Chapter 570.
"Night Time Gazing."
(The Loud House.)
Night has fallen and now we see Lincoln, Luna, Lisa and Lucy come out and head to her car, they are all going to the Gurdle house to witness the meteor shower viewing, and the others have some other stuff to do before tomorrow begins. The eagles are given a break to rest up, there hasn't been much trouble.
They even talk about what transpired the other day. "So, no knowledge on who that stranger was?" asked Lucy.
"There was, and it turns out this person is a homeless, and jobless bum" replied Luna. "We talked to our pals at the Allied Outpost and they found out a lot about this dropout from college. He's got nothing left, and was dubbed delusional and insane when he had a mental breakdown in college two years ago."
"Removed from the college and sent out, with nothing left in his life he wandered the streets of Manhattan and was one of the few who snuck to the tour concert we had with Mick Swagger, we don't know what triggered his weird shipping mind, but we're glad he's out of the picture."
"No one is pressing charges after he was hit, and we all thanked the truck driver for a job well done, because that guy was gonna end up killing someone."
"But we took the privilege to help pay for a new window to the Mercado" said Lincoln.
"At least that meddlesome fool is out of the picture" said Lisa. She brought her telescope. "That fool had no mind within, and seemed more like a lost cause and no signs of sanity or humanity, also this deluded mind he had seemed more like his own doing."
"There is still much more to identify from the cause of his mental insanity and lack of judgment to the reason of being a total outcast and low-leveled fool with no self-confidence or even a second plan in life." That one they can all agree on.
"Well, we can talk more about that some other time" said Luna. "We should get going to see some meteor showers, come on."
As they all go into the car, Lincoln then ponders about what had happened the other day. 'That twisted fool. He thought he could get what he wants, and try to kill those who have made us who we are now?! So glad he's gone for good and now things can be as they always were.'
'But still, I can't help but feel as if something else is gonna come for us, and if that does happen then we must be prepared to face whatever new threat will be coming. I don't want to have anyone else get caught into the bad mix, and after what happened with Ronnie Anne and Sid….'
'Now I fear for our friends from other locations. They didn't deserve to go through that and even though Sid was brave to stand up to that moron, she could've gotten killed. We need to speak with them soon, and see what we can figure out for when the future does come, for all of us.'
With all of them inside the car, Luna starts the engine and they drive off to the Gurdle House.
(Gurdle House.)
They soon arrive to the house of Zach, and they see the rest of their friends from the school. Jordan, Ryan, Gretchen, Hope, Simon, Sam, Stella, Clyde, Chloe, Emma, Paige, Renee, Artie, Lane, Trent, Joy, Cookie, Kat, Rusty, Liam, Polly, Tabby, Giggles, Haiku, Persephone, Mollie, Sadie, Allison, Laurence, Darrel, Delilah, Flat Tire, Jenny, Chad and Richie.
But something is wrong, they don't seem pleased. Lincoln goes towards them. "Guys, what's wrong?"
Then they see Zach, and his parents Curtis and Jean. "Linc, we can't do the whole meteor shower gazing" said Zach.
This surprises them. "What? Why?" asked Luna.
Then they see a mole come out of the ground and then it goes back in. "That is the reason why" replied Jean Gurdle. "We didn't think that would end up in our backyard, and the whole place is overrun. We can't have all of you be in the backyard, chances you'll end up sinking into the dirt."
"Almost as disturbing as being abducted" said Curtis. "We called an exterminator, but he said that he'll do the job when tomorrow hits, and he's gonna have to use something to get the moles out of our backyard."
Lucy then kicks one of the moles that comes out and it sneaks away into one of the holes. "There are more than 3." They spot a few more popping up and then going back in.
"Dudes, you need more than one exterminator, but what the heck lured them here anyway?" asked Luna.
"We found this." Jean shows them a vegetable. "We don't plant such stuff, and this thing was growing, and then we found more. Also, this may have been on me. Because weeks ago, I was going to chop up some vegetables for dinner and I accidently tripped and the seeds I was planning to get rid of got caught into our little vacuum cleaner."
"The little thing went out of control and then sped up to the backyard and broke down there, I guess the seeds grew and the moles showed up, also our home is neighboring an open field." She's not wrong, at the other side of the fence from the backyard is an open field, which they mostly use for observations.
They can't use that area, because its grasshopper season, and those little insects are all over the open fields, and now that the backyard is contaminated by moles, they can't use it either.
"So, what the heck do we do now?" asked Stella. "The whole meteor shower begins in less than an hour." The others are also feeling upset, and a bit disappointed, heck even Trent brought some marshmallows for this event
Jordan looks to everyone else. "Guys, I kinda had this backup plan, so now we can all go with that one. That is if the Gurdle's are up to it."
Zach looks to his parents, and they know that whatever Jordan has planned would truly help. "Well, I guess we should go with what Miss Rosato has in store" said Curtis.
Jordan nods, and then she makes the call for someone to come and pick them up.
(Allied Outpost.)
They all arrive to the Allied Outpost, and the main doors open and everyone sees the forces all going around and checking their equipment, and then they see the man who helps run the joint as second command, Peter Harris.
"Hey guys, glad you could all come." Peter Harris goes towards them and the kids all get off the Armoured Personnel transport, with the help from the soldiers there. "Also, we have the whole place setup and ready for all of you."
"Awesome, come on guys!" Jordan grabs Lincoln, and she races off with him, and everyone else follows them towards a large dome structure at the top of the Command Center.
They all walk inside the main base and they see the woman in charge walk by them and go through some reports about the whole incident from the other day, this gets the attention of Lincoln and he knows that they're still trying to figure out more about what had happened.
They then arrive to a large room and it sure is spacious, and Lisa looks around the place. "This seems like a location used for celestial observations, and also a landing pad for private or officer-based aircraft. I am correct, right?"
Peter Harris smirks. "Almost." He pushes the lever. "Also, we're on time. Take a seat folks." They watch as the environment of the dome is changed into a grassy field, and the dome above them is opened and they see the night sky.
Lisa is fascinated by all of this. "Incredible
"This place acts like a training ground, and also what Lisa spoke of, and all modified and enhanced by our allies from across the Great Gate, enjoy the show everyone." He then sits next to Luna and Sam and they watch as the meteor shower has begun.
They all look in awe and enjoy this amazing view of the meteor shower, and take some pics and even record this moment. While Lisa uses her telescope, and so do the Gurdles and they take note of this astronomical event.
Lincoln looks towards Jordan and he holds her hand, she notices this and she intertwines her fingers with his. "No matter what happens, Jordan. We will always be together."
"For as long a time gives it, for our lives are meant to be intertwined into something beyond the Spark we began, years ago." Jordan then shares a passionate kiss with Lincoln, and he too returns the kiss.
Luna, and Sam see this and smile. They both look forward to whatever else is going to happen with the duo who sparked the life everyone is facing now.
