Chapter 540.
"Game over and take time."
(Royal Woods Middle School.)
The day has gone by and the game contest is over, and Royal Woods…. Did not win, they literally did not. But how the heck did they lose?
Well, the game seemed to start off as normal, with the team from Royal Woods against the rival team from Detroit and the first group of five played as heroes vs villains.
Which was the group of Lincoln, Jordan, Trent, Lance and Allison. The fight seemed well, but the whole thing went sideways and they lost, and all because Lincoln said he didn't need any help when he maneuvered as Bobba Fett.
The second round is a win for Royal Woods, and all thanks to Laurence who won when they played the Starfighter combat, can't say much when Jordan tried to maneuver using the Y-Wing, and she failed to bomb the target, but she lost focus and crashed.
The final round required the whole team, because it's Galactic Assault mode, which is a large group on both sides, and it would've went well if Lincoln and Jordan had focused more and not stuck around using Walkers and heavy weapons for the fight, they got taken down by suicidal Rebel fighters.
So, Detroit took the win, but they did not act like sore winners and were honorable gamers and even spoke to Lincoln and Jordan about what had happened and the duo try their best to take in their advice.
Now here we are, at the lockers of the team and all of them can tell that Lincoln and Jordan are in no mood to say anything, but the duo recall the words from the other team today.
"Whatever caused you guys to lose from that whole thing, it has something to do with personal crisis that was involving some stuff with how this week has been and we can tell. The best option is to sort out this controversy before it spirals out of control."
"You guys have played before and won, and even showed honor and respect and we wanna do the same, but we're concerned of how you guys played and how much rage was there, even though you guys didn't show it, we could see it in your eyes, you two seemed really miffed out."
"Whatever is going on with you two, try and get it in line and try not to let it go overboard, and just…. Well, fix the issue. Let it be a friend, a past mistake or something that has to be spoken about and we know you guys can handle this, good luck guys."
Those words were wise and something the duo are trying to cope with.
Lincoln is still upset after knowing that Luan is the whole reason why the other sisters ate the chocolate from the whole Girl Guru thing, just because she wanted to watch him freak out, but it led to some situations and to top it all off, his best friend Liam feels bad about how he started with the name of the Girl Guru and is reconsidering being his best friend.
He respects the choice he made in making Liam his best friend, but to see him go through this and because of what Cristina spoke to him, that was something he did not see coming and something he can't get over so easily. Lincoln is tied between a sister who started the chaos from long ago, and the loss of best friend status from his school buddy.
Jordan on the other hand is ticked off at what Cristina had sparked, and she now sees that the girl Éclair didn't think her words right and that the whole meeting with how the Girl Guru thing was responsible for the ignition to the breaking best friend words from Lincoln and Liam and now she doesn't know whether to try and talk to Cristina or not.
Not just that, but she's miffed at Luan, because she's the reason why Lincoln gave that girl advice, and the sole reason why Lincoln was nearly beaten to a pulp through that whole ordeal, and Clyde too, he also could've gotten seriously hurt, but that was the past, of a prank that involves school work that would've been an A for the boy she's in love with.
The rest of the team are now concerned for them, they did recall the words of wisdom from the other team and they decide to leave Lincoln and Jordan be.

The team walks out of the locker and out of the school and they see their friends and family. Though Lincoln doesn't see Liam anywhere and he sighs and walks past them all, and Jordan follows.
The eagles continue to stay with Luna and Ryan, Gretchen and Hope. Cristina sees this and she tries to approach them, but Mollie stops her. "Éclair, not the best time and we don't wanna have to watch you get a bloody beat down."
"Let them sort this out" said Hope. "The words from the other team seemed like good advice to take, and since gamers look out for each other, it made sense why they would wanna say those words to them."
Ryan crosses his arms. "At least it takes gamer's to help sort out the inner issues of others, because gamers can see how others feel through the way they play, kinda like how Lynn would tell from another player if they're upset."
Lynn wants to say something, but what Ryan said made sense and so she remains silent. The family then looks to Luan who wipes away some tears, she doesn't know what to do to regain the trust from Lincoln. 'Gosh darn it! What the heck was wrong with me back then?! Why did I do that?!'
'If I had left those chocolates alone, then Lincoln and Clyde wouldn't have to go through that damned Girl Guru thing and none of this would be happening and maybe the others wouldn't be in the same mess too.'
Luan can see the glares coming from those who were given advice and victim by the advice from the whole Girl Guru ordeal, even though Luan is older than them, she feels small within just from their angry glares and even Giggles never showed up.
Luan even wonders where Liam might be, this is also something the others wanna know as well. They thought he would be there to see Lincoln and the team play, but he didn't show up.
Luna sighs. "Come on dudes, let Linc and Jordan deal with this by themselves. We shouldn't bother with them." They all take their leave and go on home.
(Meanwhile.)
Lincoln and Jordan walk into Ketcham Park and the duo sit onto the bench, the very same bench from when they first met and the duo take a moment to let the peace seep into them.
Jordan then speaks. "So, now what do we do, Lincoln?"
Lincoln doesn't look to her and he tries to calm down. "I don't know, Jordan. The words from the other team, it seemed like something that we might do, I mean I need to talk to Liam on the choice we could come up with to either stay as best friend or…. Or not."
Jordan nods. "Yeah, and I already have beef on Cristina Éclair for what she sparked, and I don't wanna try and show her the meaning of fear. I did that last year with Carol Pingrey sure, but to do that to someone I know as a friend is something that a part of me doesn't wanna do."
Then they recall something. "Let's not forget about Luan, she ignited what happened and how it all went down and chances she can't be able to live this down till she sorts out how to make it up not just us, but to the others who got involved in the mess that I made" said Lincoln,
Jordan sighs. "Yeah, I mean amongst all of the sisters you have, I need to be honest here. Lynn and Luan aren't the best on terms for me to call trustworthy and I hope that's okay with you."
Lincoln nods. "No, I get it. Lynn can be hard to get and even after learning her mistakes she can be a bit harder to deal with, but she's trying still on making amends with some mistakes she did and through the outlook of not making me into her sports dummy, and she also took the beating I gave her last year."
"How can I not forget that one" said Jordan. "You literally scared the devil out of me and to Lynn, and sure as heck she's learned one thing. Never make you angry, and that lesson has been seen when we beat down those who think about coming back and harming our friends, loved ones and family."
Lincoln smirks. "Yeah, ain't that the cover story of the century. Luan though, she may be passed her mistakes of pranks that harm others, and all that changed when she learned not to do so again when you got hurt and that memory burns anger in me every time."
"But to just know that she is the sole reason to the start of the whole Girl Guru thing, now that burns more than anything. If she hadn't had done that, then the sisters wouldn't have been eating away what Clyde and I needed for our god damn stupid business project!"
Lincoln takes the nearby rock and throws it into the water, and this nearly hits Blastoise and all the Pokémon notice this and slowly back away, they have seen this kid with a smile, but to just act like this from something long ago is something they don't wanna get involved.
Jordan goes over and she holds his hand. "Lincoln, we can't stay mad at them forever and we can't hold onto a grudge for who knows how long. We gotta sort this out and make things right, and even if it means the opposing side has to make things right too. We can't let this anger get to us."
Lincoln calms down. "Sorry, it's just…. There is no way in reclaiming back from the past, and no way to make up for some issues that stared long ago, were not in Elementary School anymore, Jordan. This is Middle School and we're having this new life, away from trouble that would make me get involved."
"But getting haunted by the past can't be let go, dudes." The duo turn around and see Luna walk towards them. "Sorry for following you dudes, needed to make sure you two wouldn't get hurt or something."
Lincoln sighs. "It's alright, Lunes. We know that you still have the task to watch over us and it's admirable and touching."
Luna goes over and she hugs them both, Lincoln and Jordan return the embrace, and hug her as tight as they can. They're hurt inside and out, from what they had to hear and find out, and also deal with.
"Dudes, I get that Luan sparked what could be disastrous, but we can't just shun her out all the time. The rest of the family feel bad at the way she is now and she doesn't seem like the way she is now, and she's also trying to figure out how to make it up to you, Linc."
"But even I know that path is not the path that can be easily made possible. The past may come back to tell the truth, but the way to redeem those past actions is a path that can't be walked back to, and certainly can't moonwalk back to either."
"Let's give them some chances to talk, and also hear them out and then we can sort out any more stuff they need to deal with us. Let it be the reason why it was sparked, the reason with words that should not have been said and the meaning of trying to forgive themselves."
The duo continue to hug Luna and she stays in this embrace with them, all while the rest of the family sees this and are saddened at the words from Luna.
Luna is feeling worst now, she needs to sort this out. 'How the hell do I do this?! How do I make it up to Lincoln, to the others who were struck by the whole Girl Guru thing?! Stupid, stupid! I wish I could just go back and beat the turd out of my past self and make sure Lincoln and Clyde didn't have to look like fools and get into dang trouble!'
'This is not gonna be something anyone can forgive me about, this is a problem I need to fix and I don't even know how…. but, I'll try and figure it out, before I lose so much more than just the forgiveness and full trust from Lincoln and Jordan, I promise I'll fix this.'
At another part of the park, Cristina sees this and she sighs in sadness. 'My way of venting and saying those words to Liam was a mistake and just when I gave Lincoln's sister, Leni the path to her dream college and now chances she won't take it not after what I did.'
'I'm already in deep trouble with my parents, and with my friends and now with Lincoln and Jordan, and I need to figure this out, I need to apologize to all of them and…'
Cristina then sees Liam and Tabby there as well, they overheard from what Lincoln and Jordan had said, and the sight of those two was making Cristina nervous, and so Liam walks towards her.
"Cristina, I know you didn't mean those words, and that's why…. We need to talk, on resolving this issue before it gets out of hand."

A/N: The ordeal keeps going and chances they can sort this out before it loses itself to something worst, and they didn't even go to the sleepover at Great Lakes City either, this is something they'll need to tell Ronnie Anne and Sid about, when they have the time that is.
