Adam watched with a small frown as CJ fed Olivia. She'd only been there overnight had had yet to say anything about her relationship. He wasn't expecting her to say anything, but it would be nice to hear her say something. She cried when he picked her up from the airport, and was curled up in the front seat as she continued to cry in the car. He didn't like seeing his daughter so heartbroken, but he didn't know how to help her because she brought this upon herself. All she had to do was talk to the guys, but instead she did what she felt was the best option and basically cheated on Dean.

"How can I help you, kiddo?"

"I don't even know, Dad." Was all she whispered, not even looking back at him as she spoke. He knew that she was hurting and that she definitely was missing Dean already, maybe even Seth too, and he couldn't fix for him. His pride as a father had taken a huge blow in not being able to help her right off the bat, and he was eager to make up for that loss. He needed to get her somewhere where she could actually think. She wasn't going to get a clear head with Olivia, Beth, and Lyric all staring at her.

"Maybe you should go on a drive?" He suggested, mentally cheering when she looked back at him in surprise. "Beth and I can handle Olive for a few hours for you. We've done it before and we'll do it again."

"Adam, I couldn't ask you to-"

"Christina Jeanette, you didn't ask, I offered. There's a difference." He stated, gently placing a hand on her shoulder and offering a gentle smile. She could only nod, her eyes watering enough for Adam to notice and wipe at her eyes as the tears started to fall. "No more tears, Chrissie."

"I can't help it, for some reason I'm just an emotional wreck and I hate myself for it."

"No need to hate yourself. You remember when I was told that I needed to retire?" He asked, waiting until she nodded to continue. "I cried for hours, most of those hours were spent crying with you while you just sat there. Not that you just sitting there is a bad thing, but my point is that its okay to cry, kiddo. Everybody cries."

"I just... I fucked everything up, Dad. I fucked up and I ran from my issues instead of just talking to them about it. Dean deserves a fucking award for being able to deal with me."

"He loves you, Chrissie, and that's why he's still sticking with you even when you're running away from him." Adam reasoned, smiling down at her as he continued to wipe her tears away. "Just relax alright. Relax and focus on yourself for a few hours."

"Once Olive goes to sleep, I'll head out and try to figure out what's going on with me."

"Alright. Make sure you take your phone and-"

"Call if anybody gives me shit or I end up stuck in some shit."

"Atta girl. I'll leave you to your little one, call if you need anything." He stated, turning and heading for the den so CJ could have a bit of solitude without him staring at her. She knew that Adam had left her, and she smiled at Olivia as the infant continued to eat. It just amazed her how quickly Olivia had grown in the few months that she had been alive, and with her first birthday fast approaching she and Dean needed to start thinking about what they wanted to do for her. It was a big deal, but she didn't want a festival in her daughter's honor over it.

"Maybe just a bigger small party. Family and Nattie with the Bellas too. Maybe Roman can bring Michelle. You'd like seeing your Uncle Roman, huh?" CJ suggested to the infant, knowing that she wouldn't get much of an answer but she liked the way Olivia looked at her when she was being spoken to. It was like she knew that she was being spoken to and loved it, but CJ knew that she just loved getting attention from anybody. "Yeah, I'm sure Uncle Roman misses you, sweet girl. Its a shame that he wants nothing to do with Paul and Brock because he would've fit perfectly with the family, but oh well. His loss."

The infant let out a little squawk, which was CJ's absolute favorite sound for her to make. She just knew that her daughter would have the sweetest little voice when she got older and actually started speaking, and she couldn't wait for that time to come. She just wasn't sure about the future of her relationship with Olivia's fathers when that time came. Would it be her, Dean, and Seth? Or would it just be her and Dean? She hoped for the trio, but she wouldn't blame Dean nor would she blame Seth for wanting Seth out of the relationship picture. Poor Seth was stuck in the middle and she hated that he was in that position. She hated that she had used him like that, and she was just... she didn't know how to explain it. She had to figure out her feelings if she was ever going to be able to talk feelings with the guys.

"Remind me to make sure you grow up confident in your feelings, sweetheart." CJ requested, lifting Olivia out of the high chair and carrying her with the dishes used to feed her over to the sink so she could rinse them out and put them in the dishwasher. She then cleaned off the high chair top one handed, Olivia just resting her head on her mother's chest and listening to her hum a tune that was only familiar because it was her father's favorite lullaby to sing to her when she was restless. If "Smells Like Teen Spirit" by Nirvana could be considered a lullaby, that is.

An hour later had CJ watching Olivia sleep in the spare crib Adam set up in her usual guest bedroom. The infant didn't seem too affected by not seeing her fathers, but knew that they hadn't been gone long and that her attitude could quickly change. She didn't want to be away from Dean and Seth too long, knowing that there was plenty to be discussed and worked out between them and knowing that getting it all sorted as soon as possible was best. But she had to get herself sorted before she could even begin to deal with the guys.

It was hard, but eventually she pulled herself away from Olivia and let Adam know that she was headed out and would be in contact. He let her take his jeep and she was grateful, promising to fill up the tank on her way home despite him repeatedly assuring her that there was no need. But, to her, there was a huge need because he had already done so much for her. He let her come stay with him, let her cry to him, allowed her to mope a bit, and was taking care of her baby so she could have time t herself to clear her head. Sure he was her dad, but he didn't have to do all of this for her. She was almost thirty.

It didn't take long for CJ to find her favorite thinking spot, and old abandoned warehouse parking lot, and lean against the side of the jeep. Her eyes shut the instant she sat down on the ground and she had to take a few deep breaths to keep herself from crying. She was so torn up over how good she was at fucking up her personal relationships with people and just wanted to scream but knew that she couldn't. She couldn't force any more trouble on herself right now, simply because it wasn't what she needed right now. She was in enough trouble as it was.

She had done everything wrong so far, there was no denying that. The question now was what she was going to do to fix this. It was all on her to fix everything this time. There was no "meeting in the middle" or any compromises to be had. She simply fucked up and had to make things right by Dean. Dean didn't have to do anything, and neither did Seth. Poor Seth was stuck in the middle of everything and it was all because she used him for her own personal gain.

It was clear to her that the "open and honest about feelings" discussion was something that had to be started with her being open and honest to Seth about why she used him. It was also really clear to her that she didn't have long to get her shit together, because she had to be at Payback to support Dean and Seth in their matches. She couldn't not be there for them just because she didn't have a match. That wasn't fair to them and she knew that they couldn't go five more days without seeing Olivia. That wasn't fair to them nor was it right by any stretch of the imagination. If things went her way, she and Olivia would be on a flight out the following morning to head back home to the guys. She just needed to think things through.

Seth was laying on the couch, watching with a concerned frown as Dean stared at his phone. He had been called twice, but he didn't answer either time and it had Seth wondering just who was calling. Was it his mom, The Authority, or was it CJ calling to check in. But if it was CJ, why would Dean just stare at the phone and not answer? All the blonde wanted was to talk to his girlfriend and work things out, so why not talk to her when she called? It didn't make sense.

"Who called?"

"Who do you think?" Dean asked bitterly as he tossed his phone over to Seth, watching the younger man's eyes widen when he saw that CJ was who Dean was ignoring. But Seth still didn't understand why he was so bitter about it.

"Why didn't you answer?"

"Because I don't want to talk to her until she's sitting down across from me and hanging up isn't an option for when the conversation turns down a road she doesn't like." The blonde explained, taking his phone back before heading towards the back bedroom. The door slammed shut and Seth sighed, knowing that Dean was most likely going to be difficult to deal with until CJ was back within an arms reach of him. But the younger man did what he knew was the right thing to do, fishing his phone out of his sweatshirt pocket and quickly calling CJ so he could talk to her.

"Hi, Seth."

"Hey, I-uh, was just calling to check on you and say goodnight." He chose his words carefully, not wanting to let her know that he knew that Dean was purposefully ignoring her calls. He also didn't want her knowing that Dean was ignoring her calls because the last thing he wanted was to be further shoved in the middle of this. "How've you been?"

"Time away has done me good, but I'm ready to come home." She whispered and Seth smiled into the phone, grateful to hear that she didn't need to be away from them any longer. "But I want to apologize to you for everything that's happened and for pulling you into the middle of this. You don't deserve that, and you certainly didn't deserve me taking advantage of you like that."

"I've forgiven you for all of this, CJ." Seth assured, not fully understanding what she meant by taking advantage of him and not really wanting to understand. He just wanted her back. "I just need us all to sit down and talk this out. No more running."

"I can promise you that I won't be running anymore. Adam was kind enough to inform me that I'm too old for this shit and can't run from you guys now that we all have a daughter."

"That's good to hear, babe. How is she, anyways?"

"She's doing surprisingly well. But she misses you guys, I can tell." CJ murmured and Seth nodded his understanding. He missed Olivia terribly, but understood why Dean had CJ take her away to Syracuse. She was better of when she had people who could take care of her on a whim, and he and Dean couldn't take care of her during shows because they had to be ready for anything. They couldn't be ready for anything in that ring if one of them was stuck in the locker room caring for Olivia. It just wasn't possible. "Seth?"

"Hm?"

"I was asking about Dean. I called twice but he didn't pick up."

"He's been asleep. You leaving was hard on him and he just likes to get his sleep." Seth covered for Dean, hating how hurt CJ sounded when she spoke of Dean. "Everything is going to be okay, you know that right?"

"I do." Seth could hear the confidence in her tone. She was speaking quietly, presumably not to wake Olivia, but he could hear it. "Its a weird thing that the three of us have going, but the love is there."

"The love is there. Dean and I love you and Olivia more than anything, and everything is going to work out in the end. We just have to trust each other and work on our communications kills, but everything is going to be fine." He assured, wishing that she was here with him as he said these things to her. Everything would've been so much easier to get through to her because they'd probably be laying on the couch together and he could pet her head as he spoke with her, trying to keep everything as calm as he could. The scene sounded heavenly but the conversation topic was something he would love to change.

"You're spacing out again, Sethie."

"I know, babes, but I'm tired."

"I figured. Olive and I are on the first flight out to Vegas. Seven in the morning."

"Dean and I are on a red eye to Vegas. We'll be at the airport in about ten minutes."

"I'll let you go wake up Dean and I'll be seeing you...later today I guess seeing as its about three am here." She gave a little laugh and Seth couldn't help but chuckle, more than happy to know that it was only a matter of hours before she was back at home with them. "Love you, Sethie."

"Love you, too, Christina."

This is a shorter chapter, I know, but the next one is going to be so full of stuff that this one needed to be shorter in my opinion. I meant for this to be posted last night instead of the first chapter of my Sami Zayn thing, but I was so tired Sunday night that I slept for fourteen hours into Monday and then just laid in bed all day because my weekend had been so hectic that I just had rest. I needed to post something yesterday because I had promised on twitter, and yeah.

Anyways, I'd like to thank CarolReigns, meredith757, theShield757, Carolyn, AJPunk757 moeshellz757, Imagineer1392, Pinayprincesa, fenner82, Lola, calwitch, ChelleLew, and ItReignsJustice-619 for reviewing the last chapter. We're so close to a thousand, guys and gals, and that's absolutely incredible. I never expected this much feedback and all you readers, reviewers, favorites, and followers are what keep this story alive so, from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much.
