Fallout: Kazuma the Road Warrior? XXIII

When morning came, Kazuma had peeking in the room where Aqua had passed out in bed, with her shirt nearly revealing her boobs, her mouth wide opened as she snored and another empty bottle next to her.
Taking this as a chance to make things up with Aqua, Kazuma took the elevator down to the Top's ground floor, before walking across the street to the Ultra Lux Casino.
Upon his return, he had brought in cold purified water and Brahmin Wellington that was only ever made and served at the very Casino he was at as he woke up Aqua.
"Mm Kazuma" said Aqua as she tried to get her sleep back, "Aqua wake up, I got you breakfast" said Kazuma as Aqua began to gain consciousness.
"Oh it's the NEET I slept with and- sniff what's that delicious smell" perked up Aqua as she saw the plate Kazuma had in hand, "Brahmin Wellington" said Kazuma as Aqua took the plate and began to devour it.
"Why didn't we ordered this last night" Aqua said in joy before taking some water to wash down her meal, "They only serve this at the Ultra Lux Casino" said Kazuma as this got Aqua's attention.
"Then why the hell didn't we go there first" asked Aqua as she had food crumbs on her face, to which Kazuma began to wipe off clean, "For reasons we'll tackle on another day" said Kazuma.
"Anyways Aqua, I want to apologize for my behavior last night" said Kazuma as Aqua stopped mid eating as she nearly forgot what did happen the night before.
"That's right you scoundrel of the Mojave, and if you think a fancy, and probably the most delicious meal I've had in this barren wasteland, will get me to forgive you try again" Aqua said trying to gain her composure as she put her utensils down while turning her head to pout.
Picking up the utensils, Kazuma began to cut Aqua's meal before offering to feed her, himself to which she happily oblige.
"Look I'm new to this relationship thing, and I'm guessing you are too, and I'm still gonna be a gender equalist cynical asshole and you're a jinx of debt, but regardless I still love you and I promise to improve in order to keep this relationship" said Kazuma as Aqua listened to what he said as they ate.
"Well, I guess I can forgive you if you promise to pamper and spoil me from here on out" Aqua said cutely, "If I got to deal saving the damn Mojave in all of its humid hot weather, you are too" said Kazuma dumbfoundedly.
"Eh, but why do I have to risk going back out there where we can live the high life in these casinos from now on" said Aqua, "Remember, every time I beat the house, I get banned remember" said Kazuma, "Oh yeah that's right".
"Well, I'll be outside waiting for you to get dress, and afterwards we'll head towards the Lucky 38, get our crew and meet up with Chris, Megumin, and Darkness at Camp McCarron" said Kazuma as he left Aqua to dress in private.
While Aqua was getting changed, Kazuma already packed himself some clothes in advance, specifically a pair of combat armor, and while it was more heavy and didn't allow the same flexibility as his leather armor Eris gave him, it was light enough to not interfere with his Agility while giving him a balanced protection from any attacks.
Aqua in return stepped out wearing her signature combat vault 13 suit, as she picked up her trusty Chinese Assault Rifle that she let rest over her back.
"Ready to go darling" said Aqua, "Let's hit the road" said Kazuma as he gave a thumbs up and a smile before leaving the Tops Casino.
While he did notice some attention, it was apparent that on their way to the Lucky 38 Casino, that the NCR citizens and some of their soldiers were talking and pointing towards Aqua and Kazuma.
"Hey Kazuma" whispered Aqua, "Yes I am Kazuma" quipped back Kazuma, "Is it me or are people looking and talking about us" "I notice it too, let's just head to the Lucky 38 and figure out from there".
Once they made their way to the Lucky 38 Casino, all of Chris' companions were huddled around one of the radios by the time the duo arrived back.
"Oh my god Kazuma, where the hell have you and Aqua been" said Cass as she, Raul, and Ed-e decided to stick around, since Darkness, Lily, or Veronica weren't around.
"We were at the Top's Casino, why what's going on" asked Kazuma, "Just listen to what they're saying on the radio about your party" said Cass, "Oh god what did they do now".
"…While we've yet to be given any casualty report, the Monorail that once connected to the New Vegas Strip and the NCR's Camp McCarran has been completely destroyed after the combined efforts of the Road Warrior and the Courier failed to disarm the bomb on the monorail; accordingly it's been stated by the very Feisty Loli Cyclops of the NCR had deliberately chose not to disarm the bomb when she was given the opportunity to do so, in spite of having plenty of time to do it. In other news, rumors have spread that citizens have spotted the Road Warrior himself and the Oasis Beauty painting the town red at the Tops Casino the night before, which has lead rumors to speculate that the Road Warrior has deiced to settle down in choosing one of the many beauties that are accompanying him" said Mr. New Vegas on the radio broadcast.
After hearing the news on the radio, a lot was going on in Kazuma's head be it how his party members, specifically Megumin, chose to deal with their Legion spy problem in Camp McCarran, how Megumin and Darkness are going to take the news over hearing on the radio that he and Aqua are an item, and their overall reputation amongst the Mojave, and this is not mentioning their quickest and fastest way to catch up to everyone was completely obliterated.
"You sure have a lot to explain jefe" said Raul as Ed-e beeped in agreement, "Heh, guess that makes me 100 caps richer" smirked Cass as she made a bet with Veronica a while back.
"But more on that later, right now what the hell are we gonna do" asked Cass, "Sigh, I guess assuming that Darkness, Megumin, and the others are already off on their way to catch up with Chris in trying to cure Rex, I guess we're all going back to the Fort" said Kazuma as Aqua began to pale at that statement.
"Are you kidding me Kazuma" asked a mortified Aqua as she wanted to get the hell away from her time as a prisoner to the Legion, and now hearing what Kazuma said wasn't high on her to do list.
"We got no choice, there's a high chance of us running into everyone, with the plan to put a bullet into Caesar's head, so enough standing around and let's hit the road" said Kazuma as he began to leave behind junk and other unique weapons in favor of having space for bullets, new guns at the Gun Runners Kiosk, and stimpacks.
Making the descent down to the main strip and out the front gate, the current members of team Kazuma were none the less greeted by friendly faces when they walked back into Freeside, be it from the locals or the Kings themselves, the Followers or those leaving the Mormon Fort.
Once outside the gate, they made their way back towards the Gun Runners kiosk, much to Aqua's displeasure.
"Are you kidding me Kazuma" Aqua said angrily, "What are you bitching about this time" asked Kazuma in a deadpanned voice.
"Why the hell are we here buying more guns when you left a crap ton of them back at the Lucky 38" demanded Aqua, "You do know there's a ton of unique weapons out in the Mojave right, and unfortunately a lot of the best one's need to be purchased" said Kazuma.
"Grr, I'm your girlfriend and you should focus on spending and saving your money to treat me to the high life from now on you jackass" said Aqua before Kazuma got up in her face.
"Damn it woman, I'm buying these guns and ammo for that very reason" said Kazuma as this left Aqua confused, "How the hell do you expect me to keep you and everyone else safe, with a damn knife cause news flash that didn't help us when we got killed by that damn dragon or did you forget about that, and how we're about to walk into the Legion's main camp".
Hearing his reason and logic Aqua began to pout as she turned her head away as Kazuma took this as her way of conceding defeat, while Aqua began to rethink about Kazuma's current action.
"Greeting Sir or Madam, what can I do for you asked the Gun Runner Vendor Bot, "I'd like to buy some weapons, and ammo" said Kazuma as he saw the huge Gun Runners catalogue laid before him.
By the time Kazuma was done, he had left the Gun Runners kiosk with the most powerful weapon in New Vegas entirely, Esther and a crap ton of Mini nukes, and after selling a surplus of repaired faction armor, common weapons, and Legion and NCR money, Kazuma had enough to get himself the Sleepytyme 10mm SMG before continuing their patrol on the Mojave.
Before completely leaving New Vegas behind them, Kazuma and company stopped at the Gulp & Grub rest stop to pick up last minute food and water for the road, before spotting some unwanted figures approaching.
"We got company boss" said Raul as he began to brandish the Lucky Revolver he was permitted to carry with him on person, "I've been itching for some action" said Cass as she had a stick of dynamite on person and her lighter ready.
"Just be sure to save us some kills now" smirked Kazuma as he took out Lincoln's Repeater and began to aim down sights, "I swear you mention to that little twerp Eris I had to use this and I swear I'm gonna throw the biggest bitch fit this side of the Mojave" said Aqua as she took out her trusty Chinese assault rifle.
Holding his breath and crouching down, Kazuma wasted no time in suppressing fire with his repeater rifle as Cass began to throw dynamite.
Unlike with Megumin who would spray and pray like crazy thanks to the abundance of explosives at her disposal, Cass made her dynamite count as Kazuma plucked one Legion soldier down and used it as to her advantage.
Throwing the single stick, she not only helped Kazuma put an end to the already damaged Legion Assassin but one for herself while the rest were left shell shocked.
Aqua having gained to nerve to face down her oppressors began to lead Raul forward into battle as she began to fill 2 remaining Legion Assassins with lead, before emptying her clip entirely.
Seeing as 2 more had remained, and one was getting dangerously close to Aqua, Kazuma entered in V.A.T.S. and began to crippled the Assassin's legs and shoot his weapon out of his hand.
Still it didn't stop the Legion Assassin to run in there and delivered a straight punch to Aqua, knocking her to the ground, as Raul, who had previously dealt with his target by shooting his weapon out of his hands before head locking him, caught wind of what had happened.
Using his revolver, he took aim and shot the remaining rounds into the back of the Legion Assassin, as he fell to the ground, before using his revolver to bludgeon to death the Legion he had in a tight grip.
Rushing over to Aqua, Kazuma gently lifted her up, to see that her left cheek was swollen, "That hurt" cried Aqua as Kazuma began to apply a cold slab of Bighorn steak on her cheek.
"Hold it down, this should take care of the swelling" comforted Kazuma, "Kazuma you said you went to buy those guns to protect me, but instead I got punched" cried Aqua with tears in her eyes as she further put salt on Kazuma's wounds.
Holding Aqua in tightly, Aqua heard soft sobs from the man as he was scared and grateful that his woman was alive and was more than driven to kill Caesar for good.
Seeing the pained look, Aqua gently placed her hand on her boyfriends face and turned his head lightly, "Kazuma, look at me darling I'm ok" reassured Aqua as Kazuma was just seconds away from being a blubbering mess.
"While it does hurt, it's not as bad as the treatment I suffered when I was imprisoned during my stay at the camp" said Aqua as Kazuma began to wipe his tears to show the determination in his eyes since he knows what he has to do in order to save not only his friends, but the Mojave.
And I'm going to end the chapter right there, sorry for the long wait guys, but I got caught up when I said I was busy when planning my wedding and being officially married to my Waifu.
I won't go into details into that, other than my friends and co-workers were supportive, if not teasing me for actually doing what I did, while both my mom and stepmom were anything but understanding and supportive, but hey my brothers and extended family were more than understanding and ya know what that just shows me how many other and much family support I have.

Anyways, back to the story topic at hand, before we deal with Caesar at the Fort, next chapter is gonna focus on Megumin, Darkness, Chris and the others as to what was happening when Kazuma and Aqua were shacking up and bumping uglys.
Also before I forget, someone asked or mentioned a request for Fisto and Darkness, well don't worry about that, since I do plan to have Darkness, Kazuma, and Chris confront him in the future, since it be a shame and waste if I didn't
