, but I don't think we should ask any further" replied Gretchen.
Hope puts her phone away ad they follow Lincoln and Jordan, to make sure nothing bad happens.
(Timeskip, after classes.)
After a whole day of classes. Lincoln and Jordan walk out of the school and seem calmed down now, they see the three eagles and whistle to them and Harrier, Artemis and Freya land on their shoulders.
"Glad you two are back to the Lincoln and Jordan we all know and love" replied Liam.
"Thank goodness you two are chilled out" replied Tabby. "Otherwise, things would've sparked into one epic and heated conflict, and thank goodness we didn't have dodge ball either."
"Well, we needed some time to cool off and so we did and sorry for acting up like that guys" replied Jordan. "We were just miffed at the fact that the event was moved, but we understand now."
"She's right." They all look towards Lincoln. "Having the event on spring break is a good idea, we don't have school and the event is only three days and then when we get back to Royal Woods, we can have our sights locked onto the dodge ball game."
Mollie chuckles. "Yup, ladies and gentlemen, Lincoln and Jordan are back in it, and looking as fresh as they were before. Glad to have you two back on the good side again."
"We were never gone, Mollie, just ticked off" replied Jordan. She then sees Darrel and some other students place some fliers on the walls. "Which also reminds me, what about the Middle School talent show?"
"Well, I have an idea and Simon is gonna be part of it" replied Stella.
"We're gonna dance on stage, and with some others with us too" replied Simon. Standing with Simon and Stella, are Lance, Trent, Artie, Joy, Kat and Cookie. "We're gonna be dancing on stage and showing off how we can move and groove it."
"What about you guys?" asked Stella.
They all tell each other about what talents they all have in store, Rusty and Polly will be dancing as well, but on roller skates. Zach and Giggles will be doing a mime act. Tabby is gonna rock n' roll on stage and Chad will show them that he can do karate (chances it's gonna hurt… Him), but then Lincoln and Jordan speak up.
"Well, we hope you guys have fun with the talents you guys will be showing an dang right that we'll be cheering you guys on at the talent show on March 5" replied Lincoln.
"You guys aren't gonna be part of the talent show?" asked Clyde.
Lincoln and Jordan shook their heads. "We're gonna be busy with our own thing and that thing will be on the tricks and stuff for the Bald Eagle contest, but we will be there to cheer you guys on" replied Jordan. "But what the heck is the prize?"
"We don't know" replied Jenny. "Principal Ramirez said that it's gonna be a surprise. So, we won't know until the talent show, sorry guys."
"Well, at least we know that the prize will be worth it" replied Lance.
Liam looks to his watch. "Well, I gotta get going gang. My ma and pa will want me to head to the hen house and begin collecting as much eggs as I can, gotta make the sell for them today. Laters." Liam whistles and a horse comes and he rides off.
Tabby sighs at her boyfriend. "What a heck of a boy he is, my farm boy." She then walks to the bus with the others.
Lincoln then looks to his watch. "Gotta go and see Lynn and her baseball game." He gives Jordan a quick kiss. "See you later?"
Jordan giggles and returns the kiss. "We will, now go. Support your sister." she watches as the snow-haired boy goes into Luna's car and they drive off.
Jordan then walks towards her mom's car, then she sees a notification from her phone and sees this new video posted. 'What the heck? Another of that idiot's toy reviews? This is the 10th one and they haven't stopped. I swear he is going to get into a whole lot of trouble with whatever Carl is doing.'
She has no idea how much trouble Carl Casagrande is stuck in.
(Somewhere in the country side.)
At this moment, Lynn Loud Junior is in the van with her dad, Lynn Senior and he can tell that his little sports girl is not feeling too happy about something that happened earlier.
The rest of the louds have gone home early, since they know Lynn needs to chill out after her loss, well the team's loss for the third time. Another major low blow lose for the Royal Woods Kangaroos. (Quick question: What happened to the Royal Wood's Squirrels?)
Then they hear the voice from the radio. "Another lost from the Kangaroos."
Lynn sighs at this annoyance. "Dad, could you please turn it off?" She proceeds to look out the window and pretend she did not hear any of that.
Lynn Sr tries to switch the radio. "I don't think Team captain Lynn Loud has what it takes to lead Royal Woods to victory."
"Turn it off!" Lynn covers her ears. "Turn it off!" At this point, her father is just punching the radio and yet it's not stopping!
"If you ask me, she should be taking this personally…" Then Lynn Sr rips it out of the van and tosses it out the window, then he realized what he just did.
"Well, looks like we'll need a new radio for Vanzilla." Lynn Sr then looks to his upset sports loving daughter. "Hey, don't listen to that guy, he doesn't know anything."
But Lynn is not feeling pleased. "No. He's right. We haven't won a single game three times, and as captain that's on me. I would get out there myself, but I'm banned from pitching."
She then recalls the incident as to why she was banned from pitching and it all started with the team mascot form the rival team and how god dang annoying that dang goat was!
"At least that goat dropped his lawsuit, which I didn't know goats can sue people" replied Lynn, she still hates that goat!
Lynn Sr tries to reassure her. "Ah, don't worry LJ. You still got plenty of time for the rest of the season, and I will be there for you for the rest of the…" Then he sees something. "Oh! Farm fresh eggs!" But then he sees the stern look from LJ. "I mean… to make you a consolation omelet?"
Vanzilla makes it to the Lumpkin Honeycutt Farm and Lynn sees who is the kid selling and that kid is Lincoln's best friend, Liam Limpkin Honeycutt.
Liam sees Lynn and waves to her, which she just replies with a nod. Then Liam handles with the customer who needs a dozen cow pies for his tractor.
FYI: All my life, I did not know cow pies meant cow poop. What the hell?! Is that farm talk or something?
Liam then goes to grab some fresh cow pies and luckily the cow, Bessie has been busy all morning. Gross.
But the farm kid throws the cow pie so hard that the man is hit hard and lands next to his tractor, but Lynn ignores that and is impressed with what Liam had just done. "Whoa! What a throw!"
Liam also sees how hard he just threw that cow pie. "Woops. Sorry there fella."
Lynn then goes towards the farm kid. "Liam, why didn't Lincoln tell me you had such a…" Then she recalls. "Wait, Lincoln did mention it. I guess I kinda didn't care, sorry."
Liam chuckles. "Not to worry Lynn, and truth be told, I have been doing this arm busting thing since I did my first chore and that chore was hauling manure and I was 2 at that time too."
(Now imagine a 2-year old Liam hauling a large sack of manure!)
Lynn then grabs the farm kid. "Hey, hey. You wanna tryout for baseball? The team could really use you, after all. You got one heck of a pitcher's arm with that throw."
Liam thinks about this. "Well, I guess I could give it a shot. Next to horseshoe tossing with my memaw and hog wrestling with Virginia and the other pigs. I'm down for some baseball."
"Awesome! Plus, I can help you train to see how well that arm of yours is, and with you on the mound, I think I could be able to turn this season around!" said Lynn.
They high five each other, but then Lynn sees cow pie on her hand. Liam chuckles nervously. "Whoops, sorry about that."
Then Lynn Sr calls. "Excuse me, but I wanna buy some eggs!"

A/N: So, the eagle contest is gonna be moved, and everything you guys have read is all based off of the new episodes from both the Loud House and the Casagrandes, and let's just say Lincoln won't like it after Liam's arm goes bad, and same goes with Tabby too. But they have a lot of games to deal with and it'll be a long time before that incident goes down south to the arm bar. Leave a review and tell me what you all think.
