Fallout: Kazuma the Road Warrior? Ending 3

The day had finally arrived, the battle that'll shape the Mojave and the fate of its citizens as Kazuma waited inside the NCR waiting room checking his gear for the last time before he and everyone set forth to finally end this.
"Something on your mind Kazuma" asked Aqua, "Um, well yeah, it's just…" said Kazuma as he was at a loss of words as to how he felt right now at the moment.
"It's just what" asked Darkness, "It's just that, I, and every Fallout player for that matter, have beaten New Vegas about a hundred times now, and well looking back at it, the feeling I had when I beat it the first time around doesn't even compare to what I'm feeling right now" said Kazuma.
"And what are you feeling exactly" asked Megumin, "I can't even find the words to it, I guess excitement is one of it, fear is definitely another, but something more to it, like I'm dying over the anticipation of the final resolve, which may or may leave me feeling either fulfilled that I've got to finish and complete something I've never done before in my life, or oddly enough a new feeling of emptiness when it's all said and done" said Kazuma.
"I think I understand what you're saying, I feel the same way" said Darkness, "Yeah, ditto" said Megumin.
"Even though I know this world was based on a videogame, I feel that our actions will forever have a great impact of it's own here, be it towards the places, or friends we make, or even the community we have garnered" said Aqua just as they felt the tremor of something going off, meaning it was time for war.
"Well we're not going to end this by staying here" said Aqua as she pulled out That Gun from her hip, as Darkness slid her helmet on to her power armor as she bent down to grab the Red Glare rocket launcher, while Megumin grabbed Mercy and undid the safety as Kazuma kicked the door down with his Sequoia revolver extended out.
"Let's do this" said Kazuma as he and his party flushed out the room and were ready to start the blood fest, but were intervened by an NCR engineer.
"Please you gotta do something" said the engineer, "What's wrong" asked Kazuma as he knew the answer to this already.
"Legion are sneaking from the inside, I think through the Dam's filtration system" said the engineer, "Is there a way to stop them or plug wherever it is they're coming from" asked Aqua.
"If you can go to the 3rd level room within the dam, you can restart and turn the system on" said the engineer, "Alright, we'll take care of things from here, now go" said Kazuma.
"Darkness, you go and restart the system, we'll take the surface and face the Legion head on" said Kazuma, "Got it Kazuma, I'll catch up once we've purged the Legion" said Darkness as they all ran separate directions.
Upon reaching the lobby ready to face on some Legion, Kazuma and company were surprised to see that Cass and Raul were there along with Rex finishing up the Legion.
"Kazuma, about time you got here, the party already started without you" said Cass as she rested her shotgun over her shoulder and without even looking, pulled the trigger and blasted a Legion's soldier head off.
"Yeah, sorry about that, but it looks like you guys got it from here" said Kazuma as Raul rapidly shot at 3 Legion soldiers dead as he slammed the hammer of his revolver repeatedly.
"What gave it away" said Raul as he pulled a combat knife off his body and tossed it over as he nailed another Legion soldier square in the head, before Rex retrieved it and brought it back to Cass instead.
"Enough with the small talk, get going already, we got you guys covered" said Cass as she used the knife Rex had given her to pounce on a Legion soldier coming up the stairs as she stabbed him in the heart as Rex covered her and began ripping digits and throats out.
Without saying a word, the party members of team Kazuma rushed outside to the sounds of gun fire and explosions as the NCR troops and Caesars Legion were going all out.
"You think they would have started this war long without us" commented Aqua as a Legionnaire came charging at her with a machete, but she dropped him with a few well placed shots before using their own take down against him.
"Literally the only main even dependent on us triggering or not" said Kazuma as he used his Sequoia revolver to kill to Legion soldiers as they began to swim through it all as they reached for the first check point.
Once there, Megumin took control of the situation as the charging Centurion and Preatorian were less than prepared when Megumin had blasted and gibbed them to bits as body parts and blood covered the area.
"First check point cleared!" exclaimed Megumin before Kazuma and Aqua caught up to rinse and repeat all the way up to the 3rd check point, when the Legion came from the side towers.
Ready for the counter attack, the group was surprise to see Lily running in from almost nowhere as she chopped down the one's in front of her, while the sound of a .50 Cal rifle can be heard taking down the ones from the back.
"Boone, Lily, you're late" said Kazuma happily, "It was my idea to surprise them from behind as Boone remained worried free even as a Legion Veteran tried sneaking on him from behind, because they would soon be disintegrated by a familiar little bot.
"God job Ed-e, keep watching my six" said Boone as the little bot beeped in agreement, "Run along children, grandma has things under control" said Lily as she disappeared once more to take on the Legion.
As they continued along the dam, every ally they had befriended, be it the NCR, Boomers, or even the Enclave Remnants, everyone was there to ensure that the Legion would fall today.
"Guys, we're almost there, we're at the fort" said Kazuma as Megumin halt in her tracks and looked behind her, "Megumin, what are you doing" asked Kazuma
"You 2 go on ahead, if this is truly going to be end than I want to blow as many things and people up as much as possible, besides one of us has to search for Darkness" said Megumin.
"Be careful out there" said Aqua as Megumin gave them a thumbs up and tossed a grenade on some unsuspecting Legion soldiers.
Seeing as Megumin had everything in control, Kazuma and Aqua approached the gate that separated them from the Legate and watched it blew open for them as the stormed the camp.
Wasting no time, Kazuma had equipped himself again with the Survivalist Rifle and Aqua with her holo rifle as they both took out not only the Legion soldiers that were approaching in front of them, but also those from a distance.
"So any idea where this Legate is" asked Aqua as she killed the last Legion troop in front of her, "Yeah he's up on that hill over there" said Kazuma as he pointed to where the Monster of the East had killed 2 NCR Rangers without the need of his own guards to assist him.
"Ok" said Aqua as she blindly chose to shoot the man without a second thought much to Kazuma's surprise.
"What the hell you useless goddess, I was literally going to talk him down without having to fight him" said Kazuma, "Hey I'm not useless, it's your fault for not telling me your plan from the beginning" said Aqua.
"We literally had the element of surprise on our side, now we got to go up against the final boss who is literally one of the toughest people to fight out here in the Mojave" said Kazuma as the Legate was charging down the hill.
"Well I see no point in arguing about it" said Aqua, "Agreed, one way or another it's going to end right now" said Chris as she stood next to the couple.
"Chris, where did you come from" asked Kazuma, "Just wanted to give you this and pray that you don't, you know, die" said Chris as she handed Kazuma literally the best weapon he could ask for, the Alien Blaster.
"How did you-" asked Kazuma, "No time for questions, we got a monster approaching us" said Chris as the approaching Legate let out a fierce battle cry as his sights were set on Kazuma.
Knowing what needed to be done, Kazuma stepped forward with the Alien Blaster and pulled the trigger and prayed for the best as he watched a single shot turning the most feared man into ash.
"Holy shit" said Kazuma in disbelief as Aqua wrapped her arms around him and kissed him on the cheek.
"We did it Kazuma, we finally did it, we beat the Legate and saved the Mojave" said Aqua as Kazuma was like shock over finally succeeding something with his life.
"I can't believe it, we… we did it!" exclaimed Kazuma with a cheerful tone, "You sure did" came the voice of General Oliver as he had not only the NCR Veteran Rangers escorting him, but also Megumin and Darkness behind him.
"We couldn't have done it without the 5 of you, today marks and end to a 5 year long war, and tomorrow a bright future for not only the NCR, but also the people of the Mojave" said General Oliver.
"It was our pleasure General" said Darkness, "So what now" asked Megumin, "We still got to make sure to sweep the area around here clear of Legion activity, take in prisoners, and confirm that all is to end well" said General Oliver.
"If it's all right with you General, I think we're ready to rest after everything that's happened" said Aqua, "You all deserve it, we got things from here" said General Oliver.
"Thanks General, we'll see you around" said Kazuma as the group was finally left to themselves as they went up the hill to overlook the Mojave one last time.
"So we did it guys, we finally earned out stripes as not only adventurers but as heroes" said Kazuma, "Technically we already have earned our stripes and have done many heroic deeds in the past" said Darkness.
"Yeah, but what we did here will permanently immortalize us in the history books of this world" said Kazuma, "When you put it like that, it makes it feel like everything we did up till now was nothing up until this moment" said Megumin.
"Take it in guys, cause this is what I, as a goddess, used to feel on a daily" said Aqua, "And yet, I'm sad to say goodbye to all of this" said Kazuma.
"Maybe, but now that you have succeeded Kazuma, I may grant you any wish you desire" said Chris as this caught Kazuma off after all he's been through.
"Can you give me some time to think it over, there's a lot of things I want to consider" said Kazuma, "Sure thing Kazuma, cause this moment will last as long as we're here" said Chris.
Epilogue
After a 5 year long campaign finally came to an end, it seems the fate of the Mojave finally has a future for tomorrow, all thanks to a couple of outsiders.
While never a real point of interest, the town of Nipton was soon rebuilt once more as it soon became a historical city where Kazuma the Road Warrior and his party members origin started from, with statues made in their honor proudly erect in the center of town.
Without any named Legion officer to lead the troops that remained in the Mojave, their presence soon crumble, and in time the Legion would ultimately tear themselves apart back in the far east, like they did once before after the fall of their great leader.
In time when it came to reorganizing to face the NCR in the years to come, it would be far too late.
The Boomers having known to be a very isolated group soon found themselves slowly integrating with their neighbors of the Mojave, while maintaining their heritage and sharing tales of the Feisty Loli Cyclops of the NCR, who more than immortalized herself as not only a representative of the NCR, but also the Crimson Demon Clan.
In years to come, the Boomers would unfortunately would pick up Megumin's weeaboo habit, and for generations to come, the Boomers would be just as bad as the Crimson Demon's Chuunibyo habits.
Having already made herself a more than honorary member with her chivalrous nature, the Brotherhood of Steel would later create an exclusive group of light armored melee soldiers, named the Darkness of Steel, in her honor.
Because of her charm, and her wearing the iconic Vault 13 jumpsuit, the NCR would never forget the kindness Aqua had offered to all the troops working in the front line and would worship her in the years to come, under the assumption she was a direct descendant of the Chosen One, and the Vault Dweller that long came before her.
Unfortunately, this resulted in a generation of fanatical idiots who would later try to establish a religion based on the fabled Vault 13.
While glad that the man responsible for eradicating his tribe was dead long with the Monster of the East, Ulysses couldn't help but feel sad over the loss knowing that the flag he had once proudly followed was now to be forgotten in another page to the history book like his tribe before.
Once word had finally spread that the Monster of the East was dead, it brought more peace to Joshua Graham as he and Daniel continued to help local tribals and teaching them the ancient texts of the Father, as a means to make amends to those whom he mercilessly betrayed as his time as Caesars right hand man.
One his death bed, Joshua had a genuine smile knowing that he was able to go with god and find peace within himself.
Having crossed paths with the Road Warrior, Conrad Kellogg had merely thought of Kazuma as nothing more than another opportunist who was one bad day away from winding up like him, and was even willing to share the secret of the existence of his new employers as the Institutes newest field operative.
However, Kazuma, in his own journey of growth, reminded Kellogg back to his basic roots as a human being, and made the man to be a little more empathetic like Joshua Graham, as upon his return to the Commonwealth, he chose to spare the life of the Sole Survivors spouse when kidnapping the future director of the Institute.
While the Big MT remained uncharitable for many years to come, those from the thinking bowl, now back under the direction of Dr. Mobius, would continue on with their experiments, including the testing of newer alternative ways to use explosive weaponry as per requested by Megumin.
When the day came to test out their greatest project, the Big MT was finally seen be everyone for a brief second for those close enough to see, before travelers came to see what caused such a great explosion, only to find nothing, as all traces had been destroyed and their greatest project forever lost.
Having seen the horrors that remained on land, Snake returned and told his father what had happened, and it was unanimously decided that they shall continue to remain in isolation on the oil rig, as they had no interest in connecting with the outside world, at least for the time being.
In decades to come, when the NCR finally decided now was the time to travel across the oceans once more, they would stumble upon these Enclave Remnants and would let them to finally integrate into their society, putting an end to a near century long grudge.
Having already carrying the treasure of the Sierra Madre on his back, Art Legend was commended for his actions for assisting Aqua in restoring the NCR's financial situation, and after sharing the location of the Sierra Madre and the horrors that roamed the land, it was decided that the NCR would choose it as their first location to test their nuclear bombs once the technology was available to them once more.
While he was offered the position as the new Chief of the NCR Ranger shortly after Chief Hanlon's retirement, Art declined and gave it up to his mentor and friend Ranger Tanner as he chose instead for an early retirement where he spends his days raising a family in the newly rebuilt Sunnyvale.
Finally there came Kazuma, the Road Warrior and true hero who would be immortalized in the text books of the NCR as he was the hero many children would come to idolize and many raiders would come to fear.
As the goddess Eris had told him, he had many choices with his wish, including the choice to stay in this world and become the new king of New Vegas, a chance to go back home to the life he once had, to reincarnate himself for the life he had only fantasized about, to even becoming a god himself.
However, he chose to instead wish for him and his party members to return back to Axel with all the weapons and skills they had all acquired into their continued lives as adventurers, and even selling the weapons and armor they had acquired, making him the most richest, and influential man in the world, as he would shape it to something close to the life he had once before and implanting new basic human rights.
And of course he chose to settle down with Aqua, Darkness, and Megumin as one big happy family, with their children growing up to be their worst selves, something Kazuma wouldn't have any other way.

We did it people, somehow I managed to do it, I finally came around to finish not only this story, but being the first person ever to write and fully completed a story amongst this crossover community, and I really hope this meets your guys expectations.
More importantly I just want to thank you guys for so much for your support I know I still got other stories that need my attention, and I promise you guys they will receive the closure it deserves for those who has been following my other work.
