In the woods a group of mystical creatures were playing around laughing, when something grabbed them by their neck, it was the creature that came out rift, it soon filled their mouths with its ooze as it dropped them the creatures changed their skin blacked and their eyes were vacant, the creature soon started to compose itself looking saner. It soon mumbled words but couldn't make a sentence, it soon walked away looking for more pray.

-At MUPT-

Akira and the others were camping outside near a fire, they were all roasting hotdogs, but Rose was in the MUPT resting after their escape, which worried Akira. He soon returned to the fire and sat down.

"Okay, so after a much-needed nap, I have figured out that were are, in new york city, and to make sure that we weren't just teleported, moggle earth and Middleburg doesn't exist here." Cass explained

"Well, at least your MU…" Cass then looked at her Leader with murderous intent. "I mean, the Multi-Universe Portable Transprojector is working, so what's the plan?" He asked trying to change the subject

"Oh, I think I can help." Lara said as she pulled out her mother's old glasses and puts them on. Just then it projected a large hologram, showing a map with several spirals. "So I think these spots are the rifts and so far there are at least four locations so I figure we divide and conquer, we these." Cass pulled out a small device.

"Phillis told me that our parents used these when they had to face a similar problem." She finished

"Alright since Lara is the one with the map, I think she should go with Tyler." Akira groan. "And BJ should go with Cass."

"What about you?" Tyler asked

"I'll stay with Rose, and keep an eye on our stuff." He added.

"Really, that's very unlike you Akira." Lara said

"Hey, I got a teammate down and I don't feel comfortable leaving her or our ride home behind." He said

"Sure you do bud." BJ said making the boy blush as he nudged his arm. "Just don't be creepy." He joked

"Will you guys just go!" He said.

"Alright alright." Bj added before heading out,

"And Tyler! You better not try anything with my sister!" Akira informed.

"Believe me, if anyone was going to do anything it would be her." Tyler joked which earned him a smack from his girlfriend, as they left Akira looked around making sure that he was alone. He then pulled out Excalibur.

"Okay, Zero. Focus!" He then took a swing and it's sword formed. He soon started swinging.

"One. Two. One. Two" He counted as he swang the sword.

"Hard at work?" Akira jumped and dropped his weapon, and saw Rose Long and Tulip.

"Hello Ma'am what and how are you doing here?" He asked

"Well for the what I thought I come to check up on you." She said putting down a picnic basket "As for the how It's kinda hard to not notice a big metal ball, you can call me Mrs. Long if you like." She joked. Akira picked up his weapon and changed it back to its handle and placed it back in his pocket, the adult and her child set up the blanket and sat down.

"Come you must be hungry." She said as she pulled out a plate, Akira sat down. As she was making a plate she noticed that he was alone.

"So where are your friends?" She inquired as she looked around.

"Oh my friends, went to take care of the business we had here." He said

"Yeah, Jake told me that you say that you are from another dimension." She said

"I am, my friends, and I are trying to clean up some rifts, after an incident in my dimension." He said.

"I'm sorry to hear that." She said.

"It was all my fault so I have to clean this up." He said

"Wow, your so similar to Jake." She said

"Speaking of, why is he so… that?" He asked

"To fair, he is much mellow and less strict, but since these rifts opened he had to fulfill his duties as the American Dragon." She said

"And what's that?" He asked

"Well from what I know, dragons are the protectors of the Magical World and Jake is the American Dragon." She explained

"Is that like a Hero?" He asked

"Sort of it more like a title, but he has a lot of power and responsibilities." She said as she handed him a plate of food.

"Oh thank you." He said as he took the food, now that he thinks about it, did they really bring any food.

"In fact, I was raised to hunt his kind down." She said making Akira choke on his food. Making the mother laugh As he ate the little girl was looking around the MUPT as she looks at the thing she heard something, she looks over and saw a leprechaun, but something was wrong, she went over towards it and saw it look at the white vacant eyes, it soon lunge towards the girl, making her scream.

"MOMMY!" The two heard they soon went to check it out and saw Tulip being chased, Akira soon sprang into action he grabbed Tulip and got her back to her mother. He soon pulled out Excalibur and it transformed into a knife, the leprechaun then came out, but it looked monstrous, it's skin was pale, a dark hue enveloped its suit and as it came closer, it noticed Akira and got aggressive and started charging him as Akira was about to cut him, the knife disappeared.

"What!" Akira yelled he then saw the handle move towards his gauntlet and fused, activating his shield.

"Not the useless thing, I need a weapon!" He said as he shook the thing. But as the creature attack Akira used the shield to protect himself as he pushed it away his hand started to glow. He then rush towards the his opponent and hit as he did a bubble formed around it suspending it, he then gripped his hand shrinking the bubble till it was the size of a marble.

"Okay, that's new." He said as he looked at his hand as the light faded, he then went to check on his guests. "Is she okay?" He asked

"Yeah, thank you for helping her." She said

"Of course I am a part-time hero!" He said with pride. Making the woman chuckle. "But right now i'm more worried about what that thing was."

"I think that was a leprechaun, but something was off, young man do you think I can take that to my husband he might know what's wrong with it." She offered. Akira was hesitant about it but had no choice maybe some help from the locals would be a good idea. He soon handed her the marble.

"Thank you for trusting me, young man." She said as she took her child and left, Akira soon returned to his food, wondering how the others were fairing.
