Chapter 579.
"The spark of our own."

The day is done for those at the school, and even to those who have finished with soccer practice, and Lynn is busy talking to herself on the bench. 'Easy Lynn, calm down. This plan is gonna work, and when I do have the time, then I tell Annabelle how I feel.'
Lynn then sees Annabelle talking to Margo and Paula as they are done with practice. "Alright gang, the whole game is tomorrow and we got this whole thing all wrapped up and in it for the win!" said Margo.
Paula chuckles. "We got Lynn our star player, and we got her equal, Annabelle, and that shot you made sure was one straight strike!"
Annabelle giggles. "Thanks, but straight is not what I would call myself when not doing the whole game." This makes Lynn stand up and slowly walk towards them.
Margo and Paula are confused by what she had said. "What are you talking about?" asked Paula. Though, Margo has this hunch on what she means.
Annabelle then blushes. "Alright, but I wanna trust you guys not to look down at me for what I am about to say. Girl's, I am not straight, I am bisexual and I have a crush on this girl, in the school." That caught Paula off guard, and it makes Lynn has some hope.
Lynn recalls that Leni said that Annabelle has some feelings, and she's too nervous to say it. 'So, maybe Annabelle does have a crush on me as I have a crush on her.'
"Wow, man. That's fine with us" said Paula. "I mean, no matter what you pick, it's all good. But, what about your parents, do they know about this?"
Annabelle nods. "I've been Bi since my first days of Middle School, and they're fine with the whole thing and wish for me to be safe with the choices of relationships I choose, and I hope I can tell the girl I have a crush on about how I feel."
Margo then notices Lynn coming from behind to ask something and this makes her smile. "No worries there Annabelle. You can be brave enough to nail one heck of a kick to score it big time, and surely you can score it big with the girl you have a crush on. She'll definitely understand."
'Because that gal is on the same page as you, Annie.'
Paula notices this too. "Yeah, Margo's right. Well, we'll see you and LJ tomorrow when the game starts and bring you game face, we need the firepower if we're gonna win." Margo and Paula walk off with their bags.
"Hey, Annie." Annabelle turns around and is startled by Lynn. "Sorry about that."
Annabelle blushes and chuckles nervously. "Oh, hi there Lynn. Sorry, you startled me a little bit, and it's okay. You had a great kick today, and knew how to lead us through the whole thing, you were great."
Lynn blushes. "Thanks, there Annie. Say, I was gonna tell you something, mind to meet me at the front of the school?"
Annabelle smiles. "Yeah, I'd like that. Meet ya there, Lynn." Annabelle then grabs her bag and she walks away from Lynn. 'Oh gosh! Lynn likes me? Does she like me? I don't know, but what happened months ago, it could mean something!'
Lynn sighs in relief and she goes to get her bag. 'Alright, so far so good. Just need to talk to her at the front of the school, and the two of us can ride off to the Burpin' Burger, or Gus' Games n' Grub. Whichever works.'
But the two girls are unaware of someone hiding in the bushes, and this teen sees Annabelle headed to the front of the school. "Time for you to pay, Annabelle." He then sneaks around some other bushes and follows the girl.
Annabelle is busy at the bench waiting, and she goes over some notes that she has planned for some tactics for the summer baseball game. "Annabelle!"
The girl is shocked by the voice and she looks to see who it is. She has no clue who he is and looks around. "Umm, hello? Who are you?"
"Jacob Adamson! But that was when my mom became part of that dumb brained step dad! You may know me as formerly the son of someone who is long gone, so I am taking back the last name, and thus I am Jacob R. Eddit, the son of the Mayor of Greatsville!"
Annabelle is now surprised by what she heard, she gets up and backs away from him, and the boy moves closer. "W-What do you want from me? Leave me alone, please."
Jacob scoffs. "You are the sole reason as to why the glorious town my dad owned has been arrested, and all because of that damned stupid ass last name, and that damned dumbass cousin of yours too!"
Annabelle then sucks in some courage, she doesn't like it when her last name is being referenced to someone she hates. "I am nothing like Chandler, and that boy isn't even a McCann anymore! He's disowned! Also, what the town did was horrid and mean, we did nothing wrong!"
"Lies! Lies from a McCann, who deserves no life or any chances of living!" Jacob then has a knife. "I am going to end you, for what you did! End the bloodline!" He then charges forward.
Annabelle tries to evade him, but the boy tackles her and he pins her to the ground, she tries to punch him, but she hits her in the face and then head-butts Annabelle, and now she's dazed from the attack.
Jacob then readies the knife. "I'm gonna stab you so many times, that there's be too many holes to count as you bleed! And when I'm done with you, that loud family who helped you is next!"
Annabelle tries to push him off. "N-No."
Just as Jacob is about to kill Annabelle, someone tackles Jacob and begins to beat the living snot out of him, and that someone is Lynn Loud Jr, and she is furious.
Jacob tries to use the knife, but then Lynn bites his arm and he yells in pain and drops the knife, and then he kicks Lynn off of him. "You die too!"
But then Annabelle tackles him and then she punches him in the face, Lynn sees the soccer ball from Annabelle's bag. "Heads up!" She throws the ball, and then Annabelle kicks Jacob away and she leaps into the air and kicks the soccer ball.
Jacob regains himself, but he gets hit straight to the face by the soccer ball, and he falls to the ground and is knocked out, then Principal Rivers arrives and she saw everything from her window and she calls the cops and the others about this.
The janitor arrives and he drags the unconscious boy and ties him up. Lynn goes over to Annabelle. "Are you alright?"
Annabelle nods. "I'm fine, a bit shaken, but fine." She then looks to the unconscious boy. "I never would've thought, that someone from the past from which we were trying to forget came to exact revenge, on something we did to stop the madness."
Lynn places a hand onto her shoulder. "Well, don't let that get to ya, and I am glad you're fine now. I don't want anything bad to happen to someone I…. Someone I deeply care about, and I just wanted to say that… I kinda like you, a different kind of like, the deep kinda like."
Annabelle has stars in her eyes, but she shakes it off and she too smiles. "Wow. Well, I guess that's what you wanted to talk about, right?"
Lynn nods. "Sorry if this is kinda awkward or something."
"No, no." Annabelle then holds her hand. "This is fine, because I kinda deeply like you too. I was just scared of telling you, and thought you wouldn't share my feelings." She looks away and blushes.
But Lynn uses her hand to make Annabelle look to her. "I was in the same boat as you, Annie. But all it took was some courage, determination and some talk to my older sister, and I am glad you feel the same way. You wanna see if we can make this work?"
Annabelle nods and blushes. "Yeah, I'd like that. But maybe next time, for now we have a lot to deal with."
Lynn sees Jacob not responding. "Agreed." they then hear sirens and see the cops have come, and so has Annabelle's parents and the Louds, they have a lot to explain to them on who this kid is and what he wanted.
Looks like they have a new threat and this one is not just targeting the louds.

A/N: That kid is dealt with, and it seems like LJ has admitted how she feels and same with Annabelle, and so the small spark they have is slowly building, and they may find some way to get to know each other when next month hit. Leave a review and tell me what you all think.
