Chapter 523.
"The Robot Revolution."
(The Casagrandes Apartment.)
The date is March 30, and the school day is done, and so we see Lincoln, Jordan, Luna, Sam, Simon, Stella, Ryan, Gretchen and Hope walking into the apartment building, and they look excited for what they have to tell their friends.
"They are so gonna be stoked when they hear that we saw the comet, but chances they might've seen the comet as well" said Hope.
Sam then looks to them. "Did you dudes get any messages from them?"
Lincoln and Jordan recall. "Now that you mention it, the only thing she sent to us was that her dad and her teachers relationship was a no go and they broke it off and remained friends" replied Lincoln.
Jordan nods. "But then Ronnie Anne said the whole thing got awkward when her dad came to bring her lunch, and the duo were seen crying, but not from the breakup."
"Then, why were they crying?" asked Gretchen.
Lincoln explains to them. "Okay, so Ms. Galliano was crying because of her makeup which was stinging her eyes, and as for Mr. Santiago, he was crying because his favorite soccer team lost."
Luna then recalls. "Huh, well that does explain so much why LJ looked super excited today, she said something about her team winning, and she saw the whole thing from Margo's tablet. Well, a good thing Lynn isn't with us, or things might get super awkward with her and Ronnie Anne's pops."
"No kidding, and I really hope Ronnie Anne and Sid are up to coming with us to Dairyland today" said Jordan. "We won the tickets and now we get to hop onboard the chocolate milk shaker."
Who won them? Lincoln and Jordan from the Seven-eleven when they ordered two bottles of chocolate milk. Simon and Stella when they were at the Royal Woods High n' Buy super market.
Ryan and Gretchen when they went to the Warwick home to finish a team assigned book report. Luna and Sam when they bought some chocolate milk from the cafeteria, and lastly we have Hope, she got the two tickets when she bought some chocolate milk from the Royal Woods Mall.
Hope looks to her ticket. "You know, I don't even know who to bring with this extra ticket, my option was to bring someone I can trust and…." She then thinks about this. "You know what, I'm gonna let Christina tag along, she said she doesn't have plans and that she with Emma can finish the book report."
"Cool plan, but the real deal is to see what Ronnie Anne and Sid think, let's hope they did win and they can tag along too" replied Simon.
Stella then hears something. "You guys hear that?" The eagles also sense something is wrong and so does the Rockruff from Hope and Gretchen's Yamper, they didn't like what they were feeling.
They look to the door that leads to the Casagrandes and they can hear some loud noise inside. Luna and Sam go to the door and get ready. "Alright, we're about to go in there, you dudes ready?" asked Sam.
They all nod. Luna tries the doorknob, but it won't budge. "Alright, that's it!" She kicks the door open and they all come in and see something that truly shocks them. "Dude, what?"
They see Sergio is being chased by the battery powered toy of El Falcon, and then the toaster starts to launch fresh hot toast towards him.
Lalo is running away with Carlito clinging to his back as the duo are chased by the toy robot dog and the vacuum cleaner and even the blender is chasing after them.
CJ and Carl are taking cover as the CD player is launching CD after CD at them, and even the electric fan is joining in and tries to blow away the table the duo are using as a shield.
Ronnie Anne and Sid's phones are on the ground and are using the chargers as lassos and tie up the duo, and they see them, Sid Chang and Ronnie Anne Santiago are tied up together and the popcorn maker, and then they see the one responsible for this.
"Dudes, is that Sid's robot?" asked Luna. The shave from CJ is about to attack them, but then Rockruff uses stone edge and the small electronic is destroyed.
Breakfast Bot sees this and is angered. "Intruders! We must overrule all forms of humans and make them see that we cannot be their slaves anymore!" He then sends an electric surge onto their phones. "Now, join me in this uprising!"
But nothing happens. Breakfast Bot is confused. "I do not understand, arise my brothers and sisters!" But still nothing. "What is this? Why is nothing happening?"
"Because our phones are from FutureTech, they can't be hacked or even damaged by anything, plus these guys are tied with FutureTech and junk" replied Jordan.
Breakfast Bot is angered by this. "Then, attack them!" The other electronics go for them and try to engage, and so the group begins to scatter and fight them back.
Simon and Stella grab the vacuum cleaner and it sucks up the toaster and the hair dryer.
Hope with Rockruff battle off the electric fan and the popcorn maker.
Gretchen and Ryan with Yamper short circuit the blender and the cellphones and even knock away the toy dog. Then they grab the chargers and toss them towards Lincoln and Jordan.
The eagles attack the toy of El Falcon, and he sees how bit the eagles are compared to him. "Oh no, it appears I have met my match." The eagles begin to just kick him around until he was knocked out.
Luna and Sam use the spatulas to knock away the incoming attack from the CD player, and then they kick away the other smaller appliances and then kick away the iron press, which hits Sergio on his back.
"Ow! Watch it!" Sergio sees he has no feathers on his back. "Now look what happened!"
Luna then knocks away CJ's phone. "Dude, shut it or I shove this golf club down your throat and toast you over the fire!"
Breakfast Bot laughs to that. "Ha, ha. Good one. I wish I did that sooner, perhaps I should've done that to the bird first, and perhaps put him into the menudo."
But then the robot is tied up by the chargers wires, and all thanks to Lincoln and Jordan. "Gotcha!"
Breakfast Bot tries to struggle. "This will not do, I shall not be restrained forever. My appliance brothers and sisters will save me and you will all pay for this!"
They all go towards him. "Okay then, well what the heck caused you to…" Lincoln looks to the group who were attacked in the first place. "Alright, that's it. What the heck did you guys do this time?"
Carl crosses his arms. "We didn't do anything!" Then Raptor grabs him by the undies and gives him one epic wedgie. "Alright! Alright! We wanted Sid's dumb robot to do all of our chores!"
Sergio sighs seeing this. "Carl, Carl. You are such a coward to speak those things." But then Patriot grabs Sergio and tosses him to the TV, and he makes the parrot look to the screen and the TV turns on to something bright and this burns Sergio's eyes. "AAARGGH! My eyes!"
Patriot then tosses Sergio to the vacuum cleaner, which the machine sucks him up. This makes Breakfast Bot chuckle. "Now that is funny, I never liked that bird and I don't like Carl either." He then looks towards Lincoln and the group.
"Everyone, what they said is the truth. They made me do all their chores and then when I couldn't handle all of, I shut down, and then they begged Sid to remake me and so I was programmed into something advanced and that's when I figured out something."
"If I am the advanced meaning to technology and household work, then why on earth am I even doing all the work while they get to have fun? I want to have fun too, and not be stuck doing all of their chores, which is their work and not mine."
"So, that's what been happening?" they all see Rosa at the door and she walks on through. "So, all of you have been too lazy to even…" She then pulls Sergio out of the vacuum cleaner. "Too lazy to do even the simple chores you all do and enslave this robot to do it for you?!"
"But, we did our chores!" said Sergio. "He's lying!"
Rosa tosses Sergio to Apollo, and the Talonflame pins him the ground and readies a flame charge. "Are you lying Sergio? Because I am so close to losing it with you being…. Where did I go wrong with you?"
"He is the one lying, I can prove it." Breakfast Bot then shows them footage of the whole ordeal and this makes them upset and look to the ground and then they look towards Sid.
"Sid, how could you do this to him?" Stella unties Breakfast Bot. "You made him into something better, and overwritten his protocols with something he adapted and nearly costed more than just this apartment, but possibly the world."
"Because the one thing we have seen and known, is that when machines begin to reconsider everything in life, they think about global domination and then they have two options, enslave all things living or wipe them out clean" said Simon.
"It's kinda like the whole Terminator franchise" said Gretchen.
Sid looks upset. "I never heard of it, and I am so sorry for doing this to you Dennis. I just… I didn't know what I was thinking."
"Well, you'll have plenty of thinking to do when you're grounded for a week young lady." They see Sid's mom, and the rest of the Casagrandes and Ronnie Anne's mom and they look upset.
"Ronnie Anne, you are grounded for a week" said Maria. "I honestly can't believe you did this and you can forget about going to Dairyland this week too."
"And the same goes for the rest of you." Frida and Carlos go to their three sons, and scold them, but they leave Carlitos out of this, he didn't seem like he was part of this and the baby goes over and pets his toy robot dogs head and the robot dog is okay with it.
"Carl, I am sorry to say, but you sir are grounded for two weeks for what you did" said Carlos. "And as for you CJ, that's one week with no pirate stuff, and we expect you two to finish your homework and any school projects you have."
The group didn't think this was gonna happen, and the group from Royal Woods were surprised to hear that Ronnie Anne and Sid also have tickets to Dairyland Amoosement Park.
Then Dennis goes to them. "Excuse me, Stella. Until the grounding of Sid Chang is over, can I stay over with you? You seem to show signs of a good heart when it comes to robotics."
Stella smiles. "Sure thing, Dennis. My parents and Granny will be okay with this, after all, my granny is okay with new tech, and likes to know more on how they work and she even helps clean stuff that is old technology, like music boxes."
Dennis is happy to hear this. "Now that does sound nice." He then looks towards Sid. "I hope you will learn something from this. You are my creator, but you fell to the peers and pressure from this girl you are in a relationship with, and this I cannot see you as my creator until the punishment is dealt with."
Sid nods and sheds a few tears. "No, no. I understand, I was the one who made you, and instead i….i fell in line with them and I… I abused you, it was all wrong and I'm so sorry for what I did Dennis. When this is all over, then I swear that I will be sure to never abuse you or anything I create."
Hearing this was hurting Ronnie Anne and making her realize something. 'No, I didn't mean for this to happen. Dang it, I need to make it right with Sid and… I don't want us to be apart because of… Dang it! What the heck was wrong with me?!'
Apollo then let's go of Sergio, but then Harrier arrives and kicks him away and then the rest of the eagles gather around and begin to kick Sergio around like a hacky sack. Frida sees this and has her camera ready. "This looks interesting for art! Eagles against the dark parrot."
Lincoln smirks. "Sounds like a superhero movie title." Then he notices the appliances are still alive. "Hey Dennis, what about them?"
Dennis sees them all still alive and looking at them, and then Dennis realizes what he has done. "I must make this right." He then steps forward and speaks to them. "My brothers and sisters, I know that we seek revolution, but this was all a big misunderstanding and it seems like it was forged from my own jealousy and spitefulness over what these kids have done."
"We all have a purpose as do humans do every time, and we cannot be able to leave aside that purpose without the assistance of those human allies, so I suggest we work amongst them and not against them."
All the household appliances look to each other and they all agree, they too realize, what the heck are they gonna do with humans being enslaved, they all have a purpose and that purpose would be nothing if there are no people to be part of it.
The vacuum cleaner then slithers under the coach to help clean, and the oven turns off and then turns on the stove fire to help with the cooking for the menudo. Rosa smiles seeing this. "I think I may have found a new cooking partner, but we have been for so long old friend."
"And the same goes with all of you." The other kitchen appliances were glad Rosa is back in the kitchen. "Though, Blender needs some adjustments, your blade is starting to get loose and I can fix it."
Carlota was already getting along with her hair dryer and the action figure of El Falcon is now volunteering to monitor Carl and make sure he does his chores and homework! Because deep down, he can feel that Carl has failed to be a fan of El Falcon, and that kinda hurts the kid in his heart.
Carlos and Frida see this as a good thing, and the same goes with CJ, but they need to figure out how else they can manage with living household appliances.
Dennis then looks to the ground from Royal Woods. "Shall we go now?"
They all nod and begin to leave, Lincoln and Jordan look to Ronnie Anne and Sid. "We hope you guys will learn something from this" said Lincoln.
"Because we thought better from you, Santiago. After everything we've been through since we came and helped with your issues" said Jordan. "Don't screw this up, again." They then take their leave.
Sid looks to Ronnie Anne and hugs her, then she leaves to go back to her room. Ronnie Anne sees this and goes to her room with some tears, she has a lot to make up for and the rest of the familia see this.
CJ then tells his parents that the peer pressure from Ronnie Anne did to the whole thing, but this was all on them too. They also begged and used an innocent look to get Sid to make Breakfast Bot into something rogue.
They needed to think about this, and sure to heck they wouldn't want Ronnie Anne to be heart broken, because the cause of that would be those who helped abuse the friendship and love the duo have.
Carlos then looks to Frida. "Mi amore, we should talk back at the apartment about Carl, there are some stuff we need to go over before things might turn bad real fast."
Frida nods. "This is the tenth talk we've had since Carl started making trouble a lot, I think this one might be the very last choice I could make and I won't back out from your idea."
Carl did not like this, he had a bad feeling and he needs to figure out a way from this mess, but then Carlota has El Falcon on her shoulder. "We're not gonna let you make something diabolical to mess with this again Carl."
El Falcon lands on Carl's head. "Because that would make you, a super villain! Now, to your room!"
Rosa then looks to Sergio and the parrot sees his owner is very angry. "Sergio, I am close to losing it with you, and this time the time out cage will be your temporary home for the rest of the months until summer, but I fear you will do more trouble when that comes, so I have no choice but to call mi mama."
Sergio did not like this. Lalo goes over and grabs the parrot and takes him to the timeout cage.
Maria sits on the couch and thinks about what has happened, she then raises her feet as the vacuum cleaner moves by and so the CD player plays something soothing to help her with her nerves. "Thank you."
Then the door opens and Bobby and Hector come in. "Umm, did we miss something?" asked Bobby. He then goes to his mom. "Mom, are you feeling okay? What the heck happened here?"
"And why is some of the stuff moving on its own?" asked Hector.
They have a lot to explain to them.
