Chapter 580.
"After that unexpected mess."
(Ketcham Park.)
We now go to the park where they always come together and enjoy themselves, and now we see Lincoln Loud, along with Jordan Rosato and the eagles flying above them making their way to speak with Lynn and Annabelle.
Earlier was the soccer game and the game was a win for Royal Woods, and when the whole thing was done, Lynn and her team went to get some victory lunch, and then it would lead to Lynn and Annabelle going to meet with Jordacoln at the park to talk.
Jordan then looks towards her boyfriend. "So, Leni stoked for June 3?"
Lincoln nods. "Yeah, the day when she…. When Leni is gonna make her mark out of High School, and then follow in Lori's steps and seek out the right college for her, and we already know which college is it."
Jordan nods. "The one from Cristina, the college her mom owns. She did take the entrance exam of the college, right?"
Lincoln then recalls. "Yeah, she did. But no word on if she made it or not, she's patient and she said that there are others who are doing the same thing, and she can tell that those trying to be part of the college wanna make their mark as she wants to."
"Chances she might make a friend there, and it won't be too far from town, as the same with Lori in Fairway and such, and another big news, Lori will be spending her three months away from college here in town. So, she might come and live with us, or seek out a new place to stay for the time being."
Jordan thinks about this. "Now that does make sense, the linen closet that was once your room is no more than a common linen closet now, and she might have some other place to stay and yet be close to the family. Such as Michelle's home?"
Lincoln nods. "Michelle has an extra room for her and so we all talked it out and Lori is gonna be staying with Michelle Lewis, and another thing I recall, is the graduation of Jessica Carson is possibly next month or they might move it, and if that does happen, then comes what she plans to do."
Jordan chuckles. "Yeah, she did say she wanted to live here, and she plans on something else. You think she wants her little sister to move here too?"
Lincoln smirks. "That one is a tough choice, we recall that her boyfriend Mark lives in Tuscola, and she has friends and then comes the whole thing of telling the whole thing to her parents. We don't even know if she does wanna have her little sister live in Royal Woods."
They both continue to walk down the path and watch as Lana and Lola, with their friends from school are busy playing at the playground. "A lot is changing, and it's all for the better" said Lincoln. "We're all growing up and we have to look forward on what we plan to do next with our lives in town."
"No kidding, we're all changed" said Jordan. Then they see two high school students and they're playing some soccer and then wave towards Lincoln and Jordan.
"Hey guys, glad you two could make it" said Annabelle. "We're also planning to wait for other two, Luna and Sam, but we can wait for them when they do come."
"Also, the big game was a win and we aced it, and now Royal Woods is back on top, and we showed Beaverton whose boss!" said Lynn Jr. "Dang feels good to be the star player, and also a team player." She high fives with Annabelle.
Lincoln and Jordan smile seeing this, they know that the duo they see now have something more within them than just the simple friendship and mutual respect of the whole sports thing. "So, what's this small meeting all about you two?" asked Lincoln.
Lynn looks to Annabelle, and the C. McCann asks them. "Was there any information on the kid who tried to attack me?"
They didn't think she would ask, and so Jordan answers that one. "His name is Jacob Adamson and what he said was all true, he is the son of the man who was the mayor of Greatsville, Hazel R. Eddit, and his mom is Zarya K. Towers. She left him long ago, when she wanted no part in his plans."
"He even tried to force her to stay, but she fled from him and no one knew the real reason why she left, and then she went into hiding and had a new life, somewhere in Detroit, and she changed her name to Martha K. Towers, and thankfully the old mayor didn't know about her."
Annabelle is surprised to hear about this, and she does recall that the mayor did once was married, but no one knew why she left the man, and now she knows why. "What about Jacob, what does he have to do with any of this against me?"
Jordan sighs. "From what my god father told me, the kid grew up troubled and upset, and he had some doubts and problems and had to see many therapists to see what his ordeal was, and his dad… Well, stepdad, Monte Adamson tried to be a good dad when the kid was born."
"But when his birthday came last year, he found out something, the whole truth about what happened in his true home and so he wanted to talk to his dad, but then came the whole thing from months ago and that was…."
"The whole arrest to Greatsville" said Annabelle. "That's where he snapped, right?"
Jordan nods. "Yeah, he heard about what happened and he despised the last name you have and blamed so much on the family you have, and then he wanted to join the whole thing his real dad was gonna make happen, but it changed when he heard about the whole arrest."
Lynn knows that one. "Yeah, the day we ratted them out and told the truth about what he and his minion army of Greatsville, and then he kicked the bucket like a wet sandwich in the dumpster." This makes Lincoln smirk and he high fives with his sister.
Jordan then continues. "So, he went off to cause some damage and make a plan, to take down the family, well families who took down his dad and his people, and so he left his mom and stepdad. But, after the other day, they sent some guys to see what was going on in his old home and they found…."
Jordan didn't wanna say anymore and she went to sit on the bench, and they followed her and they can tell something was troubling. "Jordan, what happened?" asked Annabelle.
"Zarya and Monte Adamson are gone, they were found dead, five days dead and rotting in their bedroom. My godfather, he said that they got word that the cause of death is from something toxic, they were poisoned after eating something at dinner" replied Jordan.
She then looks away. "He's sick and twisted, and he killed them, blamed them for keeping him from Greatsville, and then the cops found his plans in his room, and he left some traps to blow the place up, but they were never triggered and didn't even went off, they were kinda broken."
They didn't like what she was about to tell them. "Did he have plans to go after us?" asked Lincoln.
"He did" replied Jordan. "He planned to kill Annabelle, and then the rest of us, and then the whole of Royal Woods, and the rest of the towns neighboring, Hazeltucky, Beaverton and Great Lakes City. He was hell-bent for revenge, and didn't want anyone to survive what he was planning."
This was something they did not see coming, and Annabelle sits on the bench and is surprised from all of this. "This…. God, I don't even know…. Jeez. This is all…."
"Not your fault, Annabelle." Lynn sits next to her. "You chose to walk away from the life there and it was we who convinced you and your parents to tell the truth, because we didn't want you guys to be made into people who were like Chandler."
"You guys didn't have to go through the lies that Greatsville and its people were going to spread. We wanted to help you end that madness, and make sure you guys live a life that doesn't have any signs of the past coming back, and we're sorry for this whole thing that went down."
Annabelle then thinks about this. "All of this is just… That kid was troubled, and he was sick to the bone for his act against me, to be like his damned father who was nothing more than some…. That town was twisted, and all because of Chandler."
"He started all of this, he made the McCann last name into the last name of monsters who wanted to be made into some kind of hated part of history. We did no wrong, he did all the wrong, and he's been disowned by the McCann last name, and yet he still calls himself that."
Lincoln and Jordan then do what they can to calm her down. "What happened, happened and you are not gonna be alone the next time he comes back" said Lincoln. "Even though the last name is something I recall from an enemy of ours, you're nothing like him."
"Because he was the trouble, but you're no bad to the bone, McCann" said Jordan. "You're Annabelle C. McCann, and you have a life ahead of you in which could be the true future you seek, and with others to come along and help along the way."
"Like me." Lynn blushes and she holds Annabelle's hand.
Annabelle also blushes. "Yeah, like you and I am happy that we both wanna see this whole thing we wanna do, to see how we can spark something."
Lynn nods. "Glad we're on the same side, and glad we met. You're different from anyone I met, and I feel like I found someone who's my equal, and a good friend, and someone who gets me."
Annabelle giggles. "I didn't think I would meet someone, or have a crush on them." The two girls giggle at this, and this makes Lincoln and Jordan smile.
This was something closely similar to the relationship between Luna Loud and Sam Sharp, to Ronnie Anne C. Santiago and Sidney Chang. 'Looks like we got ourselves another sparking relationship in town.'
The duo then get up and walk elsewhere, to let Lynn and Annabelle continue their alone time, playing some sports and enjoying each other's company, but they know that sooner or later, or perhaps when next month comes, they might have their first date.
Lincoln then recalls something. 'Right, the tour we are gonna be part of, we don't know when we're gonna go and be part of the whole stick and chances it's gonna be one bad ride for all of us.' Lincoln then sees Luna's purple Ferrari, and then he sees Luna and Sam talking to Lynn and Annabelle.
Looks like they see the duo taking some advice from two girls who both share the same relationship ordeal, one that would be the future they will continue on.
