Chapter 589.
"The New Eagle Eggs."
(June 9, Rosato Mansion.)
We now go to the mansion of the Rosato family, and we have a lot of folks there and seeing what's going on.
From the Louds, some of Lincoln and Jordan's friends, the Rosato's as well, The Carson's and pretty much those they know, but the ones within the Bald Eagle Sanctuary are Lincoln, Jordan and the eagles themselves, and they watch as Becca Chang is checking on the eagle eggs.
Even Sid, Adelaide and Ronnie Anne are there too and they seem excited by what's happening. Nora and Harrier watch as Becca checks on the eggs. "Looks like everything seems fine. These little ones are healthy, and judging by when they were laid, they were somewhere at late May."
Lincoln then recalls. "Which means, we have three months before these guys can hatch, but we're not sure what kind of eagles are within there. Nora is a North American Golden Eagle and Harrier is a Bald Eagle. So, we're not sure about what they're gonna be."
"Not wrong" said Sid. "But I am so excited about this. There are gonna be new eagles!"
Ronnie Anne then holds her hand. "Calm down, nut ball. Don't act all overloaded and stuff, and let's leave them be."
"She's right, come on." Jordan then leads the others out of the place, and they watch as Rick Rosato and Ryan come in and place some cameras, to make sure that the eagles are watched over just in case. They can't risk anything bad happening to the eggs.
They all come down and they see everyone else looking at the large tablet Michelle has and the cameras being placed down and they see Nora and Harrier going to their eggs and Nora sitting on them.
Lincoln smirks at this. 'They really are excited from this.' He then goes over to them. "Guys, let's calm it down and not go overboard with the whole thing, because we got three months till they hatch."
Then Lisa does her thinking and explains. "Lincoln is right, it is common for the eagle species of both Nora and Harrier to have their eggs be ready to hatch in three months and since they were laid in the late of May, that would mean they will hatch around late August."
"But to ensure that it would happen and not hatch at a later time than August, then Nora has to remain sitting onto her clutch until they do break out, and I did notice something amongst the eggs." she takes the tablet and zooms in on the eggs from earlier. "One of them is peculiarly large."
They also notice it. "Huh, seems bigger than the normal eagle egg" said Adelaide. "Doesn't even look like any bird egg, and just a big eagle egg."
Patriot and Valkyrie notice this and are concerned and so are Lincoln and Jordan and both couples are thinking the same thing. 'Please don't be a bad egg. We don't want them to be heartbroken that one of their young never made it.'
Then Lola and Lana begin to talk about names, even though they don't know the gender of each egg and what they would be when they do hatch.
(The Loud House.)
Lincoln, Jordan, Angel, Ryan, Gretchen, Hope, Sid and Ronnie Anne head to the tree house and discuss some stuff. "Alright, so your mom is gonna come by and visit to check on the eggs, right?" asked Lincoln.
Sid nods. "This is something that has not been known or ever recorded and possibly rare. A Bald Eagle and a North American Golden Eagle with eggs, and we don't even know if the eagles will be a hybrid of both avians."
"So, my mom will come by and check on them, and also from what she told me, the same goes with Delilah Silver and her mom, they wanna help keep an eye on the eggs too." She then grabs a soda from Ronnie Anne.
"This is so awesome, but what about the names of the soon to be eagles?" asked Ronnie Anne.
"That one is something we can handle when the time comes" replied Jordan. "For now, we calm down and just do what we can to keep them safe and healthy, and what Sid said doesn't sound well either. Because, these eggs are rare now."
"She's not wrong" replied Ryan. "We had to talk with our godfather, and those cameras he gave us are advanced tech and can keep track of anything trying to come and take them. So, we gotta make sure no one else comes and takes them."
"From what we already know, our friends have seen the eggs and they may have sent some messages and tweeted some stuff on social media" said Gretchen. "We gotta be ready for when the media come over and… Well, interview about the eggs."
Lincoln sighs. "We're gonna get a lot of folks coming, but Katherine Mulligan might help stop it. She's the head anchorwoman and ace reporter for the news, and Jenny's auntie. She might help us keep the press at bay."
"Now that's a plan" said Hope. "Our family will help too, those eagles are family to the Louds and Rosato's and sure as heck they're family to the Warwick's and the Pertland's. We'll do what we can to keep them safe, even while you guys are on the island and on tour."
Ronnie Anne realizes this. "Right. You guys are gonna be one week away from Royal Woods and on Lake Eddie, right? And the whole tour next month too."
Lincoln sighs. "Not gonna lie, but that is the whole dealio on that ball game. The ones coming with us are Ryan, Gretchen, Sid and her mom and little sister and then we have Bullets, his Swellow mate, and we're not sure if Patriot and Valkyrie wanna come along."
"We could ask them" said Jordan. "But not right now." She shows them that on her phone, they can see the camera and Patriot, Valkyrie, Artemis and Freya are speaking with Harrier and Nora. "Something tells me that they are planning something too."
"Whether they come with us or not, we have to accept their choice" said Lincoln. They all agree to this, then something comes into Sid's thoughts and she looks to Angel Carson.
"Angel, you're gonna go to Middle School soon in your home town right?"
Angel nods. "Yeah, why?"
"Well, tomorrow is the date of graduation" said Sid. "What the heck are you doing in town when you should be graduating tomorrow at your school?"
Angel chuckles. "Sid Chang, calm down girl. Here's the kicker of the whole thing you should all know. We at Tuscola already finished our grad-day."
They remain silent. "Wait what?"
Angel chuckles. "Alright gang, so we know that the real deal on when Graduation Day is June 10, but the school I came from had to make it early, and that was last week on Saturday because the school had to go through some heavy duty renovations after the cattle ranch had an incident."
Before the grad-day, a large truck carrying cattle crashed and the bovines got startled and ran right through our school and caused some damage, and so we held the event of graduation day at the park, and then we had our celebration while the school was being patched up."
"I felt bad for the principal though, he looked like a wreck when he found out that the elementary school was a total mess, but things might go smoothly as its getting patched up. I'm gonna be a freshman Middle Schooler, and I can't wait for when that does happen."
They all didn't see that coming. "Wow. If Liam heard about this, then he'd grab his family and go over and help sort out the cattle incident, or he might call one of his cousins from Arizona."
"At least you're going to Middle School soon, when the summer vacay is over. A shame you can't tag along on their one week island stay" said Ronnie Anne.
"Well, Mark is coming next week and I don't wanna miss his arrival into town and sending some time with him too" said Angel Carson. "But, about you Ronnie Anne…"
Ronnie Anne sighs. "Yeah, but my abuela says that it's important to go and check on family, and we're all gonna have to go there. But I know Sid is gonna have fun with you guys, and keep an eye on her."
They all chuckle at that notion, but Sid on the other hand is confused. "What? What the heck am I even gonna end up doing on the island?"
Yeah, they need to keep an eye on Sid Chang. Then Ryan realizes something. "Speaking of familia, Ronnie Anne, what about that annoying answering machine with red wings? Doesn't he have a crush on Nora?"
Ronnie Anne sighs and she recalls. "Yeah, Sergio. Well, he'll be super miffed when he does hear about the five eagle eggs, from Nora and Harrier. But we'll keep an eye on him, possibly Abuela will and make sure he doesn't do anything else dumb."
Lincoln and Jordan also hope nothing bad happens with this news about the five eagle eggs. They already have so much to handle, they don't want any trouble to come to Nora, Harrier and they're unhatched chicks yet, and while they're not around too.
