It had been a week since CJ's outburst and Seth would say that the atmosphere between them was more than just awkward. Dean wasn't talking to CJ unless it had to do with the baby or work, while CJ wasn't talking to anybody but Heyman. Even if it had to do with Olivia, she'd only nod or shake her head to give her response. Dean had started drinking a bit more, having drank himself to sleep the last four days in a row. Seth wasn't a huge fan of this and he really wanted to remove himself from this toxic environment. But he couldn't just leave, because he had to make sure nothing bad happened. Dean wasn't ever abusive in the past, but that could change, and he didn't want anything happening to CJ while he was gone. But, on the flip side, he knew that he had to stick around to take care of Dean and make sure that he went to bed and slept on his side.

Seth didn't particularly like mothering Dean, but he felt that he was responsible for CJ cold shouldering them therefore he'd do whatever he could to make this easier for Dean. Why Dean wasn't totally pissed off at him, Seth wasn't sure he'd know. Dean wasn't exactly being open and honest about his feelings and it took a lot for Seth to not comment on it. He knew that Dean didn't want to hear it, and he didn't want to hear Dean all grumpy and assholeish, so he kept quiet. He kept quiet and tried his best to not watch him drink because he was having a hard time.

He didn't know what CJ did when she was locked away in the bedroom of the bus, and he wasn't sure he wanted to know. He did know that Adam had to have known about the fight by now and was expecting the Canadian to show up at any minute to make things right. He knew that CJ would tell the whole story when she went to Adam, and he knew that she'd get an earful from her dad about her actions before they all got earfuls over how bad they were at having personal conversations. He was ready for Adam to come in and moderate, because that was what they all needed.

"What are you thinking about?" Dean asked, getting Seth's attention away from the window and surprising Seth by being sober after ten-thirty. This wasn't usual, and Seth was also impressed. But this meant that he had other things on his mind and Seth wasn't sure that he wanted to know what was going on in Dean's head.

"How badly we need Adam to step in and bitch slap all three of us."

"Damn right, we do." Dean chuckled, but it wasn't a happy chuckle like he was used to hearing from the blonde. It was so sad, and it made Seth feel so bad. Dean was missing CJ badly, and he was hurting on the inside because of it. It was obvious in the ring that something had him fucked up because he kept losing by disqualification. He was upset, and pissed off because he was so torn up about this, which made him brutal in the ring. He needed to take it out on somebody before he was back in an enclosed space with two people that he probably didn't want to be stuck in such close quarters with. "Maybe I should call?"

"I..." Seth started to agree, but trailed off when the bedroom door opened and CJ came out. The blonde was wiping at her eyes as she made a beeline for the fridge, avoiding eye contact the whole time, grabbed a couple things that she could eat without heating up and then went back to hiding in the bedroom. That was another thing that concerned Seth. While CJ was busy avoiding them, she was avoiding eating too. She'd have little things throughout the day and a small meal in catering to satisfy Heyman, but she wouldn't eat with them on the bus. Her dinner had consisted of a couple fruits every day over the past week and he was concerned for her health. This wasn't right. "She'd rather starve herself than be near us."

"Sucks right? She made a goddamn mistake and we're the fucking bad guys!" Dean intentionally spoke that second sentence loudly, knowing that CJ would be able to hear him. Seth could only sigh, knowing that this was how Dean handled things when he was hurting emotionally. He instigated and picked fights with whoever had hurt him until they eventually talked things out. It was slightly childish, but that was Dean. "I just want her to talk to me."

"Go in there and tell her what you need to tell her. She probably won't say anything but you should open that door and let her know that you're ready to talk things out." Seth suggested, small smile on his face until Dean started laughing on his way to the fridge and got out a beer. "Bad idea?"

"Terrible idea." Dean shut him down, opening the bottle and taking a long swig. "She's not going to want anything to do with me or you until some outside source tells her that we're all fucking idiots for blowing everything way out of proportion."

"Dean, you had every right to be upset with us. We violated your trust and took advantage of how generous you've been."

"I got pissed because she cheated on me with her other boyfriend that I said she could have. How fucking stupid does that sound?"

"Maybe we shouldn't do this anymore then." Seth murmured, getting up from his seat and throwing himself into his bunk. He didn't want to separate from the couple, but he wasn't feeling very welcome right now and he didn't want to impose any more than he already had. Dean looked really confused, and Seth was in so much disbelief that Dean was confused that he had to turn away and look at the wall. This wasn't how anything was supposed to go.

CJ had finished crying and, unfortunately for her, she wasn't even tired yet. Usually she was asleep by the time the tears stopped but now she was wide awake with nothing to focus on but her thoughts, which was never a good thing. She was punishing herself for her actions more than she thought Dean ever could, and she didn't know what to do other than run. She needed to run and hide from the guys, she needed to get away from her life. But she knew that she couldn't because she couldn't take Olivia away from Dean for any period of time and she couldn't just leave her daughter with Dean and Seth. That wasn't good parenting and she wasn't going to do that so soon in Olivia's life. But she was going to do the only thing she could do: call Adam. He'd know what to do.

It took about three tries and plenty of praying while she did, but he finally picked up and she felt really bad when he sounded tired.

"Chrissie what's up?"

"I fucked up, Dad. I just- I need to get out of here." She whispered, covering her eyes as she laid down in bed. She instinctively curled up into the fetal position, trying to comfort herself as Adam sighed and was most likely trying to figure out what happened. She felt a fresh round of tears coming on and didn't want to cry anymore, but she knew that it was likely to happen.

"Explain everything to me, Chrissie. Don't hold back."

And so CJ started the story from last Monday afternoon, holding nothing back as Adam had requested. He got all the information she could give him, even her feelings while being intimate with Seth. She expressed to Adam repeatedly that she was aware of how wrong she was in all of this, but she just missed Seth and couldn't bear to lose him because Dean was pushing him away. In her opinion, what she did was wrong but totally necessary. He also was informed of their "open and honest" conversation and her reaction to that and the fact that she'd spent the last week shutting out everybody but the baby while Dean wasn't talking t her unless it had to do with Olivia.

"When you do something, you do it over the top." Adam sighed, and she knew that he was running a hand through his hair. "Do you want me to come in, or do you want me to help you get away for a few days?"

"Whatever you think the better option is. I, personally, want to leave but I can't just leave."

"Why can't you?"

"Olive." Was her instant response, uncovering her eyes to look at the crib where her daughter was sleeping. "I can't just take her away from Dean without talking to him about it first and I can't just leave her. Both of those are things that Dean is terrified of happening."

"So talk to him."

"As much as I would love to, he'd have to talk to me and, right now, he's pretty pissed." She denied the suggestion, burying her face in the pillow. "Things are so simple when I don't try to take initiative."

"But letting them lead kills you on the inside."

"But what choice do I have, Adam? They're not going to let me step up so I might as well just sit back and slowly but surely deteriorate on the inside."

"That's not healthy Chrissie, and I'm tired of having to remind you of this fact."

"I'm sorry, okay? I just...I'm not in a good spot and I don't know how to even start fixing it."

"I don't know how to fix this either. You're going to need to step back from the situation to figure out how to , so I'll call Dean since you don't want to talk to him and I'll let him know that I want to pull you away from the road and give him the choice of you taking the baby or leaving the baby with him. Just for a few days."

"Can you please? I don't even know how to talk to him right now."

"I got you, kiddo. Love you."

"Love you, too." He then hung up and she sighed, setting her phone down on the nightstand and letting out a loud sigh as she wiped away her tears. There were a couple soft knocks on the door and she sighed one again, rolling out of bed and heading to the door. She debated against actually opening it and instead leaned against it, gently knocking against it to let Seth or Dean know that she was listening.

"Hey, babe?" It was Seth. Go figure. Dean was either on the phone already or still wanting nothing to do with her, and she didn't blame him if that was the latter. "I know you're mad about what I said, and you have a right to be mad. There's probably a better way to say what I had said and I'm sorry. I noticed that you haven't really been eating, so I made you some actual food. I'll just leave it here by the door and you can grab it whenever, so...yeah. I love you, Christina."

How nice. She thought to herself, sliding down the door until she was on her ass. She had been shutting him out for a week, and he was still paying close attention to her and what she was doing. She couldn't say as much for Dean, but she was certain that he was also paying close attention to her and what she was doing. He was just as stubborn as she was and would probably be a hard nut to crack. But that was why she had Adam.

She stood and went to grab her phone, heading back to the door and listening for Seth to walk away before cracking the door open and pulling the plate inside. Macaroni and cheese, her guilty pleasure and all time favorite thing to eat ever.

'Thanks, Sethie. I appreciate it.'

Seth read the text with a smile before looking to Dean as he paced while on the phone. He knew that Dean was on the phone with Adam, and the conversation seemed to have punched him in the gut because Dean looked pained. Seth wondered if Dean was getting blamed for all of this and dearly hoped that he wasn't because Dean didn't deserve that. Dean actually did nothing wrong this time around.

"Yeah, I get it." Dean finally muttered, making Seth's eyes widen. "I only want what'll be best for her and if this will help her figure things out then so be it."

Is she leaving? Seth wondered, glancing back at the bedroom door before looking to Dean again. She couldn't leave them, they still had to-

"It fucking sucks, Adam. But if its what she wants and will make her stop hiding from me, I have to let it happen." Dean sighed, running a hand through his hair and gently scratching at it. "Why can't she just talk to me? That's what our issue is and she's fucking running."

He better hope that she's not listening to him. Seth thought, shaking his head as Dean continued to rant to Adam. He thought it was cute that Dean confided in Adam almost as much as CJ did, and he knew that the trust Dean had in Adam was going to be part of why Dean and CJ would most likely be together for the rest of their lives. Dean was a member of the Copeland family now, and Seth was proud and envied him for it at the same time.

"...I get that, but maybe, just maybe we could actually talk shit out for once?...She'll hit me before I can even get a word in... I'd rather not take that risk."

Seth figured that this conversation would go on much longer than originally anticipated, so he decided to go to bed. He could talk to Dean about what was happening in the morning. He was tired, and he was done trying to figure everything out. Dean and CJ needed to work on Dean and CJ, and they could only work on the three-way part of the relationship once Dean and CJ had gotten passed their latest roadblock. All he could really do right now is sit and wait, and pray that them figuring everything out didn't involve kicking him to the curb.

After the SmackDown taping, CJ looked at Dean and Seth as they coddled Olivia and whispered their goodbyes to the sleeping infant. She didn't like that she was leaving, but she knew that it was what had to be done to ensure that she could clear her head. They weren't going to get over this while they were all sitting on top of each other, so this was completely necessary for the betterment of their relationship. She'd have time to sort out her thoughts and feelings and Dean would be free to think out loud without worrying about upsetting her.

"Daddy's gonna miss you some much, sweetheart." Dean whispered, kissing Olivia's forehead one last time before getting her settled in her carrier and buckling her into it. As always, he made sure that everything was secure before lifting the carrier and handing it to CJ before grabbing her suitcase and leading the way out of the locker room to where the car was waiting to take her and Paul to the airport. His free hand sought out hers, and she looked up at him briefly before cracking the smallest of smiles at him. She quickly looked away from him, her eyes staying forward from that point on until the bags were loaded and Olivia's carrier was secured into the backseat of the car. Seth was already on the bus and Paul had gotten into the car, leaving Dean alone with CJ for a moment. "This is what you want?"

"I need space to get over myself, Dean. I need to figure things out, and I can't figure that out if every time I look at you I feel like a guilty slut."

"Don't ever call yourself a slut, Christina." Dean spoke calmly, his tone telling her just how pleased he was by her choice of words. She nodded, flinching when he rose his hand but quickly relaxing as he pushed some hair away from her face. "I love you, and that goes without saying, you know that right?"

"I know, and I love you too, Dean." She whispered, looking up at him and making eye contact with him as his hand came to rest on her side. "I'm just so..."

"I know, but we're going to be fine alright? You're going to come back and we'll talk this out. Just know that I'm not going to leave you just because you made a small mistake like that thing with Seth. Just take as much time away as you need, Seth and I will be here."

"And I appreciate it." She murmured, smiling when Dean pulled her into a tight hug. She loved these bone crushing hugs because she could feel his heart beat against her ear and the way he stroked her hair provided her with the same comfort that a child would get from their favorite teddy bear. It was like the comfort she got from her favorite teddy bear as a kid, and she was grateful. "I'm gonna miss you."

"I'll miss you, too." He whispered into her hair, pressing a gentle kiss to the top of her head before pulling away from her so she could get in the car. She had a flight to catch and he needed to get some sleep since he and Seth were on the children's hospital tour list for the next day. But, even though he needed a night full of rest, he couldn't help but stand still as the car drove off. He stood there, hands in his pockets and watching with a straight face as the love of his life left him for an indefinite amount of time.
