Chapter 563.
"The incoming this Friday."
(Royal Woods Middle School.)
May 12, and right now we have Lincoln Loud and Jordan Rosato, and the duo walk towards the school and are talking about what to do when Sunday hits. "So, we know where Lily is gonna have her birthday right?" asked Jordan.
Lincoln nods. "All we need to do now is make sure nothing bad happens, and we're gonna have the eagles around as usual to help make that happen, and the rest of some friendly faces."
The duo walk into the school and then they meet up with Ryan, Gretchen and Hope. "Hey guys, got any plans this weekend?" asked Lincoln.
"We actually do have something planned. We're planning to go to Great Lakes City and have some fun, kinda like a small break of us three" said Hope. "You two want in?"
Lincoln and Jordan smiles, but its Jordan who speaks. "Now that sounds like an awesome idea, and we can have an awesome time hanging out at the Pizzeria, I know it'll be something we can enjoy all together before next week."
Ryan nods. "Yeah, the finals and luckily, we managed to pull off in dealing with all of our assignments and projects, especially the ones from Mr. Bolhofner. Man he can really make Math hard."
"No kidding" said Gretchen, she seems less amused. I mean the man has no clue how we even feel about the whole thing he does when math should be sorta simple with some challenges along the way, but instead he makes it seem like boot camp in a military school with no sense of fun."
Lincoln also agrees to this. "What I don't get, is what the heck is always making him grumpy. I mean, it makes sense why he seems less grumpy when he has his morning coffee, but there's something about Bolhofner that makes things complicated to understand. Almost like he has something itching in his mind." That one they all agree on.
The group then walks off down the halls, and they continue to talk more about the finals and that they managed to finish every single project, assignment, book report and quizzes, and now the only thing left is to study hard on what they should pass.
But then they also recall that… Delilah Silver, Darrel, Allison and Laurence won't be in the Middle School for long, they're a year above them and when the summer vacation is done, then the four of them are advancing to the High School.
So now one question comes to their minds. 'Who the heck are gonna lead the clubs while they're gone?'
Just then they see the rest of their friends, and all of them are talking and gathered around the bulletin board, and this gets the attention of Lincoln because he sees the worried look from Liam and Clyde. "Guys!"
The sound of Lincoln yelling startles the group and they back off, and this has Lincoln confused. "What the heck is going on with you guys?"
The group seems uncomfortable on what they should say. Gretchen looks to the bulletin board and is shocked. "Guys, look." They turn to the bulletin board and Lincoln's eyes go wide.
"This Friday, Royal Woods Middle School is going to premiere its first ever Business project event. So, team up with someone and come up with a special business stand and earn some extra credit. Only the freshmen of the Middle School are allowed to do this, and we'll be getting some guests from the High School and Elementary School."
Lincoln remains silent and they all look towards him, Clyde and Liam on the other hand seem nervous about this. It brings back the mistake of pies they made for Clyde, and for Liam is the reason why the whole Girl Guru idea came to be.
They can tell that Lincoln is planning to process on what to do with what he just found out. They don't know if they should even talk to him, or see if he's doing alright and even Jordan remains silent and waits for something to happen.
Something does happen and that something, or someone is Jenny Mulligan and she makes it to the group and is in panic. "Guys! Guys. I forgot to tell you all the other day because of the birthday you guys had to… Never mind."
Jenny sees Lincoln staring at the bulletin board and he doesn't seem to be responding to everyone, and they all think that he's gonna snap, but then he speaks. "Well, looks like we got something else to make up for when this Friday hits."
Lincoln looks to the others. "Alright, so who wants to be my partner in this one? Because I think we could all be able to ace this one before the finals hit and earn some extra credit and make our family proud."
They all remain silent and this makes Clyde faint. Lincoln on the other hand is confused. "What? Was it something I said?"
"No, well I think" said Hope. "We thought you'd be super miffed at this whole thing."
Lincoln chuckles. "Guys, this is not the past with the Royal Woods Elementary School, and this time we're changed and we're not gonna go onto each other and get angry at some bad ideas. We know when not to make a bad move, and so does the rest of my family."
The sound of Lincoln not getting miffed at this new last project was making them feel confident, and so Liam steps forward. "Well, buddy. You just got yourself a project partner. So, what the heck do we do now?"
Lincoln smirks, and the others begin to talk about partnering up with each other and he sees Jordan talking to Hope about partnering up for the project as well. Now this is a good change.
Principal Ramirez sees this and sighs in relief. 'Now all we need to do is make sure nothing bad happens. The last thing this school needs is the staff getting angry at one of the students with bad advice.'
(Royal Woods High School.)
Luan is surprised by what she sees and she thinks about the fliers that speak of something the Middle School is also seeing. 'What the heck?! Why would they have this setup at the Middle School? The elementary school time was something Linc had to endure, and now this?!'
Luan then walks down the halls, and she sees Luna wave to her, and she has concern in her face as well. But Luan ignores her and she even ignores Leni and just goes to her locker.
Luan then ponders of what to do this Friday. 'Maybe I should steer clear and avoid the event, that'll make things less of an annoying or bad outcome…' She closes her locker and sees Lynn Jr, her sister.
"Luan I can tell that you read the flier and that you plan to avoid the whole thing, right?" asked Lynn.
Luan sighs. "Yeah, that is true, I mean, can ya blame me? I was the whole dang reason why Lincoln and Clyde couldn't pass the last one back in Elementary school! I don't see any reason for me to be there, I might make things worse."
Lynn then speaks. "No you're not." Luan looks to her little sister. "Luan, I get it. You're afraid that Lincoln would be upset seeing you at the whole event because of what you ignited, but what if he doesn't? And that one is a total truth, he won't get mad at you."
"Luan, you spoke to Lincoln and he let you speak because he knows that you were in torment through the mind you had and the doubt of what you caused. So that means that there is no freaking way Linc would have a reason to be mad at you, I know he'll be fine with you being there."
"The dudette is not wrong." They see Luna walk towards them. "Linc isn't one to hold a grudge unless it's someone who hurts the fam, his pals and gal of his dreams. Linc wouldn't want you to not be there, and chances he'd want us to come and see what he and whoever his partner is have planned."
"Totes." Leni also joins in on this. "Linky is going to do awesome, and no way would this one go wrong. Still kinda surprised they would have the elementary school tag along and see this, but I guess that sounds like a chill idea."
Luan smiles hearing this. "Yeah, I guess you guys are right. I shouldn't sit this out, and in fact… I got me an idea. I'm gonna help with Lincoln and his partner and whatever they have planned."
Hearing that makes them smile, but also a bit concerned. Because chances Lincoln and his partner won't need any assistance since they have to do this on their own.
(Royal Woods Elementary School.)
Principal Huggins is looking to the flier, earlier Oliver showed up and he began putting the fliers onto the bulletin boards all around the elementary school and this got the attention from Huggins, Sheryl, Mrs. Johnson and Coach Pokawski and they couldn't believe what they were seeing.
Principal Huggins takes some time to think about this. 'I just… I just don't understand. Why? Why would they not tell me about this? I mean, I could've done something to help, and yet those two don't tell me about this?!'
'I thought we spoke about having some agreement in letting Lincoln handle his complex issues of the mistakes here that caused trouble and chaos, but now this is happening.' He then recalls the whole talk he had with Mrs. Johnson and Coach Pokawski about their actions in the whole thing years ago.
'I just hope that this one they have planned won't be something of a dark reminder of the one I didn't even supervise. The last thing we need is another Girl Guru ordeal.'
He then looks out the window and watches the other kids talking and having fun, and he notices Lucy, Lola, Lana and Lisa speaking to each other, seems like they plan on something that involves what they found out.
