Chapter 554.
"The Baby with the Louds part 2."

(May 2. The Loud House.)
Morning has shone, and Lincoln opens his eyes and sees that his sister is on his right and fast asleep, and on his left is Jordan and also asleep, they slept on the air mattress, and he also sees the Pokémon are surrounding them, and are still asleep.
Lincoln then sees someone awake, and that someone is Lucas Henvers, the infant smiles looking at Lincoln. The boy gets up and he helps Lucas sit up and the two look at each other, and then he places a kiss on the infant's forehead.
Lincoln then pulls him close and the baby hugs him, and then Lincoln whispers. "Lucas, I know this is not an easy thing to go through, and believe me I know. I nearly lost my sister one time, but the one thing I do know is that there will be others who'll have your back and keep you safe."
"Your mother will be fine, she'll wake up soon. I don't know when, but she will and then you'll have your family back together again, but the real family is everyone around you, along with your mother. We are not letting your mother down, and we're not letting you down, and that's a promise."
"A promise I kept too." Lincoln and Lucas sees Luna is awake. "Morning you too." she goes over and places a kiss on the forehead of Lincoln, and another one for Lucas and this makes him giggle.
"Good morning." Jordan is also awake and she goes over and Lincoln hands her the baby and she hugs him. Lucas smiles and hugs her back and she kisses his cheek. "Another day, and we'll get through all of this together, like we always do."
Luna pulls them close to her and hugs them and they hug her back, the Pokémon are also awake and they too join in on this. Lucas smiles at everyone surrounding him and he laughs at the cuddle time they're all having.
(Hours later.)
Everyone had finished breakfast and now all of The Loud siblings along with Jordan, Lucas, Ryan Gretchen, Hope, Simon, Stella and the Pokémon are outside and they see at the top of the tree house, Patriot removes the bandages on his wing and he stretches it.
Lincoln smirks. "Well, looks like someone beat us to the punch."
Patriot then looks down to everyone and they all wave to him, then Patriot sees the rest of his family on the roof of the house and waiting for him to make the move, and so the Bald Eagle closes his eyes and falls from the tree house.
Time seems to slow down, and as soon as he opens his eyes…. The eagle opens his wings and he takes off, and inches from Lincoln's head too!
Patriot then gets more lift as he goes higher and soon the rest of the eagles, along with Raptor and Apollo join in as well.
The others all cheer at what they see, and Lisa is recording this as well as Delilah and Ryan. The Bald Eagle is now flying once more, and the rest of their avian friends are glad he's back in it!
"Well, looks like someone is all patched up" said Jordan, she then let's Luxray carry Lucas on her back. "Yet, we still have to see how well Patriot is with flying around with tricks and all that."
Lincoln nods. "Yeah, at least he's doing well in flight. Also, look."
They spot Bullets along with his mate, Swellow also flying with them and this makes Luna smile. "Well, well. Look who joined in on this, glad we have another bird in the family, also what the heck has Harrier and Nora been doing lately?"
Gretchen recalls. "She's not wrong, but I think some of us have a good idea on what they're up to."
They recall that sometimes they see Harrier and Nora always hanging out at the Rosato mansion eagle sanctuary at the top of the roof, and when they do that, sometimes they fly off and gather some twigs, flowers and other stuff and making a big nest.
They can all tell that soon, pretty soon, they'll be seeing some eggs and chances of new eagles into the mix.
(Moments Later.)
After some breakfast, we now see Lucas in the living room and looking towards Lily, Lola and Lana playing with him, they brought out some plush toys he could play with and Lily is also drawing.
Lucas watches as Lola and Lana show him some plush animals to play with, though the twins end up arguing over what he should play with and Lucy sees this. "Girls, stop it. Lucas will play with whatever he… What the heck is he doing?"
The twins, and Lucy watch as Lucas crawls towards where Lily is, and the toddler sees the infant reaching for some paper, and he grabs the crayon nearby and this shocks them. "Wow that is one smart baby. Kinda like, Lily" said Lana.
Lincoln and Jordan come back from the kitchen and have a warm bottle of milk and then Luna along with Sam come down from the stairs after doing some practice with the new song, and they see Lucas drawing. "What the heck is Lucas doing dudes?" asked Sam.
Lincoln and Jordan go close to the baby and they see him take the orange, white, blue, yellow, red, green and brown crayons and Lucas begins to color on the paper.
Lincoln, Jordan, Luna and Sam sit around Lucas, and even Lily stops and looks at what he's doing, then Lola, Lana and Lucy go over and see what he's drawing.
Lucas then finishes and he looks to Lincoln and Jordan, and they see that he drew on one paper are two stick figures one of orange with white hair and another in a yellow color with brown hair and a purple stick figure with brown hair, and that represents Luna.
They all awe at this cute thing he drew and this makes Lincoln, Jordan and Luna go down to his level and hug the baby and they kiss him on the cheek. "That's so sweet of you Lucas" said Jordan.
"You're learning, and becoming smart too" said Lincoln.
Luna smiles at this. 'Reminds me of when Lincoln was so little and drew me on the paper, and I still got his old drawings ion the attic too.' Luna then notices the other paper has a tall stick person wearing a red dress, and holding someone small. "Dudes."
They all look to the other drawing and they see Lucas touching it, and then he speaks. "Mama." This doesn't shock everyone, since Lincoln, Luna and Jordan told them he spoke last night, but the sight of seeing Lucas tough the other drawing only meant one thing.
That drawing symbolizes Lucas and his mother, Jillian and that he misses her so much. The infant is starting to get sad, but then Lincoln picks him up and hugs him and the baby returns the embrace.
"We know, Lucas. We know it hurts, but don't worry, we're all here and we're not gonna let you become lonely. Your mother will come back, we promise."
They all gather around and do what they can to comfort the sad infant. Even Growlithe goes over and the bay reaches and hugs him too. This has Jordan wondering something. 'Wait, who the heck is gonna watch over Lucas while we're at school tomorrow?!'
(Noon time.)
Lincoln and Jordan are both in the living room and they talk about what might happen should Lucas stay with them longer. "We don't know when Ms. Henvers is gonna wake up, and if she doesn't what do we do now?" asked Lincoln.
Jordan sighs. "No clue, we have to go to school still, and we can't leave him unattended. He'll get lonely, even though he will have some Pokémon and animal company, he still needs someone to look after him."
Lincoln then thinks about this. "Maybe Michelle could do that one, she usually goes to pick up Lily from daycare, but when she drops her off then she comes back to the house and watches over the place, and Lucas is okay with her company."
"Well, that does sound like a pretty good idea" said Jordan. They then see someone come down the stairs and that someone is Leni and in her arms, is the now awake Lucas.
"Hey you two, guess who's awake from his nap and ready to play again?"
Leni then goes towards Lincoln and Jordan and she lets Lucas sit on the couch with them and she also sits with the duo. Lucas smiles and he goes over and hugs Jordan, and she hugs him back. Lincoln and Jordan smile and kiss his cheeks. "Good to see you too, Lucas."
Leni smiles and then asks. "So, now what guys? I mean, you got school tomorrow and we need to know who watches over Lucas. He doesn't like being alone." Leni knows, in fact, they asked her to stay in the room and watch over the infant and she happily accepted.
Lincoln sighs. "We're not sure yet, we know he'll have Pokémon and animal company, but we also thought that Michelle Lewis could do that part. She could help keep an eye on…" They then hear the door knock.
"I got this." Jordan is about to get up, but then Lucas reaches for her, and so she carries him towards the door and Lincoln and Leni follow her, and then Luna comes out from the kitchen and sees what's going on."
They all go over to the door, and when they open it they see Jillian. With a small bandage to her forehead and no other injuries, she's awake and all healed up. "Lucas."
Jordan then let's Lucas down and the baby gets up and slowly walks towards her and then calls out. "Mama… Mama…"
Jillian is surprised to hear this, she begins to shed tears and she kneels down with open arms. "Oh, Lucas, my darling." The baby then reaches for her and the two of them embrace.
Seeing this is so moving, and Leni uses her phone to take a pic of this moment. Lincoln and Jordan smile at what was happening, and they see Lynn Sr and Rita smile. "Jillian here wanted to make this a surprise for Lucas, and so we helped her" said Rita.
"But we didn't tell her that her son spoke his first word" said Lynn Sr. "So, she got her surprise as well."
They all smile seeing this tender and loving reunion between mother and son, and soon the rest of the louds come to see what was going on, and they all come over and celebrate this tender moment.
