Seth watched Dean and CJ carefully as they interacted before his rematch against Randy Orton. Dean had his hands on her cheeks and their foreheads were connected while he whispered things to her. Seth assumed that they were words of wisdom, but he could never be too sure with them. She had warmed up and gotten all of the tips and pointers she could get from her group of men and felt that she was ready. He felt that she was ready, too, but he was always worrying about her.

But he was scared. This was a huge night for the three of them. He was turning on the Authority tonight and making his alliance known. Paul Heyman needed a new "family" and he was getting it with the group he had around him now. CJ, Dean, Brock, and now him. They would be practically unstoppable so long as their egos all stayed together and Pail kept his end of the deal. Never did he ever think he'd be working with Paul Heyman again, but it wasn't a bad gig to have. At least this time he wasn't doing Paul's dirty work. That was something Seth could live without doing ever again.

Everything changed tonight, and it'll all happen when he kicked basically kicked The Authority right in the face in the first match of the night. Dean's IC Title match was midcard, CJ's being the semi-main event leading into the main event which was a rematch between Brock and Roman. Anything could happen during those matches and Seth was grateful that Adam had Olivia for the day because the last thing he needed was to be worrying about their daughter on top of everything else.

CJ and Dean didn't want Olivia seeing what could possibly happen to all three of her parents on this night. Adam, who actually didn't want to watch her match with Chris, offered to take Olivia for the day while Beth was actually sitting front row so she could watch the match and give him text updates. CJ was surprised by Beth actually wanting to watch and Adam not wanting to, but she figured that Beth needed to support her and Adam didn't want to see her get hurt. But, what they didn't know, was that CJ had an ace up her sleeve.

She and Paul had a plan, an easy to spot plan, but that was why nobody would see it coming. Instead of complex, she and Paul were going for the obvious. Brock would be ringside, but he wouldn't be interfering. Depending on how Dean and Seth were feeling, they may or may not be making an appearance during her match.

"Let's go, Seth." Jamie Noble called and Seth nodded as he noticed Dean and CJ's attention shift to him. A nod on Dean's end received a wink from Seth, and CJ smirked as Paul and Brock joined them. He had a promising future with that group on individuals, and couldn't wait to have it all with them.

"Are you doing alright, Seth?" Kane asked, placing his hand on the younger man's shoulder. Seth only nodded, feeling the butterflies in his stomach at what he was going to do. These people trusted him, they had put so much time and effort into him and his future, and he was going to betray them.

Wouldn't be the first time though.

"How do you think he'll do it?" CJ asked, keeping herself as close to Dean as she could. Her nerves were everywhere, and she needed the stability that he offered her.

"I dunno." Dean mumbled, pecking her lips with a smile. His plan was coming into play. Once Seth turned on The Authority and came to play for the "good guys", then it would be nothing but mind games and tormenting them with pranks and it was going to be so much fun. He couldn't wait. Operation: Screw The Authority would be more than just a daydream in about ten minutes. "But it'll be great, babe."

"Is it bad that I'm like a nervous wreck right now?" She whispered, looking up to see him still smiling down at her. She wished that she fully understood how he was so happy with them both going into dangerous matches and Seth putting a target on his back for their sake, but she just felt as though it would be something that he wouldn't be able to explain in a way that would make sense to her. So she dropped it, electing not to ask why he was practically giddy and awaited his response to her question.

"The biggest match of your career is in an hour. You've got every right to have those butterflies in your stomach and I know that they'll go away once you've gone through the curtain."

"You have that much faith in me?"

"And then some."

After Seth kicked Kane in the jaw and then ditched his former "family" during their match, he went straight to where the Heyman Family was lodged up and was well received by the group before they all went back to what they were doing. Dean, Paul, and Brock were forming their strategy for CJ's security for the duration of the night and the future while the Canadian was sitting in the corner with her championship in her lap, staring intently at the butterfly belt and holding onto the leather tightly as if it were going to be taken from her. So instead of joining the guys, he sat down in front of her and gently pried the belt away to get her attention.

"Looks better on me, don't ya think?" He joked, getting a small smile out of her as she went to take it back from him.

"Because pink is totally your color, Sethie." She teased, totally kidding at first before she realized that he actually did look pretty good with the Diva's Championship. "Actually... it kind of is."

"Take it back." He requested with a laugh, gently tossing it to her. CJ caught it with a grin, but tilted her head with a pout soon after as she looked at it. "What's wrong?"

"I just don't know if I like being the Diva's Champion anymore." Her admission stunned the room into a silence, all the men looking to her for some sort of explanation. She had done all of that work and even decimated Naomi, who would've been a fine face of the division, in order to send a message to the locker room as she retained the championship. Now, just six days later, she doesn't want it anymore?

"What are you saying, babe?" Dean asked, not liking the way she was smiling at the belt. He didn't like that he had absolutely no clue what was going on in her head at the moment.

"I dunno, I think being Women's Champion is more my caliber these days." She spoke with a smirk, getting a collective sigh of relief out of the room as well as a chuckle from Paul. "I'm not a silver medalist, anymore. I'm the gold standard, and this belt just isn't cutting it for me."

"The golden standard needs the legitimate gold." Paul agreed, making a note on his phone before a knock sounded on the door. Seth tensed, fearing The Authority, but relaxed when it was just a stagehand letting Dean know that his match was in five minutes. CJ stood to go with him to gorilla, and Seth watched her go with a concerned frown. Did she forget that her father wanted to end her career and now The Authority probably wanted to now that they've most likely figured out just why Seth betrayed them?

"She'll be fine. The Authority issued a legal No Contact order between her and Chris until the bell rings for their match. If he so much as breathes maliciously in her direction, he's out the door and owes her ten thousand dollars." Paul explained, winking at Seth when the younger man nodded. "She's like a daughter to me, Mr. Rollins. There's no security measure I won't take for her if it is deemed necessary."

Meanwhile, Dean held onto his girlfriend's hand tightly as they walked through the halls of the arena. In his free hand he held a bottle of water, wetting his hair as they walked. She didn't really know what to say, since she knew that she had no tips for her boyfriend who had been wrestling much longer than she had been. She just needed to stand by and support him during this most important time in match prep.

"Awfully quiet, baby."

"I don't know what to say other than that I wish I could be ringside." She spoke softly as they stopped walking, unable to stop the smile from stretching across her features.

"You could wish me luck." He suggested with a smirk, tossing the water bottle into a nearby garbage can so that he had a hand free to cup her cheek. "Not that I need it or anything, but it would be nice."

"I wish you the best of luck in you endeavors to capture the Intercontinental Championship."

"That's more like it." He said just before claiming her mouth in a sweet, yet still dominating, kiss. "Would thou like to receive my semen tonight after supper to celebrate my victory?"

"God, you're awful." She laughed, looking back on the conversation they had back when she was pregnant. "But, being serious, whether you win or lose tonight I'm still proud of you because I know that you'll put on the best match of the night and steal the show."

"I appreciate that, darlin'. Now get back to the locker room, alright?"

"I love you." She whispered before pulling him down into a breath stealing kiss that caught the eyes of many of their coworkers. Dean and CJ weren't big on PDA at work, so this was huge. There was no way anybody who noticed could avoid staring at them. "No matter what."

"I love you, too, 'Stina." He responded breathlessly, pecking her lips with a smile. "No matter what."

"Ambrose did it! Dean Ambrose has won the Intercontinental Championship!" Michael Cole shouted and CJ was quick to jump out of her seat in Seth's lap while cheering for him, proud being an understatement of what she was feeling for her boyfriend. Paul was clapping proudly for another title being pulled into their family, while Brock just nodded his approval of Dean's win. It was a good night for the Heyman Family so far.

Until bitter members of The Authority ran in and started beating down on the new champion. This had CJ and Seth running to gorilla, but Seth stopped her before they hit the curtain. A whispered request had her staying back and watching from the curtain as Seth ran down the ramp. She was basically distraught, rushing from the curtain down to Roman's locker room and banging on the door.

"Where's the fire, babygirl?"

"You have to go help Dean and Seth! It's five-on-two, Roman!"

She didn't have to say any more, the Samoan breaking out into a sprint down the hall to get out to the ring. They didn't really have anyone else in their corner, due to being members of the Heyman Family, and she knew that Paul and Brock would be bothered that she ran to Roman but she was out of options and would deal with them when the time came. Right now was about making sure that Dean was alright and, from the looks of things when she finally made it back to the curtain, he was in a better position fighting off The Authority with Seth and Roman.

"Amazing, isn't it?" Triple H asked, startling the Diva's Champion by putting a hand on her shoulder. "We gave him the world. Handed him the fucking planet Earth itself on a silver platter, yet he still chose to stand by your side and sign a contract to be beaten down on a weekly basis."

"What's your point?" She asked, keeping her resolve strong as she held onto her title belt.

"It's just interesting what love will do to a man."

"I still don't see what you're getting at."

"Stand down, supergirl. Go ahead and relax because I'm not going to hurt you." He spoke, keeping his calm and further bothering the Canadian. "You're our pick as champion and we'll keep you as the champion for as long as we see fit. But even then, the old man loves your feisty ass so much that he'd do anything to go against us and protect your position."

"Again, I'm lost."

"We'll be gunning after Seth, of course, because we- The Authority- are pissed at him for betraying us. But you, you're safe. You don't interest us nearly as much."

"Thanks." She deadpanned, glancing up at he man known as The Game and briefly wondering if he was trying to play her. This made him chuckle, gently squeezing her shoulder before stepping back as the guys started helping each other up the ramp.

"Tell Seth that we're not done with him just yet." Was all Hunter said before backing off, rounding the corner just before the guys made it through the curtain.

"CJ?" Seth whispered, bringing her attention away from where Triple H had retreated to and to her boys who were beaten and in need of attention. "Dean's unconscious."

"Shit. Uh, let's get him to the trainers and then we'll decide where to go from there." CJ decided, watching as the guys practically carried Dean down the hall and followed close behind, barely registering that a stagehand was handing her Dean's newly won title belt. She took it without thinking, walking faster to be right behind the guys.

"Oh, damn, get him on a table." She heard Sampson instruct the guys and she was by Dean's side instantly once he was on the table. "You know I'm going to need room to work, kid."

"Right. Uh," She mumbled, gently kissing Dean's knuckles before leaving his belt by his side. "There's his belt, and uh- take care of him. Please."

"He's in good hands." Roman assured, watching as Seth used his less injured arm to pull CJ back by her waist. "We've got other things to take care of."

The Canadian could only nod, moving so that she was helping to support Seth's weight as they left the trainers and headed down the hall. Roman gently pat their backs before heading to his own locker room, knowing that being seen with CJ and Seth wouldn't be good for their little Heyman Family. They understood, though, Seth trying desperately to not need to lean on CJ too much and found himself being relieved by Brock stepping in and supporting his weight.

"Thanks."

"You're still a shithead and I still don't like your ass that much." Brock reminded with a chuckle, opening the door to their locker room and helping him in. "How's Ambrose?"

"Unconscious and with the trainers." CJ answered instantly, looking to Paul for some sort of guidance. "They're gonna take care of him, I guess."

"And The Authority?" Paul asked, watching as CJ knelt down in front of Seth to see just how badly he was beaten.

"They don't want me. They're going to fuck Seth up, but they're 'not interested' in me." She explained, gently dabbing at Seth's lip with the washcloth Brock handed her. He winced, but held his head still so she could continue to wipe at her bloodied man.

What the fuck do I even call him? She asked herself as she continued to tend to Seth's facial injuries. He held together alright, but she knew that he was hurting and hurting a lot. It just amazed her that he was willing to go through it all to prove himself to Dean that he was trustworthy enough to be around them and their daughter.

"You're really going to go through all of this for us?"

"There's nothing I wouldn't do for you, CJ." He whispered, not caring that Paul and Brock were in the room and listening closely. "How many times do I have to tell you that?"

"A million and four." She spoke softly with a small smile on her face. "But stop talking. It has to hurt."

"It's worth it."

"Shut up."

The air was tense in the gorilla position as CJ, along with Brock, Paul, and Chris waited for their match to be announced. The three men were waiting patiently, while CJ was throwing punches at Brock's open palms in an attempt to get a message across to her sperm donor. She was there for one reason, and that was to beat his ass. Hard. There would be no remorse and there would certainly be no mercy. There was only going to be CJ wailing away on Chris, trying to do as much damage as she could to him with anything she could get her hands on. The match may have just been mixed gender, but she was making it No Disqualification in her head and Hunter was just going to have to deal with it.

"Ease up, kid." Brock requested, trying to help her get into Chris' head. "You're going to make me bruise before my match."

CJ knew exactly what Brock was doing and nodded, raising her hands as she took a step back. If she was causing some discomfort to Brock fucking Lesnar, then Chris had to be worried about what she could possibly do to him. She needed this. She needed him to worry about what he was possibly getting into. This wasn't going to be a showcase of technical wrestling ability, this was going to be a brawl.

"The following contest is a mixed gender match scheduled for one fall!" Lillian announced and Beth felt her heart speed up in anticipation for what was to come. Her mind was going a mile a minute as everything stalled in the arena and the seventeen thousand people in the arena stood to wait for the first entrance. Who was being announced first? Was CJ going to the ring alone? Was Dean doing alright? How about Seth and Roman? CJ and Paul planned this out, right? Right?

"Fucking hell." The blonde groaned as the lights went out, meaning that Chris was entering first. Sure enough, the pyro went off and those first few lines blared throughout the arena before Chris walked out and the lights came on. He was wearing that hideous jacket with pride, and she had to give him credit for not feeling like a buffoon in all those light brites. They made eye contact and she was half tempted to flip him off for causing so much pain to poor CJ, who was like a little sister to her, but knew that she shouldn't because it could be caught on camera. Is that weird, seeing Adam's daughter as a little sister? That just screams incest. I need to remember to tell him that one later.

"And his opponent, being accompanied by Paul Heyman and the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar, she is the WWE Diva's Champion CJ Jericho!"

Beth couldn't help but laugh at the way CJ, Paul, and Brock all made looks of disgust at her being announced with the same surname as her shithead father, and then marveled at how easy hopping onto the ring apron was for CJ these days. It had to be the Lesnar influence, but still. She was in the best shape of her life, and she had just given birth about six months ago. It was impressive.

CJ didn't even bother showing off her belt, Beth assumed that it was because she was going into a match that had nothing to do with her championship, she just hopped from foot to foot to keep herself warmed up while she waited for the bell to ring. Beth pulled her phone out and took a quick picture of CJ, sending it to Adam with no comment. She didn't have time to type anything because the bell had rung and Chris had charged for CJ. She quickly dodged out of the way and rolled him up, but Chris kicked out at one before slinking across the ring to stare her down as they both stood up slowly. The two circled each other, exchanging words that Beth couldn't hear before they locked up, Chris gaining leverage immediately and backing her towards the ropes. CJ surprised him by kneeing him in the back of his knee, taking the opportunity wile he was down to run to the ropes for momentum before she drop kicked Chris right in the face.

Once he hit the mat she didn't give him time to regroup, jumping onto her sperm donor and throwing her fists at him as hard as she could. Beth could hear Chris screaming for the ref to get CJ off of him but, since he wasn't near the ropes and she wasn't violating any rules, referee Mike Chioda could only stand there and watch until Chris finally got enough of his bearings to throw her off of him.

"Stay on him!" Paul instructed, taking Brock's title belt so the beast could roam freely. Beth didn't know why, but she knew and had the utmost faith in the fact that the three had a plan. Brock and Paul were going to do everything in their power to ensure that Chris didn't walk out of the arena with an ounce of dignity, and she couldn't wait to see how it all unfolded.

The match progressed, Chris firing off some heavy hits as he tried to make a comeback, and somehow he had gotten CJ into The Walls of Jericho in the center of the ring. This was something Beth had been fearing, Chris having a weight advantage of over a hundred pounds would make it difficult for her to get out of this position and Beth could see the pain in CJ's face as she kept her palms flat on the mat. She wasn't going to tap, Beth knew better than anybody that Chrissie Copeland did not tap out under any circumstances. She'd pass out before she tapped out and had done so on four different occasions, something Beth always thought that it was the toughest thing ever.

Heyman jumped onto the apron to taunt Chris and distract the referee, giving Brock the opportunity to pull CJ out of the ring and give her time to regroup while leaning against him.

'Its her knee I think.' Beth texted Adam, watching closely as CJ spoke to Brock, the duo making sure to keep their conversation out of view of the cameras while Brock practically held her up. She wished that she knew what the hell they were saying, but she trusted that Brock wouldn't have her doing anything kamikaze like. What happened next was something she should've expected, which was Chris running and diving through the ropes to tackle Brock and CJ while their backs were turned. A lot of booing was heard around the arena for that one, and CJ was holding onto her knee tightly while her face was screwed up in pain as Paul rushed to be by her side and coach her out of this one.

Seth was watching the monitors with a now conscious Dean, both men worried sick about their Canadian. She was holding her knee and both knew the look of pure agony on her face but neither could do anything about it. With The Authority gunning after Seth and willing to use Dean to lure him out, plus the fact that neither was in a condition to be fighting, they were safest in their locker room watching. Even though it killed them.

"She'll be okay, Seth."

"I know, I just don't like seeing her hurt."

"Me neither." Dean spoke softly, not knowing what else to say. He knew that he should probably bring up Seth kissing CJ the day before since CJ wasn't in the room, but didn't know how exactly to bring it up without sounding like he was upset. He wasn't upset, because he was the one who told Seth that it would be okay for him to do things like that. And he heard what Seth had said after the kiss and knew that Seth had absolutely no disrespect for their relationship. There were no red flags, but Seth tended to make red flags out of white ones real easy these days because he over thought every little thing. "Hey, can we talk about yesterday?"

"Me kissing CJ?"

"Yeah, that."

Oh boy. Seth thought to himself as he gulped, not certain on where this conversation was going. Dean was calm, which may or may not be a bad thing. He could be calm because he's okay with it, or the calm before the storm that resulted in somebody being knocked unconscious. How he hoped to god it was the first one but he had a sinking feeling that it'd be the second one. "Sure."

Dean didn't like the uncertainty in Seth's tone at all. This meant that Seth was nervous and seeing red flags that weren't there. "Dude relax, okay? I'm not mad."

"You're not?"

"I was going to ask if you wanted to come home with us this week."

"You were?"

"Yes, dunce. Fuck," Dean laughed, gently punching Seth's shoulder as he continued to watch the monitors. CJ was back in the ring, barely standing on her own but somehow still holding her own against Chris. She amazed him. "You guys are good for each other, y'know? We're like a weird three piece puzzle that no matter how many times you try to make it work, its not the same without the third piece. God, that sounded girly as fuck."

"True." Seth agreed, mentally celebrating the fact that Dean felt the connection and dependency that he felt too. His eyes moved from the blonde sitting beside him back to the monitor and watched as CJ was on the top rope. They didn't know what she was going for, but it didn't matter because she got caught in the Code Breaker in mid air and Chris scrambled into the pin.

She kicked out- just barely, in Seth's opinion- just before the ref got to three and quickly scrambled away from her frustrated father as she stood. Chris was still kneeling and arguing with the ref when she landed a superkick to his chin and backed up a bit. Seth knew what she was going for and grinned, sitting on the edge of his seat as he cheered her on. He needed to see her do this, because just the thought of her curb stomping anybody was a turn on when he was teaching her. But watching her do it may result in him making a mess in his pants but he really didn't care at this point.

"C'mon, babe. Don't hesitate."

"Curb Stomp by CJ Jericho right onto her father's head!" Michael Cole shouted into his headset and Seth, forgetting about how sore his body had already become, was on his feet cheering for CJ as she crawled into the cover.

"I think that leg of hers healed rather quickly." King commented and Dean chuckled as JBL gave his response over Michael announced that Chris had kicked out.

"She was playing possum. Its not the first time a Jericho has played possum to get what they want."

"That was perfect, Dean." Seth praised as he sat back down, gently patting Dean's chest as they watched her continue to size Chris up. The older man was wobbling to his feet as she squatted in the corner, and both Dean and Seth felt like they knew what route she was going. Adam and CJ's father-daughter relationship had long since gone public, and the crowd started chanting "spear" much like they used to do for Adam.

"Shades of her Hall of Fame daddy!" JBL gave Adam his props, having always known that CJ was Adam's kid in every form but blood. Right after JBL spoke, Chris had turned around and-

"SPEAR!" Cole shouted as CJ and Chris hit the mat, CJ on top of her sperm donor, and the ref started the count.

She was on cloud nine. She really was. To have the spear, of all the moves in her arsenal, be the one that finished the asshole responsible for her conception was the ultimate insult to injury for him, but was absolutely wonderful to her. She couldn't have written anything better than that. It would've been loads better to have had Adam watching ringside, but Beth was just as good. It was just as memorable.

She wasn't even totally there. She barely heard the crowds over her own heartbeat and barely felt Paul raising her hand in victory. She was looking at Chris as he lie in pain on the mat and she felt like she hadn't done enough. Like she hadn't caused him enough pain. Sure, she knew that he had other, younger, kids at home who were most likely watching and didn't really need to seat her completely obliterate their father. But they'd have to look on the bright side, she decided as she hopped out of the ring in search of something that would cause Chris plenty of bodily harm, at least he'd be home for longer than a couple days.

She finally found exactly what she wanted- a kendo stick. Dean really enjoyed them for some reason, and she figured that she'd need some tribute to him in this match if she got damn near everybody else so she figured what better way than venting all of her frustrations out with a kendo stick as her tribute to her boyfriend.

This one is for telling me I was worthless when I was only ten.

This one is for abandoning me after my mom died.

This one is for pretending that I didn't exist.

...for demanding a paternity test when you knew I was yours.

...for making me feel like I shouldn't be alive.

...for pretending that everything was okay.

...for telling Adam that he was making a mistake.

...for sicking the Wyatts on me.

...for personally trying to destroy my WrestleMania moment two years in a row.

...for telling me that I couldn't.

...for making me feel the need to do this to you.

...for hurting Dean.

...for hurting me.

For every thought there was another hard hit to her sperm donor, making every hit have a reason until she just lost all coherent thought and started wailing on him. She was just so upset by thinking of everything he had done to her, and while everyone knew that this was long overdue, she was making people worry and Brock eventually stepped in to pull her away while Paul was searching frantically for something at ringside. She rolled out of the ring, heading directly for Beth and hugging the Glamazon.

"I'm so proud of you, Chrissie."

"I lost it there, for a minute." She admitted, laughing into Beth's neck before they pulled apart.

"You looked good, though."

"Don't I always?" CJ asked before going to see what all of Paul's commotion was about. He was on his hands and knees scouring the announcer's area, looking for what she didn't know. It took her a moment for it all to make sense; but seeing Paul searching, both the English and Spanish announce tables looking surprised and frantic, and Brock holding only his belt helped her piece together just what he was looking for.

And, boy, was she pissed.

I didn't plan for this chapter to be so long. But, over five thousand words later, we are here at the end of the chapter. Funny how once something gets going you don't want to stop it, but at the same time you're trying so hard to find a good stopping point. But I'm a fan of how this one turned out, only fitting that one of the longest chapters of the story is the one where she beats up Chris, right? Anyways, I've already gotten the next chapter started, and it may or may not be up before WrestleMania. Depends on how busy tomorrow(technically later today since its 1am(I should be in bed right now)) and Friday go. Saturday is being spent preparing for the WrestleMaina party my boyfriend decided that he wants to throw at our place(and I still haven't figured out why) so I probably won't have the time to write.

Enough about me, though, now its about the lovelies who reviewed the last chapter! Thank you to Flash96, WalkingKissOfDeath, TotalDiva, Imagineer1392. Guest, Sarcastic Nightmare, KaliahBoo11, meredith757, 2008, Guest, and ItReignsJustice-619 for reviewing the last chapter! See, much more interesting than me, right?
