A/N: Hey guys, what's up? I'm Dark Shining Light! This is my first Trinity Blood story so please don't be angry with me if they are a little bit out of character. I've only seen about four episodes but I like the show VERY much! Since it's my first, it's going to be a short story, okay?

"A Small Wait"

Summary: Esther waits for Father Bloodrode in a restaurant.

Esther sighed. Here she, sitting down in her seat in front of a restaurant but there was one problem; where was Father Bloodrode? He promised that he would meet her at this restaurant at 11:00am. The girl looked at her watch. It was 11:15. 'Where could he be?'
She wondered if he was alright. There have been a number of murders in Rome for some reason. There may be the possible chance that he may have run into one. She prayed that didn't happen.
Another five minutes passed and she placed her elbow on the table before resting her cheek on her palm.
"Esther!"
The girl turned and saw her friend running towards her. She smiled sweetly, "Father Bloodrode."
He stopped in front of her, gasping for air before he returned her smile. "Forgive me Esther, I didn't mean to keep you waiting."
She smiled again. "It's alright."
He nodded and sat in the seat that was placed on the other side of the table.
"So, how are you enjoying Rome?" He asked her.
"Yes, it's very beautiful Father."
He grinned "I'm glad to hear that."
They talked for another minute before a waiter came and asked them what they wanted.
