Chapter 541.
"Talk amongst friends."
(Great Lakes City.)
Right now we see the duo of Lincoln and Jordan inside of Luna's car, and with them is Sam, Simon and Stella, and not far behind is the limo from Hope and inside is Hope, Ryan and Gretchen and they make their way through the high way and have arrived to the Casagrandes apartment.
They all park their rides and make their way towards the apartment building and come face-to-face to the duo who have been waiting for them: Ronnie Anne Santiago and Sid Chang.
Luna looks towards Lincoln and Jordan. "Try and get them to hear about this and also listen to whatever advice they got for ya, okay dudes?"
The duo nod, and they look to Ryan and the others. "You guys don't wanna come with us to talk to hang out and talk to them?" asked Lincoln.
"This is something you two need to sort out" said Ryan. "We're gonna be going around the city and checking out the sights, also having a double date." He holds Gretchen's hand and this makes her giggle.
Simon nods. "He's got a point, but we don't know what Hope is gonna…."
"I have my sights to speak with someone, and that would be Carlota and I know that at this moment, she's still at Margarita's" replied Hope. "See you guys later." she makes her way to the beauty salon and with Yamper following.
Ryan, Gretchen, Simon and Stella hop back into the limo and they drive off to wherever the city has that would make an awesome double date. Lincoln and Jordan sigh and look towards Luna and Sam. "You guys off to do something else?" asked Jordan.
"To the Mercado" said Sam. "Gonna check if what I ordered is here, which is something I wanna present to my mom on her birthday next week and also get a cool gift for my cousin for his birthday next week."
"I'm gonna tag along with Sam and help her out." Luna then hugs the two preteens and kisses their forehead. "Stay together, don't get into trouble and figure this ordeal out, before it gets out of hand. Got it?"
Lincoln and Jordan nod and they watch as Luna and Sam walk towards her car and drive off, with Artemis, Freya, Apollo and Raptor, while Patriot and Valkyrie are with Lincoln and Jordan.
They then see Ronnie Anne and Sid walking towards them. "Hey guys, you missed last week's sleep over at Laird's" said Ronnie Anne, with her arms crossed, even Sid.
"Yeah, sorry about that" said Jordan. "We were so caught up with some issues that we forgot, and we also needed to try and get our game faces ready and loaded for what came the day after that whole thing, and you two know what that would be."
The duo then stop being stern and look to them with concern. "We were told that something happened, and that something involved the whole ordeal of the Girl Guru crisis, and we understand" said Sid.
Lincoln and Jordan kinda knew that would've found out. "So, you guys knew?" asked Lincoln.
"From Jordan's brother, Ryan" replied Ronnie Anne. "He said that it had something to do with Kat's Birthday, which then sparked up a chain of events that would lead up to what Cristina said towards Liam and thus making the dark truth about Liam rethinking of the whole best friend role."
"And also the whole start of how the Girl Guru came to be, and not just because of Liam giving you the idea, that the whole thing started when the resident clown took the time to think of the stupid joke on the whole chocolate eating thing, that is so wrong!" said Sid.
"I mean, sure I like chocolate too, but not enough to just go and mess with someone's school work. That's mean, rude, and wrong and just down right bullying in another level, and Luan owes you so much for…."
"I know! I know! I know!" Lincoln then calms down, and takes a deep breath. "I know about that Sid, don't have to start it up and make things more complicated."
Lincoln then sees the concern from Jordan and she holds his hand, and the eagles back up. Then he sees the fear from Sid and she holds Ronnie Anne's hand and the Santiago girl has concern at what he just yelled. "Sorry about that, it's been a really hard time for me to handle things and…"
"No, no. This was one me, I shouldn't have said too much. Sorry, Lincoln" replied Sid.
Lincoln sighs. "It's alright. Now, we have a lot to talk about and how to settle some ordeals that came to be." They all nod and walk towards the apartment building. The eagles take to the skies and sit onto the rooftop and the pigeons go to them and tell the avians about Sergio and his recent mishaps which got the parrot in deep trouble.
Looks like they had made friends with the pigeons who recall Sergio and his antics and so they tell them of Bullets and the mate he found and they are impressed.
They didn't even notice the familia was hearing this from the window and were concerned about what had happened, and this makes Hector want to hear what they are going to talk about. So, he slowly opens the door and he sees the kids go to the basement to where they hang out.
But then Rosa grabs his ear. "Oh no, not this time. You and you're gossiping, Hector needs to stop."
"What? I don't gossip" said Hector. "Not like I wanted to know what was going on and tell it to some of my closest friends."
Tio Carlos goes to his father. "Dad, a lot of folks in the city are your closest friends, you seem to speak a lot of rumor and gossips to them. Might I remind you of that false treasure of Pancho Villa incident?"
Rosa also recalls and is angered by that moment her husband made into a cluster. Hector sighs. "Fine, I won't eavesdrop on them. But, I do wanna know how one manages to control a drone…"
"No, Hector no." Rosa drags him back into the building.
(The Hangout place.)
The four of them walk through the beaded door and they each take a seat onto the beanbag chairs, but there are two. So, Jordancoln on one bean bag chair and Sidonnie on the other one, see share for each couple.
Jordan then asks. "Sid, where the heck is Dennis?"
"Right now, with CJ and Carlotta and helping fix an issue that Margarita is having with her equipment, something about damages and maintenance" said Sid. "Dennis is doing great as a good and cheap handyman for the neighborhood and helping out with advanced tech stuff."
Lincoln and Jordan smile hearing that. "Wow. Looks like someone is proud of her creation."
Sid nods. "I am, and he was there through the whole sleep over thing, and he sorta had a part to play in the plan for Ronnie Anne and Laird."
"Alright, so mind telling us about what happened when we weren't around the whole sleep over?" asked Lincoln.
The duo of the apartment then tells them. "Alright, so Laird was a nervous wreck in doing this sleepover right?" said Ronnie Anne. "And he was also nervous about us going to where he lives, and we can get to that road soon, so I helped him by making the apartment of my dad the place for him to have it."
"My dad was busy with something else and so we made the whole apartment look like it was Laird's and the others fell for it, heck even Sid did."
"Not joking there" replied Sid. "A part of me was wondering why Laird was living there and another part of me was wondering why his apartment looked like someplace I went to and then it hit me and I decided to play along to help with Laird."
"Then Dennis who knew when we went in, decided to help along. He never did get the chance to be into a plan that would involve the nervous stuff Laird got into, and it worked, sorta."
Ronnie Anne then speaks. "With the help from Dennis and Sid, we managed to make things less of an issue, but then it got worse and when we finished watching the scary movie, we thought someone from the movie came to life to attack us."
"Turns out it was Ronnie Anne's dad and so the jig is up and the others understood about how nervous Laird was" said Sid. "Because we all have been down that road, we just need to…."
"Have a spark of courage to show that we can be prepared for the night with our friends" said Lincoln and Jordan and this makes them all laugh.
"We've been down that road before and it was a rough time" said Jordan.
"I always had a plan for the sleepovers when Clyde does come over" said Lincoln. "So, what happened next?"
"Well, we went to Laird's home and it turns out…." Ronnie Anne was ready to say this. "Laird is super rich, he has a mansion and it turns out, that's the mansion he lives in and his parents live in the mansion that neighbors it! Our minds were so blown, and so was my dad!"
Lincoln and Jordan didn't seem surprised. "Huh, well that does explain a lot" said Jordan. "I mean he tends to dress in something fancy when he goes to your school and he was homeschooled, so it made sense that he's a rich kid."
"Yeah, well maybe when he feels like it, he can invite the rest of you guys to the next sleep over" said Ronnie Anne. "Also, now that we have that covered up…."
Sid then finishes for her. "What's the real deal on the issue you guys got back home?"
Jordan and Lincoln then tell them about what had happened at that whole ordeal and how badly things have gotten on both to the loud sisters and their friends, mostly onto those who have come to be around into the mix of trouble from the Girl Guru ordeal.
But it's Liam and Cristina who are feeling the weight of the conflict that erupted. Liam because he chose to rethink about being Lincoln's best friend and Cristina who is regretting her role in taunting Liam onto the path that made Lincoln and Jordan show defiance onto her.
"We have to try and sort out how to talk them about this ordeal" said Lincoln. "And we know they wanna do so, and when it does happen, then we won't shut them out and listen to them. Let it be Liam or Cristina."
"We know that we haven't been given them the chance, because both of us have been venting and it hasn't been an easy stick" said Jordan. "But, like Lincoln said, we will hear them out and know how they feel, I mean I was ticked off at Cristina and it's like when I was angry at Carol Pingrey."
"That's a story we won't forget" said Sid.
"Well, at least you guys are taking in the advice from the team you guys faced at the gaming contest" said Ronnie Anne. "But now the real question is, Luan. She did start the whole thing when she was the one who lured the others into eating what you and Clyde was supposed to make."
Lincoln sighs, and is a bit irritated. "Yeah, I know. I know that I can't hold a grudge onto any of my sisters or family, but Luan made the ordeal that sparked the conflicts from long ago among my pals and Jordan's friends. But she is going to try something to make up for what she did."
"I honestly don't know what she has planned, but when she does come up with it, then I'll see what she has to confront to me about and how she's making up for her actions of the past."
Ronnie Anne and Sid were glad to hear that from Lincoln, and even Jordan. His path of his upset levels are gone and now he's on the path to hear the others out and see if they can be forgiven. Tomorrow is a day for them to make that move.
