Levi was thoroughly freaked out, he was supposed to be in bed, he was supposed to be under his warm covers with his warm pillow and pajamas. Yet here he stood in his naruto pajama pants and blue and pink flamingo top standing in a forest with his crocks on.
He was standing in a pile of leaves and he was shivering, shivering like it was the middle of winter. It was cold as hell and he could see frost on the ground which was odd considering it was the middle of summer and a drought back home but this was obviously not home.
Levi shivered and crossed his arms to attempt to keep a little warmer as he glanced around. All he could see was trees, more trees and what would you know! More trees!
"Dame, If I knew I'd wake up in a forest I would have dressed heavier." the boy mumbled angrily.
With a sigh he began to walk, yes he knew when it comes to being lost you should stay where you are and wait for help but he had a feeling there wasn't anyone around for a good long distance. And well waking up in a forest wasn't your usual lost experience.
He also wasn't one to stay still in a stressful situation, he had to be moving to calm himself or he'd go stir crazy. Or he'd have a panic attack or that such, which might still happen as his anxiety was skyrocketing already as he tried to think of what the hell was going on.
It was easy enough to see that this wasn't his home and It wasn't a dream. And he didn't think this was his world either or maybe his universe as everything had an animated look to like he was in a show or a movie. When he glanced at himself he sure as hell knew that he was not this small. Almost like he deaged a few years or something but he couldn't be sure.
He sighed as he thought about it all, he had a few ideas, the most likely was something he was very familiar with with all the fanfics he liked to read. He suspected that this was like a self insert of sorts because that made the most sense to his wild mind. But he wouldn't be sure till something confirmed the theory of his.
So on his long term to-do list was to figure out what world/universe he was in, then the time period, and where exactly where he was but first he had to focus on more concerning priority which was survival.
"Ok so flowing water is my top priority, then shelter, and finally food." he said to himself as he walked. Flowing water was very important, it would be cleaner and far less disease ridden as stagnant water.
As he walked Levie collected the driest sticks he could hold, he'd have to start a fire as well soon for he had no desire to freeze to death overnight. He also listened closely for the sound of flowing water. He probably walked for a good 2 or three hours playing eye spy with himself before he finally heard the sound of water.
Picking up his pace he hugged the wood to his chest so as to not drop it and he finally came to a stream. It was small and shallow but it was clean and clear, he could see few impurities in the water. He put the wood down and carefully got to his knees, dipping his hands in the water carefully. He cupped his hands and he brought the frigid water to his mouth.
The water was refreshing but cold and once he had his fill he shoved his numb hands in his armpits to try and warm them. "Ok that might have been a mistake" he said to himself as he blew warm air onto his hands.
Levi then jumped as he heard a loud snort and some rustling, he watched frozen as a creature emerged from the undergrowth on the other side of the stream snorting and puffing.
There a large boar was facing him, its eyes locked on him as it slowly walked towards him and he began to slowly back away, never taking his eyes off the animal. Then with a burst of speed the boar was rocketing towards him and he turned tail and ran as fast as he could.
He could feel its hoofs beat on the ground and he could hear it snort with each breath it took. He ran as fast as he could and he tried to take some corners to gain some distance from the animal and it seemed to work a little because the snorts of the animal were less prominent.
Levi glanced behind him and he could still see the charging animal and he then looked to see if he could find an escape from the wild animal that was giving chase. He noticed that he was running near a cliff and he veered towards it. Hopefully it would have a cave of some sorts or an area he could climb.
When the cliff was in view he sighed in relief, there was a cave maybe five feet off the ground. A perfect getaway area. He put on a last bit of speed with what little energy he had left and when he came to the cave he put his arms on the small ledge and he hauled himself up.
When he was up he could hear the angry squeals from the boar as it rammed and headbutted the rock in anger of his escape and Levi let out a chuckle as he lied down and took a breath. He had to admit that that was probably the longest run he had in a good while and definitely the fastest.
When he finally caught his breath he glanced at the still angry boar as it rooted the ground in anger. Levi glanced around and saw a decent sized stone near him and he picked it up before throwing it at the pig as hard as he could. The animal gave a squeal of anger as the rock bounced off its ass.
The pig swiftly looked at him with angry snorts and gruffs as it paced while staring at him. Its eyes never left his as it paced back and forth, occasionally tearing at the ground with its vicios tusks.
Levi couldn't help but throw a few more taunts at the darned thing as it wallowed in its anger of not being able to reach him. "Ohh just wait till its you running from me Mr.Peppa, ooh i'll make you into a hat and your bacon will be amazing." he sneered at the boar and its eyes narrowed on him.
His insults seemed to infuriate the boar as it seemed to get an idea, the pid turned tail and for a moment he thought the animal was done with him but his eyes widened as it turned and charged towards his safe place. Levi's eyes widened in terror as the animal launched its big boddy into the air.
Seeing the animal flying towards him, Levi didn't even think as he kicked at the animal whose front hooves connected to the rock. The animal screamed as his foot connected with its head and it toppled over back onto the ground.
"Ha! Not so smart now bitch!" Levi crowed as he sneered at the angry thing. The boar was staring at him once again but suddenly it turned tail with a shrill squeal.
"Odd, I didn't think that would sca.." Levi didn't finish as he felt a hot breath wash over him from behind causing him to slowly turn around and look up. He let out an Eep as he took in the creature before him.
Looking down at him was a very familiar creature, dark purple scales glimmered in the light. The creature had a snake-like neck and a large head, its wings were tipped with claws and it stood with its wings spread threateningly.
Levi sweatdropped as he took a step back from the dragon, his hand raised defensively. "Nice dragon." he said meekly. He jumped though as it let out an angry roar and Levi turned tail for the second time that day and he jumped from the cave, landing on the ground with a stumble before he was running the nightmare on his tail roaring angrily.
Levi glanced behind him and let loose a shrill scream as a jet of flame shot towards him and he ducked just in time as the fire flew over his head singing some hair and causing some smoke to come from his head as the smell of burnt hair filled the air.
"What did I do to you!" he cried out as he ran, dogging trees and jets of fire as he did so.
Levi continued to run but he was beginning to slag as he was running out of breath which meant the dragon was catching up. He glanced behind him and sure enough it was getting closer.
When Levi glanced back in front of him he yelped as his foot caught on something and he feel to the ground with a thump, causing him to cry out in surprise. He scrambled to sit up and he turned towards the dragon who was about to pounce on him. He closed his eyes ready to feel teeth rip into him but it never happened.
Instead he heard what sounded like thunder followed by a roar and the ground shook causing Levi to open his eyes. His eyes widened as he was a dragon with its back facing him, this new dragon had placed itself between him and the Monstrous Nightmare with its wings splayed defensively and its tail lashing in agitation.
Levi couldn't help but feel dread as he realized that these dragons were probably fighting over their next meal. Him being that next meal.
He was pulled from his thoughts as the Nightmare shot a breath of fire at the new dragon causing the dragon to jump to the side and the fire blazed the ground where the dragon had stood. Then the smaller dragon lunged at the Nightmare and once again thunder rang through the air and Levi realized that it wasn't thunder but the smaller dragons roar.
The smaller dragon then snapped at the larger as they collided, the air rebervirated with each snapp of the dragon's jaws as they fought for dominance. At first the larger seemed to be winning as it pinned the smaller on its back.
It looked as if the battle was about to be over with the nightmare as the victor but then the air crackled with electricity and then a ball of electricity flew from the small dragons maw, colliding with the nightmare. The dragon screamed and cunvolsed before the nightmare staggered back and sparks flew from the now shaking dragons scales.
The smaller was now on its feet and it roared once again causing the Nightmare to spread its wings and take off into the sky with a shrill cry as it retreated into the clouds, leaving Levi and the victorious dragon in the forest.
The smaller blueish purple dragon then turned towards him and he blinked, he had seen the dragon somewhere but he couldn't place it. The dragon was a lot like the Night fury in size and body but it had the mane of a Wooly Howl. Unlike both species though this dragon had two sets of spines on its back and its tail fins were much smaller.
The dragon's icy blue eyes settled on him and it began to walk towards him. Once again Levi closed his eyes waiting for the dragon to punce and end him.
